Hanzō and Ryudamon had finally arrived to a place that seemed very calm and absence of other people. Looking out across the massive lake, the could see everything across it. Only thing that was partially around the lake were the line of trees that they had just exited from. They both just fell across the ground on the edge of the lake. The sun beating down on them as looked at each other.
"Think we found a decent place to relax at from the recent events that have taken place?"
"Well, if I remember correctly, the name of this lake is Dragon Eye's Lake. So by name I feel comfortable here."
"Well, that makes me feel comfortable too then." Hanzō's tone was rather sarcastic.
"Or we could continue to walk to no end."
Hanzō laughed at his friends words. That was honestly the last thing they wanted to do. For once, Hanzō despised the idea of walking. His feet were sore and they weren't really able to find a place to properly rest at. He began to wonder if he should head home soon.

"Why are you following me."
"Because I'm your partner!"
"Why are you following me."
Tetsuya stopped and looked back at the floating dragon thing following him, glaring at it. It glared back at him.
"Because I'm your partner"
The human and digimon continued to glare at each other, one's stubbornness equaling the other. But the glaring contest didn't last long, as Babydmon's short attention span captured his mind and he started glancing around. That's when he spotted the nearby lake and vending machines.
"Oh! Look! Dragon Eye's Lake!"
"Well, you go have fun with that then."
Tetsuya turned and started walking back into the forest, Babydmon flying after him.
"Oh! But there's another human down there! With a digimon too!"
"Wait, what?"
The brown haired teen ran back to where he had been standing, and sure enough in the distance there was what looked like a young boy and a digimon. He grinned and ran down to the beach and along the water to where they were, Babydmon trying his hardest to keep up with him.
"Hey!"

Hanzō and Ryudamon looked at each other as they heard voices again. Seemed that things wouldn't slow down just yet for them. Hanzō would sigh to himself and look back towards the sky. At least these voices didn't sound feminine in anyway. That was a major relief off his shoulders, especially with the luck he was having with them lately.
Ryudamon got up and faced towards the direction that the voices were coming in. It seemed that they were bickering or something. Nonetheless they had seen their whereabouts, their voices echoing off the lake. The Digimon turned back to his partner to look at him staring to the sky. "Looks like we have visitors again."
"That's fine. Just make sure they aren't woman."
The two newcomers finally walked towards them and the human greeted them. Hanzō rolled over and got up, sliding his hands into his jacket pockets. "What's up?" The boy then looked at the others digimon, it was still in its In-Training form still. Maybe, it had choose to stay in that form. Shrugging it off, Hanzō brought his eyes back to what seemed to be a slightly older male.

Tetsuya stopped in front of the younger boy and bent over, out of breath from running down to the beach. Babydmon had attempted to keep up, but he couldn't fly very fast and kept falling behind. Stopping beside Tetsuya, the baby dragon digimon looked up to his partner.
"What's the big idea leaving me behind like that!? I'm supposed to be your partner, not just something you can forget about and leave behind!"
What was this creature blabbering on about this time? Tetsuya glared down at the little flying dragon. He was curious at how it could stay airborne for so long, but at the same time irritated with its tone of voice.
"What do I care, little lizard? Nothing! Absolutely nothing!"
"I saved your life!"
"Blowing putrid steam into the face of a giant bug is saving my life? I was right to get out of there when I did!"
This bickering went on for a handful more minutes before Tetsuya remembered there was another boy there, one who was a couple years younger than himself. He froze mid-sentence and turned to look at the boy, who hadn't said more than a "What's up?".
"Oh, right. You. I-"
"He wants to go back home, I suppose. Not that I care. I don't care at all. He can go home and be as lazy as he wants to be."
Babydmon blew out a puff of steam in agitation and looked up at Tetsuya. The older male stared down at the digimon, his anger getting the best of him.
"Listen here, you lizard. I get enough of that crap from my mom, I don't need it from you too!"
And the bickering continued.

Hanzō raised an eyebrow at the two as they started to argue. These two were something interesting to watch. Some of the partners that he had been running into lately, were all of different caliber. Seemed the older male was not to happy to have a partner digimon though. Maybe he hasn't dealt with the development and companionship yet.
Cleaning out his ears with his pinky, he squinted at him as he began to get annoyed by the bickering. "Could you two tone it down a bit? Ya'll act like you have a sibling rivalry going on."
"Well, that could come from being partners, no two pairing will have the same outcome either. It all depends on the personality traits they have in common."
Ryudamon made some sense in his statement. Hanzō looked back and forth between the two. "So what are you two's names? At least tell me them before ya'll start fighting again." Placing his hands into his pockets now, he would tilt his head slightly to the left. His eyes were sizing the two of them up. What could that both have that brought them together.

Tetsuya was just about to strangle the small dragon thing when he heard the younger boy ask him to tone it down. He crossed his arms and turned away from the digimon. If Babydmon had had arms, he would have crossed his arms as well, but he turned away in the opposite direction. The two of them radiated an aura that clearly stated they were on foul terms with one another.
"Whatever. What do you want, kid?"
Tetsuya glanced sideways towards the younger teen, his back still to the in-training digimon. Babydmon was silently fuming, wondering why he had been so excited to pair up with such an ungrateful human. Sure he hadn't been that much help, but if Tetsuya hadn't run off, he could have stayed and fought the bug digimon. But he was more concerned for his partner and followed him. What a mistake that was.
"Names, huh? Well, I'm Motomiya Tetsuya. I'm not sure what the little green lizard is called."
The digimon shouted indignantly, "Babydmon! and resumed his quiet sulking.
"Well, there's your answer. Mind telling your names?"

Hanzō was shocked that he was able to get them to stop fighting. He let out a sigh of relief and listened to them as they answered his question. His thoughts went back to wondering why they didn't get along. Did the guy not accept his partner? That wasn't good, so maybe he had to give them a little push.
"Name's Hanzō and this is Ryudamon."
Ryudamon bowed his head at them and looked up at the human. "So, why is it that ya'll don't get along? I know we just met but you are the first two we have met that bicker more then work together. Have you not accepted your destiny yet? Or is it that you don't like drastic change?"
Hanzō realized that Ryudamon brought up a good point. Yet, how would they take it. It was a little upfront and personal. He wouldn't really say anything cause he wanted to see how they would react to this question first. He honestly didn't care if they did or didn't, he knew not everyone could handle this situation the same.
