Rain rain go away, Come again another day, All the world is waiting for the sun. It was raining buckets of water that evening, it looked like it was bound to flood the streets. For some reason, though, the streets remained wet, but not flooded. Everyone was soaked, even people under umbrellas looked relatively wet, flat hair, darkened clothing, and that charming miserable look that was the perfect touch. Like a cherry on top of a cake. It didn't help that the dark clouds looked so endless it might rain for days and days, who could help but to feel like there was no good left in the world after thing kind of depressing evening. Earlier that day, the sun was shining, and the world seemed to go it's natural course of normalcy. Cries of people could be heard from a distance, cries of distress. Probably because their new I-phones were getting soaked to the circuits. At least that was how Viximon observed this all. His partner, he doubted even noticed that it was raining, or that he was probably inhaling more water than air. It was one of Viximon's biggest pet-peeves about the silly young man. Hana just didn't seem to pay attention to anything, and it always made him want to bite the human, and tell him to pay attention for once in his life. He didn't though, he just stayed quiet, letting the rain pour through the jacket he was hiding in. The plan was, while they were walking,...before it rained, Hana would just hide Viximon in his jacket, that way no one would notice him, and the rain wouldn't get him wet. This plan was failing miserably. Viximon, was not pleased by these results at all. He was sandwiched in between Hana's chest, a thin layer of jacket materiel, and Hana's arms, folding across him, as though trying to make it look less suspicious of a giant blob being in his chest. Which was just stupid, because he probably looked just as suspicious as he would with out his arms folding over. In turn, Viximon felt like a giant unwanted tumour and wasn't very pleased by this fact. On top of it all, he was soaking wet, and he could smell wet human all over him. Hanako blinked his brown eyes over and over again in the pouring rain, the ice cold wind scent chills down his spine. He was trembling, eyes wide, but trying to blink away the bullet-like rain, and teeth chattering furiously. He looked around to a few people he was walking by, he didn't really notice what they looked like, or what genders, how tall they were, hair colour or anything. Mostly, Hana just noticed that they were also wet like him. In his minds eye, he imagined a giant tidal waves sweeping over all of Japan. Then strangely, something about him turning into a dolphin and saving Viximons life. He kept making trembling steps forward on the side walk, trying to find his way to the subway so that he and Viximon could go home. The brown haired boy looked around, and his miserable cold expression grew even more distressed, he had no idea where he was. Hanako clung tighter to his chest with folded arms, forgetting that his Partner was separating his arms and chest from clinging to each other. Brr. He wished he was a dolphin, no, a penguin! Penguins were cute, and they were black and white. He liked them because they were birds and couldn't fly all at the same time. They could stay worm, he wondered why that was, it wasn't like they were very fluffy, fat or furry. They could even slide on ice, and go really fast. We're going to interrupt Hana's thoughts to go back to Viximon,. Why? Because Hana keeps thinking about those penguins for a while, and it kinda gets repetitive. Viximon shifted, crinkling his nose, wet human was not a very nice smell. Even if it was Hana, and Viximon respected the boy, he still did smell pretty bad when it rained. He felt Hana squish his arms closer, making him gasp quietly. Did Hana forget he was caring him again? He sighed, that was probably likely. Then, something got the small Digimons attention, beyond the smell of Hana-kun, beyond the smell of rain and misery, he could smell cooking food. Perhaps that meant shelter. It would only make sense. Viximon waited until the scent grew stronger, then he smiled a little, and nipped Hana's body with his small mouth, trying to get his attention. He also really liked Seals they were pretty cute in a so ugly they were cute way. He smiled, imagining himself hugging one of their squishy bodies. He would have continued on, had he not felt a sharp pain, suddenly snapping from his thoughts with a lethargic, cold gasp. Hana looked around in distress. Why would Vixmon bite him at a time like this? There may not be a lot of people on the streets any more, but there were still some left. A-and Vixmon was his friend! He looked down, clearly emotionally distressed by the fact that his friend had just bitten him. This distress didn't last long, when the brown haired boy's eyes spotted a food court. He smiled a little, as a revelation had hit his soft head. Hanako turned in the rain, and moved towards the food court, feeling his hungry tummy, just below Viximon. "Hungry,"he muttered to himself, and walked over to the area where the food was. His body was still trembling in the rain, and his eyes blinked away more rain, he looked around the area of food. Now, where to eat...and did Viximon remember to tell him to remember to bring money? Is it you I want, Or just the notion of A heart to wrap around so I can find my way around

"Viximon, where would you like to go for lunch?" Hayagawa asked the round yellow fox digimon that was sitting in the passenger seat of the small car. She was staring out the window at the rain pelting down on the pair.
"It doesn't matter, it's not like I can go in with you." She glanced at Hayagawa, and then back out the window. So many people covered the streets, even though it was pouring rain. Viximon was enjoying the chaos that ensued as people rushed to shelter from the rain. Hayagawa looked at the digimon from the corner of his eye.
"I got something at the store for that very reason. Carrying you in my jacket is extremely uncomfortable, and I can't just keep leaving you in the car. So, I bought a tote bag. I made sure to get one that didn't make me look like a complete idiot carrying it around." Viximon turned from her gazing to look at Hayagawa-kun. She didn't have to stay in the car anymore? She actually enjoyed the time alone, and it's not like he couldn't order to go. She turned back to her human-watching.
"Fine, very well then. Can't we go to a better restaurant then the food court though? There food is so greasy it makes my fur look bad." Viximon went to turn back to Hayagawa when a figure outside caught her eye. It was a boy who was younger than Hayagawa, and had a mysterious bulge in his jacket. It was just his jacket too, so he wasn't fat. "Boy, that child over there with the bulging jacket. He's going into the Food Court. I'm starting to wonder why it was bulging like that. Follow him."
Viximon? Interested in someone? That was new. Something must be interesting about this person then. Hayagawa followed the boy until he headed into the Food Court, then parked nearby. Fishing the bag from the back seats, Viximon jumped in and he covered her with a thin blanket. "Hayagawa, I smell another Viximon. It's faint because of the rain, but it's definitely there. I think that child has a Viximon like myself."
Well that was unexpected. Grabbing his keys and wallet from the car, Hayagawa headed into the Food Court. "Are you sure about this, Viximon?" He looked down at her and she stared up at him with a "You doubt me?" look. "Alright, alright. Do you still smell that Viximon?" The fox digimon sniffed the air again, glancing around at what she could see.
"Faintly, but it shouldn't be too hard to spot a teen with a bulge in his jacket, almost as though he's fat." She was right. Within a few minutes of searching, the duo had found him. Hayagawa walked up to him calmly, calling out only when he was close enough and he knew the teen would hear him.
"Hey!"

While rummaging into his soaking wet pockets, Hanako started to imagine what would happen if he had some money at all. He smiled a little, the same lazy smile he always had, as though he were listening to a bed time story. It went a little something like this: Hanako reached into his pocket, smiling. He found some money! That meant that he remembered to listen to both his parents and Viximon that day. He was feeling very proud of himself for not spacing out. It really wasn't a problem, after all, it wasn't like anyone was bothered by him doing this. He touched the money and pulled it out of his pocket. For some reason it was dry, he didn't understand it, so Hana looked closer at the money. In an instant, the money caught on fire! Hana gasped, and dropped the money to the wet ground, clutching his burnt hand. In yet another instant, before he could even register what was going on, the fire exploded into a fiery bird. What were they called again? Phoenix! That was the name he was looking for. It flew around in circles a few times, and the rain cleared up, bringing day and miracles all through Odaiba. That was where he lived, as far as he could remember. Then, it hovered down in front of Hana, he gasped, heart beating wildly with excitement, as it's blue eyes stared into his brown ones. " I have come here to grant you thee wishes." It spoke, in perfect Japanese, no less! Hana almost opened his mouth to say something to the phoenix, when he felt an aching in his stomach area. He gasped, brown eyes darting to his belly, blood was spewing from his belly. Who had shot him? Why hadn't he even noticed that someone in the Food Court, was carrying a gun? Were guns not illegal here anyway? Several confused questions filled his head, and Hanako turned to look at a shadowy figure, laughing. A clap of upcoming thunder, made Hanako gasp sleepily, coming out of his imagination for the time being. So, all of that was in his head? He didn't doubt it, but he paused, why was his stomach still hurting then? The brown haired by looked down to his wet body...not bloody holes... BRRGLRGLRAAAW!Oh. How silly of him, his stomach was growling. Hanako smiled a little sheepishly to himself, and stated out loud again "Hungry!" this time it was a relieved laughter tone, than before. He reached into his pockets again, shivering violently. Oh yeah, it was cold. The boy chattered his teeth again, as more buckets of rain coated his small body. Viximon closed his blue eyes, he was soaking wet, and so was Hanako. The fox-like Digimon hoped that his Partner wouldn't catch a cold. Hanako could be so foolish, and never thought things through. He was a good boy, and a wonderful student. Renamon was actually quite surprised how much Hana had learned since they first met each other. That wasn't the point though, why on earth was Hana repeating Hungry over and over? Was Hanako having trouble registering his human body? Well, later on, Vixmon would have to teach Hana all about feeling hungry, the digestive system, and what was proper to eat to keep healthy and active. "Hey!"Hmm? Viximon suddenly noted that someone was calling, he wasn't sure, he couldn't see much, but it sounded directed to them. Perhaps a potential student for him to teach along side Hana. It sounded adult though, and male. A police officer? Oh dear. What had Hana not notice he had done THIS time? Hanako pulled out a wallet from his back pocket, smiling, there it was, money! He wondered if the money had stayed safe and dry in there. He had been out in the rain for a while now. Not to mention they were lost, so if the people didn't take the money, or if they turned into evil monsters and bit off his hand. They were in big trouble. The brown haired teenager was about to slip into spaced out mode, when his ears caught a voice, and scent it to his brain just in time. A police officer, maybe? What had he done on accident this time? "Hey!" was the word, something that was sort of a greeting, but this time it sounded more like someone was trying to get his attention. Hanako knew that tone of voice well. Hanako turned his head, and looked around, brown eyes squinting through the rain. No one was really here in the food court besides him, a few workers annnd. There. He observed an older man, around his 20's. Remembering Viximon in his jacket, Hanako turned red, feeling he looked rather suspicious. No wonder someone might try to confront him...right? "Ah,..." he paused, making sure this blond man was talking to him "Me?". His brown eyes looked the man up and down again, suddenly feeling intimidated, what was in the back? A gun? A skull? A Baby Dragon egg? Maybe this man wanted Hanako to share his money, so they could both eat. " I think I have enough money, let me check," Hana smiled, speaking as though the man might know what he was talking about . He pointed at his wallet, feeling still, very sheepish about the bulge in his belly. Suddenly Viximon piped up from his jacket " I don't suggest you talk to str-..." He paused, sniffing the air. He could smell another Viximon through the stench of rain, and it wasn't his own scent "...angers...?"

Hayagawa stopped in front of the boy, looking him up and down. Viximon had been right, the boy had an obvious lump inside his jacket. The boy offered to share his money with him, thinking he didn't have money for his own food. Before he could respond, a voice was heard, obviously muffled, through his jacket.
Viximon stuck her head out of the bag hanging on Hayagawa's shoulder. The rain didn't bother her in the slightest. "Why are you hiding in that boy's jacket, digimon? Have you no pride in yourself or were you captured by that horrendous looking male?"
Hayagawa was the least bit phased by Viximon's statement, however the rain was starting to soak in through the jacket he had put on before he had left. He turned to address the boy in front of him, leaving Viximon to her conversation with the other digimon. "No, that's quite alright. I have money for myself thank you. Maybe we should let the digimon stay out here for a bit so they can go have their conversation in peace. I'm starting to get a bit chilled in this rain and you look completely soaked." Hayagawa smiled.
Viximon jumped from the bag and trotted quickly over to a set of rocks next to the door of the food court. She looked expectantly towards the pair, specifically to the lump in the younger male's jacket. "Well? Let your master or whatever that boy is go eat. You're going to attract a hell of a lot more attention in there anyways. Like some human won't notice a huge lump in his jacket. Anyways, my human will make sure food is brought back for us if you're worried about being fed."

Hanako looked down at the lump in his darkly colored jacket, considering what his partner had said to him, even though Viximon did still seem pretty unsure about what he was saying. Why though, usually when Viximon didn't want him to talk to others, he would say it in a very stern manner. Well, maybe Viximon just wanted to change his tone of voice, put a little, uh...spice to his usual routine. Of course, the brown haired teenager actually liked the old routine, and the old way he would warn him, this new way Viximon was using seemed a little more confusing. He didn't like to be confused, it was all very...dizzying, and Hanako already found he felt like that enough. He looked back to his wet wallet, he certainly had money in it, but for some reason , he felt like he was forgetting something. Maybe he had forgotten to hug his mother before he went out earlier that day. Sure, hugging your mother wasn't something you usually did when you're age 17, but it made him feel more secure. Hanako loved his mother very dearly, and honestly couldn't care less if people accused him of being a momma's boy. Even if they did, Hanako probably wouldn't have ever noticed. No, he could distinctly remember hugging her, he didn't own a cellphone. His whistle? Hurriedly, he reached for his neck, and relaxed, when his fists clutched around the small whistle. It was still there, so he couldn't be missing anything else. He looked to the man who was now standing in front of him, obviously he wanted Hanako to share his money. This was no big deal. Or at least, that was his interpretation of this whole situation. The soaked brown haired boy was about to say something, when a female voice spoke: "Why are you hiding in that boy's jacket, digimon? Have you no pride in yourself or were you captured by that horrendous looking male?"He jumped, looking around for a moment, obviously hearing a female voice, but finding no one that could possibly own it. At first he thought it was just a voice in his head, or that someone was talking to someone else, until finally he registered exactly what the voice had said. She was addressing a Digimon...in a jacket.... He looked back to the man, and it all suddenly came to him at once. This man had a female soul haunting him! No, he shook his head, this man, was also a Digidestined. The male Viximon, meanwhile, stiffened hearing a voice address him . Not by his name, but she called him a Digimon. He oaused, considering answering her question, feeling the fur on his body burn a little though. His human Partner was not in the least bit horrendous looking. In fact, Hanako was probably the best looking human he had seen in this world, the rest of these humans all looked the same to him. Was this going to be very pleasant if he showed himself, perhaps it would be better to remain hidden and silent until he felt the need to speak. Though, if that was the Viximon he smelled, he felt his own curiosity getting the better of him. In this place called Japan, people seem to have other Digimon by the truck loads. Not literally of course, the idea almost made him laugh out loud, as though he were actually funny to begin with. He was an oblivious Digimon and usually thought he was funny even when he really isn't at all. Hanako blinked at the blond man, unsure of what to say, more or less in a state of shock. He had a Viximon, just like Hanako did. "Oh," he was still a little uncertain if she was addressing them though, after all, she had noted a "horrendous male," Hanako hadn't seem any one like that yet. The man standing in front of Hanako , did not seem the least bit surprised that his Digimon had spoken like that, nor did he seem surprised that Hanako too had a Digimon. "No, that's quite alright. I have money for myself thank you. Maybe we should let the digimon stay out here for a bit so they can go have their conversation in peace. I'm starting to get a bit chilled in this rain and you look completely soaked." Just then Hanako remembered his money in hand, and he nodded, a big sheepish smile on his young face " Oh, okay..." he still found himself standing in the rain, heart racing with the shock of it all, and yet...he was glad he could share his own Digimon with another person. Though he had to admit, secretly he was the tiniest bit disappointed that the man didn't have a dragon egg in the bag. His brown eyes watched the yellow female jump out of the safety of the bag, hardly believing his own eyes, even though he shouldn't be as surprised as he was. He smiled happily at the female Viximon, feeling the body in his own jacket. She said something that Hanako missed, probably because he was too wrapped up in the fact that they were both Digidestined, it made his sheepish smile grow even bigger, despite himself. "Oh yes," he nodded, looking from the yellow female Viximon to the stranger man " Let's eat...My name is Hanaaaaa-!" the teenager was stopped by a strange wiggling mostion in his clothing as his Viximon was climbing upwards to the head hole in his jacket. The Viximon's tiny tiny paws tickled him so much, he had to keep from bursting out in laughter. The Digimon pushed out from the top hole, where Hanako's head was, wiggling, as though trying to get free. He obviously found that there was no room for both Hanako's head, and him, and it was a terrible exit for him. However, Viximon managed to land firmly on the went ground, standing proudly as though he had performed a great trick (though he was inwardly apologetic to poor Hanako, who had to endure through that little stunt.) "Tada," he smiled slightly, blue eyes giving his friend another apologetic look. "I'm sorry about that, didn't mean to keep a lady waiting," he purred, clearly enjoying the attention he hoped he was getting now. Despite the fact that it was raining, he suddenly found himself in a much better mood. " Oh, Hanako did you know, Rain is liquid precipitation, as opposed to non-liquid kinds of precipitation such as snow, hail and sleet, and well, anything else the human world has. And that, Rain requires the presence of a thick layer of the atmosphere to have temperatures above the melting point of water near and above the Earth's surface?" He smiled, obviously feeling in a rather chatty mood. Usually he wasn't too interested in talking to others, but for some reason, this female was clearly amusing to him. "No go, be free, eat drink, and be merry, yes?" he certainly did want to talk to this Viximon, and find out just was kind of person her Partner was He was a little wary and uncertain about this stranger, so getting information out of her would do him some good. Hanako nodded, clearly not understanding what Vixiamon had just said, but he smiled, it was something about Rain, and whatever it did. He knew that his Digimon had a strange liking to teach people strange things, so he always pretended to understand. He looked to the strange man and smiled again, still feeling ever so sheepish "My name is Kirin Hanako, but if it's alright with you, I prefer to be called Hana," he started to walk towards the building, glancing ever so warily at the female Viximon, and shivering from the rain, then smiled a little, unsure of what to say " You're very cute, I've never seen a female Viximon before"he tried to compliment her in some way, feeling like it was a good idea to do that to those he just met. Meanwhile Hanako's Viximon was staring up at the blond man, uncertain and skeptical of him, with very challenging blue eyes. As though he were daring the man to harm Hanako in some way. "Hungry," Hanako nodded, and opened the door, he had many questions he wanted to ask this man. Hayagawa watched the boy curiously, Viximon raising an eyebrow. This young man was quite strange, and she couldn't figure out why another of her kind would choose such a human to spend his time with. She huffed and sat on the wet ground, waiting for the other Viximon to make up his mind on whether he was going to join her or not. She noted the boy was quite quiet, and didn't talk particularly much. That was fine with her. Humans were curious to look at and make fun of, but once they started talking...
"Let's eat...My name is Hanaaaaa-!"
It was Hayagawa's turn to raise an eyebrow, and Viximon was almost startled at the sudden noise that came from the male's mouth. She frowned as the lump started to scramble out of the young male's shirt through the head hole. Viximon stepped back a bit and watched, sorta amused at the scene in front of her.
"Oh.. um.." Hayagawa stepped forward to help the young man and his digimon but the Viximon had popped out before he could reach them. He stared down at the yellow fox digimon that looked almost exactly like his own. His own was however a bit smaller and slimmer.
"Tada,"
What was this digimon so proud of? Viximon snorted at the other Viximon's crude entrance. Then he started spewing nonsense about the weather on Earth. She knew about rain and snow and other forms of Earth precipitation. He then dismissed the two humans to go off and get their food. Finally.
"Indeed. Be off you two. Boy, do not forget my food."
Hayagawa rolled his eyes and nodded. "Of course, Viximon. He looked at the boy who had introduced himself as Hana, now introduced himself as Hanako, but preferred Hana. He nodded politely. "It's a pleasure to meet you Hana, I'm Hayagawa Kiyoshi. I don't mind what you call me." He smiled.
Viximon watched them, and narrowed her eyes at the younger boy's compliment. "Cute. Yes, I know I'm cute. Thank you for reminding me of something I've known for quite a while. And well, digimon aren't all that plentiful on Earth, so I'm not all surprised you haven't." She turned and walked away from the human, glancing at the other Viximon as she passed him to go sit under a nearby bush.
Hayagawa smiled apologetically. "She's always like that, pay no mind to her attitude. Come along then, I'll buy your lunch for you. Whatever you'd like." He felt bad for the soaked boy, and wondered if there was anywhere nearby that sold shirts or jackets or something.
Viximon watched her human leave before turning to the other Viximon. "Well then. Care to explain how you ended up with a human such as that one? He's quite absent from his conscious mind."

Hanako smiled happily at the female Viximon. She certainly was cute, he kind of wanted to hold him in her arms and squish her, but he doubted that this fox Digimon would like that, after all, his own Viximon didn't even like it. Then he looked over to the adult man and smiled softly, nodding his greeting, and considering how the name sounded on him. It certainly was a good name "Hayagawa?" the teenager repeated, as though the name didn't make any sense to him until his brain would register it. "Oh," he smiled again, forcing himself from laughing at his own silliness "Nice name!" then his attention came back to the little female Viximon as she began to speak so...amusingly. She reminded him of a friend of his who had a some what similar attitude that always made Hanako want giggle to no ends. Of course they were different, especially because Viximon was yellow...and his friend was very pink. "Oh I'm-..." he paused and looked at Hayagawa-san for several moments. What did he say? Oh dear, had the soaking wet Hanako forgotten to listen to what people around him were saying? He looked around in the rain, and then looked back at the man, smiling still as if he had actually listened and understood what poor Hayagawa-san had said. Whatever the man said, he was fairly certain that it had to do something with food, after all, that was what they were about to do, right? He looked back to his own Viximon and smiled at the poor wet thing. He knew the Digimon didn't like Hanako going off with people with out him, but...he was with a pretty female, what could go wrong? "We'll be back." he tried to reassure his Viximon, and pushed into one of the restaurants, pleased to find it was very warm in there. He looked at all the other people inside, all probably delaying having to go outside in the rain again. Or maybe they were waiting for a magical train to take them away to a fairy mountain where they could sing and be merry for the rest of their lives. The boy turned his head to his new friend and smiled "If you don't mind me asking...How did you find her?" he assumed that they were partners and Hayagawa was a Digidestined. Meanwhile Viximon blinked his large blue eyes in the direction that the gentlemen had gone. Well, this was good, Hanako left. Normally of course to the Viximon this would have registered as VERY BAD! but...he wanted to spend some time with this female Digimon with out having to worry about the boy constantly. After all that Kiyoshi fellow seemed very trust worthy...so far. "Well then. Care to explain how you ended up with a human such as that one? He's quite absent from his conscious mind." The females voice snapped Viximon from his thoughts and he blinked thoughtfully for several moments. " You want to know about Hanako?" he asked with a slight wink, "Well... as much as he doesn't think so, he really needs me. He might walk right into a Kuwagamon with out thinking. You see, we're partners after all. Don't you have a similar relationship with Kiyoshi?"

Hayagawa watched the boy carefully, making sure Hana didn't get into trouble. Hanako seemed very spaced out most of the time.
"If you don't mind me asking...How did you find her?"
"Found her?" Hayagawa echoed, unsure what the boy meant. "I bought Viximon from a company. She was actually caught as a Youkomon, but when I brought her back here she de-digivolved back into a Viximon. I was also given this." The blonde man unclipped a walkie-talkie like device from his belt. The digivice was light purple and light blue. "Haven't figured out what it's for exactly. All I know is that it keeps Viximon from attacking me and is what helps her to switch forms." He shrugged and put the digivice back on the clip. "She was quite a fair bit of money, and the digivice was extra."
"So, I'm assuming that you didn't buy your digimon." Hayagawa stated, looking around the inside of the food court. His attention was now focused on getting something to eat. The blonde was suddenly aware of how hungry he was. Glancing around, he grinned and grabbed Hanako by the arm, bringing him towards a restraunt in the back of the food court. "Do you like ramen?"
"...Don't you have a similar relationship with Kiyoshi?"
Viximon twitched her tail in amusement. Care about the human that was holding her against her will? That was the most ridiculous question she had ever heard. She couldn't help but start laughing. "You're a funny digimon. Care about the boy? I would never! That idiotic human bought me, and is holding me against my will. The second that the digivice that is trapping me to him breaks, I'm leaving!" Viximon huffed angrily, having stood in the middle of her rant and started pacing. "Before I was captured and sold I was a beautiful Youkomon. Silky purple fur, beautiful orange flames tipped my tails and covered my paws." The female Viximon got caught up in reminiscencing about her champion form, rambling about it. She caught herself, however, and went back to ranting about Hayagawa.
"As I was saying, I was such a beautiful champion digimon before I was reduced to such a repulsive in-training form." Viximon was just about fuming at this point, irritated some digimon would think she would care about a lowly human.
"If I had my way, humans wouldn't exist anymore! Stupid, disgusting creatures!"

Hanako wasn't quite sure if he was asking the wrong kind of question, or maybe it was a touchy subject. Sure they were both Digidestined, but he wasn't never sure what was okay to ask people he just met. That's usually why he would have stayed quiet when he was younger, and just stayed in his own thoughts as other people talked to the new comer instead. This time though, he would be brave...this time...he would actually start to make a friend all by himself. "Found her?" the man asked, his confusion made Hanako feel suddenly very confused as well. What else could their be but to find a Digimon? Had he phrased it wrong? The teenaged boy thought back to his last words trying to see if maybe he accidentally said something that didn't make any sense. Then... he continued, saying something that to Hanako, made no sense at all! He was saying that he bought the Viximon, at some sort of store or company. "O-oh..." Hanako smiled, as though what the man was saying made perfect sense and he understood him. The fact that Hayagawa was speaking so casually made Hanako's brain register as buying Digimon a perfectly acceptable thing....so he just smiled and nodded. He touched his own Digivice for several moments. How...how did he even get a Digivice if the store gave it to him so easily. Hanako had found his Digivice by digging a hole for fun and he found the dirty little device buried...of course he didn't think it would have worked. Sure enough though, it worked. Which of course, because his Digivice worked, it brought him to the Digital world where he met...Renamon! "So, I'm assuming that you didn't buy your digimon."Hanako smiled and nodded " That's right." it was the only thing he really said on the subject because hims mind was busy trying to figure out how a person could just buy a Digimon. Did that mean that Hanako could buy a hundred new friends? Well no...he probably shouldn't ...after all. He doubted his Renamon would like ANY of this at all. It wasn't so bad...buying Digimon...right? Hayagawa-san said it so normally like it was nothing. It was all so confusing! He wished someone much more smarter could be with him to tell him what was right and what was wrong, he was never good at deciding. Perhaps someone like his cousin would know what to do. Hanako's arm was quickly pulled in a direction making him pay attention once more, and he smiled questioningly, wondering where Hayagawa-san was taking him. "Do you like ramen?" "YES!" Hanako exclaimed almost instantly, completely forgetting about his distress on the buying digimon subject. He loved Ramen! Ramen was so fantastic! "I do, I really do Hayagawa-san!" he smiled happily "Do you like Ramen?" he asked, but then continued, not waiting for an answer " Hayagawa-san... Are you.... Why would you buy a Digimon?" Oh dear. Was he asking something strange? This female Viximon certainly had a story to tell, making the yellow male Digimon strain his ears so he could hear every single thing she said. She was...bought...by a human?! Digimon could not be bought, this was quite ridiculous. His opinion of this Kiyoshi fellow instantly changed to one of high respect to extreme disgust. His blue eyes narrowed a little then suddenly it dawned on him. What would happen to Hanako?! What could this cruel man be doing to his poor human already...the human fooled Viximon...but not for long! "I see..." he muttered unhappily "So you're being held against your will. I was unaware Digimon could be sold." he frowned and started to pace in circles " Is this human known for doing terrible things? Or is he cruel in anyway?"

"YES!"
Hayagawa smiled and stopped once in front of the shop he was heading for. Looking at the shop, he pulled out his wallet and calculated in his head how much he probably would need for a couple of bowls for here, and a pair to go. He laughed quietly when Hana asked him if he liked ramen. "Of course. I love ramen." He pulled out what he needed and was about to walk up and order when Hana's next question made him stop.
"Hayagawa-san... Are you.... Why would you buy a Digimon?"
"Well..." A frown graced his face as he tried to justify what he had done in his head. He had asked himself the same question a few months ago as he walked into the market where they kept the digimon. Why was he going to buy a digimon? Once there, he soon found out they were more than just animals, they were sentient creatures. He had been naive and oblivious before then, but even now knowing what he did, why had he still bought a digimon?
A slight thought crossed his mind and he smiled softly, looking at Hanako. "I was lonely." Indeed he was. But ever since he had acquired Viximon he hadn't been lonely. Changing his expression quickly he gave a big smile to Hanako. "Now then, enough of this sad conversation. I'm going to buy you a large bowl of ramen to warm you up. He grinned and walked up to the restraunt.
"So you're being held against your will. I was unaware Digimon could be sold."
"There were quite a few digimon at the human market I was kept at." Viximon continued to pace, glancing at the other Viximon as she passed by him. She couldn't believe that this other digimon had become partners with a human! Humans were vile, disgusting, greedy creatures that thought that they owned everything! She finally sat back down under the bush, deciding she didn't like the rain soaking her fur. But her tail kept moving, wagging back and forth.
"Is this human known for doing terrible things? Or is he cruel in any way?"
Oh. Viximon blinked a few times and looked away, frowning at how she had been behaving. "Well, no. Not really... He takes good care of me actually. He feeds me quite well, and I've got a big plump pillow to sleep on. So I wouldn't really say he's cruel to me.. As for other humans, he works with what the humans call the police to help find and capture the humans that do bad things." Viximon sighed. She was wrong about the boy, but she was certain that other humans were like what she described.

Hanako's mind was half on the wonderful noodles he was about to be treated to, and half on the idea of buying Digimon. Part of him wanted to think about it like buying more and new friends, but the other part thought...it was a little like buying people. Digimon were far from animals despite their appearance, they could dance, and learn, and speak the same language their partners did. Well...the boy didn't really know what to think about it, after all, maybe it wasn't an evil company, maybe they just didn't know Digimon were more like people than pets. He stopped at the Noodle stand with the older man, glad to be away from the rain, and hopefully he would dry soon. He glanced around at the other strangers, hardly really regarding them as there, but merely staring in their general direction. Noodles sounded fantastic right now, that his tummy started to make yet another monster noise and ache. If Hanako was lucky, the noodles wouldn't turn into snakes and try to strangle him with their iron grasp of noodle-snake...ness. "I was lonely."Hanako blinked at Hayagawa, brown eyes blank for a moment, then they swelled with sympathy for the man. He was lonely and wanted some company? Perhaps a friend? He could understand, Hanako had been very friendless for a while, or had to move away from his friends in America. He could understand buying a Digimon for that reason. Loneliness was such a terrible feeling in the heart and in the gut, people should and could do anything to end the pain. "Oh," smiled Hanako closing his eyes a little I understand then...makes perfect sense."" What would Viximon think about this man? Hanako was such a bad judge of character, finding everyone's actions had to have some sort of good in them no matter what. Should he trust this Hayagawa man? Of course! Hanako shook his head from his depressed thoughts. Hayagawa was a good man, because well, he was buying him Ramen. Anyone who liked Ramen and bought some for poor soaking wet Hanakos, were clearly good people. "Now then, enough of this sad conversation. I'm going to buy you a large bowl of ramen to warm you up. "Oh! Thank you very much Hayagawa-san!" Hanako beamed at the man with a genuine smile, " I don't care what flavour." he nodded and continued to follow the blond man eagerly. This time when Hanako started up his conversation, he kept his voice much more happy and less concerned and confused. "It's amazing what people can make these days, Hayagawa-san," he chattered happily "I didn't even know people could make Digivices. I found mine in a hole..." the last words were still happy as though finding his in a dirty hole was just as glamorous as buying one at a store. "What do you like about Ramen?" the last question was pretty random, but Hanako didn't realize it. Viximon to say the least...was outraged and furious beyond all belief, but he tried to contain himself as best he could. Despite his obviously bristling yellow fur. He never had a bad opinion about humans, especially not Hanako, but this was just disgusting. "Well, no. Not really... He takes good care of me actually. He feeds me quite well, and I've got a big plump pillow to sleep on. So I wouldn't really say he's cruel to me.. As for other humans, he works with what the humans call the police to help find and capture the humans that do bad things."That sounded a little better. Viximon shrugged his tiny shoulders and looked up at the raining sky thoughtfully. This man wasn't entirely bad...but at the same time he was keeping this poor female hostage, and perhaps he was planning on using her for who knows what. "But if he helps capture bad humans...why doesn't he capture this company....I wonder?" he looked at the female Viximon a little keenly "Perhaps this human is more naive than my Hanako?" he asked her, in a very teasing manner, clearly amused by this thought. A man more naive than Hanako, that would be the day. Then the yellow fox digimon returned to being serious "Do you want to return to your old life?" Viximon asked her, blue eyes strained on her curiously. He wondered if somehow he could set her free.
