It was a dark and stormy night as Candlemon crept around the graveyard, which was kind of pointless since he was using the top of his head as a torch. He was practically asking someone to notice him, but he was pretending to be a ninja at this moment. His mind was exactly on what he was supposed to be doing like capturing human children, but Candlemon was practically a child so he did need some watching. Of course, was there really a shepherd out there that wanted to keep an eye on a rookie Digimon at all times? If there was one, then it hadn’t been introduced to Candlemon.
Fortunately for him, there was no one else around at the moment to put him back on the right track, which meant that he could go about playing around until someone did show up. “Now I shall get ready to sneak up on the unsuspecting traveler. He shall feel the full force of my ninja powers.” [/b] Candlemon was slowly moving behind a tombstone, and then he counted to three before jumping out from behind it abruptly. He tried to make a scary face, which wasn’t hard since he was a talking candle. “Bloobaja!”[/b] His attempt of making his own battle cry was not very successful as it sounded like he was trying to speak while eating a bowl full of Jell-O. The Candlemon thought it needed a little more coarseness to make it sound really terrifying, but how did he make his voice coarser? He did not know, but he made plans to find out soon. Maybe he would ask one of the other Shepherds how to do it. This would only work if he wasn’t ignored because of his youth.[/blockquote][/size]

Mood: Neutral A clap of thunder spooked Impmon. Really, she thought. The violet digimon didn't really like stormy weather. She loved the rain, it was soothing to her but the noise of thunder usually makes her jump. It was a natural response to a Shepherd who was on her toes when alone.
“Bloobaja!”
Impmon heard the pathetic battle cry. Her head tilted slightly in confusion. What a dork! The imp digimon thought with a sigh. She noticed a flicker of light nearby then let out a small giggle with a snort near the end. Impmon sauntered to Candlemon with a smug look. Her foot steps were quiet. Slowly but surely she was close enough for speaking distance.
"Well now isn't that weak ..." she had a smile across her face, a very cheerful one to be exact. The tone of her voice was a little saractic, but she wasn't trying to be too rude. Her emerald eyes stared at the other, there was a moment of silence before she spoke, "So ... what's your name kiddo?" Impmon wasn't too interested with the other Shepherd, but she might as well be acquainted with him nonetheless.

He should have known that someone was around. There was always someone around in the Digital World, but it had appeared to be an empty graveyard. He knew that there was a saying that he was supposed to remember whenever he thought a place looked like it was empty, but it wasn’t coming to mind at the moment. He would probably remember it when someone reminded him of what the saying was, which wasn’t technically remember but it was as close to remembering as Candlemon got. He turned around at the word weak as he was going to hit whoever had said that about him.
His eyes found an Impmon who was around his size, so he was pretty sure that he would have no trouble knocking the Digimon down. Of course, he wasn’t sure if he was allowed to fight another Shepherd, so he refrained from doing so until he saw someone else do it. He wondered why this Shepherd was in the graveyard in the first place.
“My name is Candlemon.” [/b] It was kind of an obvious answer as he was a Digimon that looked like a candle. He didn’t know why the question had been asked, but answering was the polite thing to do. “What brings you to this part of the Digital World?”[/b] [/blockquote][/size]

Mood: Neutral [/b] Candlemon? ... um okay, I was hoping for a nickname I could butcher ... oh well. She could care less. "Well obviously your wailing or whatever it was caught my attention." Impmon spoke in a frank manner, Candlemon after all did bring some attention to himself.
"...And I'm bored, so very bored. Bored to tears," She whined and exclaimed. Impmon over exaggerated the bored to tears by flailing her arms. At this point she was itching for something to do. The violet digimon didn't care what it was, just something that would be enjoyable.
She took another gander at Candlemon, her tail swayed a little then her eyes wandered a little looking at the scenery. It wasn't much, but it was something. "And so like... what brings you here?" While she spoke her ears twitched as well from the droplets of rain hitting her. It was a little annoying, but not enough for her to complain about. [/blockquote]

From what the Impmon had said, he could use his battle cry to summon his allies, which was sort of a plus but not the desired effect. He would have to add a little more scariness to his voice in order to get people to run away in terror of him, but that could wait until later.
“So what you are telling me is that you are bored, right?” Candlemon was not someone that was familiar with sarcasm, so he had to ask the obvious questions that most people didn’t need to inquire about. “Have you tried playing a game?” It was what Candlemon did on the rare instances that he got bored, so he thought that he would offer it up as a possible solution.
The small devious looking Digimon asked what he was doing here, and the answer was a very simple one. “I am practicing for when I got to the Human world so that I can scare the pants off of some humans.” He had heard from a different shepherd that it was always best to be prepared for whatever task one has been given, and Candlemon took that to mean that he needed to be ready to scare off any adult humans that he might encounter.

"Indubitably." Impmon replied in a frank manner. Although she was a little annoyed when he said something about playing a game. She thought he would assume that but she assumed wrong. The little imp raised her brow and ignored his question.
After his final comment she pondered a little. Well he wasn't doing a good job at it that's for sure. Now do I help him or not? She sort of pitied him. His battle cry or whatever it was was a little weak. And maybe this could set her mind off of the thunder.
Mood: Happy?
"Well first off you need more ... I dunno air for a louder and more ... aggressive cry. Just saying. And well, how about we 'play fight' to practice our skills and such so we can scare the pesky humans? What do ya say?" She had a grin on her face. A very odd grin. It was big and very creepy, demonic even. Was she going to be easy on the mutant digimon ... who knows.
Impmon was hoping this little candle would say yes. That would be delightful for her. Just for fun of course, and it's not like she was going to hurt him that badly. Her tail swayed as she was thinking again, planning on what she would do. But this didn't mean she would underestimate little Candlemon.

Candlemon had no idea what the word ‘indubitably’ meant, but it sounded like a naughty word which of course made him giggle. He didn’t know why, but hearing bad words just seemed funny to him. It was like someone saying the word ‘maize’ in such a way that it sounded like his or her nose was plugged by something. Probably had to do with the fact that he was still like a child, which made certain things amusing to him.
The Impmon had suggested that he suck in more air to make the cry seem louder, which would make it more scary. Of course, this was an easy thing to fix in his mind, but it was the second comment that threw him off. What did it mean to play fight. Were they going to get wooden swords to strike at one another or were their actually attacks going to be tossed back and forth?
"Play fighting sounds like fun!" The Candlemon started hopping around the cemetery with an excited look on his face. It felt like he was making a real friend out of the Impmon, but then he stopped suddenly with this confused look on his face. "So what do we have to do in order to play fight?"

Well, yeah, play fighting is fun! That's why I brought it up! But why is he hopping? Either he's that desperate or that excited. Or probably because it's such an awesome idea. Anyways! She giggled to herself after her mini-conversation in her head.
"Not really much. It's kind of like a game of tag, but more violent." She told him. That's how she thought of it, a violent game of tag. She stepped back a few steps, "Now I'll go first. I'm going easy now and will progress from there!"
" Badda-boom!"
Impmon hurled a small ball raven black flame towards Candlemon. And she kept her word, she was going easy. Impmon intentionally missed her target only to let her attack explode in front of Candlemon's face.
"See? Like that! But how about you try to aim at moi!" Impmon was a little serious at this point. Her tailed wagged with eagerness. She kept a wide grin on her face, it still had an eerie look to it. Nonetheless Impmon felt she was going to enjoy this.

The Impmon giggled for some reason that was unknown to the mobile candle, but that wasn’t going to put a dampen feeling on the parade that he had in his mind. The whole relationship thing seemed like an excuse to let loose some pent of aggression on the Impmon’s part, but it would make good practice for Candlemon.
“Oh, violent tag sounds like a fun game!” The real thought that was going through the rookie Digimon’s mind was whether or not his new friend was going to get mad if the violent game of tag took a turn for the worse, which really meant whether or not she would get mad if he accidentally burned her.
The attack that she threw at him exploded right in front of his face, and while most people and Digimon would have flinched at it Candlemon began hopping up and down in excitement. He found it to be as entertaining, and he couldn’t wait for his turn to come. It seemed like the best game in the world, and Candlemon was sure that he would play it with others.
“My turn to play. Lava Loogey!” He built up this feeling like he was going to hock a loogey at her, and then Candlemon opened his mouth to unleash a fireball from the core of his being. It landed to the left of Impmon before popping.

Impmon lazily leaned away from his move even though it wasn't going to hit her. Her face showed some sort of disgust because of his move. Only because of the name, but it was pretty cool at the same time. She wasn't sure to be impressed or grossed out from it.
"Not bad." That's all she could say. It wasn't like she was going to lie. On the other hand she could have just to push the candle's buttons. "I think you could do better than that." She said in a cold manner.
" Inferno Funnel!"
Not just one, but two orbs formed in her hands. One made of fire and the other ice. They glowed in hues of orange and blue. Intentionally the fireball was launched right above Candlemon's flame. The other was aimed at his right hand, Impmon didn't care much if it hurt or not.
Suddenly another crack of thunder took Impmon by surprise. She jumped almost two feet up in the air with a squeal. Her pale face turn into a crimson color out of embarrassment. The feminine digimon didn't like others to hear her squeal like she did now. It was a normal reaction, but still, Impmon was humiliated.

Candlemon liked the fact that Impmon had been impressed by his attacked, but that was mainly because their attacks had been so similar in nature. It was easy to get along with something that had something in common with you, and Candlemon found that a lot of people had something in common with him.
Obviously, he hadn’t heard the second part of the Impmon’s statement as he was busy mooning over the first part, but his instincts kicked back in when the Impmon’s next display came at him. He had to admit that it was an interesting attack, but Candlemon had this interesting idea to see what would happen when he used his other attack.
“Oh, those are pretty colors, but I think my Melted Wax is more impressive!.” As soon as he said it, Candlemon spun around on the spot and launched several wax sticks from his body like a mutant porcupine who sneezed would have. He really didn’t have any control over where they would go, but they would definitely counter the attack that had been launched by his playmate.
As soon as he stopped spinning, a crack of thunder happened which was followed by the Impmon making a loud noise that was very high pitched. It was an interesting sound that made the oversized candle come up with one idea. “Is that your battle cry? It seems like it would be really good in a haunted house.”

Mood: Embarrassed She didn't notice Candlemon's attack and was hit right where her smiley face was on her belly. Impmon huffed out some air before falling back on her bum. The purple creature looked up at the over-sized candle with a glare. She raised a brow then got up only to dust herself off. Impmon wasn't very frustrated, it was more like annoyed with what just happened.
“Is that your battle cry? It seems like it would be really good in a haunted house.”
What the hell as he squawking about?! I don't do battle cries! She didn't need a battle cry. In her opinion, it was a redundant thing to do. Letting your enemy know that your nearby seems to take away the point of stealth.
"I'm ... not going to comment on that." She told the other with a very cold tone. She stayed still for a while staring at Candlemon with feline eyes. Impmon was thinking of what to do with him. "So. Would you like to continue or just leave this place?" She wanted to leave immediately. Impmon wanted to be somewhere that didn't have thunder or rain or gloomy clouds. She wanted to be somewhere nice a warm.

It was sort of surprising to the Candlemon that the Melted Wax had found its mark on the Impmon as he had assumed that she would be faster than that, but maybe she had been temporary blinded by lightning or something. It just went to show that even he could get a lucky shot in every once in a while.
Anyway, it didn’t matter why she had not dodged the attack as it gave him a reason to yell something that he had wanted to say since he had heard that they were playing a game of tag. “Since I hit you, that means that you are it!” The Candlemon proceeded to hop up and down all around the Impmon with an excited look on his face.
It was a lucky thing that she had said something about taking themselves to a new location, which made the candle infer that she wanted to continue the game in a new place to make the game more interesting. “Yes, let’s go inside the church to continue playing. You must catch me now!” He was cackling as he hopped off in the direction of the door of the Bakemon’s Church, and he assumed that the Impmon was going to follow him inside of it.

Mood: Somewhat Annoyed “Since I hit you, that means that you are it!”
She had to admit that was a cute comment on the situation. Impmon sighed in front of the Candlemon in displeasure. The hoping was getting on her nerves. She bit down on her bottom lip with her sharp teeth. Is he trying to annoy me?
“Yes, let’s go inside the church to continue playing. You must catch me now!”
Lovely. Eventually Impmon followed. After mustering some momentum she went on all four. Impmon pounced on the candle to get a small boost before running ahead. "Now YOU'RE it!" She huffed. The purple digimon darted further until she was inside the church.
Maybe we could make it a little more interesting or something. She thought maybe a little hide and seek would create such an interest. Impmon didn't feel like running anymore so she crawled over into a dark corner to see if he misses her. Best thing possible would be that little dork leaving. At least I had fun. I guess.

At first, Candlemon thought that Impmon was not enjoying the game, but this feeling changed when the little dark Digimon jumped on him like a cat pouncing onto a mouse. It was followed by the best words that could reemphasize how much fun they were having because of this rare time that he had met someone that enjoyed games.
“Now YOU’RE it!”[/color
Then the little Impmon ran into the church like Speedy Gonzales, and the living candle followed her without any hesitation. “I won’t be IT for long!” All he had to do was fine the little Impmon and tag her to change the tides in this little game that they were playing.
Unfortunately, the Impmon was a little craftier than he had thought, and she had disappeared in the darkness that was the ghostly church’s essence. If this game was going to continue, Candlemon was going to have to do something that would lighten things up, and then it hit him like a ton of bricks.
“Lava Loogey!”
Candlemon fired off one of his Digi-Core fireballs at one of the walls in the church to see if it would draw at the one who had made him it.
