She stood in front to the ferris wheel all alone. Everything was dazzling that night and beautiful, it was a jovial evening. Although Tomoko didn't feel any joy in her heart this time. She was waiting a good hour or two for her friend that she invited to hang out with her but it was a "no show". It was turning out to be a crummy night, Tomoko wanted to go home.
But what if she comes right at this moment? If she left right now and her friend came, that would make her feel like the bad guy in this situation. The red haired girl tried calling a couple of times but no answer. She sat down with a sigh, looking down at her feet with a blank stare.
There was a small rustle in her backpack. A small green ball with purple spikes growing out of it poked it's head out. It was Budmon who didn't look too happy herself. Budmon was disappointed of her partner's so called friend. The sweet girl she knew oh so well does not deserve to be left hanging. Of all the nerve! Kids these days! The plant shook her head ... so to speak. As more time went by, Tomoko waited and waited. She went into a state of sadness that worried her partner. It wasn't like her to be this sad, she showed very misty eyes and tears swelled. It wasn't a problem to be left alone at home because she knew her parents would be back some time. When it something like meeting a someone at such a wonderful place like this, well, if you don't show up that shows what kind of person you are. And not a very good person to be exact.

The sparkling lights of the ferris wheel reflected brightly from Gaoki's huge yellow eyes as she looked around. Sakura had been spending the better of the last couple days just showing the disguised digimon around Odaiba. Their tour was running late tonight, but Sakura insisted night time was the best time to check out this place. "It's very pretty Sakura." She said, her tail though invisible, wagged slightly with delight.
"Yeah, it's three hundred and thirty-seven feet high and fantastic for getting a great view of Odaiba" Sakura explained, looking up at the Ferris wheel as well. She occasionally came here with friends during the day. She loved the view up there and it was a nice way to spend time with friends and just hang out. "There are couples that come here too. It is kinda romantic when it's all lit up."
Gaoki smiled mischievously when her partner mentioned the romantic aspect of it. "You should bring Hanzo here some time." She teased. The Gaomon certainly wasn't blind to the budding relationship between the two digidestined. The two couldn't even meet up for lunch and discussion without it turning out to be a date.
"I guess if we could snag our own car it would be a good place to discuss things without-- Wait you.." Sakura had initially missed her partner's tease, but caught it. Her face turned red and she stared at Gaoki indignantly. "Oh come on, you don't think it's that serious do you?" She questioned. Hanzo was a nice guy and all, but Sakura couldn't say she was openly searching for a relationship.
Gaoki giggled as Sakura proceeded to go into denial mode. Humans could be so silly sometimes. "You certainly were eying him a lot yesterday. You two would be cute together!" Gaoki insisted, smiling innocently. She wasn't too big in the world of love herself, but even she could tell there were sparks flying between her partner and Hanzo. Ahh well. We'll have to see how it pans out. She thought to herself.
Great, I ended up with a partner that wants to play match-maker! Sakura thought, stifling a chuckled. Whatever was the case, she'd figure things out as it went along. Right now, they had a Ferris wheel to ride. As they approached the front of the ferris wheel, Sakura couldn't help but notice a girl sulking nearby. "Uh oh." Sakura frowned. She didn't know the girl, but she did seem quite sad.
Gaoki frowned at the girl as she noticed her too. A strange red headed human so down, at a beautiful place like this! "Maybe her boyfriend didn't show up?" She guessed sadly. Gaoki pitied the girl. This place should be fun, not sad...
"Come on." Sakura said to Gaoki. It wouldn't do any harm to go up and say hello right? The girl was obviously down in the dumps, and who knows, she might be able to brighten someone's day today! So she walked up to her, eyes wide with concern. "Hello there, is there something we can do to help you?" She asked politely, trying not to be too intrusive.

She didn't move for a while, Tomoko was a lifeless statue compared to the atmosphere around her. At first she didn't respond to Sakura's inquiry. She was a little slow at the moment, recollecting her thoughts. There was a flush of red on her cheeks when she finally noticed the other girls.
"Hm? .. Oh hi, I was waiting for a friend. But I guess she couldn't come. I'm not sure how you could help me but it would be nice if I had someone to hang out with." Her cheeks become a rosy red after her reply and smiled. She wasn't really sure that was a straight answer or what the person wanted to hear.
Budmon looked at the other girl and kept a solemn stare. Something felt off she she couldn't quite wrap her mind around it. After a few moments of pondering she disregarded and lowered her head. Tomoko looked down again only to make sure she zipped up her bag. She looked up once more making eye contact with the others.
"So, I'm Tomoko are what are your names?" The red haired girl thought it would be nice to exchange names. It didn't hurt to tell right? Already she was in a slightly better mood. The fact that her friend didn't show almost escaped her mind.

Sakura stared at the girl as she awaited a response, but it seemed like she was going to ignore them. Well, we tried. Sakura thought. If she wanted to be alone, then that was that. Sakura took a step away, only to stop when the girl finally spoke up. Well, their suspicions were mostly correct. She had been stood up by a friend. Sakura felt sorry for her. Failing to show up for a friend certainly wasn't a very friendly thing to do.
"We can hang out!" Sakura said with a friendly smile. "I was just showing Gaoki here the ferris wheel. She's from out of town, so I've been giving her the grand tour all day." Sakura explained. There was definitely room for one or many more and having another person to share their tour with would make it all the more fun.
Gaoki's intense yellow gaze shifted to the girl's bag, almost catching the gaze of something inside before the girl zipped it up. She could see it move slightly as it's contents settled, and she could smell plant matter inside, that smelled much like the plants of the digital world. Was there a digimon inside? Maybe there were human world plants that smelled like digital world plants.
If it is a digimon, it probably isn't dangerous if it's sitting quietly in her bag. Gaomon reasoned to herself, deciding not to point it out in case she was mistaken. She looked back to Tomoki as she introduced herself, and smiled. "My name is Gaoki. It's nice to meet you." Gaoki said, nodding her head.
"and My name's Sakura." Sakura added to her partner's response. Now they were all introduced, it was time they did something other than stand around here. "So how about we go ride the Ferris Wheel?" She suggested. Of course, that's what they all came for. Might as well get in line now, unless Tomoko had other ideas.

Strange as the pair looked, you probably wouldn't have thought they were monsters. Quite Literally, monsters.
One of two monsters was called Glenn. Well, it's name was actually Gazimon, but you see, Gazimon wasn't entirely human appropriate. So as long as this creature appeared relatively human, it stood to reason that it should go by the name of Glenn. It walked slowly in the crowd of humans, inhaling all sorts of scents, a wild variety seemed to be flooding this place, not to mention the fact that there were so many sights. This monster, Glenn, was overwhelmed, amused, and interested by everything going on around him...or maybe it was a her, and its companion. Who was, as far as the Gazimon had observed, very much a female.
It was evening, this much was clear, quite interesting that the human world shared similar times as the Digital world, the Glenn had to wonder, which one came first, or perhaps they were sister planets. Though, investigating this would be used at a later date, currently they were following a human child with blond long hair, and what appeared to be a Digimon also in disguise following her. A human slave. The Gazimon had to feel very pleased with this, humans were a great example of how Digimon could be enslaved as used for their own needs, protection, or otherwise entertainment. Some humans would often call their Human Slaves "friends", but this Digimon knew better than that, humans were too clever just to use something so powerful as a Digimon, for the mere purpose of companionship.
It's blue gaze didn't leave the blond human for a second, feminine hand clutching it's cane, as though wanting to pounce on the human. It loved the children, so dearly, it really did. It just wanted to cling to this female Digidestined, and hold her in it's arms, feel the human body. Perhaps break her, if only just to see what happened to her, and how her Human Slave would react. Perhaps at a later date, the Gazimon and other Herder were not here simply for fun, this was business, and that was by far more important, now wasn't it?
A few humans pushed past Glenn, making though it's attention did not pull away from the human girl and her pet in disguise. It followed, limping ever so quickly after her, blue eyes glanced back at the other Herder, called Saber, in hopes she'd follow. Where ever could she be going? Would she bring them to more humans with slaves? It kept limping after her, and then stopped abruptly before getting to close, and noticeable, it seemed she was speaking to another human girl, this one though, wasn't as physically acceptable in appearance, and it appeared sad, distressed for some reason. Human tears? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? What was bringing this human to suck drastic feelings? A small smile appeared on his or her lips, watching this scene. Which was odd, because all it was or thought it was feeling, was a strong curiosity. However, in reality, it was that feeling of extreme distressing loneliness it had mistaken for curiosity all its life.
The blond seemed to interested in this other human, perhaps it cheer the other up. The scene continued, and the Gazimon watched as if he or she was in a Movie Theatre, minus the annoying people sitting next to you, and the intoxicating smell of popcorn and spilt soda. Then it heard something that instantly took its interest "So how about we go ride the Ferris Wheel?" Why? Why? Why? ...no Yes! Perhaps they could follow these two on, it certainly would be a most..interesting meeting. "Shall we follow them on-ollow them on?" asked the Gazimon out loud, female voice echoing its masculine voice shortly after.
(SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG! and if you see anything I screwed up...sorry again!)

Such was the night in a city; dazzlingly bright despite the sun having departed below the horizon a few hours ago. People rushed past hither-dither, pushing through the crowds, laughing, loud voices ringing out from all sides as they enjoyed the evening. Over it all rose the colossal Ferris Wheel, twinkling with thousands of lights, which clung to it's sides like iridescent diamonds. The atmosphere was awash with things to stimulate all the senses at once, and would have provided to be a very effective distraction had there not been a goal set in place for the odd pair weaving their way through the crowd. They were impostors, creatures baring masks so effective no one person even gave them a second glance; something that suited them well in such an environment and while on such a task.
Thus far it involved a girl, little more then a child, and her "friend", who was just as alien to this world as they. One of those ones fortunate enough to be able to be a part of this world, and yet unfortunate enough to be robbed of their independence and whose existence here was only possible thanks to the metaphorical shackles, binding them to their human. Perhaps not a lack of free will, but an inability to remain here on their own agenda. These two however, self dubbed by the names Saber and Glenn to better suit the world, were granted the benefits of the human world without the need to be stuck beside a human, no matter how interesting they might be. It was a choice, and as of now, it was the blond girl and her digimon partner.
Oh the girl seemed at peace, smiling, chatting with her companion and taking in the surroundings, not having yet seemed to notice the two who had been casually tailing her for the last little while, perhaps waiting for the right moment to reveal themselves. Saber herself, sporting dark sunglasses to conceal her somewhat intense, almost verging on luminescent orange eyes, walked just a tad behind her companion, despite the fact they were the one with a cane. Saber was, and always had been somewhat fascinated and infatuated with the human world, and this here was just one more reason to add to the list. There was just so much..so many people, so many feelings, actions, beliefs and personalities. A thousand and one different lives built up to this point, and equally, a thousand and one ways to tear them down. All you needed were the right words and information. It always made her wonder, what would it be?
Dodging around a small group of people (and fighting back the urge to retaliate in a less then socially acceptable manner) that had so rudely decided to push right in between them, she came to a slow beside Glenn, watching. Their girl had stopped, or at least momentarily, then seemed to change whatever course she had been on to head toward another figure; red haired, alone and sad. From what she had observed, (or perhaps she was assuming) their girl had not been intending to stop here but now had, to help out it seemed. Like Glenn, she too was a curious one, and watched the scene. What sort of tears were these? Fear? Sadness? Happiness? Pain? She strained to hear but found it exceedingly difficult. One of the negatives certainly judging by her face...oh how fun it would be to toy with that, just to see...but this one was not their target
Or wait. What was this now?
A question (or was it an opportunity?), posed by the blond girl, then by Glenn itself.
"Shall we follow them on-ollow them on?" A slight smile curved across her lips. It could be fun. Handy even. Not only that, but the whole thing could be accompanied by a dramatic view of the city; a bonus as heights were something she loved.
♫ To corner them like little mice? ♪ She asked casually, though it being almost a rhetorical question. ♩Oh I think so. Did you really even have to ask?♫ She glanced again in their direction, knowing that they would have to hurry in order to beat the throngs of people heading toward the wheel. After all, they would have to aim for a very specific position in the line, and still without attracting the attention of the others. Or at least, not yet.

"So how about we go ride the Ferris Wheel?"
Yes, yes, yes! That is an amazing idea! I will probably have a talking or two with my 'friend' but still! She didn't know how else to thank them other than pulling the other two girls into a warm embrace. "Well it's nice to meet you two and that's sounds like a wonderful idea!"
It was a complete one-eighty degree change in her mood. Not only did she meet new people that were nice, but they offered to take their time to spend with her. She quickly let her arms loosen from the hug and then backed away a little with a huge smile. This moment was definitely a highlight of her week, maybe even month. Tomoko was so excited from the turn of the situation.
At one point she was jumping up and down, she was a pogo stick if you will. Some wandering eyes followed her movements as she bounced up and down like a child at Disneyland. She had her bag with her the whole time, Tomoko had almost forgotten about Budmon. The small plant digimon was at a daze when she had stopped bouncing. Her stomach didn't feel quite right, I think I'm going to be sick, Budmon thought to herself. She held back her lunch before disdainfully swallowing whatever came up.
Tomoko looked down at her bag, but something caught her eye. One had gorgeous orange colored irises with raven black hair. The other, well, she wasn't sure it was a boy or a girl. Nonetheless he or she had a pretty hair color. She glanced over at the the two then down to her bag then to the other girls. To her it was very awkward. Why those people? Then again they did have some pretty unusual coloring for people.
She had a second thought about them. Maybe they chose to wear contacts that changed your eye color. As well as recolored their hair, or something. Her mind wandered a little but no for too long. "Shall he head on the the wheel now? Maybe we could get to know each other more that way." Tomoko suggested, keeping a hopeful smile on her face.

While they did set out to cheer Tomako up, neither Sakura nor Gaoki were expecting the sudden embrace. The surprise wore off quickly though, and the hug was returned quite happily. Mission success! Sakura thought happily, though she hadn't come into it thinking it would be this easy to flip her frown upside down. Sakura smiled back, Tomoko's excitement making her feel quite elated as well.
Gaoki smiled too, though her mouth twitched, and her bright yellow eyes widened with concern as Tomako began jumping up and down. She knew whatever plant was in her bag would likely be damaged by her jumping up and down like that. "Err... the plant in your bag... You should be careful with it." Gaoki said, not realizing that as a 'human' she shouldn't have been able to detect it's scent. A moment later she realized she had said something wrong though, as her partner had shot her a panicked look.
Gaomon! She thought, forcing her expression into an awkward smile. Her mind raced for an excuse to cover her partner's slip up. "Heh, Gaoki's got an incredible sense of smell. You'd think she was part dog or something!" She laughed uneasily. I'm a terrible liar.. She thought, knowing it was unlikely their awkwardness wouldn't at the very least raise suspicion from their new friend.
Uh-oh... Gaoki thought. She managed to screw up rather quickly, but how was she supposed to know how weak human senses were supposed to be? She scratched her head, trying to appear modest as Sakura spoke of her 'incredible' sense of smell. "Yes, let's go on the ferris wheel now!" Gaoki said in response to Tomako's suggestion. Gaoki grabbed Sakura's hand, and Sakura quickly took Tomako's and soon they were being dragged into line.
The thought of getting to know each other better was making Gaoki's mind race. All Sakura had thought on was that she was a friend from out of town. They couldn't exactly discuss their cover story now, and if Tomako wasn't suspecting something off by now, it would only get worse when she couldn't even tell her about herself.

Glenn's human eyes watched the humans thoughtfully, one eye was twitching slightly, though for the most part it's expression was that of long. For what though? To be a human slave? Impossible, in fact that was unheard of, being a human slave was lower than dirt. Glenn, knew that it was no way at all, lower than dirt, and wouldn't force itself to do such a thing, like doing a humans bidding. However, the more it thought about it, it supposed that getting close to a human maybe...could actually be sufficient. Perhaps not a human slave, but a human "friend". Of course, friendship didn't mean a thing to Gazimon, for most of its life it spent its time watching others create bonds. Nothing of importance. Much to Glenn's surprise, as it tried to convince itself that it did not seed such a thing as a bond, the aching feeling began to go away, though even so it still dwindled behind, and hurt quite a bit. Odd.
Glenn had been in such a deep thought about this constant feeling that it...he...or maybe she had almost not heard the reply from its companion. It had no intention of ignoring the Saberdramon that was with it, after all, she was just as well...royal as he/she or the next follower of the Harvesters. Of course, that wasn't entirely true either, for they were a special kind of Shepard, hatched into this world. With, the gift, of knowledge and skill, that no ordinary Digimon could ever possess. Though currently, this was not what Gazimon was going to keep thinking about. The response of Saber as she was called, made the Gazimon's human lips stretch across its face, as though what Saber said was a joke, and not a horrible deed they were about to commit. "How cruel-cruel." he or perhaps she replied, it's expression admonishing, as though it, itself, had not suggested to follow the girls on in the first place.
Yes, oh yes please, this was exactly what the Gazimon was hoping for. Traps, were so ironic, so amusing that it gave a chill down Glenn's spine. The disguised Glenn glanced from the humans, and then to Saber, and then suddenly, the human girls were on the move. The Gazimon licked his lips, as though about to pounce on its pray, and gestured for the other Herder to follow hopefully. It was the humans...but also their human slaves that brought the Glenns attention. "Human Slaves...Human Digimon, I mean. No doubt they won't be too hard to dispose of- ispose of." it's voice was quiet, as though it didn't want humans to hear the oddity of having two voices. It glanced to Saber, and started to close into the line, directly behind the girls. Dangerously close, but for who, was the question. Glenn had no fear of being noticed by them, it wasn't like the humans could tell a human from a Digimon in disguise. Whatever happened, the line seemed to be moving decently quickly, this was good. Glenn was already starting to become impatient. If this was the digital world, it would force its way to the front of the line, causing everyone else to wait. However, he or perhaps she had to follow the human girls, thus, they would have to wait.

Keeping her intense orange gaze locked upon the trio up ahead as she awaited the next move, be it from them or Glenn, Saber continued to study them, seeking anything that might give she and Glenn some sort of leverage upon their confrontation. Perhaps...they could be used against each other? But no...it seemed they really hadn’t known one another longer than a few minutes. From what was able to be heard over the din of noise surrounding them, the girl’s current conversation was utterly dull...hardly a conversation at all in her opinion, as it consisted mostly of suggestions and thus was useless to her for the time being, but only proved the point they didn’t seem well acquainted. The girls still hadn’t moved either, and her previous expression of intensity dimmed to one of slight boredom; she wasn’t one that liked waiting despite the fact that it was necessary. Despite the fact it couldn’t have been more than a minute either, she would have liked to accost them straight off. However, she also knew it would pay off, perhaps, later on and attract less attention while in the Ferris wheel, as Glenn had suggested. It was only then that she realized that one of the girls, the redhead, was looking at them, and immediately she attempted to discreetly shift her gaze over to Glenn, hoping they hadn’t aroused any suspicion. Fortunately too it was around this moment that Glenn had decided to speak, thus giving her something else to focus on for the time being.
“You know me. Perhaps you shouldn’t be with such a bad influence” she responded, her expression in turn baring a somewhat pointy grin. She knew by now that Glenn was in no way going to back out and leave, no matter what they said, so there was no reason at all to be bothered by their hypocrisy. It was only with the Herders that she would speak in this manner anyway, mainly because she really did consider them her allies as well as companions even if the others did not think this way. Thus she implicitly trusted them, hence her trust that Glenn here wouldn’t up and leave, plus the fact it had been Glenn who had originally wished to peruse the girl in the first place. It also meant that she was perhaps more casual in her interactions with the Herders then would be expected. True she wasn’t about to go fooling around, but she couldn’t help but playfully adding, as their prey finally began moving and they in turn discreetly followed, “Don’t pretend you don’t like a bit of fun yourself.”
The pair of them moved casually in pursuit once more, the destination this time being obvious, though the closer they got, the less of a chance they would remain unnoticed. The redhead had already seen them she was sure, and Saber wondered if the other digimon in disguise would sense them for what they really were. If she did, and the girls were alerted to this before they could all get aboard the wheel, it could be problematic. No doubt the other digimon would prove to be their most annoying obstacle here in their goal of acquiring the girl. However, she did agree with Glenn’s next words, and nodded in agreement just as they pulled up behind the pair, probably leaving a few unhappy people behind them, whom they had managed to slip in front of just before the queue to the line had begun in order to achieve the placement they required. She selected her choice of wording carefully since they were now in such close proximity to their target, and appraised the disguised digimon from behind for a fraction of a moment, then once more returned attention to Glenn.
“Well we are together this time, so really it should be easy as anything.” Her voice was equally soft, though there was a note of eagerness hidden within, which she hoped would not be taken as overconfidence. It was always a sure-fire way to fail right from the start to believe nothing could ever harm you, though given their position and the fact they hopefully had the element of surprise on their side, it was sometimes hard not to think this. Wrinkling her little nose in distaste at the line of people still before them, Saber forced herself to remain patiently still. Like Glenn she disliked this waiting, though it wasn’t the line that was bothersome to her. It was this moment when everything was so within grasp but couldn’t yet be touched. So close all of them were, she could have just reached out and seized any of them right here and now, but she had to just stand there as act as everyone else here was; like a human awaiting a pleasant ride on the Ferris wheel. (AN; Sorry if I am missing any W's...that key hates me lately and sometimes I miss it on editing..Also sorry for taking so long))

How peculiar. The fact Gaoki could smell Budmon was intriguing to Tomoko and the plant digimon herself. Maybe she isn't human? Nonsense. Then again, even I can't smell that well. If anything she could be ... oh, I don't know. The redhead was puzzled. She was so wrapped up about it she didn't hear what Sakura said about the 'part-dog' lie. It would have been a vital clue, the girl might figure it out sooner or later. "Yes, let's go on the ferris wheel now!"
She felt her hand being grabbed and she uttered a small 'eep'. Her bag swung a little when she was being dragged, Budmon braced herself only to be pushed by a book and a large pencil bag. Huuu, I I'm going to have to ask Tom to be more conscious about me next time. This is ridiculous! Budmon's leaf-like tail was bent and her thorns throbbed a little. She was not in the best of moods now because of how jumpy her human companion.
Tomoko waited in line with the other two girls. She kept quiet for a moment. "So ... um..." Her voice wavered. A lump was forming in her throat. Tomoko didn't know why, she still felt a little sad because of her friend. Oh, come one! You have nice people to hang with now. No need to get emotional! She urged herself to hold back tears and managed to do so. What was I going to ask again? ... darn it! Tomoko kept to herself once more, she was looking through her thought and trying to remember her question.
Meanwhile a stranger was walking by. He tripped on his own feet and bumped against Tomoko's bag. This made her squeak and flail to get away from him. Before anyone could say anything a voice blurted out, "WATCH IT!" It was Budmon. She didn't realize what she had done before it was too late.
The man looked at the red haired girl in puzzlement then walked away like nothing had happened. Really? Tomoko slapped her face slowly, her hand ran down her face slowly. Then looked at both Gaoki and Sakura then sighed. "Yeah ... I can be loud when I have to." She didn't know what else to say.

Sakura bounced on her heels as they stood in line. Her gaze shifted to Tomoko as she began to speak, though she seemed to hesitate. Her moods are swinging faster than a kid on a swing set. Sakura thought. Whatever Tomoko wanted to say had apparently escaped her, as she grew quiet again. She was about to speak up when suddenly a man came stumbling past, knocking into Tomoko's bag, to which it responded with a loud and angry shout.
Sakura blinked. Tomoko tried to explain it away, but Sakura was certain it wasn't her speaking. She definitely didn't see her lips move, and unless she was some sort of ventriloquist. Even then though, that was a loud shout. Besides, was there a point to making it look like she hadn't shouted that, only to admit to it seconds later? "Heh, same here." She said uneasily to Tomoko.
Sakura then looked to Gaoki. She had obviously sensed something in Tomoko's bag earlier, and now her bag seemed to speak. She leaned over to her partner, and whispered into her ear. "Do you know what's in her bag? Think it's a digimon?" She inquired. There was no issue with it of course, but she wanted to be dead certain here before she revealed anything to her new friend here. As likely as it seemed at this point, she wanted to be certain before assuming she was a digidestined.
Gaoki had jumped back as the guy had pushed into Tomoko. She was suspicious of Tomoko at first, but now she she heard the bag shout, she was dead certain the girl was concealing a digimon, though it was obviously a small one to fit in her bag. "I'm positive." Gaoki muttered back. "Check your digivice. It should track her signal if she has a digivice of her own."
Sakura might have slapped herself. Of course, her digivice. She had been able to use hers to keep track of Ryusuke well enough. It certainly wouldn't be any doubt at all if her digivice could point her out. She pulled out her digivice, the thing would probably just look like some sort of handheld game or something to anyone who didn't know what it was. With a few button presses, sure enough, two red dots appeared in the middle of the screen, right next to each other. "It's cool. We know." She said discreetly, putting her digivice back in her pocket.
The line shortened as passengers were boarded onto each car. As two people suddenly rushed into line, Gaoki glanced back at them. If it weren't unlikely enough that the new friend they had made turned out to be a digidestined, the scents coming off these two definitely weren't human. More digidestined perhaps? This wheel must have been a magnet for them or something. She turned away, but she kept her ears perked to catch what ever they said.
They soon reached the front of the line, and the attendant directed the trio as well as the two behind them towards the next empty car. As Gaoki got on behind Sakura and Tomoko though she paused, turning to the attendant and blocking the way from the other two. "Hey Sir, could me and my friends have this car to ourselves? Please?" Gaoki inquired, smiling cutely.
"No." The attendant's response was immediate and firm, and it seemed Gaoki's cute puppy-eyed look didn't work so well as a human. "Everyone wants a ride on here, so sit down and let these ladies on."
Gaoki's smile turned to a frown. She was hoping they could have the car to themselves so the three of them could chat more openly. She sat down, and watched the other two board, but to her surprise, it appeared they were alone. Digimon aren't supposed to be in the human world alone... Gaoki thought. Did their partners just let them romp around wherever?
Sakura blinked when Gaoki questioned the attendant, but was hopeful for a positive response. "Too bad." Sakura scratched her head. It certainly would have been nicer to be able to chat in private, but it seemed they wouldn't have a good chance to talk about their partners while on this ride. They would have to meet later on if things went well. "Hi there." She greeted the two passengers they were sharing the car with.
Now that she looked at them they did look a bit... odd. A taller lanky woman with dull hair and shades... at night, and another person, who Sakura could only guess to be female as well, with purple hair and eyes. She shook off the strange feeling though, and turned to Tomoko. "So Tomoko, what kind of stuff are you interested in. I'm in the junior soccer team as well as the cross country club at school." She said. Thinking about it, Tomoko probably went to Odaiba High as well. She might have even saw her a few times and didn't realize it, though she definitely didn't recognize her from any of her classes.
