APPEARANCE.
Ayako, by all appearances, takes after her father. With blonde hair and blue eyes, she certainly does not have the dark hair and eyes of most Japanese. Easy going, Ayako smiles easily and loves to laugh. Her hair is cut loosely into layers, the longest hitting just below her shoulders, and her eyes are intelligent and bright, only adding to her natural charm. Ayako is of average build and her features are largely understated with slight wrists and minimal curves. Her skin is of medium tone, likely from running track and playing tennis outdoors.
Typically, Ayako wears her school uniform, a white blouse with a maroon tie and a knee-length plaid skirt. When outside of activities directly relating to school, Ayako wears v-neck t-shirts of varying colors, cuts, and logos. She even has a vintage Teenage Wolves tee that she especially favors. Jeans from skinny to bootcut to flare---you name it, she wears it---dress Ayako’s lower half. On her feet are usually Chucks or flats that compliment her outfit. Being rather laid back and low maintenance, Ayako wears minimal make-up and is proud of the fact that she can roll out of bed ten minutes before school and arrive before the bell looking presentable.
PERSONALITY.
The first word that her classmates would probably use to describe Ayako would be “nice.” Though she doesn’t really care for such a brief description, it is true. Much like her mother, Ayako is a pleasant person that most wouldn’t mind sharing the lunch table with, though she feels that few of her classmates would ever take the time to get to know the real her. While she is genuinely friendly, Ayako struggles with her temper. To manage her anger (which she often blames her dad for bestowing upon her) Ayako chooses to run track or play tennis. She is responsible and loyal to a fault; disappointing someone would absolutely crush her.
The side that few see is Ayako’s mischievous nature. Loving to laugh, Ayako condones the occasional practical joke and being witty. With her friends and family, Ayako tends to be most comfortable and she will take more initiative in just about any sort of matter. It takes a long time for Ayako to develop deep and lasting friendships and it takes a great deal of investment to earn her trust. She has a tendency to hold a grudge when people wrong her, though she would never concede to being at fault. Because she is largely internal, most would never assume that Ayako would be that way, but it just goes to prove her point that people don’t really know her.
Like most teenagers, Ayako frequently disagrees with her parents, particularly with her father. Likely it is due to the fact that they are very alike, but also because he is protective of Ayako. She and her mother get along better, but Ayako shares hobbies with both of her parents. Being an astronaut, Ayako’s father is not home quite as much as she would like. Her personality is definitely impacted by her parents’ relationship and their own mannerisms. She tends to be insecure and herself and her relationships.
HISTORY.
father; Ishida Yamato
mother; Ishida Sora
siblings(s);Ishida Taodo
It was only inevitable that Ishida Yamato would marry Takenouchi Sora. Ishida Ayako was their first child and was always daddy’s little girl when she was younger. She still is, even though the relationship between father and daughter has changed since Ayako has grown older. She and Taodo generally get along, but like all siblings, they have had their moments of disagreement. Ayako loves her family despite its various shortcomings.
Ishida Ayako has always been well liked by the majority of those that meet her. With loving parents that generally encouraged every venture, she developed a love for sports, especially running. When she was ten, her father decided that Ayako should learn to play guitar even though she is utterly tone deaf and would never be able to sing along. She still plays some, but was never the protégé that she feels dad wanted. In was ushered the insecurity that Ayako often battles. The second incident was when she was fourteen. Encouraged by her fashion-forward mother, Ayako entered a beauty pageant. A beauty pageant that she could have very well won, except for the fact that another one of the contestants suggested to Ayako backstage that she needed to paint some cleavage on because she looked like a boy in a dress. Driven to tears, she locked herself in the backstage bathroom until her parents came and found her still upset. She has yet to forgive the girl, even though she moved to another school. While Ayako has learned to accept herself, she is constantly concerned with the opinion of others.
While not spectacularly intelligent, Ayako is a very good student. She is a member of the cross country team, speech team, is active in student government, and works part-time at a local bookstore. She reluctantly continues to participate in pageants now and again, but always does it with a smile. As long as no one tries to talk to her. Ayako is currently single and not looking. In the future, Ayako would like to study to become a doctor.

Another day, another dollar. When Ishida Ayako’s alarm went off promptly at nine o’ clock, she rolled over to face the wall. She was vaguely aware that it was Saturday. Glorious, glorious Saturday. No such luck, however. If it was Saturday, that meant work. While working at a bookstore was not the worst job one could have, that did not mean that Ayako wanted to go. In fact, she definitely did not want to go. She was so comfortable all snuggled up in her sheets and hugging her pillow. Just five more minutes. Just five mo---

Really?
“Ayako? Don’t you need to go to work?”
It was her mom. Great. Nothing against her, but Ayako was grown. She could very well decide for herself when she should get up. Ayako could hear her mom open the door. With a sigh, she rolled back over and sat up in once graceless roll.
“I’m up, mom.” Ayako rubbed her eye with the back of her hand, yawning.
“Alright, dear, just checking.” Her mom smiled cheerfully, but it only furthered Ayako’s annoyance. Work didn’t start for another half hour. That was plenty of time. She got up, brushing her blond hair back and out of the way and running her fingers through it sleepily. Ayako was taking her sweet time that was for sure. She pulled the grey tank top she had slept off, followed by her plaid boxer shorts, and proceeded to dress for work. Once she was finished, it was only a few minutes for her to brush her hair and her teeth, and Ayako was heading out of the apartment. At the bottom of the stairs was her bicycle, which Ayako promptly hopped on and began her ride to the bookstore two blocks away.
As soon as she opened the door, the smell of books lifted Ayako’s mood. She put of the familiar green apron and was ready for a day of organizing and selling fantastic books.
