Haru looked around him and blinked. This could turn into quite the mess. He decided it was just about time to leave, before they got too much attention. He glanced around and finally spotted Kudamon. He motioned her to come over. She hurried over and jumped into his arms, then climbed up and curled around his neck. Haru looked at the others, he really wasn't too sad to abandon them to with deal this mess on their own. He started inching away. "Well as fun as this was, I have places to go, things to do." He turned around and bolted away, his steps slowing a bit from fatigue due to the powder floating down from the departed digimon. "Have fun cleaning up this mess!"-EXIT- ((OOC: sorry to take so long with this and have such a short post come from it. I lost my muse for Haru.))

[atrb=border,0,true] | [atrb=width,400px] "We did it... we did it!!" Psychemon shouted triumphantly. Gravity happened, though, and she curled around Dorimon. She did not have the energy to control her fall so the two could land safely, so instead she just used herself as the little digimon's shield against the harsh ground. Of course she believed the little one could handle the fall, but she felt a sense of obligation considering she was the one who hand yanked her up in the first place. She hit it sideways and bounced up again a couple feet. Mid-bounce she found herself devolving into Nyaromon, no longer able to hug the little purple digimon to herself. She flopped against the ground in a slight daze, giddy from having won and exhausted from constantly flinging self in the air while attacking. She was not a flying digimon, she should know that by now!
"We diiiiiiid it~" she peeped, wiggling a bit. Well she was sore and tired but hey, she had something to celebrate. They actually got rid of the massive digimon, even despite being lower levels! That was an awesome accomplishment!
The insanity caused by the massive bug's presence was lifted once it retreated, leaving Laurette to slowly and tentatively relax and basically stop being so intensely scared she could barely function. Oddly enough, she found herself staring at Ethan. She wanted to cry. She wanted a hug. He was covered in iced coffee. That was her fault. She was a monster!
"M-Monseur, I am so sohrry fohr what I deed, please fohrgeeve me," she stammered out in a soft, high voice. Yes, this was the first thing she felt important to say after they were all attacked by a massive bug. She lowered her head and pulled her hand away from David's, suddenly feeling incredibly awkward. She rushed toward her little digimon, picking her up and smooshing her face against her. It was at this point that she burst into tears once more. She could not help it and she really wanted to stop. Crying was for children, as her father would say.
At least she had her special little Nyaro to hide her face against. She had not lost her. "You ahre okay, Nyahro?"
"Surrrre," the digimon gave the girl a grin, still feeling the awkward combination of giddy and tired. "That bug won't be coming back thanks to us!"
Laurette grinned at her partner's enthusiasm and glanced back at the two boys. She blinked slowly. Just two boys. Her eyes scanned the area. There were other people there, of course. Other confused and frightened individuals. None of them were that other boy and girl that had been there earlier. This caused a pang in her chest for some reason, despite not having known either of them. She had missed both of their exits thanks to her panic and could only hope that they were okay and not vaporized by that... that... demon bee!!

As they had stopped momentarily in their efforts to find somewhere safe, Ethan realized why in a rather short moment... David was worried about his partner. He couldn't blame him at all of course and he felt his eyes going to the fight as well, watching the chaos with scared eyes. Panic still throbbed in his chest as he watched the brawl proceed, and he thought that his heart was going to explode as Flymon suddenly crashed to the ground; his partner was safe in the air with Psychemon but Gigimon was still on the ground, and therefore very much in danger. While the little red in training was not his partner he still felt David's urgency and fear as the other called out to his partner, not only from his voice but also because these were the same emotions flowing through him at the moment... It was so easy to sympathize with all of them, well except for the blonde who was partnered with Kudamon anyway.
Ethan barely even noticed as David started to lead them away again before stopping, still pretty focused on the fight and feeling some surprise as he noticed a light from where Gigimon was. He tilted his head to the side a bit as a new creature rose to fight, realizing it was probably the same digimon but he had no idea what it was... Heck he didn't know what any of these other digimon were, and had Dorimon digivolved he wouldn't know what that was either. He didn't even know what this thing that was attacking them was called, figuring he would have to ask his partner about it once this was all over as well as what all the other digimon were called; he felt like it was something he should know, as he really didn't like to be unfamiliar with things that he was involved in. Since he was a digidestined the teenager very much felt that what the various creatures were called was now his business, but after a moment he had to wonder why he was even thinking about this right now given the situation.
"Sorry... lets go."
He blinked as he heard David's voice and realized he'd been in some kind of trance as he kept his eyes on the fight, coming out of it more as the other started to lead him and the girl away a little again. Ethan barely even heard the other ask if Haru was coming with them, faintly thinking that the blonde probably wouldn't be coming with them for whatever reason. He was finding he didn't entirely care whether or not the other boy came with them, not with how he'd treated his digimon before and everything... It just seemed so wrong to him, and he had to figure that everyone else probably felt about the same way towards the blonde. Maybe they didn't thought and he was instead just hoping he wasn't alone in feeling this way, since it was a little mean to not exactly have any sort of concern towards the other and wonder if they would be safe or not... Not that he wished any harm on Haru as he wasn't that kind of person but still... A tiny bit of him felt like maybe he'd deserve it. He shook his head a little though and the thought vanished from his mind, instead rather quickly having to focus back on the fight as Flymon reacted to a direct attack to the face. The boy felt himself smile a little bit, as he felt some sort of pride towards Dorimon for managing to get in an attack like that; of course without Psychemon it probably wouldn't have been possible, but still he was proud of his digimon... He guessed that maybe he should trust her fighting ability more, even if she was just a little purple puffball. This feeling faded though and his fear and panic from earlier flared up again as Flymon spoke, the threatening words sticking in his mind and making no moves to leave him; [/font] "YOU'RE ALL GONNA PAY FOR THIS!!!". It was a frightening thing to be left with, remembering what he had overheard from earlier... That Flymon had allies, either just as strong or stronger... They had been lucky to make it through this as it was, how would they make it through a fight with someone stronger?
Dorimon was presently wondering the same thing, barely even noticing the sleeping powder that was floating down on all of them; she was still bristling with energy from the fight, in fact she quite nearly sent another Metal Drop attack after the champion. However she did notice when Psychemon curled around her, finally realizing that they were falling now that gravity had decided their time in the air was over. The in training closed her eyes and braced for the impact, though she opened them again as they bounced back up and the rookie dedigivolved... She wouldn't have anything to stop her from hitting the ground this time, but she knew she could take it. The purple digimon gave a little squeak as she hit the hard ground but other than that she seemed alright, managing to stand back up on her little nub-like feet and shake her fur out a little as if to get the dirt off it.
Dorimon felt bad that Psychemon, now Nyaromon, had protected her from the fall like that since the other in training seemed less than okay. She waddled over and gave the cat-like digimon a little friendly nudge, her little stub of a tail wiggling a bit at the other's words. "We couldn't have done it without you. Thank you." She said with a smile, remembering the attacks that the other digimon had dealt to Flymon while in rookie form. Part of her wished she had digivolved like the others so she could have been more help, but in the end she supposed that she had been enough as she was and therefore her next form was unneeded... Maybe part of her had just felt like showing Ethan how strong she could be, but maybe how well she had done this time would make him realize it."M-Monseur, I am so sohrry fohr what I deed, please fohrgeeve me."Ethan blinked and finally looked away from Dorimon and Nyaromon, looking to Laurette at her apology and sort of ignoring his surprise from the fact this was the first thing she said. "Already done." He told her, his voice coming out a lot calmer and easier than he had believed it would; the boy figured that was due to the relief flooding through him at how their digimon had managed to drive Flymon off without anyone getting hurt. He felt rather exhausted from everything that had happened, or maybe that was just from the powder the bug digimon had let loose from its wings... Either way he barely felt any anger or annoyance over Haru ditching them, merely giving a faint shrug in response to the blonde's departure. It wasn't like he had exactly wanted the cruel kid to stick around, lest he decide to show them any other examples of how mean he was to Wanyamon.
Maybe he deserved that stinger instead...
He shook his head faintly again, driving the bitter thought off and wondering why he was even having it to start with and just watching as Laurette went to collect Nyaromon. Ethan smiled some as he noticed Dorimon bouncing her way over to him, though it faded into a sort of surprised look as he realized something... David was still gripping his wrist, eyes going down to the other's hand. The boy felt some embarrassment go through him for whatever reason, almost awkwardly but gently pulling his wrist from the other's grip as if he was trying his best not to cause a scene or a big deal with it. "T-thank you... I'd... Probably be dead now if it wasn't for you." He said quietly, looking down almost shyly; though at the same time he seemed to be trying to hide any shyness, with absolutely no luck though.
As his partner reached him he bent down and picked her up, hugging her as tight as he could without causing Dorimon any discomfort. Ethan didn't say a word to her and she didn't say anything to him, as if they didn't need any words for the moment and just needed to be reassured by the other's continued existence. The in training was the first to break the silence though, wiggling a little in her partner's grip so that she could look up at David properly with a blatantly thankful look in her eyes. "Thank you for holding him back." She said to him, before she seemed to settle again in Ethan's hold and close her eyes as if she intended to go to sleep or something; the fight and the sleeping powder had made her tired enough to, and the teenager holding her actually seemed kind of close to dozing off himself.
That could wait until they were home though, and he was no longer in coffee-covered clothes.
