level; ultimate gender; male rank; Harvester attribute; virus type; fallen angel
He seems blank, almost hollowed. He seems to be slow, as well, in movement and speech, always shifting along slowly as he speaks with a low, silky voice. Despite his intimidating appearance, he seems almost gentle in what he does, barely even making a noise other than the heavy thud of his steps. He does not even carry himself in an intimidating way, slumped usually, even slumped to the sides or slightly backwards at times.
Despite all of this, however, when he does get riled up, his demeanor changes almost completely. His eyes will go very wide, observing, and he will right himself, looking taller, his whole presence spreading. Oddly enough, he seems more likely to show this part of himself to those who know him better and are closer to him. Toward others he is almost constantly showing his previously explained self. Why this is is unsure.
Though he shows an almost enraged part of himself more often to those close to him, the closest to him, Antylamon and Astamon have the most respect from him. They are not simply minions that he can step on. He has pushed them and encouraged them them up until they were near his level.
He is somewhat old, surviving in the digital world for many years. He had always found the way that his world worked to be fascinating. As a young digimon he was mostly observant and very calm, watching the others play and fight and strengthen themselves as opposed to actually taking part. They all digivolved from their baby forms into their in-training forms at the same rate, but after that it all depended on them. He had started off as a puffmon and digivolved into a kyaromon. It took a long time, but he watched as his siblings continued to strengthen themselves and digivolved into rookies, leaving him behind in development. This happened two or three more times, more generations passing him by before he finally stepped in and decided to take part. He had been slowly absorbing data for while he was alive, leaving him with an advantage, but he disliked taking part in their games and benefited very little from this advantage. He simply never felt interested in their games. Not even their play-fighting really interested him.
One day he, on a whim, decided to eat an egg. It was one on the outer areas so the action was left relatively unnoticed as a lot of eggs pop up all the time. It felt wonderful. He was careful, however, and was sure to pick off only the outer-most eggs and never more than two at a time. He digivolved into his rookie form in no time, finally reaching the level that his siblings had reached such a long time ago before him. Though rather than changing into a kudamon like his evolution would have naturally taken him, he instead became an impmon. He lounged for a while, feeling satisfied with himself. It was when he learned that his siblings were already reaching new levels and moving on to new areas, some before even moving on to new levels and others he had learned had moved on almost immediately. Frustrated he kept devouring eggs. The process was much slower this time, however, and he slowly grew frustrated. One night he devoured too many and it had gone noticed. He thought he might have been safe but there were suspicions. He left, his free sources of data and strength no longer accessible.
He had found that he could not avoid interaction with others. Someone always wanted to talk, fight, play, whatever it was that involved others. He found himself going along with others, ending up in a group somehow. It seemed to be that joining up with others made it so that he was not always approached by new creatures. He only had to deal with those same digimon around him. That is, until they digivolved. They trained together to get stronger. It took a long time and a lot of work, but eventually he was able to raise himself in ranks in this group. He had to participate in their interactions in order to strengthen himself and keep up, avoiding being left behind like before. From impmon he eventually evolved into angemon. In this form he was treated differently. With an angelic appearance it was almost as if he had suddenly become a being to be idolized. Instead of looking up to their actual leaders, some of the younger digimon started to look up to him instead, finding his stoic attitude and casual determination to be endearing. With his newfound strength, he was able to prove that he was no longer a weak beginner either. He did not stop the others from looking up to him and ended up encouraging it, working better while in the presence of others. There came a point where he broke away from the original, larger group and some of the others followed him.
He found himself oddly enraged by this and killed them. This was not exactly a smart move and had him running for a while as the original group had a big idea on loyalty that it took him a long time to understand. His only goal was to become stronger so he no longer had to worry, but there was always someone out there stronger than him. Always. He kept finding new digimon that believed him to be perfectly good due to his appearance. It was small in-training or baby digimon that he cowardly attacked the most. Several times he was targeted and nearly beaten. His power of flight helped get him away from most danger, his inability to stop studying his surroundings was what helped him with the rest.
He could feel himself growing stronger with each encounter, win or lose (win growing more at a time, of course) and could feel it reaching that peak that it used to be easier to reach. This was a LONG time that this took to even begin to occur, especially since he preyed upon much weaker creatures than himself, rarely taking risks. He would bring himself against such young digimon that it would not even be a fight, he could simply pluck them from their lives and devour them. It was a near fatal fight with a digimon of similar strength, however, that caused a big change in him. Wounded and near death, he had finally defeated his foe. It was amazing, and he could feel himself feeling victorious despite his many wounds. He had just taken down a creature that nearly killed him. After such a long time of plucking off weaklings, he had ended up killing an elite (though they met by accident the result was still the same).
The other digimon died laughing at him. Then, with the strength gained by the other, he digivolved into his current form; NeoDevimon.
• Stun Claw – Gathering energy from himself, his metallic claws conduct electricity, strong enough that if hit right it could paralyze enemies temporarily. • Guilty Claw – Claws and arms extend many times their length to stab through enemies, not only causing physical wounds but pumping in emotional pain in attempts to cripple both the mind and body. • Deep Sorrow – Uses his wings to stir the wind, unexplained negative emotions striking those who feel the icy gales, slowing enemies or possibly freezing them from sheer emotional despair.
