There was still much of the Digital World that Misaka hadn't come to understand. Much of it dealing with the situation that seemed to be happening within it. Other humans had managed to find their way into the world, people that weren't exactly the most friendly. It explained why some of the monsters she'd encountered had taken her at face value as someone that wanted to bring them harm. This wasn't true, but it did make her wonder exactly what this people had been doing? Not to mention how such a group could get here if they weren't supposedly destined? Though that wasn't the say that she was any different.
Misaka had yet to accept herself as a Digi-destined, it just didn't feel right. There wasn't much that really stood out about her. In fact, the young teen thought she was pretty plain. Sure, she had many friends and even some boys that believed her to be complete stunning, but she never really considered herself that extraordinary. The girl was just ordinary. A Digi-destined just seemed like an unfitting title.
But wasn't that what she wanted? To be special?
Other than this odd mystery surrounding the world, another came from what she happened to find herself wearing upon waking the following morning. Her clothes had been changed in her sleep, replaced with a white lightweight hoodie with short sleeves. A pink skirt that barely reached her knees, and a pair of white short platform heeled sandals with a bow attached at each ankle. Her first assumption was that someone had managed to change her without her realizing it, but Veemon had stayed up all night and hadn't seen anything. In fact, he stated that he hadn't even realized she'd changed in till she had rise from their small camp that morning.
Trying to hide how disturbed she was by this, the teen simply dropped the issue for the time being. After all, it wasn't as if she hadn't been changed before by a complete stranger. When she had gotten hurt during a tournament, she had been taken care of by a female nurse. So there wasn't too much of a difference. Nor did she feel any thing was wrong with her. So instead of worrying, Misaka would just chalk it up as another digital mystery.
The humidity surrounding the dense jungle was almost as bad as the intense heat of the desert. The previous day the duo had counted themselves lucky to have even made it to such a place covered in green, though now she was starting to miss the dry breeze of the sandy wind across her face. Their hunt for answers had taken them across the desert to this place, yet now they had no idea where to go next? After all, it was assumed that they would be able to find digimon or possibly other people that might have answers. But Misaka was starting to have her doubts, and her concerns.
How long had she been here? It was clear to her that her parents were likely very worried. Not to mention that she would have to explain herself as soon as she returned. If anything, she could say that she was on a school trip and simply forgot to give them notice? That could work, if she managed to get Ryu to back her up. After all, she was one a few advance classes with him.
"Who am I kidding? I'm so dead...."
Lowering her head as the duo roamed though the green and brightly colorful landscape, Veemon looked up towards her with a grin as he nudged her side gently with his elbow.
"Don't worry Misa! Everything will be ok! Besides....We can always tell them that you went to the Digital World....Wait...we can't do that can we? Oh! I know....Maybe your folks can think you were kidnapped! But you escaped and managed to get home ok!"
Looking down towards the dragon, Misaka smirked before placing her hands on her hips as she stopped walking for a moment.
"That's a good idea Veemon...But then I have to explain where the kidnapper went and have the whole city looking for a guy that doesn't exist..."
The blue dragon nodded but then frowned as he shook his head before resting both hands behind his head.
"You're so negative.....It could work!"
"Not in a million years....."
"Hey....at least I'm helping..."
Giggling lightly as she leaned back against a tree, the girl sighed as she returned her focus on the task at hand. They needed information on this group. What were their intentions? Who were they? Why did they want to take digimon hostage?

Hanzō and Ryudamon had left Toy Town to see if they can transverse to somewhere new. Maybe they could find the home Ryudamon came from. So for that to happen they had to go back into the Tropical Jungle but in a different direction. Shouldn't be hard if they kept going, wasn't like they didn't have the stamina for it.
They cut through the bush as they scouted around. Hoping that they didn't run into something they couldn't handle. That or they could find something very useful. From what Ryudamon said there were special objects in this world that could make him stronger. Hanzō put his hand in the pocket of his jacket as he felt his digivice.
The digivice is what made him who he was today. He felt like he was still the same person, but slightly more mature. Nonetheless, he still had no one close to him. One person that he had a crush on, but she didn't show no interest in him. To him that meant that she wasn't interested in him.
Seemed odd that in the predicament that he was in, he still thought of her though. He shook the thought from his head and pressed on. Ryudamon noticed that his pace had picked up and looked upp at him as he had to fall to his frontal legs to keep up with Hanzō.
"What's on your mind?"
"Nothing, Let's keep moving."
"Not good to hold everything in, you know."
"This is one of those things, I would rather keep to myself."
Ryudamon just shrugged, and leaped over a bush and around the tree as the came up an open path. They looked left and right as the made it to the middle. Hanzō noticed someone that was very familiar with him

"You're still thinking about what SnowAgumon was talking about aren't you?"
Veemon looked up towards his human companion, blinking as he kept his hand upon the back of his head while staring at her with a calm expression. The creature could see that the thought of people attacking digimon wasn't sitting well with her. Even though she didn't want to admit it, the girl was truly a Digi-destined. Because only someone with such a destiny would care about a world that wasn't even her own. In fact, the young teen hadn't even mention the idea of returning to her own world since finding out about this individuals. Her focus was set on learning more about them.
"It just doesn't seem right. I thought Digi-destined and people with digi-vices were the only ones that could enter this world. If so, then how did just cruel people get here?"
Maybe she was asking a silly question? After all, it would be pretty obvious how such a thing was possible. Not all Digi-destined were noble. It was in human nature for people to become greedy and want more. Misaka was no exception, but she would never do something like this. To her, this kind of behavior was heartless and evil. But there was nothing she could really do about it. Even if she did manage to find out what this was all about, she was just one girl.
Leaning her head back against the tree behind her, the teen looked to the side of her as movement within the distance caught her attention. Veemon sensed the same, standing in front of her as he prepared for the worse.

Hanzō and Ryudamon turned their bodies now in the direction of a human and their digimon partner. Man, this place was becoming full of people he knew from home. What was the like a convention from them in the Digital World? At least some of these people were people he could tolerate being around.
Hanzō looked at Ryudamon and gestured towards them. "Seems like we have run into someone else I know. Maybe this will go better then that fiasco back there. Only thing is, that's Kazai's sister." Starting to walk towards Misaka. He kept his hands inside of his jacket pockets, gripping his digivice.
Ryudamon just trotted along next to his human partner. Ryudamon could only feel sorry for his friend. Kazai seemed like she was a girl confused about her feelings. That confusion and hurt his friends heart. The digimon could sense that, even though Hanzō wouldn't say it himself. "Well, I hope she isn't like her sister. I can't see why you would have a crush on someone like her."
They both got closer to them and Hanzō had just a stern look on his face. His mood at the moment really wasn't that bright. "Hey there, Misaka. You looked exhausted. When did you arrive in the Digital World?"

Hattori Hanzo. The young man was one of the few people that Misaka ever saw her sister hang around with during school. That being the case, she considered him a very important piece in the girl's life. After all, for a girl who didn't do very well in social situations, having someone to talk to was a step in the right direction. Though seeing him here was quite the surprise. It actually made her wonder just how many other people from their area happened to have been given a Digi-vice?
"Hanzo! Hey!"
With a wave of her hand, the teen smiled as she looked down at Veemon and patted his head gently.
"Its ok! He's one of Kazai's friends....."
Blinking for a moment, the blue digimon grinned before nodding and rushing over towards the newcomers.
"Whats up!? Name's Veemon!!"
Extending his out hand towards Ryudamon, Misaka walked up behind him and sighed as she rested one hand on her hip while shaking her head.
"Easily excited to make a new friend aren't you?"
Laughing softly, the young girl returned her attention towards the other youth and blinked as he spoke towards her. Running her hand through her hair, the teen once again began trying to count the days. It couldn't have been that long could it? After all, it only seemed like yesterday that she had arrived in this place.
"It's been a long trip. I'd say about a week? But what are you doing here?"
It wasn't as though she could ask if he was stranded, not that anyone was. A fact that she had learned from a group consisting of her little cousin and her friend.

Hanzō was shocked to hear how long she had been here. The amount of time that they both of spent here was almost equal. She had him beat by a couple of days of course. He wondered if the time here was equal to the time back in their world. His father wouldn't be worried cause Hanzō had run off before. As long as he came back home, his father was fine.
Ryudamon looked at the Veemon as he came up to him and put his hand out to shake Veemon's. "Name is Ryudamon. I believe you're a Dragon type just like myself, no?" It was nice to run into different digimon that carried the same attribute and type. Finding both was a rarity itself.
Hanzō looked at Misaka as he took his eyes away from Veemon. "A week is quite some time. I'm only here cause I want to help Ryudamon recover his memory. When he was brought to the Human World, he lost fragments of it. So we can here to help him recollect some things and see if we can remember that which he has lost."

Chuckling as he nodded in agreement, Veemon smiled towards his fellow dragon as he continued to take his hand while resting the other behind his neck. He hadn't seen many dragon-type digimon as of yet. Though he counted SnowAgumon as one, she looked so much like a dinosaur that he wasn't sure if it counted. Of course, the same thing could be said for Ryudamon. Not that he cared too much about types. In the end, all of them were digimon.
"Yup!"
Closing the distance between himself and the armor hided creature, the Veemon knelt down close to his ear as he whispered towards him.
"Between us....Is your human really friends with Kazai? The girl isn't exactly...social..."
While the two digimon conversed with each other, Misaka listened to Hanzo and held a shocked look on her face before turning her gaze towards his partner and then back to him. That sounded terrible. To not remember anything at all, she could only imagine the confusion going through the monster. But thankfully, the young boy was helping his friend in the best way that he could. In fact, it seemed like he had the right idea in mind.
"That's awful...But at least he has a friend like you to help. Have you found anything so far?"
Misaka was hoping that the duo had come to some kind of lead in their problem. if not, maybe she could help? After all, it wasn't as if she could just let them go without offering, especially since four heads would be better than one.

Hanzō let off a small smile as she seemed to have complimented him for being a good friend. Well, Ryudamon was the only true friend he had ever had. He always took by the decisions that Hanzō had made and given advice. Still, their decisions never seemed to differ from one another.
Ryudamon looked at the Veemon as he asked the question about Kazai. He laughed at him and lifted his right arm to scratch his head. "Well, she seemed oddly different from when I met her, compared to what Hanzō said about her. Slightly social, yet she doesn't really care about people's feelings it seems. She is only looking out for herself."
Hanzō walked closer to Misaka as their digimon talked. "Honestly, I've ran into villages but nothing that would lead the way home yet. Have you seen anything that could possibly allow that?" He wondered now if that was what she was asking exactly. Maybe she was asking if he had seen anything cool in this strange new world to them.

"Can't say I have? Maybe I might have missed something, but everything here seems so out of place. The trees in the desert by a lake. The fact that there are villages that could house kittens. Not to mention that there were people here a long time around..."
Misaka was referring to the Digi-destined mention in all the locations she'd been. So far, it seemed that they had been around for some time, building up a name for being heroes. Yet with their access to this world and their own, none of them had ever stated or talked about it within the media. As far as she knew, only people who had recently been here were aware of it's existence.Reaching behind her, the young teen pulled out the medical kit she had been given, pointing towards it's rust and the expiration date on it's back.
"The last humans to have come here were from a long time ago, yet the digimon still talk about them. Of course, they also talk about a lot of other things. Something so terrible to the point that one digimon almost ran away from me as though I was going to kill her..."
As she looked towards the young boy with a calm expression, Veemon listened to the other digimon's comment, blinking with surprise when he heard the answer.
"Really? You think so? I mean...I know she can be mean but I didn't think she was selfish. Just very moody.."
In truth, Veemon didn't have much dislike for Kazai. While she could be a jerk at times, she was still a good person. At least, that was what Misa always told him. The girl just had a very hard time expressing these feelings. That in mind, if Misa seemed to believe in her, the dragon didn't see why he couldn't either? After all, there were miracles in the world.

Hanzō stared at the medical kit. Seemed that this group of digidestines he had met so far, were not the only ones to have come here. Now he wondered how old this world could be. Did it run parallel to their own world? There had to be a way of finding this all out. First question was, where to start.
"Well, if that's the case then, someone should know some more accurate answers around here. Think we should get moving so we can figure things out more. This has become an even bigger mystery. One that I think we should solve, so we can help our own generation possibly. Which direction do you think we should head in?"
Ryudamon shrugged at Veemon. "Well, I just seen a situation, where she tried to play with my partner's feelings and another guys. She happened to choose the other guy over him, and it got Hanzō kind of down. From what I know, he has been trying to show her affection for so long. So seeing that, well, it kind of broke his heart. And now we're here." The digimon heard his over his partner. "Oh, I think it's almost time to move, but I suggest not getting to close to her. She seems conflicted about her own personal ways at the moment."

It was a mystery indeed. One that had become so interesting that Misaka had even given up trying to get home to figure it out. The one thing she knew was that it all had to be connected in some way. Such a discovery wouldn't have been hidden. Not unless there was a reason behind it. But then, what could have scared these Digi-destined so much to remain silent? Who could be a threat to heroes? While she was certain the answer wouldn't come right away, the teen was ready to keep on the search.
"I don't have the slightest clue. I was told that there would be someone in the jungle that might be able to give me some answers, but so far I haven't see anyone. So maybe the next step would be to go the Misty Tree's area..."
Cupping one hand under her chin, Misaka looked back towards Hanzo before looking over her shoulder at his friend. He had said something about not getting too close to her. Just what exactly did he mean by that?
"What do you mean by that? I have a pretty good idea where I'm going...Kinda..."
It was then that the girl felt what seemed to be rain, causing her to place her hoodie over her head as she then felt it pour down rapidly upon them.
Veemon looked around and blinked as he was still trying to understand what Ryudamon meant by his human having feelings for Kazai. What other kind of feelings were there? Did he want to be more than friends with the girl? If so, why would Kazai play with his emotions? Misa would never do something like that. But then again, he had only seen her talk to guys, not really date any of them. Though his thoughts on this matter were soon pushed aside as he stated to feel the chill of the raindrops against his skin.
"Maybe we should find some cover somewhere!"

Hanzō nodded his understanding. It would really be good to learn more of this place and its past. What if they were able to defeat the adversity that had befallen them? That would make their names famous. Though, Hanzō wouldn't care to much for that. Yet, he couldn't turn this opportunity down. Maybe he would even figure out where his destiny truly laid.
"Let's head there the first chance we get. Just gotta figure out how to get there. You think one of those villages would know? Or should we just explore on our own?"
"I wish I could help with that. Though my memory is blurred on this area of the continents. I wish more would come back to me already."
"Hey man, in time we will find out were all this is taking us and I'm sure along the way your memory will come back to you. Remember, this is why we came back in the first place. Though, for now I agree with Veemon." Pulling the hood over his head, as the way was beginning to annoy him.

It took a moment of searching the surrounding area, but the blue dragon noticed a small cave not too far from them, dashing towards it as he waved for the others to follow. Misaka wasn't really sure about the location, but it seemed a lot better than simply standing in the sudden rain storm. Making her way through the jungle, the teen followed her digimon companion, arriving within the cover of the rock cavern. Shaking her hair after removing her hood, the girl then giggled as she watched Veemon do the same with his whole body.
"I didn't know you were a dog now Veemon?"
"I'm not...But I don't like getting wet anymore than you do..."
Smiling as she let her body slide down to the floor, Misaka awaited Hanzo and Ryudamon to make their way there, sighing as she looked out the opening at the rain. It almost held a sense of magic to it. The rain fell so gracefully upon the leaves, creating miniature rainbows as the water reflected the stray rays of sunlight. It was beautiful, reminding her of the times she had imagined venturing a jungle like this. Of course, that was when she was little.
"You know? Part of me still wonders if I'm dreaming all this up. The Digital World is full of so many wonderful things. Even these locations seem like something right out of a story book. So beautiful. Not to mention all the mystery that is held within it...."
