Hanzō and Greymon X had finally made it outside of the Jungle. Yet this new area was still just another mystery. Greymon's memory was still coming back in bits and pieces but this was something that was void of his mind. Greymon X had never been to this place before and he got a chilling vibe from it.
Hanzō was riding on the shoulder of Greymon X. Just standing on his on ot as he held on to one of Greymon's horns. He saw the dark and deary yard as just a lonely place. He noticed that this was somewhere that people had forgotten and let die away. Now they were the ones occupying the space. It seemed that no Digimon were around at the moment.
"Well, seems that this will be a decent place to rest. I don't think no one will want to come to this area."
"I get a weird feeling here, but if anything tried something, then I'll take care of it without a doubt."
Ryudamon had just digivolved to Greymon X. It liked its new form and felt stronger then before. It also felt a darkness creeping on it from within, but only shrugged it off as paranoia.

"Do you like this place?" Avari asked idly, watching her partner scout in front of her. Thanks to his keen hearing and sense of smell, he didn't need to range far - nor did he want to. He had a reluctance to be far from her that was... unnerving. She didn't mind the protection, but the company itself was a different matter altogether.
He turned towards her now, usually amber eyes given a vaguely ruddy tint - she told herself it was because of the odd lighting here. He had explained what he was as a... Dark Digimon, a viral variation of a usual species, and she had accepted that as face value. But perhaps data corruption was more than just a change in appearance, though she had yet to see him kill something and bathe in its blood, or laugh evilly. Knowing if her partner had psychopathic tendencies was useful knowledge, but she did not like talking to him for too long. The conversations always seemed to have a general tone of her lacking something that he expected from her, and she didn't particularly like that feeling.
"Yes. It is quiet - there are Digimon here but they are scavengers. Not strong." Not a challenge, then. A safe journey through this place, without meeting anyone else, was the most she could ask for. BlackGabumon suddenly stiffened, head turning to track something, and she knew she had very little chance of that. "Digimon and a human," he reported. "Champion... a Greymon, but its scent is strange."
In a few moments, she could see the other pair approaching - a large... dinosaur of some kind, with a horned head, and what was presumably its partner on its shoulder. They didn't seem aggressive, so she just kept walking - hoping that they could simply walk past without trouble.

Hanzō waited for Greymon X to stop before he jumped off of the Digimon's shoulder. He wanted to get a closer look of what was going on around this place. After he did more scouting then he would gather up some wood to make a fire. Yet when before he could do this, Greymon had quickly turned his head and let off a growl of massive aggression.
"What is it? Another Digimon?"
Greymon had heard some footsteps coming off from the side of them. His head turned in that direction and almost made Hanzō fall off his shoulder. Yet his enhanced eye sight made it clear that it was only a dark haired human girl and a even darker Digimon. This Digimon seemed to have an evil taint to it. Yet, he knew not to judge a book by its cover, especially since he never dealt with a Dark Digimon before.
"I think we have visitors."
Hanzō was now looking in the direction that Greymon's head had turned him too. The human really didn't have a choose in the direction he was facing at the moment. "Hmm, well it looks like another human. What do you think of them? Should we go and confront them?"
"Would be advisable, make sure they won't try to ambush us later on, while were resting."
"Yea, even though they look like they are gonna pass by, it could just be a false motive and turn around and come back for us later."
Greymon X took that to mean that he could begin to walk towards them. His massive steps sinking him slightly into the ground. Each step bringing him closer to the two beings before them.

It was rather easy to tell that the confrontation they had sought to avoid was impossible - the... Greymon, as BlackGabumon had called it, was stomping after them despite their intent to be on their way. Unfortunate, but she seemed to have no luck in being ignored when it came to encounters with others.
She saw her partner tense as the steps came closer, and stopped, forcing him to halt alongside her. She hadn't been close to many Champion levels - given BlackGabumon's inability to digivolve, she had kept away from most - and this one was rather impressive, given its size and evident strength. Still it hadn't attacked them - perhaps the other pair didn't want a fight.
She stared up at the Greymon, affecting a look of curiosity. "Wow, he's huge!" She had failed recently, with Shion - twice over, really. That Renamon had surprised her enough to drop it, and he....
She hadn't been able to lie to Gear. He had forced her into telling the truth and the memory of her panic as he crooned her real name rose up again. She stifled it, forced the mask of Shion back into place so she could get through this meeting.
She waved up at the Greymon, smiling nervously. "Uh... hi! Is there something you need?" She could tell that BlackGabumon was fighting the urge to come closer and try to support her - he knew that she didn't want anyone near her right now. The presence of these two was troubling, if only because she could have gone on without bothering to shield herself for a bit longer if they hadn't followed her.

Hanzō jumped off of Greymon as he stopped by the passerbys. He wanted to get a better look at them. Well, it was kind of hard, seeing as how the Digimon was black and the girl had dark long hair. The light coming from the yard behind them wasn't even that much. He would seriously have to get a fire going or something.
"I'm only curious to see who is walking in complete darkness. Do you plan to walk through here til the morning? Cause I wouldn't think that was safe. I'm not to keen on having unknown people around, but less keen on having them sneaking around at night. So why don't you camp with us and we can get this unknown and mysterious thing unveiled."
Greymon X stared at the BlackGabumon. It could sense that it was a Virus type. Unsure if this was a good or bad thing, he was going to keep his guard up. No telling what kind of surprises these two might have up their sleeves. If it tried to digivolve, he would catch it while it was in the process.

Avari wished people weren't half as suspicious or inquisitive - they tended to cause the most trouble for her. This one was clearly the former - but he might have been genuinely concerned for her safety as well. His reasons didn't matter, really - what mattered was that he wanted her to go along and camp with him and she doubted a refusal would be treated well. He was stronger than her, without BlackGabumon digivolving, and she doubted he would miraculously achieve that at this very moment.
"Oh, this is going to sound really weird, but... my partner doesn't really like a lot of company, and I thought he'd enjoy a stroll in a dark place like this! I don't think all Digimon would like this place but he does and I like making him happy, you know? Camping sounds great, though!" She walked forward, hand outstretched - though she would hardly mind if he refused to shake it. "It's sort of creepy but I thought we'd be strong enough to make sure no one attacked us, right BlackGabumon?"
She hardly assumed he was unfazed by the differences in how she treated him when she lied, but he had never gone out of his way to sabotage her. He nodded mutely, studying the Champion that towered over them with vague interest. She knew they were not the ideal, nor destined pair - but he had only once admitted that it troubled him, and that had been for a practical reason.
"Oh, but I haven't introduce myself - I'm Shion! It's nice to meet you." She smiled cheerfully - a far cry from her usual unease at having to forcibly spend time with someone else. At least they probably wouldn't spend so much time camping that he would become a danger to her - and that was the important thing.

Hanzō walked closer to the girl as she stuck her hand out. He took it and shook her hand back, smiling slightly. He thought to himself, maybe she wasn't as bad as he pegged her to be. Opening his mouth, he spoke his own name. "My name is Hanzō and this is Greymon X." Well, this seemed like everything was going well.
Greymon leaned down to get a little more level with all of them. Hanzō looked back and shook his head. "I think we will be fine. You should be able to de-digivolve now."
Greymon let off a snort and watched as Hanzō brought his digivice out. The screen on it lit up and so did Greymon X as his form shrunk down to the form of Ryudamon.
Ryudamon stood up-right as he came back into his Rookie form. "Now I'm Ryudamon." His eyes going back to Gabumon. So what's your champion form?" Wondering how dark this digimon could be.
Hanzō this too also peeked his interest. He loved seeing the many forms of digimon. His thoughts soon wondered how many different species there were out there.

Greymon... X? That made him sound like an experiment of some kind, or... well, Avari could hardly claim to know much about Digimon beyond BlackGabumon's limited knowledge, but it explained why BlackGabumon found the scent strange. Maybe it was genetically modified?
"That's kind of a weird name," she told it, and then laughed nervously. [color-000033]"I guess that sounded a bit rude, sorry!" [/color] Not that it was a problem, as he de-digivolved. She watched the process carefully, knowing full well that BlackGabumon would probably never be capable of it. And then, suddenly, the conversation was turned towards them, and she blinked at the question. BlackGabumon seemed equally taken aback, and then finally spoke up. "I do not know.""He... hasn't really digivolved yet. I haven't gotten into any bad situations yet, and I've heard that's what causes it, right? Or something... anyways, we've been pretty lucky and he's always been strong enough to get rid of anyone that's bugging us, right partner?" she said, sheepishly. A solemn nod from him, as usual - she didn't fool herself into thinking he liked to play along with her schemes, by now. His reasoning for letting her do this still escaped her, and that was... a problem, but one she would surmount eventually. Right now, she had to pay attention to Hanzo - he has surprised her, with that question.[/blockquote]
