masquerade!Welcome to the Calanthe Mansion, you’re just on time! Looking good! Guests have already entered so go right on in. Be sure you have your special guest close by - wouldn’t want to lose them now. Are your masks snug and secure? Good! Now to check your name off the list and you’re all set to go in!
Tonight is a cold one, the clouds are just barely covering the full moon. The lake beside the mansion is perfectly still. The outside is illuminated with several old-styled lanterns, you’re allowed to mingle in the garden if you’d like (just don’t you dare step on the flowers.) Now as you enter you notice the mansion looks impeccably clean (save for the ceiling and higher-to-reach spots which are covered with cobwebs and dust) – but it could just be decorations to suit the Halloween theme. The air in this house is cold and foreboding, but not intolerable. You may need to slip a sweater on sometime depending on which room you enter.
ROOM A – Entryway - only a giant chandelier hangs here and nothing much else to see. This is the ideal spot for meeting new people. A crinkled piece of paper hangs on the wall which reads ‘Welcome, please come inside’ with the same typewriter font as the invitation that was given to you.
ROOM B – Lounge Room 1 – Next to the kitchen, There is a wide array of snacks set up on a table if you so choose to eat. Practically any party food that can be thought of is there, including a chocolate fountain with strawberries, marshmallows, and other sweet things ready to be dipped in surrounding it. Punch and Alcoholic Punch are both labeled, so you can't get away with sneaking any alcohol if you're not old enough!
ROOM C – Bathroom 1 – Everyone needs to go at some point. Too bad its completely unclean. Although it somehow miraculously still smells like orchids, there is rust on every bit of metal which is also caked in thick layers of dust.
D – The shower. Completely coated in black sludge and looks like something out of Silent Hill.
ROOM E – A nice table is set up with a vase of orchids set in the middle. Only about ten seats in here, but at least its clean. Probably a nice spot to sit down and eat if you’re not feeling up to mingling.
ROOM F – The Kitchen – Also covered in dust and grime… but… where’d all the food and silverware come from, then?
G – Refrigerator – Yuck! What is in here!? You can’t even tell! All you know is that it stinks!
ROOM H – The Flower Room – Looks like some kind of shrine? There’s a huge portrait of the Calanthe Ghost on the wall surrounded by dried orchids. Stay in here too long and you’ll start getting a very uneasy feeling. The door to this room is lodged shut, but can probably be opened with a few hard tugs. The music is coming from this room from an old record.
HALLWAY I – Hallway – A hallway leading the lounge room to the Flower Room. There are candles lit to illuminate it as opposed to electric lights. You get an uneasy feeling looking down this hallway, seeing that it leads to an old wooden door.
HALLWAY J – Leads to room L, there is nothing down this hallway but complete darkness.
K – Staircase
ROOM L - If you gather the courage to go down Hallway J you'll come across nothing but a single dead flower on the ground. ...Wouldn't linger here too long if I were you.
M – Mirror – Just a creepy old mirror with a gigantic crack going down the middle… you feel… hypnotized somehow staring at it.
ROOM O – Bathroom 2 – Same condition as the first bathroom, bugger.
N – Pile of soil? – Just a big pile of dirt on the ground…something seems to be glowing on the inside?
ROOM P – Bedroom – It’s so cold in here… A large bed littered with fresh orchids on the mattress. Creepy…
Q & R – Patio – This is where you can go outside and gaze at the lake, a pretty romantic spot. It’s set with a bench of everything as well.
HALLWAY T – Takes you from room S to the patio. Nothing remarkable about this room.
ROOM S – Leads from the staircase to the bathroom and room T – also nothing remarkable than this room other than two doors. Guarantees some privacy until someone comes up the stairs. ROOM U – Lounge Room 2 – Still on the first floor. Consists of an organ available for playing, but be wary – playing badly and loud will disrupt the Calanthe Ghost’s good spirits and she will be sure to meet any culprit with a terrible punishment.

"So this is it, huh?"
Belle gazed up at the mansion rather...impressed for once in her life. It wasn't every day she was invited to a party quite like this. An all-out formal masquerade...and even then they were sent a courtesy disguise matrix from an anonymous sender. For what purpose, though? How could someone possibly know that her 'special guest' would be needing a matrix in order to attend? The thought was disturbing, but she let herself forget that nagging feeling that something wasn't quite right about this party the moment she found out that alcohol would be served. However, Belle was slowly discovering that with this 'special guest' of hers, loosening up in the way she wanted to wouldn't be easy...
"I still can't believe you dragged me to this thing... And covered me in FUR!" Beast grunted. He wasn't really all that covered, just mounted with a giant wig with on his head that made him look a lot fuzzier and beastier than he actually was. Belle couldn't help but roll her eyes at the exaggeration made by her partner.
"Look, you said you wanted to go everywhere I did and so I invited you. You can either thank me for letting you get out in the world and be social or you can complain the entire time and ruin everyone's fun. Either way, I may end up ditching you."
Belle glanced at Beast through her mask, grinning to see how angry she had made him. Leave her alone, yeah right. Like he was ever going to allow that to happen. "You'd leave me here!?" he shouted with indignation, quickly silenced once he felt Belle's hands lace around one of his large arms.
"No. I'm too scared of the horrible ghosties."
Of course she was being totally sarcastic, she even spoke with the pouted lip and everything. Belle let the faux frightened look melt away so that Beast wouldn't be scared off by her arm-holding, "Just chill out, I'll get you some spiked punch, okay? That'll be sure to loosen you up and have some fun...I've got to say I'm actually pretty excited to see what you act like when you're drunk."
Beast had no idea what the word 'drunk' meant but he was already close to having some form of a meltdown the moment Belle took his arm. Either out of anger or some manner of embarrassment, he knew that she would have plenty of fun making him look bad.
Even still, both were dressed to impress. The costumes were definitely expensive-looking, almost as if they were right from the movie. Belle wore her yellow gown adorned with a white jewel-encrusted mask while Beast wore the blue suit similar to that from the film with his big fuzzy wig and a demonic-looking mask. Once they entered the entryway they took a good look around. Belle was only slightly disturbed to see a small cloud of air escape her lips due to the freezing temperatures inside.
"Jeeze, did someone leave a freezer open or something?"

"Remind me why we're going here again?"
"You were invited, weren't you?"
A sigh came from behind the mask of the shorter of the two as he and what appeared to be a woman followed beside him, though a yellow fox helmet obscured her face. Anyone other than her plus one... Or rather, she was his plus one... But anyone else would only have voice and figure to go on. Somehow though she seemed curious despite her hidden face, her head turning to survey the new area she and her masked friend had entered. The Black Rider had never been to a party and she was actually a little excited, though it had taken quite a bit of work to get her companion to agree to going.
The Black Reaper on the other hand, despite the slightly creepy smile painted on the mask didn't seem entirely enthusiastic... The place actually creeped him out. It big and open, and despite standing up as straight and tall as possible he still felt short. He supposed it was just the fact that not many had yet arrived really and the place felt so empty. The atmosphere was sure to pick up once everyone arrived and the place came alive.
He was soon distracted by the feeling the place gave off though as he saw the room off to the side, immediately going forward to look over the table. The Black Rider sighed within her helmet but followed anyway, figuring they shouldn't get separated or anything like that. "...I swear they have everything." The Black Reaper commented, turning his head as he peered down the table. "You aren't going to hang out at the table the whole time and eat are you? " His companion asked, not sounding at all enthusiastic and even sighing a little.
"Might as well... Isn't that the point? And with the spiked punch I dunno if there will be anyone to talk to." He could almost feel the stern look he was getting from the other, yet The Black Reaper still grinned behind his mask where no one could see. "I'm kidding, don't worry about it. I'll... Try to talk... If I find someone I want to talk to." He said, taking a marshmallow and dipping it in the chocolate. He seemed to stall a moment before quickly lifting the mask up a bit and eating it. "You're making a mess." The Black Rider mentioned with a sigh, taking a napkin and cleaning up after her companion.
"Hey, it's not like I meant to." He said, folding his arms over his chest and looking up at The Black Rider as she straightened up... Why did she have to be taller than him? Oh well, that didn't matter really. If anyone said anything about it he could just ignore it, since no one here would know them anyway. Tonight, he could act like someone else if he wanted to.

She was as radiant as the sun, and could have lit up the entire dreary mansion with the flow of her outfit. Her light, milk chocolate brown hair is tied up in a bun and adorned with many small ornamental hairpieces, a couple of which are long pins that stick out of her hair. The ends of such pins are decorated with thin pieces of metal in flower-like shapes. Her face is covered in a white paint, including her ears and neck. Black eyeliner rings her eyes, and curls up from the corner of her eyes. Her lips are tinted a light red color, the carefullest of hands having painted them. However, none of her face, besides her eyes, is visible. A white fox mask with a gold nose and eyebrows and red eartips, whiskers, and rings around the eyes masks her identity. It is held into place around her head with a simple red ribbon. Her outfit is simple, consisting of a bright golden kimono, red embroidered flames licking at the bottom edge. Wrapped around her middle is a crimson obi, tied in a bow around her back. On her feet is a pair of white tabi socks, and she balances precariously on a pair of geta sandals. She holds gently in her hand a gold and maroon fan. She hides her face, and her mask, behind it, leaving her eyes to dance with a hidden mischief.
"Good evening, Miss Kitsune."
She turns to glance at the figure walking up, smiling behind her mask and fan at the man.
"Good evening to you as well, Mister Holmes."
Sherlock Holmes held out his arm for the well dressed lady to take, he himself dressed presentably in a pair of well pressed pants and shirt, a plain black tie, and a plaid patterned jacket and deerstalker hat. In his breast pocket, located on the left side of his jacket, lies a meticulously clean magnifying glass. He glances down at the young lady, who happens to only be a few inches short, and wiggles his upper lip. Stuck to it is an almost believable fake mustache. The Kitsune lady laughs, a sound so clear and soft.
"Mister Holmes, I think you may be forgetting something."
She pulls out a plain black mask from the depths of her large sleeve and hands it to the man. Sherlock smiles gratefully and extends the elastic around his head, holding the mask against his face.
"I am ever so grateful."
As the pair walked into the mansion they glanced around at the other pair in the main entryway. Sherlock stopped below the large chandelier. He was gawking at the marvel of the crystal the large light was made out of. The Kitsune rolled her eyes and headed towards the entrance to the next room. She didn't enter the room, but just took a peek inside. There was another pair inside this room, but they were more interested in what was on the table of snacks.
"Are you hungry?"
Sherlock had snuck up on her as she had be glancing into the next room. She turned to look up at him and he down at her.
"Well, the look on your face tells me you didn't expect me to come up behind you like that, and the fact that there's a pair of people in the next room and yet you haven't entered yet tells me that you were spying on them while waiting for me."
The Kitsune closed her fan and crossed her arms. "Well, Mister Holmes, your power of deduction has once again shown you the truth. I was indeed spying on those people in there, but in no way was my spying malicious."
He laughed. "Yes, I figured such. Now then, shall we enjoy ourselves?"
"That would be much welcomed."

Tinkerbell was twirling around as they walked and Vampire Lawyer could not help but smile. The little wand he had gotten her with the star at the end of it sparkled in the little light that the night sky offered. She stumbled a bit, her green slippers not very good for walking along the gravel. He did not jump to her aid as readily as he had been doing for the last while (though he very nearly did) thanks to her having done this several times already without falling and breaking her neck. She was being clumsy about this, but in an oddly graceful way. Graceful in the sense that she had not broken her neck yet.
The fairy costume that the girl had been dressed up in was not quite like the one seen in the Disney cartoon. It was definitely inspired by that version, however, but with more bling and detail. Around her waist were what was supposed to represent leaves. Along the edges and creating the leaf veins was a gold-colored trim. This same leaf idea was used for bracelets, her shoes, mask, and the hair decorations that held her hair in the bun.
His costume was pitifully plain in comparison. He simply wore a business suit and a wig to make his hair gray without having to dye it that color. To top it off, over his face he wore ugly Nosferatu mask that had its lips curled back in an ugly snarl, exposing its sharp vampire teeth.
Finally, however, the vampire had to grab at her arm. He gave it a little tug to pull her closer. "Stop," he said softly. "We're almost there. Don't want you to scrape yourself up this close."
She tilted her head from side to side and finally nodded. "Okay, I will stop." she uttered softly and smiled. Instead of twirling, though, she started walking faster. She tugged her partner along with her, specifically toward another couple she could see at the entrance to the mansion. "Hello!" she grinned as she called to them. She could recognize them from the movies that she had seen not too long ago. The one that they were dressed up in was one of her favorites. "Your costumes are making me smile!"
The Vampire Lawyer could not help but smirk a bit at this bold approach. At least to him it was bold. It was not the way he may have gone about doing this, but he was happy. He had been a bit worried that she would not have as much fun with the social aspect of this party. Now that he was seeing this, however, he wondered why he even had this worry in the first place.
Not wanting to be impolite, he held up his hand and waved slightly to give the other two a kind greeting. "Hello."

“I hate this song.” Belle remarked haughtily, eyes narrowed as the Pink Elephants song pulsated throughout the mansion. How the hell this old place manage staying together with a bass system like that? As she was about to tug Beast to the alcohol she was stopped by a female voice, turning to look at Vampire Lawyer and his partner Tinkerbell. Belle couldn’t help but beam at them, please that someone was able to appreciate the time, money, and effort she had put into their costumes. In response, Belle pushed her hair back to show off her jewel-encrusted mask, offering them a flashy smile.
”Why, thank you. Yours is adorable as well…Tinkerbell?” she took a guess, glancing over the costume that was obviously pulled from the film but far more extravagant. Looks like Tink had the same idea as Belle did. This didn’t displease her at all. ”Anddd…you are…” Belle glanced over Vampire Lawyer with curious inquiry, unable to stop herself from smirking. It was sure scary-looking… but nothing that bothered her. Of course, Beast had to speak up before she could make a guess…
”Pretty Ugly.” Beast huffed, scratching behind his huge wig with a scowl. Belle rolled her eyes at her grumpy partner, taking his arm still in her hold and yanking it down from his fur. She wouldn’t have her guest act like such an oaf in front of potential friends…especially at a party like this.
”Excuse him, nothing makes him smile. He’s supposed to be the Beast, get it?” Belle reached up to obnoxiously pinch his cheek before giving it a few playful pats. “Because he’s gwumpy.”
It was then Belle gestured to herself with a smile. ”And I’m Belle. Because I’m gorgeous, right Beasty?” Of course her vain words held no value to her, all said with dry sarcasm (and mostly just said to bother her partner.) Beast had no response except grumbling and glancing away in embarrassment at the two. Well, Belle had effectively emasculated him in front of the first two people they met within the first minute they were there. He was taking this as a threat to be on his best behavior…lest he wanted her to continue in other horrible ways of making him feel completely whipped.
”Well whatever you are…” Belle turned to face the Vampire Lawyer, smiling softly. ”Want to come get a drink with us? We were just on our way to the punch.

"...I think we're being watched."
"Huh?"
The Black Reaper had just put his mask back down after eating a few more of the marshmallows, actually still holding a few as if intending to take them with him if he strayed. The Black Rider disapproved of her companion's actions, but she decided not to say anything of it. "There's two... Over by the entrance." She said lowly, as she didn't really want to chance them hearing her... Though with the music she felt that was impossible. The Black Reaper looked towards the entrance to the room a little, noting two in particular (Sherlock and Kitsune) were looking in but everyone seemed to be heading for this room.
"...A little creepy I guess but it fits with everything." He finally stated, though it was almost in a sarcastic tone. The Black Reaper didn't really think they were being watched, so much as those two were going 'oh, there's people in here'... But even so he grabbed a few strawberries from the table and sort of moved over towards the wall, ignoring the small sigh The Black Rider gave. "...You could try talking to them you know. You should." She commented after a moment, stopping and watching as her companion did too. "...Well... Maybe I will." He said with a shrug, just moving more towards the table a bit.
He happened to notice though he was next to the alcoholic punch, quickly backing away... He swore he could smell it. "...A label's not really gonna help. I wonder if the person running this knows that." The Black Reaper muttered, rolling his eyes behind his mask and shaking his head a little. "...Whoever it is, is hoping people will use the honor system... And hopefully they will." The Black Rider could tell her partner was staring at her with a 'you think that would work?' expression behind that mask, but she really didn't feel like responding to it. In the end, The Black Reaper just shook his head, moving away from the stinking bowl of drink.
"This is why I don't go to things like this." He said, tilting his head back a bit to look up at his companion. The Black Rider sighed, turning her head off to the side. "Just... At least try to have a good time." She said, looking back to her friend. "Yeah yeah, I know." The Black Reaper muttered, before going about eating what he'd stolen taken from the table.

In the famous words of their current costume - Curiouser and curiouser. Who would want to live in a house that was soooo big; you'd probably get lost just trying to get to the bathroom! The moment that the patent leather shoes touched the solid marble floor, Alice's eyes widened in an effort to take everything it. Besides being big - it was kinda pretty - particularly the shiny gold thing that dangled above them, spreading light. Was that supposed to be a lamp or something - it didn't look like the lamps they had at home!?
But Alice didn't have much time to take in the grandeur of the front hall. So busy staring around the room in their excitement to see the big place, they failed to notice that they're nearly backed up to their on guest. With a remarkably feline hiss, The Cheshire Cat jumped back; holding them apart with a garish purple and pink furred glove while they tried to tend to a trod-on foot.
"Whoopsie." Alice apologized, flashing her companion a absent-minded smile. "Didn't mean to! But lookit! Isn't everything so big!"
[/b] Hiding a dissatisfied scowl behind the fanged wily grin of her glittering pink mask, the Cat simply threw her arm around the smaller companion's shoulder. This was supposed to be a party - and honestly - if Alice wanted to go run around and have their fun - let 'em. She was here because it would be stupid to give up the chance of free food, free music - and there honestly wasn't much else that promised to keep her attention. Besides, this place was a Mansion - which meant a decent night, if nothing else. So long as in the excitement, Alice didn't tip over anything on fire on anything flammable - this could even be enjoyable. "Is...Is that a princess?!"[/b] Alice squealed in delight, as she finally noticed that there were actually other people in the room, and not just vastness. "I...I think that's a princess! And looking, a fairy! There are princesses and fairies here! I didn't know that - did you know that?!"[/b] Alice's excitement was palpable, due to the fact that she was almost trembling so hard that the slight bouncy movement was knocking their white-blonde wig astray. The cat heaved a labored sigh, and attempted to straighten their attire by grabbing hold of the aptly named 'Alice Band' and pulling it back into place atop their head - not an easy feat to do in claw-tipped gloves. You could have left them at home - you were going to leave them at home, if only you hadn't gotten that little trinket.
Deal with it. "No...no princess..." She whispered to her friend, voice muffled by the plastic grin of her costume. "That's another guest...just...come on...""We coulda been princesses, ya'know." Alice chided. "I like princesses. My dress is kinda princessy -" the girl took a moment to twirl on the spot - arms outstretched and nearly batting her feline friend in the head. The light blue skirt and white apron puffed out a bit - revealing the snowy bloomers beneath, where the striped stockings ended. They stood in the corner of the food room and sipped at the punch they'd taken from whichever bowl they'd spied first. Dionysus sighed, annoyed at this whole situation. The party, the costumes, the creepy music, the fact that his annoying partner had to be there with him--it was all just annoying. He wouldn't have even come if the Butterfly hadn't made him. There wasn't a choice after she'd said that she wanted to go (there would have been no end to the complaining if he'd refused).
As it was, they'd arrived much too early and had nothing to do but bicker and stand around. They became quieter once others arrived, Dionysus just wanting to blend in with the furniture and not have to talk to anyone. The Butterfly, however, hadn't been happy with this decision and it was taking all of his persuasive powers to keep her in the corner.
His partner flounced around angrily in her long purple dress, fluttering her speckled nylon wings in annoyance. Dionysus was glad that the mask he was wearing covered the top half of his face with a stately Greek marble countenance, hiding his expression from his partner. He tugged at the golden laurels at his ears and readjusted his burgundy robes, wishing both that he could leave and that someone would come over and save him from having to talk to the Butterfly.
"Oh come on, it wouldn't hurt to strike up a conversation! Those two over there look perfectly approachable."
She was referring to The Black Reaper and The Black Rider, who didn't look remotely approachable to Dionysus. "No they don't. Besides.. they're occupied with the two at the entrance." Those two, Sherlock and Kitsune didn't look approachable either. But he knew that the impulsive Butterfly at his side would drag him over there sooner or later. At least he had punch to drink.
"Come on, what's the worst that can happen? They can't exactly start a fight, not here." She didn't know when to shut up, did she? "Besides, it's a good opportunity--" He grabbed his partner by the delicate sleeve of her lace-lined dress. "Do you enjoy being completely intolerable? The Butterfly grinned under the gilded mask. "Yes, as a matter of fact.
He knew that she wouldn't let up until he finally relented and went over to talk to someone. Finishing the last of his glass of punch, Dionysus and his lepidoptera-inspired partner headed over to the food table. Butterfly moved straight for the Black Rider, moving confidently and with all the grace her costume represented. "Why hello there, Mr. Tall Dark & Mysterious." [/color] Dionysus sighed inwardly and refilled his glass of punch, nodding apologetically at the pair in black. post count: 1 bits so far: 50 location: Room B interacting with... the Black Reaper and Black Rider

The Black Reaper actually froze a little as Butterfly addressed him, quite nearly asking if she was really talking to him... But she had said 'Mr' after all and The Black Rider didn't look entirely male. After a moment he turned to face the female, catching Dionysus' apologetic nod... Though he had to wonder what exactly it was for, and not knowing made him a little nervous. "Um... Hi." He muttered finally, blinking behind the mask as he sensed his companion moved a little closer to him. He wondered for a moment if the movement was a protective one or a jealous one, then had to pause and wonder why on earth it would be the latter.
"Hello." The Black Rider greeted, giving a small respectful dip of her head. She stayed by her partner's side, looking over the other two in silence as she tried to get used to talking to those with masks other than her friend's. She wasn't used to not being able to see emotion on another's face, and she was trying it hard not to be wary of others for this reason. She really actually liked to see the expressions of others, as it helped out with how she should proceed in a conversation and things of that nature.
The Black Reaper found he was losing interest in the Butterfly kind of quickly though, or maybe it was just that the fact he didn't exactly want to be here was sinking in. His eyes traveled over to Dionysus as he took more punch, finding he couldn't really see which bowl he was taking from... Stupid mask. "Are you taking some of that nasty smelling stuff from the alcoholic bowl?" He had to asked for whatever reason, sighing a little as his companion gave him a faint shove as if to tell him to knock it off. "You don't need to comment." She murmured, not caring as her partner was most likely rolling his eyes at the statement.
"Just a question." The Black Reaper murmured, before going and trying to start up a proper conversation. "So... You got that weird invite too?" He asked, eating the last marshmallow he had and adjusting his mask a bit. He crossed his arms over his chest, and The Black Rider could tell he wasn't entirely with the situation... But at least he was talking. She felt like that might be changing soon enough though if she really knew her partner as well as she did.

He was standing in the front room, blinking through his red mask, the hood was so big on him, sometimes he'd have to move it out of the way of his eye holes. The letter itself seemed welcoming, he rather liked the simplicity of it, it didn't overwhelm him what so ever. Lil' Red Riding Hood looked over his shoulder to his friend, a much taller man dressed in a fancy furry outfit, it made him look like a classy wolf.
" It sure is good to be welcome to the places you're invited to, right Wolf?" he asked, smiling a happy little smile.
Wolf stared at Lil' Red Riding hood, and frowned a little, pushing back the red hood that was falling back over Lil' Red's eyes, then smiled back at his friend, and nodded. Wolf turned back around from the wall, and gazed silently at all the guests who were coming in, slightly feeling wary of them all. He didn't trust them to talk to his younger friend with kindness, nor treat him fairly. Lil' Red Riding hood wasn't exactly one to stand up for himself, in fact, he'd probably just laugh it off, and then be depressed later on. Sulking in his corner of woe, but still saying he was perfectly fine. Yes, Wolf could see it all now.
Lil' Red after a belated reaction, turned around, feeling his cloak follow slowly behind him, once again, pushing back up his hood once again. He smiled again, he didn't even realize that there were people here in the big room, other than him and Wolf. A song he had never heard before started playing, making him blink, and his eyes widened behind the mask. This song, was making him feel really weird. It kind of made his ears hurt, but at the same time, he wanted to listen to more of it, it also made him think of the color pink, making him close his eyes. Not that Lil' Red really hated pink, he just didn't like only one color in his head, it made him think he was seeing in that color, even when he wasn't.
"Are you all right, Red?" asked wolf, smiling a little at his younger friend, though he wanted to cover his ears. The music...was obnoxious. He could understand why Lil Red looked like he was getting a headache. Perhaps they needed something to distract them from the horrendous music. His eyes behind the feral mask scanned the area for some one that looked nice enough to speak to. He heard his companion saying something, well more like mumbling...it sounded like he was saying pink.
The moment he said that, the song ended, and it changed to another song that he wasn't sure if he liked. Something about cutting off people's heads, and dancing till they were dead. Wolf grabbed Lil' Red Riding Hood's arm and pulled him forward away from the wall that had the not, wandering further into the big entrance room.
"Come along, Red, we're going to socialize," It took a moment for the following red hooded male to respond "Oh, but must we?" Lil Red was enjoying himself all of a sudden, maybe because he was started to enjoy the new music that was starting. Obediently though, he followed Wolf, looking through his red mask at all the potential people to talk to. He followed his much taller blond friend, stumbling every once and a while on his red cloak. "Where do you suppose we're going?" he asked, no one in particular, just so that Wolf didn't even bother responding to his question. Now then, who to possibly talk to?
Wolf scanned the area again, spotted a rather delightful looking young lady, twirling around in a dress. He wasn't quite sure, but he could remember his friend Lil Red Riding hood pointing at a character once upon a time, it was called Alice. She must be dressed up as Alice. He shuffled towards them, a good distance as to not get swatted by her hands. Clearing his throat he nodded at the two ladies, not quite certain of what the other lady was, some sort of cat.
Lil' Red Riding hood, smiled from behind wolf, pushing up his red hood again, his gaze looked from Alice and then to the Cheshire Cat "Hello, are you enjoying yourselves?" he asked, not quite sure if that was the most proper introduction, but it would do.

"Whoaa! Do you see how insanely BIG this place is?! Look! ...Come on, look!"
"I'm staring right at it, calm down."
The Devil's voice faded from behind his blood red mask, a wide and fang-laced grin covering its entire bottom half. Coming to a halt, his eyes momentarily grazing the welcome sign at the mansion's entryway. This place was frighteningly fitting for a party of this theme, he found himself thinking. There was something unnerving about it as well, something he felt wasn't just meant for the party. The Devil gave a glance to Chicken, the person he had brought along with him. The child was dressed as from head to foot in a white chicken suit, a mask with a little yellow beak covering his face from his nose to forehead. Chicken was close to jumping up and down with excitement, something that didn't settle too well with The Devil.
"Now, I want you to stay close, alright?" The Devil warned, already imagining all the mischief his partner would undoubtedly get into. He began to wonder if he should have brought him at all, sure that half his night would be spent babysitting.
Chicken looked up at his partner and sighed jokingly, folding his arms that now looked like feathered wings thanks to his costume. "I know! You told me all this the whole ride over here. 'Don't wander off.' 'Don't drink anything until I make sure it's okay.' 'Don't touch-'
"Alright, alright. I'm just making sure you were listening," The Devil said before the child could finish, readjusting the red horns he had strapped to the top of his head. His costume was incredibly simple, if not horribly stereotypical for a Halloween costume. A cape with an over-emphasized collar draped over his clothes; black dress pants and an equally dark shirt with a maroon vest over it. This was all topped off with a long pointed tail and the mandatory red pitchfork. Not too bad, for having bought it at the last minute anyway.
"Which way should we go then? Since you'd probably have a heart attack if I found out myself," Chicken asked, voice holding sarcasm as he finished his sentence. The Devil rolled his eyes from behind his mask, inspecting the three possible paths equally. "That one," The Devil spoke up after a few moments, gesturing with his pitchfork toward the first lounge room. That seemed to be where everyone was heading anyway.
"Oh! Perfect! Come on!" Chicken exclaimed excitedly, grabbing The Devil's arm and practically hopping over into the room. The Devil had to resist the urge to pull his arm back, sighing at how energetic the child was being already. He couldn't see how this would get any better, since this was a Halloween party after all. Halloween had candy. And candy had sugar. And...
"Oh my GOD! ...CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN!!!
Oh. God.
Any warning The Devil had given Chicken about wandering off completely fled the child's mind as he rushed over to the food table, oblivious to those already there as he reached for the chocolate fountain. Not with food. Or even a spoon. Just his hand, dipping his fingers in and licking the chocolate off them as if there was absolutely nothing wrong with this.
The Devil just stood where Chicken had left him, contemplating if he should stop him or just pretend the child wasn't accompanying him. The latter definitely option appealed to him the most, fixing his mask to keep his face completely covered as he nonchalantly walking up to the punch bowls to pour himself a drink. He was going to need it.

The lawyer was rather pleased that Tinkerbell's costume was so well received. The fairy was practically jittering next to him as she clung to his arm. She was happy, and that was good.
He could not help but laugh a bit as The Beast called his costume choice ugly. It may not have been too obvious, but though it did not seem like there was effort put into the costume itself, there was thought put into it at least. He pointed at the face, his smile underneath hidden by the plastic. "That's fine. I'm a lawyer. I suck the life force out of those around me." He let out a small laugh. Well, not that much thought, but he still felt silly and clever for it.
"Want to come get a drink with us? We were just on our way to the punch." Belle spoke to him friendlily after their little talk. He could feel a tension between them, but he really hoped it was not going to be too bad. Maybe he was just nervous and she was trying to make him loosen up, if a bit aggressively.
He glanced at Tinkerbell, who seemed to be happy either way, that big smile still plastered on her lips. "Sure," he said. "That sounds good."
The fairy hopped happily at that, as though she had been waiting for his confirmation before becoming completely excited about this. It was just drinks, though, why she was so excited was... well never mind, it was not too strange. Besides, she could have very well have been simply more excited at the opportunity to spend more time with these two.
He let the other two take the lead, following them to the refreshments. As they did he took a glance around at some of the others there. It was not too crowded yet, which either meant that this was not to be a large party (doubtful) or they had made it somewhat early. Seeing as more and more people were almost surprisingly rapidly showing up, he felt safe in assuming the latter.
Tinkerbell grinned at The Beast, practically shaking with excitement as they moved. Finally she could not stop herself. She reached out and patted at his fur. "So neat so neat ahh!"
