Many years ago, it rained. And it had rained harder than it ever had nearby Dragon's Eye Lake. There was the constant rush of the downpour going into the water that swallowed the sounds of the smaller droplets running from the leaves and into the puddles. The air was grey and cold, the fog rising from the rain ready to envelop any that dare came near it.
The silhouette of a giant stood within the lake, head dipped as the many ripples gently brushed against her waist. Its body appeared heavy with water, lurched over as the small beads of rain gently rolled down its form. It was cold... but the cold never really bothered Antylamon. The brisk air kept her alert and yet relaxed her all at the same time.
It was rare when she had time to herself, time to contemplate and worry. Her face was becoming numb from the cold rain, unable to smell or see very well anymore. But she knew something was nearby, something interesting... that tiny hint of warmth within a storm like this edging near her with a tinge of youthful curiosity.
The rabbit-like digimon turned her head to see what was coming near... something hidden within the mist. "I'm not in the mood for games." she spoke, her voice as shaken and cold as the storm. That aura whatever it was giving off... it reminded her of a child. And for a moment, there was a bit of hope that the digimon had that it had been her child.
However, the scent of a digimon came through the cold - and she knew very well that this hadn't been a human at all. If it were and if it had been with a digimon...
She wouldnt' let them live long.
"Show yourself..."

S A L A M O N X It happened so long ago.
The day CerberumonX escaped death by luck as a simple Gigimon; how he had ravenously devoured his attacker’s data, the data of someone he had once respected. How NeoDevimon found him then, gluttonizing, and watched him in his foolish and desperate bravery. Watched him eat, and eat, until there was nothing left and he was digivolving, growing stronger, but still so very weak…
Getting grabbed. Getting threatened. Becoming forced to give up his freedom in exchange for life. For not being eaten alive.
And later that day, those many years ago, a tiny battered SalamonX ran to keep up with his new master. It had started raining as they walked, and the little holy dog found the weather reflecting his mood far too well. His body was drenched and freezing from the water; it poured into his eyes even when he ducked his head low to try and keep it away, making his mood worse than it already was. The only upside to the weather was nobody would see him crying.
They reached a forest at the edge of a huge lake. SalamonX had to fight curling into a ball as he looked up at NeoDevimon for a command or a cue, but the digimon didn’t seem to be paying attention to him as the he looked out over the horizon. Then, suddenly, he told SalamonX to stay there and left him there in the rain.
SalamonX was too frightened to disobey. He stood there in the frigid rain until his body began to go numb; he shut his eyes to try and shut out the sensation but that only made it worse. His chattering teeth were loud in his head and finally he couldn’t help but run for the shelter of a tree. His stride was stiff with cold as he ran along.
Was this some sort of test of endurance? Of loyalty? Had he failed it, and did that mean he would be eaten? SalamonX couldn’t help but let out a little sob, confused, frightened, and overwhelmed from all the bad things that had been happening to him lately one after another. He couldn’t stop shaking. Blearily, he started trying to study his surroundings to make plans for escape if he WAS attacked in the end, determined to continue the struggle for life no matter how bleak his situation was. He froze at the sight of something out in the water.
It looked like a digimon—a huge digimon. It just stood there, still as stone, like the rain had frozen it completely. The sight was so strange that SalamonX began to approach the water’s edge despite himself, his youthful curiousity getting the better of him. He figured that if he kept out of sight he’d be safe from the thing; besides, it didn’t look like it was alive.
Then it turned its head to stare at him.
SalamonX went rigid, holding his breath with terror. This digimon could easily ensnare him and kill him, like most big digimon seemed to want to do. He jerked his gaze over his surroundings again, desperate for any chance of escape.
“I’m not in the mood for games.”
SalamonX jerked his head back when the digimon spoke—it… she… sounded cold and angry. He hunkered down, shaking badly, waiting for her to come at him and crush his tiny body like nothing.
“Show yourself…”
SalamonX blinked, holding his breath again, but this time to stay as hidden as possible. He forced himself to stop shaking and eased himself under a leafy plant. She didn’t know where he was. He still had a chance of living. If he managed to stay hidden until NeoDevimon came back, he might live to see tomorrow.
Please don’t find me. He begged silently to himself, Oh please don’t find me…
