Misaka recalled a time when she was little that her parents informed her of one of life's basic truths. That truth was that there were no such things as monsters. That such things were simply illusion of images built up within her head. Yet now she wondered what they would say to hearing that she had a small blue dragon living in her room. Not only that, but during that week had also been attacked by a gremlin?
While she could easily show them the error of their previous assumptions, it wouldn't fair well for her new friend. After all, what was the usual result of finding new things in nature? Instant exploitation or death by experimentation. Neither were a fate that she believed DemiVeemon deserved or needed, considering how he had protected her. They were partners, which meant that she was to do the same towards him. But she wouldn't lie to her and say she knew everything about him. Because she really didn't.
What she had thought was simply the relocation of monsters was a lot more complex than she realized. Misaka had figured it had simply happened to herself, Kazai and her friend, but with the attack of Vilemon came the realization that this could very well be a wide-spread event. Digimon appearing out of computer screens world-wide, people receiving these strange devices. If this one object could open portals, who knew what other powers digimon possessed to give them access to their world.
"So can all digimon digi-volve like you did DemiVeemon?"
Misaka looked down towards her lap as she saw the small creature look up at her and nod. She had been working on an essay for class on her laptop, but her focus had been going back and forth from the events of previously. After all, who could work on homework when it was possible that some thing was going to attack you without warning. Her paranoia had been so bad that she hadn't dared open her window since the attack.
"Yup! Digi-volving is how we grow. It's also how we gain more power...."
The explaination made sense. As Misaka recalled the fight against Vilemon, DemiVeemon had transformed into a bigger version of himself called Veemon. In doing so, he gained a lot more power and was able to help in defeating the creature. But as soon as the fight ended, he reverted back to his previous form. It brought up the question of why that happened? Another one was why did the device glow when he had changed forms?
"Ok...But what about the device? Why did it glow when you did?"
Reaching into her bedside drawer, she pulled out the device, holding it in her hand as she looked towards the window. But as her gaze was averted, the small creature began to yawn as he closed his eyes and nestled into her lap further.
"Well...Because your my partner. Your power helped me to digi-volve..."
That was enough to cause Misaka to grow silent. Her power? What kind of power could she possibly have? In truth, the girl didn't think of herself as anything really special. She was just a normal girl that had happened to be brought into a situation that had abnormal results. Though it was at this one moment of thought that she began to see the device glowing once more.
"What the...."
Snapping into full awareness, the teen looked towards her laptop and saw a strange vortex opening up within it's center. It was similar to the one that had appeared in Kazai's room. But there was an odd difference. This time, it was pulling her inside as if it were some kind of vacuum. Attempting to try and close her portal computer, her hands ended up being pulled inside, causing her to scream as the rest of her, along with DemiVeemon were dragged in.
Then...everything went dark. She could feel herself falling, but that was the only feeling she had. Eyes closed as her arms and legs floated under the pressure of her descent, Misaka managed to open her eyes partly, only to see a light hovering over her. But soon that light faded, along with her sight as her vision was blinded once more by darkness.
Finally, light once more shined upon her face, awakening her from her state of unconsciousness. Yet as she rose up to a sitting position, her eyes revealed that she was no longer in her room. In fact, it appeared that she was outside in the middle of a desert. Rubbing her eyes to ensure that she was truly seeing this, Misaka could see only sand and what appeared to be a small village by a lake. Though that wasn't the only thing she noticed.
Standing over her was a familiar face of the creature that had saved her life.
"Hey Misa!! You're awake! That's good! Looks like we made it in one piece!"
Misaka blinked as she stood up with a shocked expression. Dusting herself of the sand that covered her back and skirt, the teen shook her head as she attempted to get a clear understanding of what had happened.
"Wait..What do you mean made it!? Made it where!?"
The Veemon grinned as he closed his eyes while crossing his arms over his chest.
"We're in the Digital World! Home to us digital monsters! Though...maybe we should have waited for Kazai and DemiMeramon huh?"
The girl's eyes widened as she looked around once again, realizing that this place did in fact look otherworldly. But that wasn't the only thing that was on her mind. If this was another world, then how was she to get back to her own?

SnowAgumon loved walking around. It was so fun. She always saw new things and met new people. She hoped she would get to meet some new digimon again. Digidestined were fun to meet too. She wanted to be friends! Whats more, she wanted her own digidestined partner!
She saw a girl sitting on the grass with a Veemon. Adventure! Humans always brought adventure with them. This one had a digimon too! That meant she must be a digidestined!
"Hello! Nice to meet you, I'm SnowAgumon! I see your a digidestined! Welcome, welcome!" She grinned broadly. "And what, may I ask. Are your names?"

"Grrrrr..."
Agumon had been trailing the SnowAgumon for some time now, and for the most part, he had gone mostly unnoticed. He followed it, stealthfully, hiding in the brush. He was a predator, and he had found his prey. He wanted to know more about SnowAgumon. It looked like him... and yet it was different. They were so close to being the same, and yet they were so different. HIs lust for baattle and undying curiosity were getting the best of him.
After all, when it came down to the heart of this particular, incredibly large, Agumon, he was a warrior. He would do anything for the thrill of battle. A good fight was all that he was looking for, and a strong opponent was the type of opponent that he would be most likely to spare. After all, if he had found someone strong, then he would want to fight them again and again as many times as possible.
In any case, Agumon would not make his attack just yet. He watched from a little less than a quarter of a mile away. His eyesight was spectacular, so that wasn't much of a problem, and being so big, he couldn't get too close without being noticed. He could leap pretty far with one jump, so getting to them wouldn't be much of a problem. However, he noticed a little blue Digimon next to the other Agumon. There were now two Dragon Digimon.

It felt like a scene straight out of Alice in Wonderland, only she was Alice and the rabbit hole happened to have sucked her in when she had no intention of going. The world just seemed so out of sync with the basic concepts of reality. Maybe that was the point. After all, she had never known a large body of water to be located right next to a desert, or for that matter a village that looked to house creatures the size of cats. But as interesting as it all was, the idea that she had no idea how to get back home still stuck with her. Without such knowledge, she was stranded.
"Veemon...I'm happy that we managed to get you home. But...I have no idea how I'm supposed to get back. Unless you know something?"
Kneeling down the the level of the blue dragon, the creature blinked before scratching the back of his head with a lost expression. That was all the sign the teen needed to lower her head and sigh. It was official, she was trapped with no way out. Misaka could only imagine the reaction that her parents would have at her missing. Perhaps Kazai or Renn would realize where she was, but it would probably take some time. But even then, what if there was no clear way out of the Digital World?
There has to be.....Otherwise how did DemiVeemon get to our world? It's probably just very well hidden....I need to stay positive...
Standing up as she released a slow breath, the young girl grinned before placed her hands upon her hips.
"Well...In till we do figure it out...How about we do some exploring? This place looks pretty neat..."
Veemon was quick to jump into the air and cheer upon hearing this, chuckling as his hand rested behind his neck while he grinned. Though soon his attention shifted towards the figure approaching them, causing him to just stare blankly. This didn't escape Misaka's notice as she soon turned her head over herself to see exactly what was coming, surprised when it appeared to be a white colored dinosaur.
As Veemon quickly moved infront of his partner, his head tilted to the side as he heard the digimon's greeting. With it smiling towards them, the blue digimon laughed as he did the same while looked back towards Misaka to show that it was ok. It seemed that it was another kind hearted creature, which was great considering how the last one they had met was a total psycho.
"Heya! I'm Veemon! This here is my partner Misa!!"
Misaka looked down towards the dragon and then smiled as she waved towards the Snow Agumon. While she wasn't exactly sure what she meant by Digi-destined, she was simply content with the fact that this digimon had not tried to eat them.
"Hello...Its nice to meet you Snow Agumon....You said something about Digi-Destined? What does that mean?"

"Heya! I'm Veemon! This here is my partner Misa!!"
SnowAgumon blinked happily. She loved Veemon's. They were so cheerful and funny. Her tail wagged softly. "Oh boy! It's so nice to meet you! I hope you are enjoying yourself in the digital world! we barely ever get humans around here!"
"Hello...Its nice to meet you Snow Agumon....You said something about Digi-Destined? What does that mean?"
She gasped. "You don't konw what a digidestined is?" She looked at Veemon, in surprise. "How can she not know? Did you forget to tell her? How can she not know?!" She started panicing a bit. "Hmmmm not good. She should know. They all should know. All the others know. Why not this one? Oh, this is bad. Very bad." She glanced around nervously, as though expecting danger to pop out of thin air.
She fidgeted anxiously. No this couldn't be happening. It hd to be a lie. That or this wasn't a digidestined. It was a fake. She clamped her jaws shut tightly. She backed away. This couldn't be happening.

Agumon could smell it. Battle was going to be coming soon. The smell of that Agumon was so good. Ridiculously good. He wasn't going to lose that scent any time soon. He had tracked it down and locked onto it. His senses were spectacular. This was one of the many ways that this Agumon was unique. The Veemon and the girl, however, were also gaining his attention.
it had been a long time since he had heard anything about Digidestineds, and he was very interested in learning more about them. He could simply sit back and listen just a little while longer to find out what these Digidestineds were up to. SnowAgumon being there asking questions was only helping Agumon's cause. He'd find out much more soon.
So far he knew their names. Misa, SnowAgumon, and Veemon. That was a good place to start. He could only hope that Veemon would prove to be a good fight. If he was, then maybe he'd be able to seek him out again later.

Waving his hands before him with a sheepish smile, Veemon laughed nervously in his attempts to calm the now nervous digimon. It was a silly thing for him to forget, especially since he'd been living in the human world for a good week. All the while, he had simply called her his partner, not the formal status of Digi-destined. But it was a name that everyone in the Digital world knew. The heroes of their world and the own for that matter.
"Oops...I forgot! Don't worry! I'll tell her myself! No worries SnowAgumon..."
Turning his head around to look over his shoulder, the blue dragon smiled towards Misaka before beginning to speak.
"Digi-Destined are those that gain the ability to travel to our world. Not only that, but they gain the trust of a Digimon and usually are sent out on a great quest! You really don't know anything about them? Humans have been here before and did the same thing that you are right now...."
Misaka just stared with a blank look on her face. She had no idea what he was talking about. Digi-destined? Great quest? In till only recently, she hadn't even known what a digimon was? Yet now it seemed that there had been others that came here before her. If that was true, then why hadn't she heard about it? Wouldn't such a place be known world-wide if it existed?
"Veemon...I didn't know this world existed in till just a few days ago. If people have been here before, they never talked about......."
Veemon just stood there stunned, almost as if he had just heard the more horrible thing in his life. But was this really a bad thing? If word had gotten out about this place, it wouldn't really be the same? If anything, it might have been turned into some kind of theme park.
"I'm sorry...But....I don't think I'm a digi-destined. I just happened to pick this up after DemiVeemon jumped out of my computer screen.."
Holding up the digi-vice with her left hand, the teen just blinked as she waited to hear what they would say next.

"I'm sorry...But....I don't think I'm a digi-destined. I just happened to pick this up after DemiVeemon jumped out of my computer screen.."
SnowAgumon blinked at the digivice. She had seen those before. The digidestined she had met had all had them. She still shifted nervously. She still wasn't sure about this. It all felt to strange. She wasn't sure about this situation. She should probably leave. She felt very uncomfortable.
"If you have a digivice......." She glanced around fearfully, "Then you are a digidestined. Or one of them." She blinked. Of course! He was one of them! This human was here to take her away. Like so many of her friends had been taken away.
She kept edging away. It occurred to her that she should be running. Before they figured out that she was on to them. "I knew something was off about you! You are one of them!" She turned to run.

Agumon couldn't wait much longer. He wanted to fight. He wanted to stretch his legs out and get this battle started. It had been such a long time since he had a real battle and a real chance to fight to the best of his ability. Agumon quickly leaped up into the air and landed on the ground with a loud thud some 20 meters away from Veemon and Misaka.
"Pepper Flame!" Agumon cried out the name of his attack. A flame began to generate within his mouth and in only moments, he fired it. It was aimed directly at SnowAgumon with great power.

"What are you talking about? One of who!?"
Misaka could see the fear in the creature's face. It was almost as if she had been looking at a monster, one much bigger than herself. But the teen didn't understand why? Was it something she said? All she had stated was that she didn't believe she was a Digi-destined. Yet now it seemed that if she wasn't that, then she was something much more terrible. Yet as the young girl prepared to slowly go after her, something caught her attention, making her look up towards the sky.
As the figure landed not too far away, Misaka blinked in confusion when she realized that it was another dinosaur like digimon. But there was a difference between him and SnowAgumon. Along with the different colored hide, it appeared that this new one was much larger and more fearsome looking. It's character also was different as this one appeared to be ready for a fight as it began to gather what looked to be flames within it's mouth.
Veemon watched this, but then realized that it's target wasn't them, but the frightened digimon that had greeted them. Wasting very little time, the blue dragon rushed towards the SnowAgumon, attempting to push her out of the way so that the attack would hit him instead.

"What are you talking about? One of who!?"SnowAgumon was too scared to reply. She didn't want one of them to know how much she knew. She kept backing away. She had to get out of here, and fast! She glanced around to see if she had any route for escape. The huge digimon came out of no-where. She barely registered that he was an Agumon, before he spat an attack at her. It all happened so fast. She felt a pressure on her arm, she saw out of the corner of her eye that it was Veemon. NO! She couldn't let the little digimon get hurt. She pulled Veemon tight against her chest and turned her back to the attack. It hit her with immense power. She gasped from the force of the blow, staggering and only barely managing to keep her footing. She released Veemon and stumbled forward a few steps. Slowly, she turned to face her attacker. Wincing in pain before launching an attack of her own; "Frozen.... wind"She gasped for breath, the attack took its toll on her already waning strength. Her freezing attack hurled through the air at an amazing speed. She collapsed from the exertion of the hit she had taken and her powerful attack. At least she had protected Veemon, and her partner didn't seem to be in any danger.

The attack had landed successfully, although it seemed that the little Blue creature had attempted to get in the way. It didn't matter though. SnowAgumon was the one to take the damage in the end, though to Agumon, it felt like a very unfair hit. He didn't care much about the health of the other two digimon, but one thing that he did like was a fair fight. The dark Digimon growled.
In any case, he stood his ground. What he wanted more than anything was a tough fight. He didn't want to kill. That was not his intention. Or at least, he didn't want to kill a strong opponent when he could let them live to fight another day. Weaklings, however, were a different story. They had to at least show some potential. And so far, it seemed that they hadn't.
Seeing that SnowAgumon was attacking him once again, the Agumon prepared another one of his flame attacks. The flames built up from his stomach and were pushed up his throat. Followin this, he fired the blast powerfully from his mouth.
"Pepper Flame!" The attack would collide perfectly with SnowAgumon's attack. Agumon hoped to use this as a defense. And considering the type matchup, he hoped it would go through as well and possibly act offensively.

"Veemon!!"
Misaka could only watch as the two digimon seemed to put themselves in the way of the attack. Though in the end, the white shaded lizard had taken the blow, much to the dismay of Veemon. As happy as she was to see her partner safe, the young teen understood clearly what it was that the dragon was trying to do. He seemed to have a desire to protect others, even those he barely knew. Yet it looked like SnowAgumon shared that exact same drive. So did she for that matter, yet what could she do against something that could breath fire?
I don't even have a weapon....
All the girl could do was watch and hope that the duo would be able to find a way to deal with this direct attack against them.
"What are you thinking?! This guy is throwing fireballs you know!?"
Rushing over to the side of the snow white digimon, Veemon looked out towards the distance, seeing that the creature had used it's own attack as a counter-measure against her own. Placing himself in front of her, the blue dragon smirked as he then looked back towards his new friend and nodded in her direction. He didn't want her to get hurt, especially after how nice she had been towards them. Not only that, but he wanted to show her that they weren't the enemy. Whatever she was scared of, Veemon didn't want it to be them.
"Let me handle this! You just rest and look after Misa for me. I can take on melon head..."
With a grin the Veemon dashed off towards the Agumon, his expressing becoming serious as he called out towards him.
"My turn jerk! Lets see you take me on! Vee-Headbutt!!"
Launching himself the rest of the way, the dragon aimed his head towards the other digimon, hoping to land a hit directly in it's face.

"What are you thinking?! This guy is throwing fireballs you know!?"
SnowAgumon blinked at the little dragon digimon. Of course she knew that he was throwing fireballs. It was a bit hard not to notice when you were struck in the back with one. She tried to reply to the other digimon, but all that came out of her mouth was a strangled gasp. She coughed, trying to take a deep breath, but to no avail.
"Let me handle this! You just rest and look after Misa for me. I can take on melon head..."
She reached out and tried to grab Veemon to pull him back, out of the line of fire. He seemed to small to fight the huge Agumon. Also...... she and the hostile Agumon looked virtually the same..... except for the color and size. She would have chuckled if she could have.
