"GO!" The moment those words were spoken, the Alraumon .. took it easy and jog towards the finishing line. All things considered, she was heavy compared with the almost weightless baby digimon living there. Back in the distant past, it was only joy and games here, rolling and safely walking and jumping around this soft area. However, most of digimon multiplies a lot their weight when they evolve into rookies and she could no longer simply walk on the fluffy floor effortlessly, now her legs sunk a little on the ground with each step and the same was for the human girl. What's more, abruptly jumping on the floor would cause her to be bounced away and lose her route.
"Now this is the time for a little speed up"
Fortunately, as long she didn't try too hard she could effectively run. All she had to take care was about not getting her roots on her feet and the ivy in her hands get stuck in the bed-like floor fabric. She hadn't seen yet where was the Tokomon, but if he wasn't in her visual range, then maybe she got to leave him behind ... hopefully, or maybe he was somewhere else, maybe ahead, maybe next to her. Her whole focus was in controlling her speed and the way she walked, so she didn't really pay attention to the whereabouts of the little and soft baby digimon.

Irene was like a small statue. Her marble shaped eyes followed the two digimon. Well that's funny why didn't Tokomon start? Her thought faded when her partner started scurrying to the other side of the track. She didn't laugh or even utter a giggle, she only watched. Tokomon moved his little feet at a moderate pace. He had almost forgotten about the fumble he had back at the starting line. It wasn't long until he fumbled again. This time his long ear was caught by his foot and he rolled. No, no no, not again! The small digimon tried to regain control but instead he bounced off course. Not what I had in mind, it was a lot better in my head. Tokomon figured he might as well finish the race. Irene frowned a little as she watched her partner stumbled again. Her thoughts came to a conclusion, to comfort Tokomon after the race.

Things were going smoothly from the Alraumon's side of the story. Paying attention to the environments and keeping a constant speed worked at the end and while she wasn't really going fast, at least she wasn't stumbling or tripping and stayed in the course.
However, something unexpected happened as a strong gust of wind threw out of balance one of those towers made of toy cube plushes and they become an obstacle that the plant digimon couldn't avoid. In fact, she crashed with one of those cubes and bounced away, falling on her butt, astonished by just how soft and bouncy those cubes were.
"Those cubes don't hurt, but they can be bothersome."
Despite how that would delay her progress, she pushed outside the road those cubes and continued racing towards the finishing line. The end of the course was quite near and anyone of the two digimon could win the race.

Tokomon watched the other digimon land on the plushy landscape. He trotted by and made sure that he didn't trip a third time. The small digimon slowed his pace. He didn't want to stumble when he finished. I should probably let her take the win.Irene still kept an eye on the two but mostly on her partner. Her lips started to twitch a little. All of a sudden a loud, and rather shaky, squeal escaped her lips. " Come on! You can do it!" Those words of encouragement backfired. Irene was going for something else instead of 'you can do it'. And the fact her voice made a bizarre sound, she felt a little humiliated. Her partner held in a small snort. Nonetheless it did perk up his mood. The little pink digimon hurried to the finish line, before he did his eyes focused on Alraumon who was a little farther than him. " Ladies first." He chuckled, Tokomon couldn't say anything else because talking while running wasn't the best combo for him.
