The food court was, as always, a trial. People were everywhere, talking and laughing and shouting. The various stalls were crammed with customers, and she wished she didn't have to wait in line and listen to the inane comments around her. At least no one had approached her yet - it turned out that she was not the only exchange student. Indeed, it seemed there was an unusual amount of students from all over the world - too many to be considered normal for such a place.
She didn't really mind being lumped into the cliché of "mysterious foreign exchange student" as long as people underestimated her and left her alone. Clichés were useful - a trite, stale stereotype that people tended to believe in. It made keeping others away just that much easier if she conformed. So far, she had said little, been unfailingly polite but aloof, and kept out of the way of others. That, and her unwillingness to linger or hang around outside school, had kept most people away. Besides, there were surely more interesting foreign exchange students to stalk.
The less attention she attracted, the happier she would be. At least the Japanese tended to be polite - it made things easier for her to just bow and murmur her accented apologies. A language so steeped in apologetic terms and manners ensured she could get away with small talk and never waste any effort at all.
She finally joined the queue for one of the sushi stands. She actually preferred teriyaki or ramen to sushi, but she had gotten used to eating things she didn't particularly like to enforce the lies. She made sure to fumble with her chopsticks, as if she was truly clumsy with them.
It had been years ago that her mother had taught her how to - She cut that train of thought off. Best not to think of the dead.
Taking the tray, she began to look for a relatively empty table to sit at without fear of someone actually talking to her.

"Just give me the money, Grandmother."
The tone was cold and impatient, clearly the voice of a little boy, but it was detached and cruel, as though he hated his grandmother with all his heart. She stared at him with those old Gray blue eyes of hers, and the boy stared unblinkingly back at his grandmother with cold green eyes. He didn't like it when she looked at him, she didn't deserve to look at him with those "loving" eyes of hers. She didn't love him, she never did, if she did then why hadn't he had a grandmother until just a few months ago? All people did was lie and act around him, they all really thought he was a horrible child, he knew, but when it really came down to it, with all the lies, they were no better than him. After the long staring contest, she looked away and started to digging into her purse. He looked around the area at passing by civilians, and then looked back to his grandmother, giving her a demanding look that told her to hurry up. "Here it is Trevvy," she practically beamed through her wrinkles as he snatched at the money she pulled out. " Grandma will be back, don't you worry," she smiled, and reached out to pat his head, but the boy instantly turned and started to walk into the food court.
The Food Court, was crowded. He didn't like crowded, but it would have to do, after all, he was hungry, and hunger meant more to the boy than being surrounded by a bunch of worthless fools who walked along as though they actually mattered. His green gaze looked past them, for he knew he was better than all of them, he didn't have to acknowledge them . Even though Trevor was much smaller than most of these people in the Food Court, he knew he was much smarter than all of them, better, and richer, and much more full of wisdom. Man-kind these days didn't understand the world like he did, while the rest of them lived in their own little world, only thinking about themselves, only concerned about themselves. Fools. If any one should be fawned over, it wasn't themselves, it was him, the one person who could possibly free them from their pointless thoughts, their foolish and selfish thoughts. All he knew, was that if he were the ruler of the world, there would be some changes, very dire changes indeed.
Trevor approached one of the stands, and retrieved his food, water melon for the most part, five pieces to be exact, Trevor enjoyed that fruit, it was a wonderful melon, and actually was worthy of being eaten by Trevor. He walked through with his tray of food, balancing it with just one hand supporting it underneath, and his other hand holding one of the watermelon, biting into it, and utterly making his face a mess. He sniffed, dropping it onto his tray again, and picking up a napkin to dab way his mess. Now then, where would he sit? Trevor would prefer to sit alone that with these pigs, but that wasn't the case, all the tables looked fool. He sighed, they should move for him then, or just stop eating damn it all. His green eyes laid onto a table with a single person sitting at it, making him walk towards her, he put on a friendly little kid face "Excuse me, can I sit here? You see, I'm all alone for a while, and I don't think I'm of age to be left alone quite." Rubbish. But it might work.

Of all the ironies, she had to be approached - though by a child, not one of the teenagers who might have recognized her from the exchange program. She had hoped to escape more elaborate lies while she was eating, but....
Oh well. She could manage this, easily.
Putting down the roll she had intended to eat, she smiled up at him nervously. "Of course you can sit here," she said. He definitely didn't look Japanese - he had bright green eyes, and seemed vaguely... different compared to the average child she tried to ignore. Avari was curious - but her unease at speaking to someone overwhelmed that. She didn't really need to know anything about him, as long as he left soon enough.
At least it made sense for him to sit here - most of the tables were taken completely, and she had chosen the empty one, thus practically inviting him here if he wanted to eat sitting down.
She shifted her grip on her chopsticks - still holding them improperly - and extended her other hand. "I'm Shion Crai, from Canada. You're not part of the exchange program too, are you? You seem a little young for it, but I don't know the rules," she said, not rushing but clearly chattering away. She had met people who talked like this, and it tended to ensure others underestimated them, making it useful for her needs.
"Sorry, I guess I talk too much... how do you like the food here? Some of it is pretty crazy!" She giggled, and went back to attempting to pick up the roll with apparent difficulty. At least she was never truly bored when lying - people reacted differently depending on how she acted.
"Shion" was the most reliable lie, though, given she was in contact with so many people every day. To use another now would only cause people to notice, and them noticing was the last thing she wanted.

Trevor waited rather impatiently for her answer, staring down at her with a blank expression now, instead of a friendly on as if he grew bored of trying to act like a "decent" person. Of course, in Trevor's mind, he really was a decent person, but other people didn't see it that way, so in order to get what he wanted from strangers , he would act "friendly" first, and then become as mean or whatever as he wanted. Trevor liked to think of it as honesty, and to be honest, he was the only honest person around, whether other people liked to hear it or not, he spoke the truth. Often times this boy confuses the truth with his own opinion, thinking that his opinion really was the truth, and not just a rude thought that comes to mind. He'd never notice it though, his sight of truth was blinded by the fact that he always had to be right, no matter what.
When the older girl invited him to sit down, he hesitated, regarding her up and down for a moment, then, he sat down in an instant, in a seat just across from her, putting down his food to gaze at it. It was might better than staring at that unattractive crow right across from him. Whatever the hell her name was. It had better be something fitting for her...blandness, he never did like good names given to those who didn't deserve it. Her hand extended to him, as though wanting to be shook, making the boy look up from his food for several long moments. Did she actually want to shake, his hand? He never liked to shake hands with people, after all who knew if some of these strangers even washed their hands after they used the restrooms, if if they were a nose picker, or recently picked up poop with their bare hands. He didn't know what these peasants did and what they didn't, but reluctantly, he reached his own small hand to shake hers with a firm one.
"I'm Shion Crai, from Canada." Trevor blinked at the name for a moment. Well that was good, he didn't like the name at all, so it was fitting with how he was feeling about this Shion person anyway. Trevor was about to give her his name when she spoke again, making him glower slightly, but then his expression turned back into a blank one. "You're not part of the exchange program too, are you? You seem a little young for it, but I don't know the rules," Ah. So she was at least smart enough to notice he wasn't from around here, that was certainly better than some people he could think of we talk to him as if he were actually a citizen of Odaiba. Certainly if they didn't notice the green eyes, than they were just as useful as a wet match in a dark cave. Trevor placed his hands on his laps and again, started to get ready to say his name. THE GIRL KEPT TALKING THOUGH. Honestly, of all the rude, bloody inconsiderate creatures that walked the earth, she was certainly one of the most annoying and worst of them.
"My name is Trevor Littettil," he nodded with a slight, uncaring expression in his voice, as if talking to this Shion person was such a bore "I'm from London, England, though my accent isn't as thick as it once was. It was true, though Trevor still did have the accent of a person who lived in England, his accent wasn't as noticeable as some, he had practised on it for a long time, trying to separate himself from being considered a english boy, and categorized in the same stupid stereotype. Trevor was his own person, he didn't have to sound like the rest of them. No, I'm really not from it actually, I'm living with my Gran' for a bit, she's a crazy old bat, I can hardly stand to look at her. and then, when he was finished he felt obliged to answer her last attempt to start a conversation, about the whole food court, with a sickly cruel smirk " Crazy? I think I've found this place isn't the only place that's crazy," the voice was toned so it was directed at Shion, as though he were implying she was insane, and his tone was also accusatory, as though it were all her fault.

How... dull.
She had expected some difference, but not the snide arrogance he was projecting as he spoke. It was off-putting and almost pathetic - he didn't have the... finesse for a truly sly insult or insinuation, though he almost managed it.
It was almost a pity that he was trying to use this talent for insults on her. At least, it gave her something she might have needed: practise for reactions. He couldn't know anything was amiss and that he was really talking to a person who didn't exist.
As he spoke, she let her smile falter, eventually looking confused at his finishing statement. She toyed with her chopsticks now, moving them back and forth as if uneasy. "I don't think I... understand what you're saying," she said at last, looking down. Shion was a nice person, a little too gossipy and inclined to giggle nervously - she tried to think the best of people unless they were too much fun to talk about to others. This boy would maybe have unnerved, even frightened a person like Shion.
She wondered if she would play along with the insults, if they continued - or show him how easily he was fooled. There was no reason for the latter, though. No need to be vengeful. He wasn't insulting her, after all. Someone like him could never hope to touch her with words.
After all, no one could touch or harm a ghost.

Trevor blinked both his green eyes down at his food, picking up a watermelon casually, and then taking a bite out of it. The water/juice from it of course burst into his mouth with pleasant flavour, if Trevor was alone, he might have smiled. Of course this wasn't the case, so the blank expression remained. Part of him wondered what her reaction might be, she appeared to be rather bland, with no back story what so ever. This certainly was going to be a dull conversation, especially because Trevor always found females to be the most stupid in a conversation. It wasn't their fault though, he had to admit with great pleasure, women were just meant for raising children and cooking, they were breed since the very beginning to only raise a family. It was only until of recent in history that they started to revolt, but that didn't mean that they were smarter than men now a days.
When he glanced back up at her from his water melon, Trevor found a flicker of confusion in her facial features. His green eyes narrowed a little, and he turned his face up to stare at her. Why was this Shion staring at him like that? Had he said something silly, of confusing? No. Everything he said was perfectly clear to whom he might be directing it to. Was she really that stupid that she couldn't understand his indications? Well...of course she was...he remembered again, that really it couldn't be helped, now could it?
"I don't think I... understand what you're saying,"
He scoffed a little, "Is that so?" a mean smirk grew upon his face, and his body jerked a little as though he were trying to resist laughing. So...he was right all along, she really didn't understand a thing he was saying? It was so amusing that he was right he couldn't help but to feel a little happy about it, Trevor was always happy when he was right, it might be the ine and only time he really did feel happiness. "Shall I make it clearer for you Shion?" his tone of voice changed from just plain mean, to something that sounded like a sneer " Honestly I find you a little Crazy," he nodded looking straight at her, with out flinching "You are talkative, to an annoying extent, you can't seem to follow a conversation with out getting confused," he paused a little to pick up another watermelon "I kind of feel a little foolish for thinking you were smarter than you looked, but...I guess not, isn't that right?" Was he trying to pull some sort of anger out of this Shion person? Yes, he certainly was . He didn't like people who had little to no reaction to his conversations, he enjoyed the struggle. He enjoyed getting anger, or getting hurt feelings.

It turned out that her question seemed to be the trigger to go from subtle insults to something more... blunt. The loathsome sneer in his voice was odd, contrasting his innocent appearance, and it might have been a shock if she hadn't been prepared for his little tirade. He really had no idea what he was talking about - a talkative nuisance was hardly mentally unstable, just annoying - but she let him finish, focusing on her ability to respond to his hurtful words. As he first spoke, she let her eyes widen, lip trembling as if he had slapped her or told her she should die.
As he continued, she almost looked ready to cry, and completely shocked by such harsh insults and judgements coming from the boy. When he was done, she said, voice choked, "Who - who do you think you are? To say... such horrible things?"
Her hands clenched, and it was easy enough to look away, as if desperate to fix her gaze on something that wasn't her apparent tormentor. He really should have chosen a better target, or waited until he had some more information before making his assumptions. His words were calculated to be hurtful, and betrayed his own arrogance as he spoke. She had never met someone who was... like her, and she accepted that most people did not use the same tactics, but she had also never met someone so willing and eager to be cruel to others. She wondered idly how it would feel for him if she reversed it now.
She couldn't reveal herself. That would have been pointless and foolish and unnecessary. But she could keep lying. In a very different way... And he would probably never notice, given how he had preferred to think her stupid rather than obfuscating her own intelligence.
[color=indigo"I'm not stupid,"[/color] she protested, voice wavering with emotion.
"But you certainly appear to be," Avari finished, abruptly changing to maliciously gleeful. Her lips curved in a small smile, and she looked back up at him, gauging his expression. "You really shouldn't judge so quickly, Trevor. Assumptions can be quite harmful."

Trevor closed his statement with a smirk, green eyes vibrant with energy, as though what he had told poor poor Shion had brought him sort of pleasure. Sadly, the boy did in fact think that he got a pleasure out of it. Like mot cruel people, they think that insulting people bring them confidense or pleasure, however in reality, it wounds both peoples souls. One more noticable while the other person doesn't even notice it hurts, but feels a strange goodness about it that isn't at all there to begin with, a sad illusion of happiness, as the rest eats away their soul.
He once again, picked up his watermelon, staring at it thoughtfully. The black seeds, the white seeds.... the pink world the seeds lived in, only to get eaten with the meat of the watermelon. Not like any of that was of importance, he was just getting bored with the conversation.... until....
She started crying, or at least, that was certainly how it sounded. The boy glanced up from his watermelon, a grin slowly forming bigger on his face. Good. She deserved to cry, every last tear drop should be shed from her eyes. She was a terrible person anyway...everyone but him was. "I have...." he smiled, "Every right, Shion." He did. Trevor had every right to believe he did. He was the smartest person he knew, and he could observe a person and figure them out no matter who he was talking to. They deserved to hear the truth about themselves, because people are too blind and deaf to be able to find it out alone. Trevor knew he was a gift upon man kind, not a horrible person, they just had to realize it one way or another. Of course, the strange thing was, the boy didn't even answer her question, she asked him who he thought he was. Was it the fact that he...didn't entirely have an answer, or was it because he didn't feel the need to answer the question. Perhaps, a little bit of both. It didn't matter who he thought he was, it was the opinion that mattered in the end.
Suddenly the mood changed, and the girl stopped appearing to be as helpless as before, making him stare fully in her direction. Did he have to rethink his whole idea on what kind of girl he was dealing with. It seemed that she had changed her personality entirely, or at least, this was a new side he was dealing with. "You really shouldn't judge so quickly, Trevor. Assumptions can be quite harmful." he blinked for a moment, as though deep in thought about what she was saying. Was that some sort of threat? How dare she think she could just threaten him like that! " Or else what?" he asked, the smirk never fading away from his face "What could possibly happen to me here?"

He genuinely thought that he had the right to belittle and insult her. If she could have, she would have laughed - but she found it neither truly infuriating nor pathetic. Perhaps it was telling just how little she cared about what she meant to do to him.
How fitting for his arrogance, though, to meet someone like her.
"You think you have every right to hurt people, don't you? Well, then I have just as much of a right. Or did my fooling you into thinking I was that stupid still mark me as inferior?" she asked, head tilted to one side as if she was genuinely curious. She deftly ate the rest of her sushi, no longer fumbling - if he had already seen her change her personality than such habits weren't exactly necessary. Perhaps seeing how well she had managed it would keep him from taking others at face value, but she had no real intention to impart that sort of value.
"To me, you're nothing," she continued conversationally. "I don't really care what you do after this or if I ever see you again or if you decide to stop being so superior.
"Nothing you ever do could hurt me. And you know what?"
She leaned over, inwardly wishing she could just get rid of him somehow - but it was better to leave. She was done eating anyways.
He still had some watermelon left, probably because he had been too eager to tell her how stupid she was to eat everything. She smiled at him, deliberately making the expression as cruel as possible. "You're nothing to me. And that means I can do anything. Like this~" She plucked a slice and ate it, grinning all the while.
This was hardly a victory. Even if it had been, she doubted she would have felt triumphant - but someone like him would never know that. Turning her back on Trevor, she began to clean up her tray, not even looking at him - she didn't need to lie to make her disinterest clear, at least.

Trevor huffed a little, glaring down at his hands a little. Grandmother was probably going to come back sooner or later, and when she did that meant he had to leave this girl alone and go with the old hag. She ruined all his fun with her and her...morals and insisting on being kind to everyone no matter who they were. Even kind to him. Fool. She tried to hard, she tried to get him to love her in return, but that would never happen, not even if she begged on her hands and knees for his forgiveness. For never being there like a real grandmother should, for raising the scum that was his adoptive father, and for treating him like he was really only ten. These were sins that she commited towards him that Trevor would never forgive, she might as well just leave him alone and let him act however he wanted. The way he behaved towards others was far more fun than being kind anyways. Well, that certainly was enough of his self pity, it certainly wouldn't bring him anywhere anyway, he'd just have to think of a way to make her life even more miserable than how it was now. That always made himself feel better.
"You think you have every right to hurt people, don't you? Well, then I have just as much of a right. Or did my fooling you into thinking I was that stupid still mark me as inferior?"
Trevor blinked back up at the girl, a flicker of self-doubt appeared into his eyes, but he erased it with the same cold jaded eyes...as best as he could. On the inside his whole brain was trying to refigure out the girl he was talking to. Had she fooled him? NO impossible! No one could fool Trevor, no one had ever been able to trick him before. At least, if they ever did, eventually he would find out that they had been lying to him. He would not be made the fool here! No, there was no need to start panicking. Clearly it was just the case that this girl was trying to out smart him, and everyone knew that was impossible. Well, everyone should know that anyway. She was the idiot here anyways, she was the one who had even given him the chance. Deep down though, part of him wondered what she might do to him if they were not in such a crowded area. Probably nothing he couldn't get out of, naturally, but still it was a little unnerving.
To me....you're...nothing...
Her next words made Trevor once more, pay attention, green eyes glaring brightly at Shion. Nothing? He was nothing? Part of his mind was furious with what she said, while the other part of his honestly didn't care about what she said about him. He wasn't nothing, that was enough for him to ignore the feeling of wanting to explode on her. He was not nothing, he was everything, the only thing that was important on this earth. Everything else didn't matter at all, and she...was so stupid, so naive. Like he hadn't heard those words before. Certainly those words angered him, but in the end, they wouldn't matter, because in the end Trevor would be in charge, and people like Shion would soon be forgotten.
Out of everything she said, the thing that annoyed him the most, was the fact that she honestly thought nothing he could say could hurt her. "I don't believe that." he retorted the words so full of loathing, that it sounded like it was literally dripping out of his mouth like venom. Then out of the blue, something happened that took Trevor by surprise. Shion took one his watermelon and...
She ate it.
"HOW DARE Y-." the boy nearly blew up but then stopped himself, green eyes blazing with fury. He didn't want the attention on him, no matter how angry he was. There were these cases , where he had seen children throw a fit in large groups of adults and usually they would side with the crying child. The thing was Trevor wasn't so low he could cause a scene, he was a brutal and terrible little boy, but he did have a huge sense of pride, and would not allow people seeing him act ...his age. Where did she think she was going? Trevor's outraged expression grew into one of pure shock as he watched the girl walk away casually as if what she did...was not a crime. He. Would. Not. Be. Made. A. Fool. Of. The boy jumped up from where he was sitting and walked after Shion, his unhappy face only seemed to grow even more unhappy with each and every passing second, and it was all her fault. "Hold it," Trevor commanded, reaching one hand out for the woman " I want an apology this instant!" he expression on his face showed clear that he meant big and serious business with this lady. "But before that, tell me why, " he paused "Why, if I and my words mean nothing to you, do you want to steal from me? Does it give you some sort of secret pleasure, Shion? Or have my words hurt you deep down? I don't see how..if none of this means anything to you, why you would do that...It doesn't make any sense."

She had wondered how he would respond - and she was not disappointed as he began to yell, before cutting himself off. So he clearly was smart enough to know that causing a scene would not be good for either of them. Still, she might have just left him there if he hadn't followed, plainly incensed and trying to block her way.
She looked down at him for a moment, still wearing the cruel smile she had adopted. It would have told him just how little she thought of him if she dropped the act - but it would only endanger her. She did not need to prove anything to him, let alone how little she cared - because proving that would mean she did care, even if only by a small amount.
He demanded an answer, and an apology. She would give him one, at least.
"I did it on a whim. Your problem is that you cared about my action - because you did, you're angry at me. I would have left even if you hadn't reacted." She shrugged, no longer even looking at him as she spoke. "It was hardly a great crime. The world will steal much more from you than a watermelon slice, in the end."
She barely registered it as theft. She had stolen things before, when she had needed them, and lied about it if confronted. It was hardly something dire, though in this case she hadn't... needed it. It hadn't been desperate. That differentiated it from taking food if she was starving, or something equally important - but in the end, it had just been a single slice, and she had hardly enjoyed it. Stealing to complete a lie was... new, but she saw nothing wrong with it.
It was all an act in the end.
She reached out to grab his wrist and push his hand aside before continuing on her exit, noticeably omitting the apology he had wanted from her. Let him fume - he would probably never see her again.

He glared up at her, green eyes burning with fury. That watermelon was HIS, it was not hers, it was not theirs, it wasn't "the earth's" either, it was HIS. He certainly didn't appreciate the fact that she took it away from him with such ease. The funny thing was....Trevor could have sworn stealing that food would have been something he would have done to a person if he found it would please him in some way. It was like he was staring at an adult...female version of himself. The very different thing was, he was male, and she was female, making it obvious that he would be the winner in the end. After all, men were much smarter than women, and well he had certainly seen enough proof in his life to be very certain of this.
Part of Trevor just wanted to walk away, because she was proving to be far too difficult a target. He did prefer younger girls to bully because they were far more amusing, he got more reaction out of them, and they didn't treat him like a child. It seemed that lately all the women he had been meeting here in Japan...like Irene would not tolerate him like the people back at his old home would. No...he would certainly not leave with out the apology. Her expression, as he looked up at Shion, was still one that was cruel and malicious, as though she was not afraid of him..or maybe it was just her own defense. Which ever one it was, Trevor didn't like it, but he certainly wouldn't look away and submit to the girl.
When Shion told him that what she did was hardly a crime, his blood began to boil even more, and the glare grew harder and colder. What did she mean, hardly a crime? Of course it was a crime, after all, she had stolen from HIM! No, it wasn't any one else, but that didn't matter at all, what mattered was the fact that he needed to feel satisfied, he needed to feel like he was in charge and control of this situation. Trevor certainly would not want to mark this day in his calender as a bad day. His small wrist was grabbed by Shion, making him gasp and his whole body tense, ready to get hit or hurt in some way, but instead, she tried to move him out of the way. "Don't touch me!" he spat, as though her handswere filthy and needed to be washed. He continued to follow her, "You can't leave. I want to fully hear that apology...." besides, he really didn't want to be left alone in a place full of strangers, even if this Shion was a complete brat and a thief, and even if he was smart enough to get out of any situation...he'd rather her not leave yet. " Besides, why do you think you can't get hurt by my words?"

She smirked as he followed her - despite his arrogance, he was rather persistent. "Look at yourself, following me around like a little lost puppy. It's pathetic. You are pathetic. Someone like you could never hurt me."
So shallow, so quick to make assumptions - he had tried to ignore how she had fooled him, instead settling on what she was doing now. No, there was no way he was intelligent enough to figure out that he was talking to another mask. This act was as brittle and artificial as Shion, but no one ever saw that.
"Do you really believe you're better than me? All I see is a little child who is scared to admit his own faults. You genuinely thought I was that stupid, but you can't bear to admit that I outsmarted you, right?" She waved her hand, a dismissive gesture. "Like I said, you're too pathetic to even bother with." With that, she kept walking - if he continued following her, she could always try to lose him among the crush of people entering various stores. To have him continue to follow her - well, he gave her enough fodder that she didn't really need to worry about giving anything away.
Besides, he was probably so caught up in his outrage that he wouldn't notice even if she slipped.
Still, the quicker she separated herself from him, the happier they both would be - and hopefully, she would have the fortune of never encountering him again. At least she knew what to do if she did - but if anyone else was around, there would be... problems.

This day had certainly been eventful, and he hadn't expected for things to turn out like this. He could remember his adventure at the mall previously and how he had met a girl named Irene who treated him to a meal, that was certainly a turn of events as well. However there was one gigantic difference between this woman and the other one, for this one was even stupider than Irene. She was so certain she was better than him, even if she may win this round, it would only be beginners luck. As much as Trevor tried to comfort himself about this, he DID NOT want her to get the thought that she might be better than him. Because well, she wasn't, and she needed to get some sense knocked into that thick skull one way or another.
His big green eyes blazed with extreme hatred for the woman. He honestly had to wonder who on earth this Shion person thought she was. Did she get some sort of sick pleasure out of trying to hurt the feelings of little boys or kids in general? That was his job, and he wasn't very appreciative of her stealing it, and even using it back on him. Especially because Trevor didn't believe a single word she was saying to him, so it might have hurt his pride, but certainly not his feelings. If anyone knew Trevor they'd know that he considered his pride more important than feelings . He never really considered that they might have been rather similar in some ways.
"Do you really believe you're better than me? All I see is a little child who is scared to admit his own faults. You genuinely thought I was that stupid, but you can't bear to admit that I outsmarted you, right?"
Trevor's rage suddenly grew into a sense of amusement at this statement. HA the nerve of this girl, who did she think she was?! Faults? How could he admit then when he didn't have any to admit, and if he did have faults, he certainly wasn't ashamed of them. (Is he a twisted kid or what?). She thought she could read him like a book, well, she certainly was wrong, and Trevor knew it. His extreme hateful scowl turned into a large smirk that spread across his young face from ear to ear. "Flaws? Don't you think I'm decent enough of a person to know when I have flaws?" when she gave him a dismissive wave, the boy's smirk flickered in anger for a moment, but stayed strong, as much as the fury was starting to return. She was the fool here. SHE WAS!
"Like I said, you're too pathetic to even bother with." He glared up at Shion, the smirk was gone once more, and replaced with that same hateful scowl. "I'M NOT PATHETIC!" he certainly wasn't, and Trevor was going to prove her wrong in the not to distant future. When he took over the world, this girl would certainly be the first to go. Oh how he loathed her. "At least admit that and I'll leave you alone." Why did Trevor care so much for her opinion anyway? Was it because she reminded him so much of himself?

"Is that all? Fine."
His lack of foresight might have been amusing if she had actually been enjoying this encounter. She felt no particular affinity or dislike for him, though, his bigoted and condescending comments aside. His meaningless rage and snide remarks were just proof that she was hurting him, and she had to expend so little effort for it. It wasn't even a full lie - so many details were unnecessary. He just focused on her words and her expression.
Did he not see her as a person? Even if he did, he didn't seem to want to know anything about her. The lack of curiosity was hardly something she found worth worrying about - it just made this easier.
The only problem was if he ever met someone else who had met her under the same name - but what were the chances of that?
weeks later, she would curse her own lack of foresight. Now, though, she slipped back into a bright smile, as if the previous smirk had been just an illusion.
"Of course you're not pathetic!" she exclaimed, her own happy expression giving all the mockery she intended to express. He knew this was a lie, and knew that she was lying - but she had done as he had asked. "I think you're a wonderful person!" And with that, she swept away, intending to leave the scene properly - unless he continued hounding after her.
