"A.I.R.? What a peculiar name. I am not w-worried, however, I a-am never worried..." Patting off the dirt from his clothes slowly, creating a small cloud behind him. His previous place on the ground now had an imprint of his body, Agumon sighed a little.
"I am not worried either! Who do you think you are miss prissy pants? You must think you've got it all figured out, eh?!" Agumon pointing his hand toward Kazai, single claw outstretched as if to point. Hiro looking up and down Kazai's body, ever so slowly again, cutting Agumon off in the middle of his sentence.
"I wa-as right on f-first inspection... y-you are b-b-beautiful...." Taking a step back from Kazai, slowly picking up his bag that he previously dropped after she assaulted him. Slinging it over his shoulder and turning around. "S-sorry f-for bothering you... let's go Agumon." Hiro slowly walking toward the gate of the school's yard, Agumon in toe with him. Secretly proud of his partners ability to be so emotionless when he himself gets so heated.

Kazai sighed. Obviously, he wasn't going to heed her warning. To think, for once Kazai had actually been planning to help someone out. She had actually tried to give someone useful advice, and he didn't even consider taking it. This was why she didn't help people. This was why she hated people. They were so stubborn, and so ignorant. It was ridiculous. She sighed.
However, for a second or two, she noticed the way that he was looking at her entire body. He scanned her. She didn't miss it. He was rating her. It was a bit awkward, at least until he gave her the rating which he did. Beautiful. It almost made her smile. Almost. Only on the inside did she do so. On the outside, however, she remained serious. What he said only made her determined to help him out. She was going to teach him that the true reality of things was that he had absolutely no power. He was weak. She couldn't be sure of that, but at the least, she knew he was ignorant.
"Wait... I'm going to show you my Digimon," Kazai said as she turned her bag around. She reached into her bag and pulled out her Digimon, Petitmamon, who would now yawn. Kazai's bag fell to the ground.
"Gosh? What's all this commotion about?" Petitmamon would ask. Kazai let go of Petitmamon who would then hover by flapping her wings and descend to the ground a couple feet in front of her.
"These guys are compromising the safety of Digimon everywhere. We're going to teach them a lesson," Kazai explained to her partner. "They don't seem to understand the danger of true power. Power like ours."
And with that, Kazai dug her right hand into her skirt pocket and clenched her digivice within it. She held the device up into the air. The screen began to glow.
"DigiArmor Energize!" And with that, Petitmamon began to glow.
=>
"Witchmon!" The witch Digimon looked at the Agumon with an intimidating glare. She held in her left hand her broomstick and was prepared to cast whatever spell it was that she needed with her right hand. However, the first thing she would do was use her magic to create a powerful mist over the entire area so that no one would be able to see their Digimon.

"If you want to fight then we give up, y-you can wi-win I don't c-care." Agumon grabbed onto Hiro's hand as the mist set over them. Hiro didn't flinch at all and neither did Agumon. Walking toward the last known location of the exit, Hiro simply sighed slowly. He was hoping she wouldn't try and fight, he did hate to fight, though from what he could tell that was Agumon's specialty of sorts. He was a powerhouse, a true fighter and contender yet above all else Agumon was loyal and if Hiro had no intention to fight, he would not fight.
"This mist is pretty annoying, if we're going to be seeing these two more often we should carry a giant fan or something." Agumon spoke, Hiro coming to a wall. Examining it closer, it was as he expected. Without vision a human is essentially useless for navigation, barring some sort of innate ability to navigate through touch. Hiro rested his back against the wall he was just touching, Agumon doing the same. Agumon began to think, Hiro was really cool sometimes. Scratching his head slowly, Hiro sighed again in the mist still.

They were going to try to get away. To some extent, she had expected that. It was the logical thing to do when facing someone stronger, however, at the same time, she knew that he wasn't going to get far with a giant Agumon like that and no excuse for its existence. In reality, she didn't have a choice other than to fight him. Her fighting him was effectively protecting him. He wasn't going to do anything to protect his own Digimon, so she'd simply have to do it for him. It was the least she could do right now. Truly from what little selflessness she had in her heart.
"I am going to forcefully make your Digimon revert back to it's in-training form. It is for the good of both of us," Kazai explained further. With that, Witchmon had already taken off. She was looking forward to showcasing her skills in front of others. She rode on her broom only a few feet above the ground to cut Agumon and Hiro off and stop them from getting further away.
"Eeeeehehehehe! Kekeke! Don't expect to get away from us without a fight!" With that, she raised her right hand from grasping the broom and waved her hand toward the Agumon and Hiro. A powerful current of wind would pick up which would be almost like that of a hurricane. It would be strong enough to lift Agumon and Hiro off of the ground and push them down.
"Regress now!" Kazai ordered.

Hiro's ears perked as he heard Kazai speak from the mist, whispering to himself. "Located... Agumon, play dead." Agumon nodded his head and as they both hit the floor, Agumon played limp and Hiro instantly rolled. The full force of the attack was greater than anticipated by Agumon and in a flash of white light he dedigivolved into his Koromon form. Incredible speed at his disposal, a desire to protect his friend, Hiro lunged his body through the dense mist, slipping past the large hidden figure of Witchmon, who's location he also discerned and to the location of Kazai. Using the mist as cover and his already unnaturally quiet walking and breathing. Koromon still laid still, like a lump, making moaning noises as if in pain to draw Witchmon over and check on the status of her victim.
With Hiro himself hidden in the mist of his opponent he took this opportunity to formulate possible results of getting up close and personal with Kazai. Judging by her prior skill in strikes and the rate at which she attacked, he induced that even with a margin of error he could incapacitate her quickly and without much need for worry about her Digimon. Koromon began to roll and make noise on the ground.
"M-move Hiro! We have to get out of here! Wake up!" A red herring in their plans, Hiro made a mental note to tell Koromon of his good work later. Hiro closed the distance and from behind the veil of mist, toward the back of Kazai's neck his hand shot out and attempted to grab her.

"Darn it! Let me go!"
Kazai groaned. She hadn't seen it coming for her, but somehow, Hiro had gotten behind her. She let down her guard a bit too much. With this mist, fighting wasn't exactly something easy to do. Still, she struggled to get free, but he had a tight grasp on her neck. Didn't he understand that she was trying to help him? Obviously not. If he did, she wouldn't have had to fight him in the first place. Too much trouble. Boys were so stupid.
"And I guess that's enough here..." Witchmon would say. Her attack had landed, and her supernatural powers allowed her to sense the energy exhausted as Agumon dedigivolved. With this, she dedigivolved as well to conserve energy and went back to her Petitmamon form. The Mist would remain for a while though. She could estimate another fifteen minutes or so.
"What's the big idea here?!" Kazai said as she tried to pry herself free. She reached her hand up and placed it on his arm behind her back. If only she could somehow get herself free. At this point, Petitmamon flapped her wings and became airborne. She hovered in the air a meter or two away.
"Let her go! If you hurt her I'll never forgive you!"

"Y-you s-s-started this... I-I wanted t-to walk away..." His hand did not move, he began to see the smaller form of Agumon in the distance, though now I guess he should call him Koromon much like when he first obtained him. Hiro pulled Kazai back, locking his free arm with one of hers and putting pressure on the shoulder and elbow joints which could cause a hollow sort of aching pain in half of Kazai's body. Hiro could only stare at Koromon who before was playing but now, he exhausted himself with his deceit of his opponent. Using the last of his energy to complete the ploy and tell Hiro to they had to run. Hiro's eyes stayed open, slowly getting wider and wider looking up to Petitmamon.
"Y-you hurt... my only friend... this is your o-o-only friend... have you heard of Hamar-rabi's code? An eye for... an eye..." Hiro wanted to break Kazai, he wanted to destroy her limbs one at a time in front of her partner, truer sadness had never been felt by the young boy. His hands however, stopped and all at once he dropped Kazai to the ground and slowly walked toward Koromon, still laying still on the floor where they had been knocked down. "Evil... only b-breeds more ev-il..." Speaking slowly again, his back turned to Kazai and Petitmamon, picking up Koromon in his arms and once again slowly walking toward the gate that grew more and more clearer.

"Gah."
When he released her, Kazai fell to the ground on her hands and knees. Her arm felt sore from the way he had put so much pressure on it. That wasn't fun, but she could deal with such pain. Her sister caused her similar pain sometimes when she was scolding her. Still, that didn't make it any more pleasurable. She wasn't like Hiro, who could take a blow to the balls without much trouble. Kazai was weak to pain, even if she got used to it.
"Kazai-chan! Are you okay?" Petitmamon called out with a voice of genuine concern. She flew to Kazai and landed on the ground a few inches in front of her. However, she didn't know what to do to make Kazai feel better. She didn't k now anything about massaging or first aide. How could that guy not understand that she had done this for him anyway?
"Evil? I was trying to help you! You wouldn't listen to reason! A giant Yellow Digimon being seen out in public would only cause people to become more weary of Digimon. Do you really think all of the scientists and people out there would leave you with your Digimon?" Kazai asked him. The question was meant to be rhetorical. He had to know this. Perhaps he hadn't thought about it before, but as of now, the thought had to be in his mind. She had planted such a seed, hopefully.
"I'm sorry if I came on too strong," she said. It was a genuine apology. It was one of the few that she had ever given that wasn't forced out of her by her sister. She meant it from the bottom of her heart. But at this point it seemed he was already leaving. She was still happy that he had decided to let her go.
"I wasn't trying to hurt you," she reiterated. "I knew he would dedigivolve."

Hiro paused and turned around, pointing to Petitamon and for the first time a look of sinister ambition in his eyes. Something other than pure apathy, though this look was like staring into the bottom of an abyss. What untold horrors lie beyond his eyes. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children." Speaking in perfect prose for the first time, Koromon still in his arms. Looking down at the small digimon then back up to Petitmamon with the same look of horror and terror in his eyes.
"And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you!" Raising his voice for the first time, the sound clashing against the large empty walls of the school, eyes fixated on the small flying Digimon. Completely ignoring Kazai for the time, his fangs as-it-were exposed. Making sure the Digimon got the message. Looking back down to Kazai with empty eyes once more.
"I-if you want to help... t-then h-help... don't raise a f-fist to m-me and t-try and fl-flex your m-might..." Speaking again in a low stutter, sniffing hard once more. "I-if your bat touches my partner again..." Turning his back to Kazai, slowly walking away. "I will rip you apart..." The wind kicking up, billowing through Hiro's jacket and kicking up his hood, Koromon still not coming to. Looking back over his shoulder, speaking once more. "U-understand?"

An eyebrow twitch was the first response that Kazai had to Hiro's little speech."Wtf." His quote was unprecedented. It didn't sound like normal speech. It sounded like something that he had been practicing for a long time, and Kazai didn't even think it very bright. After saying something like that, what little remorse she had had about their altercation had been eradicated. Such a weird boy he was.
"Kazai!" Petitmamon called out in concern as she stood next to the slightly injured girl. What Hiro had said was the furthest away from Petitmamon's understanding. In one ear and out the other ear, the information had passed. However, this did not end her worry about Kazai's safety.
"I'm fine, Petitmamon," Kazai huffed. She then began to push herself up from the ground. It wasn't long before she had made it to her feet. The ridiculousness of Hiro's speech had already effaced Kazai's apologetic mood. She was almost speechless now. She had nothing to say to him. Well, maybe a little. She was boiling insie. Anger was rising.
"You are something else," she convicted for lack of any better description. The girl crossed her arms quite stubbornly. In any case, she was going to let him leave. She couldn't defend her point against him any more. If he couldn't understand, then he was stupid. So much for trying to do something nice for someone. She'd never do such a thing again. Surely, she'd still see him at school from here on out, but she wasn't going to pay him any attention.
"Bye."

"S-something else?" Turning around, Hiro walked back toward Kazai. His eyes looking down at her feet. Even as he moved closed, his eyes did not move from that position. Holding Koromon in his arms, he came face to face with Kazai. "Yo-you know what... I am?" He said, looking up to her eyes now with his own. The deep, vast, empty space that they seemed to create was sometimes a thing of beauty. The deep crimson red color sucked in anyone who stared long enough. What a peculiar trait Hiro possessed. "I am.. uhm.. how do you say..." Tapping his chin slowly with his index finger. "S-sorry. Yes, that is it. I am sure you're not hurt, I-I di-din't break anything." With the same index finger he gently poked her forehead. "I-I could.. get used to you... especially since you... know who I am... or, w-well you... understand..." Hiro retreated his finger back, placing both of his hands back on Koromon. Saying nothing more, awaiting her reaction in earnest.

His index finger against her forehead was creating a very awkward environment. What he was doing, she didn't know. It almost made her uncomfortable, but she was starting to get used to the awkwardness that he created whenever the two of them were together. She hadn't spent much time with him, but he was most definitely a nerd, or at least she thought so.
"You could?" Kazai reiterated. She wasn't sure what he was implying by saying something like that. Nonetheless, her cheeks would instantly turn red. She knew that it was only moments ago that he had really hurt her shoulder. She was still sore from that, and now he was telling her something silly like 'he could get used to her'.
Petitmamon would hover up into the air in front of Kazai. It was from there that the girl wrapped her arms around the Digimon, holding her like a doll. However, all the while, Kazai didn't look away from Hiro. She just continued to stare at him awkwardly without a thought of what to say.
"Is he asking you out?" Petitmamon asked genuinely. She looked up at her tamer awaiting a response. Of course, Kazai wasn't sure of how to answer that question. She assumed not. if he were, he would have picked a much better way to do it than this. Surely. Kazai just continued to stare blankly.

"Ask...ing you... out? To where? I don't f-follow..." Hiro bite his bottom lip for a moment, if only to feel the sensation of hurt. Slowly scratching his head and staring into Kazai's eyes some more. "I guess you mean, a show of affection? Some form of... kindred bond... t-two souls tied... with you? That doesn't sound bad a-at all." Leaning over a bit to get on eye level with her, his face getting closer and closer to Kazai's. His eyes opening wider before quickly pulling back and turning his eyes toward the sky now. "Y-yeah, I'd like to... ask you out... i-if that's... o-okay." Not embarrassed at all, still looking upward after having inspected her face closely on an compulsion just seconds prior.
"Y-you probably... think that y-you a-are far too... p-popular to go out with s-someone like me... b-but I don't care. I am as-asking anyway." Hiro's odds in his head weren't too good and it was unlike him to take such a gamble. He figured he would give it a try however as no one has ever seemed to understand him quite like this stranger did. Tapping his finger against his chin, patting Koromon with his opposite hand. "S-say, w-what's your name an-anyway?" Not minding how embarrassing that question is to ask having JUST asked a person out.

Kazai raised an eyebrow. Had he really just asked her out? He was so odd. She didn't understand him yet. He was so confusing. So odd. He was peculiar. if he was going to ask her out, he'd have to do a bit better than what he had done so far. She was certain about that. Still, she wasn't going to try to be rude to him. She knew how to play nice sometimes, and since he did say she was beautiful and all, she couldn't hate him. He had a very good eye.
"Yeah... Umm.... I don't think I can... go out with you," Kazai answered his question. Although the fact that he didn't even know her name didn't matter to her. She was fine with that. It wasn't very upsetting and had nothing to do with him asking her out. Thus, she would simply answer the question which had been posed to her.
"And, you can call me Kazai-chan, I guess," she said. There was no reason to be formal between the two of them. At least, not any more. Despite that, Kazai wasn't really looking to have any friends. She didn't want any and she couldn't benefit from having any of them.
"Well... I'm going to go home now. See you in school tomorrow?" Kazai said with an awkward smile. She raised her left hand and waved awkwardly as she headed toward the exit.

"O-oh... maybe... goodbye... K-kazai." Koromon was coming to now, Hiro laid on the ground, looking up to the sky still as Kazai walked away. Mumbling coming from Koromon's lips, before jumping up and ready for battle.
"Huh, what?! Where did they go? Let me at em' let me at em... wait..." Koromon looking down, noticing that it has dedigivolved into Koromon from it's previous Agumon state. Letting out a deep sigh. "Well at least we aren't dead, partner. So where are their bodies?! Did you take care of them? Man, Hiro, sometimes you can be a little cool afterall! Koromon smiled wide, a bit evil and laughed some in a comedic evil genius fashion. Hiro looked down at Koromon.
"O-oh... I asked out the g-girl... sh-she is named Kazai." Hiro's eyes turned again, laying down on the same spot still in the middle of the school yard. Koromon's mouth wide open, staring blankly at Hiro.
"W-what... do you... mean... ask... out?! HIRO ARE YOU KIDDING ME THEY ARE THE ENEMY!" Koromon began to yell, Hiro did nothing for a while, though cracking a slight smile at the idea of being rejected by Kazai.
