There really shouldn't be a reason why he wouldn't fit into summer camp in Odaiba. His heritage did in fact come from Japan, albeit only one-half in total, and he knew enough of the language to be able to speak to everyone here. Okay, so Tomonari was way too timid to start a conversation, but he at least managed to find his way to summer camp for one summer. But wait a minute... there was a problem with this picture. Rather, it was so obvious that the boy stood out so much. His extremely dark skin color was the most obvious, his eyes didn't have the genetics to show he was of asian heritage, and Tomonari was at least a bit taller than most people he walked by. It made things a little more strange for him, feeling as though he was getting a glance or two every so often.
Still, once he was at the camp, the camp counselors helped him get everything he needed to make this trip as easy as possible. Tents were rather simple to set up, especially after reading through the instructions like a pro. Reading apparently did help outside in the world, although Tomonari was probably lucky at this point. After some thought while sitting in his tent, the teenager made sure he had the postcards he bought at the airport, for when he contacted his parents. Oddly enough, he couldn't bring himself to just sit inside the tent and begin writing on one of the postcards. Sighing, he gathered his things, and headed out into the camp grounds. Everyone else seemed to be enjoying themselves with some activity, but that was ignored for now.
Eventually he found a stump on which he could sit down, and begin writing his note to his parents. He was quite clearly far away from home, and it didn't help that he calculated the distance between Japan and Australia, as that large of a number made Tomonari even more homesick than he was now. Shaking his head, he tried to ignore that little fact, and looked down at the postcard in his hand. A pencil was held in his left hand, having that orientation, and was in the starting position of writing. There was yet, another problem though, and it didn't take long before he sighed again, "W-What.. sh-should I write?" Everything was so confusing, and Tomonari couldn't quite grasp everything that was going on around him. This really was the country up over.

Haru was so bored. Why had he decided to come to this lame camp? Oh, yeah. He wanted to get away from his father. He wanted to get out on his own. Away from people. He wanted his freedom. He was starting to regret coming to this camp though. Did he really need to be here?
He was walking around, trying to find somewhere quiet with no people. He wandered over to the edge of camp. Maybe he should leave the camp area? No, best not to alone. Maybe he could find someone quiet to bring with him? Yes that was a good idea, then i they ran into a bear or something, he could use the person he brought with him as a distraction. Perfect. Now to find someone suitable.
He spotted someone sitting alone on a tree stump. Great. This was a person who wouldn't be missed if he suddenly went missing. He did kind of blend in with the background. He seemed to be writing something. He was mumbling to himself. That could be annoying. Oh well. He hadn't found anyone else more suitable. He walked over.
"Hello there. My names Haru. What's yours? I was wondering if you want to be friends? Maybe we could go talk in the woods? It's so noisy over here. It would be easier to talk there, and its far more relaxing. So what do you say?"

Hanako brimmed with happiness, the joy pouring over his whole soul and being. Today was a wonderful day. Nothing could bring his down in the world. Or at least, that's what he thought, after all, he was a rather optimistic boy, if not truly naive and a complete space-case. He wasn't sure exactly what brought him to the Summer Camp area, but it didn't really bother him. It was a good place to go on all sorts of adventure, plus, it was certainly a place where Hanako wouldn't be noticed, and he'd be in piece with his thoughts. It wasn't really the fact that he was anti-social, the teenager actually loved being around people, he was just afraid spacing out and accidentally ignoring them. He certainly had done that before after all. He continued walking through the camp site, almost a little timidly, like it was obvious he didn't entirely belong here, and he was guilty. Of course, in Hanako's mind. he probably thought he looked completely unsuspicious, and normal. Had Hanako been with his mother, he probably would have been clinging to her arm, like a little boy, even though he he was seventeen. Hanako was one of those oblivious boys, he really didn't understand that he wasn't quite as...mature as the other teenaged boys. In fact, he thought he was perfectly normal, and of course, we all know is not at all true, but for the sake of Hanako's innocent, we, reader, will let it slide. Hanako probably wouldn't have noticed that there were other boys to talk to or make friends with, had he not tripped and fallen on his face. "Oomf," he gasped, as he felt his whole body fall upon the dirty ground. "Ouch, that hurt, you silly goose." the boy smiled as though he were talking to someone, but in reality, Hanako was talking to himself, trying to encourage him to get back up, and not just lay there to get stepped on. Once his brown eyes lifted up from the ground, he spotted to boys by a tree. New friends! Actually, one of them looked familiar. Wasn't he the son of one of his mothers best friends? " Ah!" Hanako exclaimed happily, pushing himself up from the ground, and wandering over to the tree, just barely hearing one of them talking about leaving the camp "May I come?" Hanako asked the boys pleasantly "My name is Kirin Hanako, Please...? Please can I come with you? " he sure hoped they'd say yes, he would do anything for an adventure.

Well this was one of the consequences of having little to no life experience. Writer's block probably didn't even scratch the surface of his hesitation to write something on a simple postcard. Then again, many things were going through Tomonari's mind at the moment, and he tried to piece these things together into one, simple thought. Of course, that was easier said than done. The postcard rested on his knee, with his left hand tapping the eraser of the pencil on the postcard repeatedly. "How do I start it off? 'Dear Mom and Papa'? Or just 'Dear Mom'?", he started to think, and paused at that moment. Tomonari's relationship with his father, as much of their own faults as it was, could merely be described as 'suck'. Sighing, something else occurred that caused the teenager to stop thinking about writing for a moment.
Almost out of nowhere, to the boy at least, someone randomly came up to him and started speaking to him, and spout out a lot of things at once. Due to the sudden surprise more or less, Tomonari jumped in shock, "AAAH!" He ended up struggling to keep his balance, but after some time, fell off the stump he was sitting on, sending the postcard, pencil, as well as himself, flying. A simple 'thud' sound was made, and he groaned a little bit in pain. However, this was a little comical, to say the least. Turning around to see who it was, it appeared to be another boy, and one that obviously seemed like he fit in with everyone else. Before he could say anything, Tomonari saw yet another boy come over. Staring blankly for a few moments, he didn't know what to say, or even how to respond.
Eventually though, Tomonari reacted as best as he could. Gathering up his pencil and postcard, he stood up, and sighed once. This was pretty awkward, to say the least. Quickly, the teenager thought of something to say, "U-U-Um, er... s-sorry! I-I um, h-have to write a-a letter to m-my parents, s-so..." It was fairly obvious how much he was still freaking out, so this could be a problem in some way or another. When it came down to it, it really didn't matter that Tomonari was part Japanese, as he had never been to Japan before. He never thought about it either, although there was a conclusion to be made so far. Sure, other people have claimed that Australia is a pretty weird country, but the fact remained that Tomonari came from said country, and had a different perspective on things. Japan was weird.

"May I come?""My name is Kirin Hanako, Please...? Please can I come with you? "
Haru blinked at the newcomer. Hanako? Why did that name sound familiar? Oh, he must be that Hanako. His fathers friend's son. Now he remembered. They used to play together when they were little. Hanako had always been very spacey. Haru didn't really want to bring someone with him if they had their head in the clouds the whole time.
"Ummm, maybe next time? I was just planning on going for some quiet and to get to know someone I haven't met yet so....." Haru phrased a bit maliciously, "rein check ok?"
"U-U-Um, er... s-sorry! I-I um, h-have to write a-a letter to m-my parents, s-so..."
"Awww, come on don't be like that! Don't you want to make a new friend?" Haru laughed inwardly at this. Like he would ever let someone be his friend. "And besides, it's much quieter in the woods, maybe you will find it easier to write your letter there? I might even be able to help"

Hanako smiled hopefully at the other boys, closing his eyes a little as he did so. Poor Hanako didn't think that he'd actually be rejected from coming along on an adventure. Especially because he figured that Hatsuharu would actually want him to come along. After all they hadn't seen each other in a long time, they could certainly have done some catching up done together. Like what had Haru been doing these past years, and if he had any interests that changed. He just kept smiling hopefully and then... "Ummm, maybe next time? I was just planning on going for some quiet and to get to know someone I haven't met yet so....." His heart sank in distress and the smile faded obviously into a deep saddened frown. Oh dear. Hanako dusted himself off, looking down at his shirt, as if trying to avoid people seeing that he was obviously no longer in his great mood. Oh dear. What had he done this time? Did Hanako offend Haru in some way? He wanted to believe that it was just because the older boy wanted to make a new friend, but the tone of voice didn't sound as nice as it should. He didn't want to intrude on anything, but at the same time, he felt like he was shot down so quickly...and it wouldn't do any harm if he followed, right? Hanako was so quiet, and he wasn't at all obnoxious, or..he hoped he wasn't. The brown haired teenager swallowed a little and looked back up at the other boys, forcing on a smile, even though it was obviously trying to force itself back down. "Oh," he smiled the disappointment and sadness oozing out of that very "oh". "rein check ok?" He smiled and nodded slowly, "Oh okay then!" doubt wavered in his voice, but he tried to avoid feeling so bad. After all, Haru said that they could do it another time, right? Well, Hanako partly just wanted to follow them anyway from a far, maybe not spying on them, but he really just wanted to see where they would go..and what they might do. "U-U-Um, er... s-sorry! I-I um, h-have to write a-a letter to m-my parents, s-so..."Hanako could certainly understand that, he would want to write his parents too if he were far away from them. Especially because he'd dearly miss his poor mother. Of course, he would try not to sound like he missed her too horribly. He wanted her to think he was brave and strong. His gaze turned to Haru, a little hopeful, as though ready to say "Okay, if he's not coming...can I?" but Haru seemed to insist that the two of them go off on their own. "Oh!" it suddenly seemed to hit Hanako like a brick, but poor Hanako didn't know to keep his mouth shut "Are you trying to flirt with him, Haru?" It certainly made sense to Hanako if that was the case "Is that why I can't come?"

When it came down to it, the teenager figured it would be these two conversing with each other, perhaps for a while. However, Tomonari was bad with people in general, so his thoughts were more than likely wrong. That, and it made the boy feel even more out of place considering it seemed like they knew each other... maybe... sort of. But in any case, he was still trying to think of an excuse to get out of this, and not have to deal with anyone. It really should've been fairly obvious that the slightest thing could really make Tomonari flip out. Although despite all of the things going on through his head, he still at least made an attempt to listen, in case either of them talked to him. Then came the offer of getting help on writing the letter to his parents. "E-Eer no, i-it's just a-a short letter. Th-Thank y-you for the o-offer, but I-I'll be fine.", he responded. Hopefully that would suffice, although Tomonari's luck typically had various mood swings, and it was swinging rather rapidly at this point. Now though came the point where the boy would be utterly confused to ends that couldn't be explained with a mere sentence. First, was the suggestion of Haru, as the first boy's name seemed to be, hitting on Tomonari. No way did Tomonari understand things about dating and what not all that much, so a giant, literal question mark appearing above his head was a good possiblity. He was pretty speechless from that, and sort of backed up a bit, underneath a tree nearby. Tomonari wasn't going to just run off, as that would be very, very rude. At least, in his eyes it was. Now the next things that occurred simply defied any and all logic that science and the like had confirmed throughout history. From above, a small pool of water on a leaf slowly crept down the leaf, and hung in the air for a moment. Then, it fell to the ground, falling right in front of Tomonari. As simple as this might seem, the fact that the water glowed upon hitting the ground was totally nuts. "W-What's...?!", the teenage boy began, but his thought was cut off as the water droplets floated in the air, and began to form into some sort of shape. Some sort of device was created after the glowing had stopped, and it remained there for a few moment, before begining to float towards Tomonari, "H-H-Hold o-on! Th-That's n-not n-normal!"Without thinking though, the boy, for some reason opened up his left hand, and caught the device before it fell to the ground. Tomonari stared at it, unsure of what to say, although his widened eyes were a sheer sign that this was weirder than Japan:

"E-Eer no, i-it's just a-a short letter. Th-Thank y-you for the o-offer, but I-I'll be fine."
Haru took a persistent step towards him. "Are you sure? It often helps to converse with others to plan out the proper written outline of a letter when uncertain and hesitant on subject matter, or informative script." He prattled on about letter structure. He really just wanted to go. If only this person would come with him.
"Are you trying to flirt with him, Haru?"
Haru almost strangled the loud-mouthed boy right there and then. To suggest such a thing! Haru would never do such a distasteful thing. Him flirt with a guy! He shuddered. "Listen here Hanako. I. AM. NOT. GAY." He said through gritted teeth. "And even suggesting so is a huge insult. Now I would suggest you retract your comment and leave my sight immediately, unless you would like to see what you internal organs look like first-hand." He was surprised at himself that he hadn't done so already.
Haru's eyes widened, seeing the letter-boy pluck a device, that had materialized out of water, from the air. He inched toward the boy for a closer look. "Kakvo e tova? Toĭ doĭde ot nishtoto, go napravi narochno?" He murmured in Bulgarian, forgetting no one else here spoke his native language.
OOC: Notes: PLEASE NOTE THAT I DO NOT AGREE WITH HARU'S VIEWS. THESE ARE MY CHARACTER'S THOUGHTS AND IDEAS, NOT MY OWN. PLEASE TAKE NO OFFENSE TO ANYTHING ME SAYS.

Hanako looked curiously at the blond older teenager Haru, waiting for a reply. If that were really the fact that Hatsuharu was trying to flirt with this guy, then Hanako would accept that and leave. In his waiting he turned his brown gaze up at the tree, admiring the green of it, and the beauty of the warm summer day. The teenager was easily distracted, that was one thing for certain. Not that Hanako really noticed that others might not like that about him, he always just thought he was being observant of his surroundings. Which is never true when he only focuses on one thing, and not everything else around him at all. The trees really were pretty that summer, and he could see each little light and dark shade of the leaves. Hanako's observing of the trees were interrupted by a voice that sounded very harsh, and it belonged to Hatsuharu. The teenager had forgotten what they were even talking about until the voice finally registered into his mind. "Listen here Hanako. I. AM. NOT. GAY."Hana flinched a little, the lazy smile once more, started to fall from his face. Had he said something wrong to this older teenager? Hanako took a few steps back uncertainly, his arm reached and grabbed the other arm, rubbing the elbow obvious he was starting to feel uncomfortable. The brown haired Hanako was not gay either, but was being so harsh about it really necessary? He certainly did have a lot to learn about others and how they all didn't think like he did. It was then that Hanako noticed Hatsuharu wasn't done yet with scolding him for saying such a thing. He started to go into some pretty great detail about what he would do to Hanako if Hanako didn't apologize and leave. "Oh...My..." Hanako tried to smile, but he found himself stepping several steps back from Hatsuharu and the other boy "....How....How colourful." he tried to sound like the image of his internal organs didn't sound horrible. This certainly wasn't the Haru Hanako had grown up with, this Haru was very violent, very unpleasant. However scared Hanako was, he wasn't about to just leave, was he? His brown eyes scanned the young man up and down, curious if he had the power to harm Hanako if he refused. Then all of a sudden a very strange, beautiful and magical thing happened. A simple dew drop fell from the tree, making Hanako look up eyes following the glittering speck of water. Then...in it's place, the other boy caught it, and held out something that made Hanako stare in pure astonishment. It was deep colours of greenish blue, and it was, with out further hesitation his mind realized it was in fact a Digivice. The very same kind as the one he held in his pocket. Hanako simply stared at the teal coloured Digivice with new found awe and amazement. This boy....was destined for a partner just like he was, and just like Haru was! Oh this was so amazing Hanako couldn't help but to giggle in excitement. He started pull out his own brown, cream, and pink coloured Digivice, in hopes to show the new Digidestined that they were the same. "You see?" he asked hopefully, not sure what he was really doing, but thinking that the instant that Tomonari got his digivice it would all make sense "You're going to meet your Digimon!"OOC: Notes: Sorry, Hanako is a little strange in this post

Was staring at a strange device that defied any and all possible logic rude in any sense of the word? That clearly wasn't in Tomonari's thoughts right now, as for one, this sensation was off in so many ways he didn't have any real time to think as to whether or not something was considered rude. Last time he checked, hydrogen and oxygen molecules did not simply flash a spectacular lightshow and form into a physical device. Of course, the flashing part was possible, although that would more likely than not, be due to a bomb exploding and utterly smiting any living thing the explosion came across. From there, was the science of physics. Granted, Tomonari wasn't taught all about physics in school yet, since the basics were the only thing necessary for now. Then again, physics probably wasn't even the right science to explain this phenomenon.
A shocked expression came upon the teenager's face when he was suddenly conversed with by the much more energetic, and honestly nicer, Hanako. Looking up rather quickly, he listened to the other boy babble on while still in complete awe and confusion at the little device. Upon seeing the device in Hanako's hand, it seemed as though this boy had the same thing, albeit, a different color scheme. Things like iPhones and the like had different colors as well, so at least that part was normal. However, the rather short and uninformative explanation only increased the 'WTF?' factor, when Hanako mentioned Digimon. Trying to wrap his mind around it, Tomonari responded, "D-Digimon?! W-What a-are you t-talking a-about?!" Quite clearly he wasn't ready for this, but who was he to determine what his fate would be?
Walking back a couple steps, Tomonari slowly turned, and walked back towards the stump he previously sat on, and once again, sat on said tree stump. "I-I'm c-confused.. w-what's going o-on?", he said, his body shaking slightly to show that Haru and Hanako would have to carefully choose their words and actions, if they were to calm Tomonari down. But as his body wasn't entirely capable for most physical activities besides running, his outburst of confusion, fear, and worry tired the fifteen year old out. His body continued to shake however, and he slowly raised his right hand to adjust his glasses. From there, it was nothing more than him in silence, still attempting to figure out what would become of this.
Eventually though, a thought had occurred to him, although thankfully it was less about the device in his hands, which contained untapped power beyond his dreams. Looking up slowly, he looked between the other two boys, and gulped. Finally, the boy opened up his mouth to speak, "I-I-I'm... s-sorry. I sh-should probably i-introduce m-myself. I-I'm Tomonari Cahal." Now, his dark skin color was already a give away that he was a foreigner, but when he pronounced his last name, instead of substituting a 'r' in place of the 'l' in his last name, he fully pronounced the 'l'. It only made sense though, having been raised in a primarily English speaking country.

OCTOMON. the PROFESSIONAL PIRATE WILD DIGIMON.
[/sup][/center] Okay so, he wasn't a bear. Actually Octomon looked absolutely nothing like a bear and whoever mistook him for one was probably damn blind. But who wants a bear when you could have OCTOMON?! KING O' THE SEVEN SEAS AND THE MOST IMPRESSIVE SPECIMEN O' PIRATES (no, not the illegal downloading kind) THAT YE EVER DID SEE?
"AHOOOOOY!" The digimon shouted from the sea of trees directed towards no one in particular. This scenery was...odd. He could have sworn he was just sailing on the vast net ocean but now... well he wasn't there anymore! This ground was solid and itsmelled nothing like the fresh salty air he had been so used to. Where was his crew of Otamamon?! Where was his partner,Captain Hookmon?! Octomon may have been a first mate, but that didn't mean he deserved to be marooned on a god-forsaken... wait, this wasn't even an island! Where was he?! As the Octomon glanced around for any signs of life he was... sorely disappointed and maybe even a bit offended. WHAT WAS THE MEANING OF THIS?!
"What's tis mutiny?! Me own crew left me for dead in this sealess HELL!" the octopus roared, crawling from the forest and into the open. Once he spotted three very... strange-looking digimon (Haru, Hanako, and Tomo) the beast crawled towards them, swinging his cutlass in the air with displaced anger as he picked up his speed. "LET ME AT 'EM! LET ME AT THOSE BLASTED TRAITORS!!"played by nicknack posts so far 1 bits £50 rewards transfer to... calanthe ooc notes; I HATE MYSELF FOR THIS FOR SO MANY REASONS. HE'S NOT A BEAR. AND I'M ALREADY ATTACHED. But I hope you have fun with this Sea Dog :D I missed goofing around with Hookmon so I took it out on him. [/blockquote]

Haru was ready to rip Hanako limb from limb. This boy was so obnoxious! He was so spacey and clueless! It wouldn't even be fun to tease him; he would probably think it was a compliment! Haru glared fiercely at Hanako. He could barely suppress his rage.
"You see?""You're going to meet your Digimon!"
Haru was just as surprised as Tomonari at this statement. "What?! What is a digimon? Where are you going?" He demanded. He glared at Hanako, demanding an answer. He had almost had all he could take of this strangeness. He really just wanted to get away from all this. The last thing he needed was something else to add to his list of troubles.
He saw Tomonari shaking and having what seemed to be close to a breakdown. Haru, for once, had nothing to say to comfort the boy. Usually this was his specialty, but he was a bit confused at the moment, and he didn't want to provoke Hanako into thinking any more absurd thoughts.
Haru nodded acknowledgment at Tomonari's introduction. It was about time this boy had introduced himself. It made for an awkward company, not to know one's companion's name. Haru stayed silent though, he was still in shock of what had happened. After his first few questions he had lapsed into silence. This was not what he had been expecting when he had agreed to come to the camp.
Haru took one look at the strange monster that burst out of the trees and couldn’t hold his anger in anymore. “WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE!” he shouted, for once not slipping into Hungarian in his anger. He was about to have a heart attack from pure rage at being so confused. He threw up his hands and took a few paces back, to keep a distance between himself and the monster-thing.

Hanako gazed hopefully at the other boy Tomonari, nodding at the very timid teenager. He hoped that everything would soon make sense and he'd accept what had happened. He wasn't entirely good at explaining things, so he found he was at a lost for words. Whatever Tomonari would get as his Partner, he sure hoped they would get along okay. Even though the boy should have been paying more attention to Haru or poor Tomonari, his mind wandered off into a different direction. What would this Digimon be, what kind of Digimon would it be? Hanako had received a holy Digimon called Renamon when he first became a Digidestined. Would this boy get the very same Digimon, or would it be something different, something that maybe would be even better for him. Not to say that his own Digimon was at all terrible...it was just a thought really. He let out a quick breath of very pleased air, as though what had just been going on was so wonderful and there was nothing wrong with the day. Of course, though Hanako didn't realize it, that was probably not at all how the poor new Digidestined was feeling, in fact probably quite the opposite. He glanced at Haru , a small smile appearing on his innocent face, though no real thoughts came to mind when he looked at the other Digidestined. "I-I-I'm... s-sorry. I sh-should probably i-introduce m-myself. I-I'm Tomonari Cahal.""I'm Kirin Hanako," the reply came out of Hanako's mouth, before he even realized who said what "But I just liked to be called Hana or Hanako...." The boy nodded, smiling as though maybe someone might care about what he liked to be called and what he didn't. He looked to where the stranger Tomonari had been, but instead he found that the new friend had relocated. Oh dear, what was wrong? It only just occurred to Hanako now how concerned Tomonari must have been. After all, he was quite a normal person and was suddenly being brought into a world and a...an adventure that would be completely new. Part of him wanted to say something to comfort him, but he hesitated, glancing at Haru, now warily, would the older scary friend try to rip out his throat if he tried to speak again? He hesitantly opened his mouth when all of a sudden a new voice made him head turn: "LET ME AT 'EM! LET ME AT THOSE BLASTED TRAITORS!!"His brown eyes widened and he turned his head to take a look. What was Captain Hook doing out of his story book? He was fairly certain he was going to see a man in a long red coat and a hook for a hand, but instead...it was what looked to be an Octopus. The boy stumbled a little backwards in surprise, one hand clutching at his whistle in surprise. Was that a Digimon or just a talking Octopus? Either one seemed both likely and unlikely to Hanako at this moment. "Wh-Wh-aa?" It was hardly a word let a lone a whole entire sentence, but it expressed Hanako's confusion and panic. Was it a friendly Digimon just as confused as they were or was he an enemy? In all his confusion and surprise his legs did one thing and one thing only, they gave in from so much confusion, forcing Hanako to land on his knees. Oh this could be bad, even Hanako was aware of this, especially because his Digimon had not come with him on this walk. Of course, his confusion didn't last long, for Hanako's silly mind brought himself to a conclusion. This MUST have been Tomonari's new partner Digimon! Certainly much bigger than Hanako imagined, but perhaps just confused and afraid. The brown haired boy jumped to his feet and ran forward a few feet in hopes to meet the Digimon " Welcome!" he smiled , as welcoming and friendly as a Hanako could be.

Despite having spoken out his own name, and getting Hanako's in return, Tomonari still felt rather uncomfortable around them. Granted, it was a start at least, and this was probably something his parents wanted him to do. Although, Tomonari really wanted to just read whatever novels he brought with him the entire duration of summer camp. The only thing the teenager could muster out of his mouth was, "I-It's n-nice to meet y-you, Hanako." He didn't notice though that the other boy didn't bring up his own name. Not that Tomonari really wanted to push it out of him. If Haru wanted to say who he was, then that was how it was going to be. If not, well, that was also Haru's own decision. Tomonari sighed a little, and looked down at his little device again. Hanako didn't even say what the thing in his hands was.
But the attempt to calm down was going to end. For a moment, Tomonari could've sworn he heard someone call out from the woods at first. He might've gone crazy though, or it was probably just a counselor with some of the other campers. A talking octopus that could survive on land was not in his mind right now. His luck was just bound to act up though, as the same voice he heard was getting closer... actually, it sounded pretty close, and pretty angry. Quickly looking at what it was, Tomonari's eyes widened, and he shouted in fear, "AAAAAAAH!" The next reaction would probably be one of the greatest feats of athletics that Tomonari would ever make. Jumping up into a standing position, the boy rushed towards the tree where the water droplet came from, and climbed up it frantically.
He then held onto a branch tightly, having nearly fallen, and looked down. A giant octopus with a sword, gun, and talked as though he was from Pirates of the Caribbean was NOT normal in any sense of the word. Tomonari would even admit that a droplet of water forming into a mechanical device was more normal than this! Now the other thing that worried him even more, was Hanako's own reaction. The sudden, initial shock was fine but... HANAKO WAS GREETING IT?! Tomonari was seriously going to faint at this point, but he was going to remain awake. His attention to gripping the tree brach, which thankfully wasn't all that high up, was turned off, and the boy fell to the ground, "AAAH!" Landing with a 'thud', he ended up falling on his face, and letting out, "Oooow..."
The other thing that occurred, was that he had dropped his pencil, postcard, and device about a few inches away from him. Although these objects were thankfully in a small group, which would make clean up easy. Tomonari eventually slowly got to his knees, not sure what the octopus would do.

OCTOMON. the PROFESSIONAL PIRATE WILD DIGIMON.
[/sup][/center] What...just what kind of strange digimon were these?!
One of them shouted in anger, the other ran forward and welcomed him, and the last (and possibly smartest one) ran up a TREE! Octomon's blind rage kept him from showing any hesitance once he threw one of his tentacles to wrap around Hanako and lift him in the air over his head, looking like he was about to attempt gathering all of them up in his grasp.
He'd then sport the young boy over his head, giving him a few rough shakes without the intention of emptying his pockets or anything like that. Probably just to appear as threatening as possible to the other two. "NOW YE LISTEN HERE!" the digimon demanded in a loud, growling voice and poised his cutlass beneath Hanako's throat. It was a good thing that Octomon had been a real softy on the inside (no both literally and metaphorically) but he did not take rejection... nor betrayal well.
"Best start flappin' them lips of yers an' tell me where my blasted, traitorous crew went! OR I'LL GUT THIS HERE BOY LIKE A FISH N' FEAST ON 'IS INNARDS IN FRONT OF YE!" Well, okay, maybe that wasn't the most pleasant or convincing way of getting information. But hey! Being marooned was not something fun.
