YamashitaMisaka
And when it rains...
On this side of town it touches everything.
Just say it again and mean it...
We don't miss a thing...
You made yourself a bed
At the bottom of the blackest hole...
And convinced yourself its not the reason that...
You don't see the sun anymore...
And when it rains...
On this side of town it touches everything.
Just say it again and mean it...
We don't miss a thing...
You made yourself a bed
At the bottom of the blackest hole...
And convinced yourself its not the reason that...

APPEARANCE.
Misaka is an teenage girl, unless you consider the fact that she is undeveloped in some areas. But other than that, the young girl has light brown eyes that match the color of her hair with an athletic figured hidden underneath her normal physical appearance. This is mostly due to her training in not only martial arts, but Kendo as well. Misaka also plays for the school soccer team. Yet with all of this physical activity, her body hides her muscles very well.
But outside of that, her social appearance is pretty well controlled. Keeping her hair cut short with only two to four bangs hanging down, Misaka is usually seen wearing her school uniform to most places. The uniform consists of a white collared shirt, which is covered over by a tan sweater vest with the school insignia upon it's left side. Over his waist is a navy blue skirt and her legs are covered by long white socks. Then lastly, her feet are covered by brown school shoes.
PERSONALITY.
Misaka has a generally cheerful personality. Doing her best to look on the bright side of things, she is usually the first one to attempt to encourage and support her friends and family. But in that, she is also the first to scold them when they are doing something that isn't right. Energetic, you can hardly ever find her sitting in one place for too long as she also seemed to find something to do to keep her occupied. Usually those activities involve helping other people. So in that sense, Misaka is a reliable and very caring person. Someone who is extremely loyal and understanding.
Of course, the girl isn't completely perfect. Misaka can get upset just like any other person. Yet the results in causing her temper to go off can often lead to someone getting hurt. While not quick to violence, there are only so many buttons that Misaka will allow to be pushed before punishing the person responsible. Though an instant set off would be upsetting the people that she cares for, especially her little sister.
Misaka can also get jealous, especially when it seems like she doesn't really know her place in the world. While she helps other people, it more of a cover for not being able to help herself. It's more difficult because she can't even really find her role in her own family. As the older sibling, she was supposed to help her sister with many things. But that role is limited due to the fact that the girl is a genius. That in mind, a lot that she knows is often overlooked because the girl is already aware of it.
There is also the fact that a lot of her parents attention is mostly placed upon her other sibling, as they seem to believe that Misaka is more than capable to taking care of herself. Even if that is true, she still wished for some kind of back up support. While her training in martial arts gives her some peace, it often seems like its temporary. So with that in mind, Misaka is a girl who is in search of where she stands in the order of things.
HISTORY.
hometown; Obaida, Japan
family members;
-Yamashita Kazai[Younger sister]
The older daughter of a math teacher and a doctor, knowledge was not limited within her home. They made sure to give the best to both her and her younger sister. Yet where Misaka struggled, Kazai seemed to soar. This didn't escape the notice of her parents as they saw the younger girl as a genius, someone who truly wanted to seek knowledge. While it wasn't on purpose, it seemed that Misaka slowly began to become somewhat overshadowed by Kazai and simply faded away in a sense. Though their parents were still aware of her existence, they focused a little bit more on her and allowed her to develop in her own way.
In this, Misaka did very well. She was one of the top students in her class, though not at the very top. She also excelled in her martial arts and Kendo training, but not at the top. Misaka was also very socially active. Hanging out with her friends and doing things that many normal girls did at her age. Though as time went on, she noticed that her sibling didn't act as though she wanted to have others around her.
In this, Misaka took it upon herself to spend time with the girl when able, doing her best to try and help her open up. She'd help her go shopping, take her to the movies, even just talk to her. But in all this, it didn't seem as though nothing would help bring her sister out of her shell. It was almost enough to make her parents believe something was wrong with her. After all, the girl had a party for her birthday and after spending some time with her two guests, she went and spent the remainder within her room.
Though perhaps that could have been seen as a small improvement. But in either case, Misaka always tries to do her best as an older sister. Though in the end, she believed that Kazai would simply come out on her own when she was ready.

RP SAMPLE.
This rp sample is from a Digimon Rp where I played an OC character by the name of Brittany Andrea.
"Boring..."
A common statement from the teen as she walked slowly through the incoming crowds of people. Everyone appeared to be set on going somewhere, but then, that's how it always is in this city. But not her, unfortunately. Brittany's life rarely had any excitement or twist, unless you actually counted the minor events within the walls of the school. Other than that, her life was a drag, a constant renewal of the same routine.
It wasn't as though she disliked her life, it was only that she wanted there to be more to it. Since her father was always busy, her life was pretty much left in her mother's hands, meaning that she was trapped in a cycle of studying, piano practice, and then bed. She was 15 years old and she was going to bed around 8. The girl was officially trapped.
Looking up towards the sky, she knew that there had to be more to her life than this. If so, then why wasn't she doing anything to change it? God, how she wanted to change it...but how? There had to be a way...
Moving from outside the large body of people rushing in one direction, the school girl placed her back against the side of a building, letting out another sigh as she reached into her bag to pull out her cell phone. "Mom's gonna be calling soon...like always.."
Her tone was almost one of disgust, but it was not to be intended for her mother, only towards the fact that she would be forced to play that blasted piano just as soon as she got into the apartment.
The thought of that grand piano somewhat made her sick, maybe due to the fact that she had been playing it for so long. In any case, it wasn't exactly a skill that she wanted , she would rather just continue her kendo lessons, at least they provided some entertainment for her.
Then, her thoughts were interrupted by a small flicker of light. Brittany looked away from her phone, scaning the area around her. There wasn't anything around to have produced it, maybe it was just some tourist flashing pictures somewhere...
Another flash caught her eye, this time she knew that there was something wrong. As the girl looked around, she noticed the alley right next to her, why hadn't she seen it there before? In any case, there it was. Looking closer inside, the teen couldn't see anyway that the light could have come from here. All that collected in that pathway was trash, and the foul smell of wet cat.
"Maybe....I was seeing things??"
Brittany turned her head back towards the main street, preparing to continue on home, in till her head a soft tone. It was almost like the tone that came when you turned on an old TV set, yet this one grew louder and louder by the second. Taking the risk of getting dirty, the girl dashed into the alley, doing her best to keep up with the noise.
Turning down one path, and then another, soon the light outside of the alley grew darker. Brittany knew that she should turn back, but the thrill of actually having found something was too much for her. Her hand gripped tightly to her bag strap as she navigated further into the unknown alley way. Soon enough though, she found herself confronted with a large brick wall.
"Dead end....Should have known...", the girl whispered as she looked around for anything that seemed strange, though in her heart, she was glad that there wasn't anything. Running into an alley like that was so reckless, what if something had happened?
In any case, this just proved that she would look for anything to bring some thrill to her dull life, even search through dirty, smelly pathways.
A calm expression lingered on her face as she turned herself around and began to slowly walk back towards the open.
