Did he really need to be constantly worried like this? It was as if Renamon, didn't trust his own world. Okay, fine, he didn't, but it couldn't be healthy for a Digimon, especially in a location like this. From what the yellow fox Digimon could see, it looked like a wonderland for young Digimon, or human children. In fact, it pretty much was, the land they had just entered, as Renamon could recall, is a place called Toy Town. Now, the yellow monster had never bothered to pay a visit here before, and thus, despite the cheerful appearance.....he was still unnerved. His crystal blue eyes looked around the town carefully, it wasn't the cheerful look that bothered him, nor the toys scattered around. This place, was pretty empty to Renamon, and he couldn't help but to feel danger was lurking around any and every corner. This, the fox found, much to his dismay, was not at all how his human friend was feeling. Hanako, a childish teenaged human, could find joy in just about anything it seemed. This was always bringing Renamon to nearly pull out his fur. Because he felt it necessary to keep a constant eye on the boy, and for someone who seemed they might be lethargic, Hanako was not. Hanako was smiling, clearly amused by the colours and the mere fact that he was actually in a place called Toy town. He spun around in circles, as though he were dancing, or just trying to make himself dizzy. The first one was more likely, Hanako, after all, did not like getting dizzy. This spinning, of course, didn't last long, because he stumbled, and stood, barely catching his balance. Oh dear, Hanako's head stared to spin, and he was pretty sure he saw two Toy Towns spinning around, rather than one. "Hrmmm...." he whimpered, closing his brown eyes, only to yet again stumble. Once his eyes reopened, he found that everything was back to normal, making him smile. He turned his head around the town, now who else was here, and did they possibly want to do something exciting for him? All he saw was Renamon, and he wasn't quite certain his friend was even paying attention to him. Perhaps Renamon was having a day dream, well whatever it was, the teenager didn't want to bother his Digimon...so he'd just have to find someone else....if there was anyone. Quickly Hanako shook his head, he needed to think happy, he was in a place called Toy Town, after all, it was a dream come true! Minus the following madly in love with a princess and living in a castle, he was still waiting for that one. "Renamon where is everyone?""That, Hanako, I do not know..." Replied the yellow Digimon, he sounded distracted for some reason, that Hanako couldn't understand.

What looked like a few miles of forest, then water - nothing but water. Standing on the ledge along the outside of Toy Town's tallest building, the town clock tower, that was all Ryusuke could see in the direction that BlackGabumon had referrenced earlier when he, Monodramon and Renamon had finally managed to catch up to Valus and, as luck would have it, another human - a good thing, too, as Valus had, as usual, proved to be of no help at all. Rather than immediately leaving the town and blindly heading in the direction that the dark colored digimon had specified, though, Ryusuke had figured it was a good idea to be better safe than sorry, and instead had sought out the tallest building he could find. The clock tower, while only something like three or four stories tall, was still much higher than the surrounding buildings, and unlike the terrain to the north and northeast, the area north west was not mountainous at all, but fairly level. For once Ryusuke had been feeling outright optimistic since ending up trapped in the digital world, only to find that once again things were not going to go according to plan. His effort wasn't all for naught, though - while he saw no sign of the tower or pillar Shion had mentioned, he could now see that apart from a few miles of land to the west, everything beyond it appeared to be ocean, making heading in that direction more or less useless without a specific destination in mind. To the south east, though, was finally a landmark that Ryusuke could use. While he'd caught glimpses of it in the desert from time to time, the mist and trees from where he'd first arrived, dunes in the desert and numerous buildings in Toy Town had made it difficult to spot from ground level - this high up, though, the sheer size of the mountain made it impossible to miss. While it wasn't much, he at least had two landmarks he could now use to navigate by, and an idea of the surrounding landscape.... still, however, no means of getting home, though.
As he glanced around one last time a gust of wind blew past him, catching hold of his hair and red duster and nearly threatening to pull his small frame right off of the side of the clock tower. Pressing himself up against the wall, Ryusuke waited until the wind passed him before beginning to move again - staying up there wasn't exactly safe, and he'd done what he needed to do. Turning to face the wall, Ryusuke began edging along it before dropping down a short distance to the slanted roof below him, sliding down that before using his prosthetic leg to brake himself at the edge of the roof with the gutter and denting it with the impact - below on the street, Monodramon watched nervously, not exactly comfortable with his partner moving so fast. Flipping around back onto his stomach, Ryusuke edged over the gutter to repeat the same maneuver he had with the clock tower ledge, wincing as another sharp pang shot through his right shoulder before finally landing on the street again. As he dusted himself off with his gloved hands Monodramon began to approach Ryusuke, the teen putting his left hand to his right shoulder and yet again feeling through his clothing for anything that felt wrong. At this point the idea that the injury he'd sustained before would heal on its own was beginning to fade away - while the pain had dulled and for the most part disappeared, the fact that it was returning whenever he did even the slightest thing to stress it began to make Ryusuke fear that the damage might've been permanant. Unable to find anything wrong with his shoulder yet again, Ryusuke lowered his left arm to his side and turned to face Monodramon who was patiently waiting behind him.
"Good news?" Monodramon asked, unable to read Ryusuke's expression.
"Yes and no. No sign of the tower Shion mentioned, but at least I've got a couple of landmarks to go by now. There's what looks like an ocean to the west, though, so I don't see heading that was as a good idea unless we know where we're going. Any idea of where Renamon went?" Ryusuke replied, putting his hands into his pockets as he looked down at the digimon, a sensation he still couldn't get used to - bluntly put, not many people were shorter than Ryusuke, and even most of the digimon they'd run into so far had towered over them.
"She was here a second ago." Monodramon said, shrugging as he gave Ryusuke a perplexed look.
"But why would heading west be a bad idea? There's ocean to the east, north and south too. File Island is an island, Toy Town is just on the western side of it with Infinity Mountain in the middle." Monodramon added as Ryusuke began walking towards the middle of the street, the little dragon following him. As soon as he spoke, though, Ryusuke stopped cold, making absolutely no movement as several seconds of silence passed between them until Ryusuke brought his right hand up the pinch the bridge of his nose, closing his eyes and immediately regretting the action as his shoulder throbbed again.
"....................... you've known where we were the entire time?" Ryusuke said, lowering his arm and opening his eyes as he looked back over his shoulder at Monodramon, squinting in irritation at the dragon. While Ryusuke had gotten to the point where he would freely admit that Monodramon's dedication and sense of loyalty was beginning to grow on him, it was at times like this that the little dragon's slight lack of common sense brought back the irritation Ryusuke had felt when they'd first met. While Monodramon did try to be helpful, it was information like this that would had proven extremely useful from the start, and while Ryusuke recognized that it may had been common sense to Monodramon who'd likely lived here all his life, to Ryusuke it was need to know information.
"You didn't?" Monodramon said, openly surprised at Ryusuke's lack of knowledge. how could someone come to the digital world and not know where File Island was? Even though he hadn't ever left the island himself, Monodramon himself still knew of Server and a few of the continent's points of interest.
Ryusuke mentally facepalmed as he continued to stare over his shoulder at the small dragon with a slight squint of irritation, the digimon shifting uncomfortably after a few moments before movement a few hundred feet down the street caught Ryusuke's attention as two individuals began moving across an intersection in the roadway. Ryusuke's eyes narrowed even further as he tried to make out who the figures were in the blinding sunlight only to have his eyes snap back open in dumbfounded surprise as he recognized his cousin and Renamon, thinking that the one he'd been travelling with had somehow met up with the other human before remembering that Hanako's partner was a Renamon as well. Pulling his hands out of his pockets, Ryusuke immediately broke into a dash as he began to head towards the familar face down the otherwise empty street, Monodramon stumbling for a moment in confusion before moving to follow him at a slightly slower pace.

Renamon indeed was not anywhere near Ryusuke and his Monodramon at the moment, going a bit forward to scout ahead as the trio were leaving the city. She didn't seem in mood to be around the two anyhow... Ryusuke was, well, his mind was mostly on getting home, and he was frustrated with not finding directions... As for Monodramon, she didn't pay him much attention anyhow. Not that she disliked him outright, but ... she tended not to notice he's there, he never did anything aside from periodically saying something worthy of a facepalm and nudging to fight. A placeholder, nothing more. Renee never thought she'd think that of someone. Either way, they didn't interact much.
And besides... she had her own things in mind which didn't quite correlate with the boy or his digimon. She was wholly focused on their last encounter with Valus, sadly unable to put it behind her for now and focus on other things. She was ... thinking. And trying to figure out... She had a lot of things to consider... A lot of possibilities to think about. All of the above could be summarized into one question. What to do?
She was distracted from finding an answer to that question when she saw two silhouettes approaching from afar. She was the first to spot them, but did not let herself spotted. Because ... one of silhouettes was clearly human. Humans... She was unsure about them. They could be working for AIR, or they could have bought their digimons. No? But the digimon itself surprised her...
It was ... another Renamon. It was surprising because she never saw others of her kind before, or, at least, didn't remember... But sense of kinship was not unknown to her - she would hate to know someone of her kind would have been enslaved... But she would hate to hear any digimon subjugated to such fate... Still ... should she approach them? Decided to play safely this one...
Appearing behind the boy in standard renamon fashion, she leaned down a bit, closer to his ear, and whispered to him:
- One ... human ... one ... digimon... Ask ... if from AIR, we should... - unlike Ryusuke, she knew these not, and her obsession with finding the organization was getting the better of her, as she shot a glance towards people that were approaching...

Hanako was silent for a moment or two more, staring at his friend thoughtfully. He always managed to seem troubled by something, that much anyone yes even Hanako, could tell. Though, by what, he couldn't fathom, after all the boy had never visited the Digital World as often as he could. This meant, that Hanako was mostly oblivious to the lands, which was saying something, because the boy, was mostly oblivious to what could happen in his very house. The tall fox glanced at Hanako who was still staring off into space, and smiled, reaching out one white paw to scruffle Hanako's head playfully. He of course, was not at all relaxed, but he certainly didn't want to bother the boy with his worrisome thoughts. The boy of course, took the scruff as Renamon being okay now, and was once more smiled, and danced around his friend. "That's a good boy," smiled Renamon with just a mutter, addressing Hanako's playfulness as though he were a dog, and not a 17 year old human male. Once more they were silent, with the occasional Hanako humming something out loud... or talking to himself about something that was of no great importance. Which, to Hanako, was very important to him, though no one else would understand unless they were in his head. Even Renamon was trying his best to ignore the nonsense that came out of his partners mouth. "I wonder where everyone is..." Hanako muttered, making Renamon's tail swish from side to side thoughtfully. It was awfully quiet in this town, as stated before, and Renamon was certain that they might have at least met Monzaemon by this time. Monzaemon was a gigantic teddy bear that watched over his town, and was generally very friendly to visitors, or so Renamon had heard. The Digimon then sighed, it sure would be nice to see the bear at least once, that way he could be less worried, knowing the person in charge was here. Surprisingly enough, it wasn't Renamon who noticed it first, but Hanako, who was toddling off ahead of his Digimon just a few feet. He was trying to keep his feet from touching the cracks, when he lifted his eyes and saw two figures or more in the distance. "Aha," he exclaimed happily, brown eyes instantly lighting up with playful passion. There were people here after all! He whirled his head around him to look at Renamon, quickly breathing some brown hair out of his way "Renamon, is that people I see?" or was he just imagining it? The Renamon's ears seemed to perk up a little at the mention of people, and he looked in the direction Hanako was now gesturing lazily with his hand. For someone so energetic, Hanako had such lazy movements, the Digimon noted, but shook his head. This wasn't important right now. Yes, in fact there were beings, which made the Renamon instantly jump in front of his partner. Though the hostility was almost instantly gone, when he turned his head to Hanako "Isn't that your cousin, Hana?" Hanako's eyes once more seemed to brighten once more "Ryusuke? Is that you?" he called out, waving his hand, just as lazy as before. He knew that he hadn't seen his cousin in quite some time, could this have been where he was whisked away?

Entirely focused on his cousin, Ryusuke was considering waving as he ran and shouting out but quickly saw that he didn't have to - to his surprise it was Hanako that spotted him, not his partner, although Ryusuke wasn't sure whether to put that down to his cousin actually paying attention to his surroundings for once or dumb luck. It made things quite a bit easier for him, though - shouting would have attracted attention, and while he was reasonably sure there was no one else around Ryusuke didn't want to test his luck, especially after his last week. In all honesty the emptiness of the town was beginning to unnerve him, and he wanted to leave as soon as possible.
Grinning as he put on a bit more speed, Ryusuke nearly stumbled face first into the ground as the Renamon he'd been travelling with seemed to appear behind him out of thin air - yet another new trick he'd have to get used to, with Monodramon nearly crashing into Renamon's legs from behind. Catching his balance just in time to keep from plowing his face into the ground with Monodramon likewise correcting his course, glancing over at the other digimon with a look of confusion.
"You're obsessed, you know that? Hanako's my cousin, he's not like Valus. If he were he'd be the worst slaver alive, his partner would be gone within the day!" Ryusuke shouted back, briefly looking over his shoulder as he brushed off Renamon's suggestion. As he focused on the other human digimon pair several meters ahead of him he had to admit that he was becoming increasingly worried about the scarred digimon's obsession with the organization. Disagreeing and even wanting to fight against a group like that was understandable, but making it the sole reason for you existance as she seemed to be doing was the sign of a diseased mind. Monodramon was enough of a handful already, but while he seemed to becoming more accepting of the idea that they weren't going to fight everyone they came across, Renamon seemed to be shifting towards the opposite end of the spectrum.
"Yeah, it's me! How'd you wind up way out here?" Ryusuke called back in reply to Hanako's query, slowing his pace down to a walk as he got closer to the other pair, Monodramon right behind him and focused on Hanako's Renamon partner. While Ryusuke was more or less focused on his cousin, Monodramon was noticing the small differences between this partnered Renamon and the one they were travelling with, and it wasn't the scars he was noticing. It was strange, really - while he'd gotten the feeling that the one they'd been with up until now was rather docile, the feeling he'd gotten from her had changed in a manner so subtle that he hadn't noticed it, and thinking back on things he couldn't remember where. This partnered Renamon gave off the same feeling that the other one had when they'd met, but now that he was able to compare her to another one he finally noticed that she gave off a much more..... brutal feeling than before, like she wanted to pick a fight. Normally it was a feeling he could appreciate, one that would get his blood flowing in anticipation as well, but here and now it made him feel uneasy. It wasn't until a few moments later that he realized he was staring, though, and abruptly changed his point of focus to one of the nearby buildings in the hope that the other digimon didn't notice.

The humans knew each other? Well, that did take off much of Renee's suspicions considering the person approaching - she did trust him after all. They have been together for some time now, and she knew for a fact that he shared her feelings ... to some degree. She never expected him to fully understand, however. It was not his kind that was enslaved. She imagined he'd act differently if the matter was about humans and not digimon...
But ... was she obsessed? Or wasn't she? She was. But ... was it bad? To feel for her kin, and to try doing something? And to expect worst? Ryusuke was the one who knew the human, she did not. How was she supposed to know from first glance who can and who cannot be trusted? Before... Renee expected only best in people. But now ... how do experiences change people... And besides... what else she had to do? Before, when said she was obsessed over something, she'd apologize continuously... But now...
- Obsessed? Shouldn't ... I be? - a short question came, but it would probably remain unanswered - the other two approached, the renamon giving them a somewhat scanning glare... The human... Yes, Ryusuke had a point. He ... didn't give an impression of a bad person. Maybe it was the absent and childishly happy face expression... Maybe something else... Didn't matter...
She was more interested in the digimon, to be honest. Mostly because ... well, they were of the same kind. She never saw one of her kin before, however, there were differences. This one was yellow, not gray, like her. His body was in shape it was supposed to be - no disfiguring scars, no signs of malnutrition or anything like that... Was she envious? Probably... Probably... But was she supposed to stand behind and make a serious face like that? Seriousness wasn't the thing she was able to successfully project at all times... And she did feel awkward about meeting new people, so ... the best thing she could say was:
- ... Hello...

Renamon blinked for several moments at the others, feeling a little strange that he was standing so defensively in front of his partner now. He had certainly thought that there was going to be trouble...but...none at all, in fact as it turned out, the small human was in fact the Ryusuke boy. The fox relaxed obviously, and stepped away from his partner, all hostility lost, and the will to fight anyone who challenged was gone in an instant. Instead, a small smile appeared on his face, glad to see that he wouldn't have to fight anyone after all. Hanako was still waving lazily, a large smile on his face, as he usually had when he was particularly excited about something. Which he was! He was very happy to see that his cousin was here of all places. The blond boy had been gone for a long time, Hanako had noted...and by Hanako noting it, it was really Renamon who had brought it up one day. "How'd you wind up way out here?" Renamon shrugged his shoulders and pointed his paw at Hanako for it was, remarkably, Hanako's idea to come here in the first place. Hanako was certainly obliged to answer, walking up ahead of his Digimon to meet his blood-related family member with one of those oh so innocent smiles of his. "Ah. Well. It was my idea," he smiled a little shyly, lifting one hand to rub by back of his head "Just looking for a little adventure everywhere I go I suppose..." He was about to continue when something was brought to his attention. Renamon was the one to carry on the conversation with Ryusuke, bowing down, one arm crossed over his chest, gracefully to the human " The real question is. How did you get all the way out here? Quite the coincidence to be running up with you and ...," he paused to look at the companions that had been with the rather short human. A Monodramon staring off at...something, it had only just occurred to Renamon that this could very well be the purple thing they had encountered not so long ago. " Monodramon." he nodded politely at the reptile before his blue eyes landed on the other Digimon that was with Hanako's cousin. This was most certainly not a reptile Digimon, in fact, Renamon knew exactly what this other Digimon was, though she looked very different than him in appearance. She was a Renamon, much like himself, but her fur was dull and rather battered, with what Renamon realized with slight horror, was scars. Now who could do such a horrid thing? Who had the audacity to bring harm upon might might have once been a beautiful Renamon. "... Hello..." Renamon's eard perked forward for several moments, until finally a warm smile appeared on his face. She was, after all, one of his kind, though dull in colored and battered in scars, there really was no need to be rude to her. Again the Renamon bowed, this time much lower than he had done with Ryusuke "Good day Miss, I don't think I've had the pleasure of introducing us. I am a Renamon, and here is my partner Hanako Kirin." At his name being mentioned, Hanako's attention fell off of one of the toys he noticed staring in his direction and looked back to his group. For a moment when Hanako saw the female Renamon he had thought that he had spaced for a good few years, and she was HIS Renamon, only it was his future self, now dull and covered is scars from many battles, but much to his relief, his yellow Renamon was standing besides him. This, no this was a woman realized he, and she was certainly something that Hanako had never seen before. She was simply to Hanako... "You're beautiful." said Hanako to the female Renamon, a shy smile on his young face. This had taken his Renamon by surprise, for of all the bold, and sudden things to say, he hadn't expected Hanako to bluntly tell her that she was attractive. Hanako kept quiet now, studying the girl Renamon, yet again Hanako realized something that everyone else probably already noted before him. There was a great deal of a difference between the feel of a partnered Digimon and this Renamon. Almost feral. Ofcourse, Hanako had no way of knowing this, so in an instant, the boy was smiling, and the thought was quickly discarded, never to be really thought about by Hanako again. "So Ryusuke..." Hanako said smiling "Why are you here? Did something special bring you here by chance?" Renam had already asked a similar question, but Hanako had no way of knowing this, so he had to ask anyway "and and...how did you end up with two Digimon?" Well that was a new question REnamon could appreciate, for he too was curious now.

Hanako, of course, remained his usual spacey self - while perfectly intelligent and otherwise able, his cousin had a knack for, simply put, living in his own little world. Ryusuke liked and respected Hanako, especially as family given that Hanako was the closest thing he'd had to a sibling growing up until Arya had moved in with him and his dad, but Ryusuke didn't particularly appreciate the utter vagueness of his answers, and despite the fact that he knew Hanako meant well by them Ryusuke simply gave a rather blank stare back, one that clearly said "you haven't changed". Even Monodramon gave up his pretense of looking elsewhere to look at the other human with a mixture of both awe and skepticism at the boy's overly carefree nature. While it wasn't nearly as dangerous as it had been years and years ago, the digital world wasn't nearly as safe as it used to be, either. Those who weren't careful tended to end up hurt, absorbed or reconfigured, and Monodramon had to wonder how the boy's partner maintained his sanity - had he been in the second Renamon's place, he'd be worrying over all hours of the day that this kid would somehow wander into the side of a building because he was looking elsewhere. As Hanako's partner spoke, though, Ryusuke at least was somewhat relieved - unlike his human counterpart, the digimon partner at least seemed to be paying a great deal of attention to his surroundings, and would probably be easier to talk to than Hanako would be.
"Funny story, actually." Ryusuke said in response to Renamon's query, his face suggesting the complete opposite.
"To be perfectly honest I was trying to ditch him." Ryusuke said, completely deadpan as he shifted his attention over to Hanako's partner and pointed back over his shoulder with a thumb at where Monodramon was standing, again surprised that he didn't feel nearly as much irritation at the events that had stranded him in the digital world as he thought he should have. Granted, some time had passed since then and the irritation should have faded somewhat, but it'd damn near disappeared since then, something that Ryusuke had not been expecting. If anything Monodramon had been growing on him, and looking at it now it wasn't difficult for Ryusuke to understand why - even as cold as he had been to Monodramon up to and including the events at the Factory several days ago, the digimon had remained resolute in his dedication to stay with Ryusuke, and had even gone so far as to take a hit from an attack that would have hit the human in an effort to protect him. Even after that Monodramon had remained incredibly devoted, and as stubborn as Ryusuke was it remained difficult to keep irritated with such dedication. That, and by this point Ryusuke had to admit he probably wasn't going to be able to find a way out of it.
"Things really didn't go as planned, and I've been stuck here for a little over a week if I've been keeping track of time right. You guys are here, though, which means that at the very least you should know of a way back to the real world though, right?" Ryusuke added, looking over at his cousin as he asked a question that actually tripped Ryusuke up for a moment.
"Define 'special'. And no, nothing like that - she helped us out when we first got here, and we've been moving as a group since." Ryusuke answered, glancing back at the scarred Renamon nervously for a moment and unsure exactly how she would react to Hanako's comment. To put it rather bluntly she'd been getting increasingly unbalanced, at least in Ryusuke's opinion, since their last few run ins with Valus, and while he knew that there were a few concrete things that would set her off if mentioned, this was a borderline topic Ryusuke would had rather been avoided. He wasn't entirely sure how she would react, and that alone made him nervous.

The meeting of two family members soon became what it was supposed to become - an exchange of pleasantries, questions and whatnot - the two boys were obviously happy to see each other. A soft smile appeared on her face - it was ... nice to see people happy and reunited once more. Could she understand the feeling? Well, yes and no. No, because digimons often didn't have families, and Yes because ... well, she had Babamon. And Modoki. Sure, she was a friend but ... think the comparison was close...
As two humans chatted between each other, she stepped a bit away, not to bother them in their own discussion, believing herself to be out of place. Humans should deal with humans. Monodramon just stood there, doing nothing, as usual, but she didn't care much. Her eyes were fixed on the other renamon standing beside the new boy.
As mentioned before, he was ... well, pretty. Renamons were beautiful digimon in general, but this one was just ... that. Well-cared for, his speech pattern articulate and elaborate. In many ways, a complete opposite of her. It was ... a bit saddening, when she looked on her own body. And shook her head. Ugly... Ugly... - a sour thought went through her mind. It was not much of a standing issue before... Because she had no one to compare herself to...
But then the other Renamon talked to her, and she was taken a bit aback. Again, so polite, so articulate... But she had to respond, didn't she? But Renee'd rather not... Her glaring speech brokenness would be obvious then. It wasn't before, because she uttered only one greeting word, but ... now that she would have to say a longer proposition... She sighed. No point hiding it, is there?
- Apologize ... broken speech for... in advance... I do... - she replied to the other renamon, after he gave her a greeting, and bowed. After some hesitation, she bowed too, mirroring his movement, not very certain in what she was doing. She didn't want to give a bad first impression. Like a polite renamon Babamon told her to be. Then she continued:
- And ... pleased to meet... both you of.... Ugh... both of you. - Renee corrected herself and shook her head in disappointment. No matter how hard she tried... It just didn't seem to work, did it? But these were nice people, it seemed, the boy too, he seemed ... a bit in the clouds, his stare somewhat not focused. But he was busy talking to Ryusuke, no? So she returned to his digimon instead.
- Renamon too... I am... However. Species ... is it? It is... Hard define ... each other... - she chuckled a little bit at his introduction... She found it funny he stated he was a renamon, as if she couldn't see that... Instead she wanted to hear a name... Like she had. But that was suddenly interrupted by that boy... Hanako his name yes? When, out of the blue, he just said to her...
- You're beautiful.
This was ... well, completely unexpected to the gray fox. She was taken aback so much she took a step back, blushing heavily. Did he ... did he, a human, just call her that? She was utterly flattered by the compliment. Any girl would be, but considering her physical state, it was ... well, it made her feel all warm inside. She felt a bit guilty about ignoring and leaving the boy to talk to the other... He was such a sweetheart, wasn't he?
- I ... I ... I ... erm... thank you... - she managed to overcome her initial shock and thank the boy, a somewhat warm smile appearing on her face. It didn't take much to change her mood, did it? And his words, whether he knew it or not, hit the right spot. - Such... Nice person ... you are. Muchly... - she gave him more appreciation, but didn't dare coming towards, instead, she turned her head to the other renamon.
- I, um... Renee, my name ... is... What's ... yours? Have got? - she inquired. Hopefully, he understood her, so far...

"Funny story, actually."Renamon had been listening to the boy, ears forward. Now was this a 'Ha Ha' funny? No, from what the fox could see from the human, that was not at all the case, for his face seemed serious "To be perfectly honest I was trying to ditch him." Renamon blinked in surprise at this statement, shock was quite evident is his blue eyes as he stared down at the short human, but nodded slowly. He wasn't quite sure how to react to such news. When Renamon first met his partner Hanako, the boy was excited and very happy to have something so "unusual" as a Digimon. He certainly could not think of any human wanting to get rid of their very own Digimon, destined to be partners, perhaps friends for life. But, he nodded "That's perfectly understandable." the Renamon tried, though he glanced a empathetic glance in the lizards direction. What was it thinking exactly? Or did it even hear them at all, for a moment, Renamon was quite certain that the lizard might be a very quiet and shy type. Though, he wasn't entirely one to judge, for he only just met them, after all, right? When it was mentioned to Renamon that Ryusuke had been trapped here for a whole no, it all started to make sense as to why the blond had been gone so long. He nodded, new amusement grew into his eyes though the rest of his face was serious, the poor soul had been stuck here all alone? though it was a serious matter, he couldn't help but o find this all very amusing. This was probably something that Hanako would have experienced had it been his very first time back into the Digital World. " I see." he nodded and looked around the Toy town. What of the portal here? Why couldn't they have just taken it out, and gone back home? What was preventing Ryusuke from leaving the Digital World? Renamon's head had been swimming with many questions, but he looked to the gray Renamon, and nodded slightly, then back to Hanako. When she spoke, he turned his head to her in surprise, for he could not fathom that someone could speak in such a manner. It was chopped up, and out of order, but still Renamon had sense of it, and nodded with a smile. "You need not worry," He winked almost playfully at the female Renamon, trying his best not to stare or observe her scars for much longer "and believe me, the pleasure is ours." he smiled, and tilted his head to the side, forcing out something that sounded like a friendly chuckle. Hopefully he would seem friendly enough, after all, she could be very valuable to him and his partner. Whether or not Hanako really cared though was a different story, while Hanako made friends for relationships sake, Renamon was more interested in making friends for the convenience of them. Though, he had to admit, he certainly did like the companionship of females, as they were his favourite kind of company. Renamon shook his head, he need not get distracted. "Renamon too... I am... However. Species ... is it? It is... Hard define ... each other..."Renamon blinked, it took his a moment to translate what she said, but sure enough, he understood her and nodded, feeling a little stupid. She was right in some ways. It was hard to define each other if that was what she was saying, but the idea of having a name kind of gave the Digimon a start. Hanako had always called him Renamon...everyone refers to him as Renamon, even he called himself Renamon. The idea of having a name sounded like both a blessing, and a burden, both confusing and convenient. A name, huh? he would have to think about this. Meanwhile, Hanako just smiled at his cousin and Renamon, practically beaming with all of his good and happiness when the female Renamon had called him a kind person. Hanako knew he was no such thing, not at all, in fact, Hanako was quite certain that he was very selfish, but making her happy made him happy, so he thanked her quietly, barely mouthing the words. He then looked to Ryusuke and shrugged "Oh. Just special. Strange things have been happening in the Digital World, I think," he paused, glancing to his yellow fox partner for a moment, and then back to Ryusuke, this was probably something the others have already notice, Hanako figured, but he hardly cared, "I'm not sure what though. It all seems off to me, so I thought I'd ask in case you knew something." Hanako nodded after that. He was quite surprised by what he had said, it was probably the most serious, business related sentence he had ever said in a long time, so serious, even his tone was suddenly attentive, and firm, as though what he were saying was important. Despite the round-a-bout way Hanako had stated it. I, um... Renee, my name ... is... What's ... yours? Have got? For some reason or other Hanako understood what the female Renamon had said before Renamon could translate it, and nodded at "Renee" "His name is Renard!" He must have just thought of that on the spot, because Renamon seemed quite surprised at this sudden name change. Of course REnamon wouldn't accept such a name for a regular day-to-day basis, no he would rather just be Renamon, however, he could use that for the disguise matrix Hanako had just received, it would make for a handsome human name for his human appearance...however ridiculously close to was to his species name. Again, Hanako's mind was on another subject and he smiled at his cousin "Ah, but, Ryusuke, there should be a portal around here." he nodded confidently, and ran off a little ways away from the group "You see, you were not stuck after all." his Renamon shook his head "Forgive him, he can't stay on one topic for too long."

In spite of the alertness and intelligence or Hanako's partner digimon, the other Renamon sucked at lying - not that Ryusuke particularly cared since he was entitled to his own opinion and more likely than not sympathized with Monodramon than Ryusuke if only since they were both digimon, but Ryusuke easily saw right through the digimon's response. Monodramon, for his part however, had entirely lost interest in the conversation - despite Ryusuke's words and actions upon their arrival, he was fairly sure that his partner wasn't going to try and lose him again, at least not after the last two incidents involving the other human and the ModokiBetamon, and secure in that belief he had begun to wander a little ways off from the group, yawning as gaze drifted across the surrounding buildings. Ryusuke, however, still had his attention on Hanako and his partner, and didn't exactly take a liking to the look of amusement in the digimon's eyes upon hearing of Ryusuke's reason for being where he was at that exact moment. Yes, they'd been partnered for longer than he and Monodramon had been and probably found their overall situation amusing, but it sure as hell wasn't funny from where Ryusuke was standing. Still, chances were that they knew of a way out, and getting angry with or insulting them certainly wouldn't help, and in Hanako's case it was probably completely undeserved.
"I'll take your word on that, you've clearly been here longer than I have. Our last few days have just been spent looking for a way out." Ryusuke said, actually surprised that Hanako had spoken up and managed to stay on topic - a rarity for him. Usually by now his attention had wandered off and away from the conversation much as Monodramon's had by now, although in Hanako's case it was simply how he was rather than boredom like with the little dragon. It was different from his usual self, though, and Ryusuke wasn't sure whether or not to take that as a signof actual personal growth in his cousin, a level of maturity long overdue from Ryusuke's viewpoint, or if it simply showed the severity of the supposed changes in the digital world. Again, though.... Ryusuke himself had only been there for a little more than a week at most, and as far as he knew this was as it had always been. What Hanako had said next, though, caught Ryusuke's full attention. There was a way back to the real world here, in this town? It was a much better lead than the one that Shion had given them earlier, and as Hanako took off running Ryusuke moved to quickly follow, asily keeping pace with him. Monodramon, noticing the sudden movements, began chasing after Ryusuke as well.
"Don't worry, it's fine! I was going to ask you guys about it sooner or later anyways!" Ryusuke quickly shouted over his shoulder at Hanako's partner in response to the digimon's apology, completely forgetting his earlier irritation with the other digimon's apparent amusement as he followed Hanako - to put it mildly, the new development had Ryusuke in a very good mood. Cooked food, an actual bed, electricity, running water.... with any luck he'd be back to all of that within a mere few minutes. Buoyed by the thought, a grin spread across Ryusuke's face as he continued to follow Hanako, only a footstep behind and with Monodramon only another behind him.
