Brothers
Before he was captured, BlackGabumon used to live with his brother, Vielecmon. At the time they were Nyaromon and Chapmon, waiting for their partners together. The two were very close and always wanted to be together. One day while Chapmon was out eating Nyaromon was attacked by A.I.R members. His brother came back just in time to see Nyaromon carried away. He has yet to see his brother again, but if he does it is unlikely that they will recognize each other. They have both changed so much. And not just digivolution-wise.

They have a bit of an odd relationship, these two. BlackGabumon is very impatient with this digimon, and with good reason. Palmon is very good at getting on others' nerves. Especially BlackGabumon's. The plant digimon likes to do everything that annoys BlackGabumon. The two digimon were in the A.I.R camp together for some time after being captured. They parted ways when BlackGabumon was transferred to the A.I.R building in the human world, and Palmon was bought from the camp.
Enemies
The encounters between these two were few and far between- something to be extremely grateful for. The two have had some very bitter spats. BlackGabumon felt a contempt for the digimon that had to act high and mighty to make himself feel better. They were both transfered to the A.I.R building from the camp, where they were both bought.
