ok, so I noticed a few concerns regarding this brought up in the cbox, and had a couple of questions myself: 1. The reset based on grammar - I know there's at least one member here in which English is not their first language. As such, spelling and grammar errors would not be uncommon. Even for those of us in which English is our first language, it has been studied that English itself as a whole is one of the more difficult languages to master, even for a native born speaker. A key example would be the grammar errors within the Karma thread itself.
I simply think that a full on reset is a bit harsh, even if the errors are common. We are all human, and humans have a habit of making mistakes quite frequently.
2. Interchange - my question on this would be is if the karma may be used like the bits, in which they may be transferred between accounts.
3. Neutral - While the karma system is good for those who are blatantly good or bad, what about those who are in between? I'm talking about individuals (like Kyle here) who might do a good thing to get positive karma, and then do something else that results in negative karma. Would the number just keep going up and down, or would they be able to keep track of the positive and negative separately?

4. For 100 paragraph threads, is it 100 paragraphs made by on player, or is it the grand total of everyone's posts that count toward the 100 paragraphs? To try and explain this clearer, would each member get the karma if they posted 100 paragraphs between each other, or would one user have to post 100 paragraphs to get the reward?

1. Fair enough ^^ the system is still new so we didn't really that into consideration. We'll edit it to 10+ spelling errors and leave grammar out of it. Really it's meant for people to not psot leik this.
2. No, since it's based on strictly IC things. Unless you do something OOC is when you can choose where the karma reward goes to.
3. The whole point of karma is to reward people with light items and dark items. If your character is neutral then they aren't acting in ways that would earn them things like a light digivolution and a dark digivolution :3 However if you want something like a d-arc then your best bet is to finish a thread over 100 paragraphs long in total so that you may get that ±500 karma for it.
4. All members that participated in a thread will be rewarded and its the total paragraph count between you and whoever you played with ^^

I'll mention the one OOC thing mentioned too. Doing something nice for a fellow member of the forum earns +10 karma... but considering that some people are rping bad guys, I think it should be considered a +/- part of the listing.

ok, so I was reading through it again, and whether or not you absorb the data from a defeated digimon can result in positive or negative karma. how would that work for those who's partners are done separately (like Haruka here and her partner SnowAgumon) would the Karma be the same for both of them, split in half for both, or just go to the digimon?
ALSO if we're going to be rewarded for doing things for other members as well as the site, can there be a board for it? like, to post helpful hints and stuff. or maybe even just a thread somewhere that can be added to.
