Well, Kazai was certainly breaking a number of rules, though it was 100% and completely necessary for her to do so. She was breaking and entering on school property on after school hours. It was almost 10PM. She wasn't even sure what would happen if she got caught. Detention? Suspension? Expulsion? It didn't matter. She had a goal.
Finding the portal to the Digital World wasn't easy at all. She couldn't figure out how to get there, and none of the computers she was using had been working for her. Why were they not working? She wasn't sure, but she could only come to reason that the computers in this lab were somehow different from the normal ones.
"I think it was this computer," Kazai concluded to her Digimon partner. It was the computer on the first desk and closest to the door, right in the center. She remembered this computer very specifically. It was the computer from which the two DemiMeramon, Kazai's DemiMeramon and Ryutaro's DemiMeramon had bioemerged from.
"Yeah, It was!" Petitmamon said as she jumped down from Kazai's arms and landed on the desk before the computer. She too examined the computer. Kazai then reached forward and pressed the power button on the monitor to turn the computer on. She also pulled out her digivice and set it on the desk.
"Figuring out how to get to the Digital World might not be easy, but I think that if there's a place where it can be done, it is here."

Haru was so bored. Bored enough to go to the school he had graduated from. Bored enough to take Wanyamon with him. He just wanted to find something interesting to do.
He wandered around the school for a few minutes, finding nothing to do he sighed. Wanyamon stirred restlessly in his backpack. He unzipped it and she popped her head out. "Can I come out now master?"
"Fine, but stay with me" he held her in his arms. He looked around for someplace to sit and found himself outside the door to the computer lab. The door had been left ajar. That's weird. No one should be here. He popped his head in, seeing a girl walking around with a─ wait was that a digimon?! He heard the girl say something about the digital world.
"What are you doing here?" he barged in, glaring at her, after hiding Wanyamon in the hallway.

"Eeek!"
Kazai nearly jumped out of her shoes upon hearing someone come up behind her. Petitmamon, however, knew the drill. She allowed her body to go limp and sat there like she was nothing more or less than a doll. Held her eyes wide open, and she would be able to leave them open for quite a while. She wasn't human, after all. Perhaps it was one of her abilities as a Digimon that allowed her to pose as an authentic doll. Or perhaps it was just something this particular Petitmamon had a talent for.
Kazai, however, had no reason to remain still. In fact, she was almost shaking. What was an adult man doing at the junior high school this late? He was not a janitor, and even if he were, the janitors had usually finished working by this late at night. Kazai frowned at him. She knew what had happened. There was only one reason that he would be in here with her right now.
"I don't know what your idea is, sir. Stalking girls who are smaller than you," Kazai exclaimed as she took the defensive. She'd then proceed to get into a fighting stance. She raise her left and right fists in preparation for combat, as if he was going after her, she was most definitely going to be defending herself.
"Don't touch me! I know 2 different forms of martial arts and I'm ready to use them both on you!" Kazai threatened him further. Petitmamon, however, remained back. She was not going to get involved in this unless it proved to be absolutely necessary in order to protect Kazai. She knew that Kazai was a capable young girl.

"I don't know what your idea is, sir. Stalking girls who are smaller than you,"
Haru laughed. He had been amused when the girl had jumped and her digimon had pretended to be a toy. The statement was absurd. He couldn't be that much older than her. He couldn't imagine ever exerting that much effort on any person.
"Don't touch me! I know 2 different forms of martial arts and I'm ready to use them both on you!"
He shook his head in amusement. "You and your digimon don't need to worry, I'm not going to do anything." He gave a low whistle. Wanyamon bounced into the room, meowing happily. "As you can plainly see I am no such person as you accuse me of being. I have a digimon too, I was just looking for something interesting to do, and looky-loo I came upon you and you digimon."
Wanyamon looked at the others with interest. She hopped a bit closer to them. "Who are they master? Are they our friends? Oh, I hope so! i barely ever see new digimon!" She purred excitedly, bouncing up and down with obvious excitement. She loved people. She wanted everyone to be her friend!

Kazai raised a perplexed eyebrow upon seeing his digimon enter into the room. Kazai never would have expected to see someone else with a Digimon like this. Before now, as far as her knowledge, she, her sister, and Ryutaro were the only people with Digimon. But now, this meant that there were even more people who had attachments to the mystical beings. But what kind of attachments did he have, and how much did he know about the digital world?
"That's a mighty-strong coincidence, sir," Kazai said to him. She still didn't trust him. Not in the slightest. She knew that he very well could have been tricking her. He still hadn't answered why he was at this school. There weren't many reasons for an adult man to be at a junior highschool. And the fact that he had a Digimon too just made things even more peculiar.
"So you just 'happened' to come here and bother us without knowing that I was a Digimon?" Petitmamon asked, now standing up finally. "Was your Digimon tracking us somehow?"

Dressed in the usual jeans, green t shirt, black sweatshirt and sneakers that she usually wore when not on school grounds during class hours, Briana pulled herself up and over the fence, crouching atop it for a moment before dropping down on the other side with a smooth, nearly silent landing. While she was terrified of being caught on the grounds after hours and even more terrified that someone might end up calling the police should they see a dark figure sneaking onto the school property, Briana didn't have many other clothes that she was willing to be caught dead wearing if she could avoid it, but thinking back on things it was more or less her fault that she was back at the school to begin with - if she hadn't left her bag in the classroom she'd never had come back in the first place. Taking note of the light coming from the room on the second floor, Briana stood out of her crouch and began sprinting across the small soccer field.
"Wait for me! I know I said this was a bad idea, but please don't leave me behind!" Motimon said, squeezing between the steel bars of the school gate to pop through to the other side, moving as fast as he could in a slight zig zag pattern across the open cement to catch up to Briana, who marginally slowed her pace down for him. While it'd happened only a year ago, the little pink ghost shaped digimon had appeared in her room back in the United States roughly three months before she'd been set to leave for Japan, and despite his relatively new presence in her life he'd quickly become more a sibling than a friend. He was the only one she'd met who was willing to put up with her constant questions and schenanigans, and being aware of that had only made them closer, especially after arriving in the island nation. Stopping when she reached the wall, Briana waited a moment for Motimon to catch up, the small creature slightly out of breath when he reached her.
"Honestly, if you're going to go in anyw-" Motimon began, only to have Briana scoop him up and place a hand over his mouth, meaningfully glancing up at the soft blue light coming out of the window on the floor above them. Motimon, following her signal, noticed the light himself and nodded, with Briana lowering him back to the ground a moment later. Moving along the wall, Briana and Motimon stopped at the corner of the wall before Briana glanced around it, relieved to see no one at or within the school's front entrance. Breaking from the wall, Briana ran to the door and made an attempt to pull it open, grinning as the attempt proved successful before slipping in, Motimon following her through just as the door closed.

"That's a mighty-strong coincidence, sir,"
"Why yes it is." Haru winked at her. "The names Haru, and I'm sure as hell no sir. And what, predpazlivi momiche, may I call you?" He accidentally slipped back into Bulgarian when speaking. He grinned. Oh well, at least it may confuse her and provide him some entertainment. He preferred to talk to people in German anyways. It was more natural to him than Japanese.
"So you just 'happened' to come here and bother us without knowing that I was a Digimon?"
"That's right. I didn't know until i looked through the door and say you running around on the computers." He chuckled. "I was hoping you might be entertaining. I get so bored these days." He shook his head. "I miss the days when I had school to skip."
"Was your Digimon tracking us somehow?"
"Haha. If only she was that useful. She can't do anything more advanced than talking, jumping, and getting in the way." He glanced at Wanyamon sitting in his arms. "You are a very useless digimon you know." He opened his arms and watched her fall. Being a cat she made a quick turn in the air and stuck the landing.
Wanyamon looked at her partner with a stupidly happy expression. "Master, are they our friends then? Are they? You told them you name so you mu─" She blinked and looked at her new friends. "Oh, I'm sorry! I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Wanyamon! Nice to meet you!" She purred excitedly, tail wagging back and forth. She watched the new people.

At this point, Kazai wasn't sure if she should introduce herself to them. She was still feeling very mistrustful. She didn't want to misplace her trust. That would only get her into very unnecessary trouble. She didn't want to do anything that could compromise Petitmamon's safety, and getting involved with a mysterious figure who seemed to know a lot about digimon would be irresponsible. He wasn't even a child. he was the oldest Digidestined she had met to date.
"I don't believe you," Kazai answered him. It was plain, short and simple. She didn't trust him and she didn't believe that he was as innocent as he claimed to be. What kind of innocent man roamed around a junior high school for no reason in the middle of the night, especially while there was a young girl roaming alone through the halls. He had surely seen her go in. She was sure of that.
"My first name is 'None'. My last name is 'Business,' and my middle name is 'ovyor'," Kazai crossed her arms. Petitmamon remained there on the desk, eying them suspiciously. She didn't trust them either. It wasn't likely that she would be trusting them anytime soon.
"Kazai-chan! Do I need to digivolve?!" Petitmamon asked the girl curiously. The young Digimon always seemed to be ready for a fight.
"Not yet."

It was almost too easy - from the moment Briana had entered the building she'd had yet to run into a single locked door and had quickly made her way down the main hallway, up a flight of stairs to the second floor, and down two more shorter halls before reaching the corridor that reached the classroom she'd been in at the end of the school day. It wasn't until she'd reached the stretch of hallway that she saw why, though - stopping at the corner where the hall ended, Motimon stopping right beside her leg, Briana looked around the corner further down the stretch of open hall to see a single open door, and to her dismay it was the room the light had she'd seen outside had come from. What made it even worse was the fact that there were obviously people in the room, and even worse than that was the fact that she could hear them, but not clearly enough to make out what they were saying.
Under normal circumstances that would've been fine for anyone else in Briana's position, but it took a conscious effort for her to focus back on the reason she had come to the school to begin with. She had no idea who they were, why they were there, what would happen if they caught her, or what would happen if the saw Motimon. It took a conscious reminder of those facts to keep herself from edging closer just to hear what was going on. Forcing her mind back on task, Briana located the classroom she'd gone to the school for, two doors down the hallway and across the hallfrom the open computer lab in her direction.
Glancing back and down to make sure Motimon was still with her, the digimon himself nervously glancing around, Briana took a deep breath and slowly began moving down the hallway as silently as possible, Motimon following her as she reached the doorway and opened it with a slight snick as the handle mechanism moved - enough for her to flinch in anticipation of being caught, but not loud enough to be realistically head from more than a handful of feet away. Turning around and backing into the classroom, Briana held the door open long enough for Motimon to shuffle inside before silently closing it, only to run into a problem that she had no anticipated - laziness on the part of the last person to be in the room.
As Briana moved away from the doorway she was suddenly blinded by the lights automatically coming on as a small motion sensor tucked up into the corner above the doorway sensed her presence, the teen freezing in place for a moment as her eyes struggled to compensate before the room was plunged into darkness again. Blinking away the motes of psuedo light that continued to swim around in her vision, Briana looked back to see Motimon standing directly under the light switch, now turned to the "off" position, looking at her with an "I told you so" expression. Glancing up at the door for a moment, Briana refused to relax again until a few seconds had passed and it became obvious from her point of view that no one knew she was there yet. Turning back to look the room over, the girl immediately located her desk.
"Bingo." Briana whispered, the word in English since she didn't have to translate what she was saying. Hanging right off of the side of her desk was her small school bag, exactly where she'd left it, homework and all - it'd been a pain coming to get the thing, but her grades were all that were keeping her in Japan, and while her test scores were very high she'd been slacking enough on her homework to put it into jeapordy. Quickly moving between the desks, Briana moved to hers and grabbed her bag before turning to head back to the door - only to trip over a chair in the darkness that she'd inadvertantly moved when going to her desk. While Briana was able to break her own fall relatively soundlessly with her hands and arms as Motimon panicked and moved to reach her, the chair was another matter - as it fell over, tangled with her legs, it managed to catch the desk next to it, both falling onto their sides with loud crashes.

"I don't believe you,""My first name is 'None'. My last name is 'Business,' and my middle name is 'ovyor',"
Haru was very amused. He never got this much amusement! He was starting to like this girl. He was sure she would be very entertaining to stick around with. He liked how adamant she was about not believing him. He was having way too much fun today.
"No cause for alarm" He chuckled again. "If I'm causing you that much trouble, I will happily leave. I'm sure I can find someone else to entertain me." He turned on his heal, ready to leave if this girl should tell him to. He hadn't come here looking for a fight. He would be happy to stay, but he was just as happy to leave.
Wanyamon in the meantime was quite upset at being ignored. Twice. She was ok with being ignored once, she was used to it from Haru. But twice. She couldn't stand it! Haru always paid attention to her the second time she tried to talk to him. Even if it was just out of annoyance. She glared at them. Glared. She actually glared at someone! She turned her back on them and bounced over to Haru, jumping into his arms.
Haru and Wanyamon both looked towards the door. What had that crash been? Haru started towards the door grinning. "Well Wanyamon, prilicha malko poveche zabavlenie idva nashiyat nachin! Neka otidem da proverim!" Wanyamon nodded eagerly. Maybe they would meet some people who were friendly! Haru put her in his backpack and walked to the door. Turning to flash a lopsided smile at the girl and her digimon, before hefting his backpack and walking out of the room to go investigate the noise they heard.

Petitmamon remained standing on the desk, carefully examining the other human and his partner carefully. Petitmamon was actually itching for a fight. She just wanted another chance to show off her skills and another chance to digivolve. Unfortunately, Kazai wasn't the same way. She didn't like fighting for no reason. She enjoyed having power, and she enjoyed demonstrating her power, just not in physical altercation or competition. She had lost that after many years of getting beat in sparring within martial arts class against Misaka. She couldn't enjoy fighting as much anymore.
In any case, Kazai was beginning to entertain the idea of him leaving. She knew she wasn't going to figure out how to get to the Digital World with him in here to distract her, and she didn't want to ask him anyway. Last thing she wanted to have was a creeper following her into the Digital World. She'd hold her breath for now.
Before she could get a chance to tell him that he should leave, however, her attention was deviated to a loud crashing noise which she had heard not so far away. She wasn't sure what it was, but she hoped that it wasn't security or anything like that. The last thing that she wasn't was to get suspended or expelled for breaking and entering school campus in the middle of the night without the supervision of a staff or faculty member.
"CRUD!" Without another word, Kazai ran. She grabbed Petitmamon by the hand and dragged the Digimon along with her. She dove under a desk in the back of the computer lab and hid. She was going to wait a bit.
"Darn. We forgot to turn off the light."

The moment she began to fall Briana knew she was probably going to be in trouble, and the crash that accompanied her sudden drop did not disappoint - it was loud, and the other occupied room was only a handful of doors down the hallway. Pushing herself up and off of the floor and extricating her legs from the knocked over chair, Briana quickly looked at the mess as Motimon reached her, arms rapidly waving at his sides in a mixture of panic and fluster, unsure of what he could do given his small stature. Figuring that there was no point in attempting to hide the mess given that she'd be caught in the act by the time half of it was cleaned up, the student instead scooped Motimon up off of the ground, unintentionally pinning his arms to his side as she began panicking herself, just barely remembering to grab the bag she'd come to get with her other free hand.
The door obviously wasn't an option given that the people in the other room were probably rushing out to check on the source of the commotion even as she sat there thinking, but there weren't many other options. If it had been an american classroom there would have always been the option of hiding in the classroom closet or timing her exit out of the room's second door, but she was pretty sure that it was only her school that had two doors per classroom, and she'd noticed an alarming lack of closets in all of the japanese classrooms since arriving in the country and attending its schools. It had driven her mad wondering where the janitors kept all of their stuff during her first couple of weeks, but this wasn't the time to think back on that. Hiding under the desks? No, they had no sides and she wasn't about to stoop that low.
Finally settling on an idea and fully aware of how crazy it probably was, Briana got up and dashed over to the classroom's windows and began prying one of them open, Motimon's struggling becoming considerably more animated as he realized what she was considering, but unable to voice out an opinion against it with her arm over his mouth. She wasn't moving nearly fast enough, though, after sitting on the floor for a number of seconds thinking about a solution rather than acting on it, and was completely oblivious to anything behind her as she completely focused on forcing the window open inch by inch.

Haru walked quickly and quietly through the hall over to the room he was sure he had heard the sound from. He peeked in, seeing the lights on and assuming that meant someone was in here. He walked in and looked around. He didn't see anyone immediately, so he assumed that no one was there.
"Master I smell a digimon in there." Wanyamon whispered excitedly. Even in his stuffy backpack, she could still smell the digimon. She pushed at the sides of the backpack impatiently. She wanted to go meet the new people! She bumped his phone and it beeped. She flinched at the loud noise.
"Wanyamon, BE QUIET!" He hissed at her. He was well aware that he was trespassing. He had no plans of being found out. He slunk around the room, looking for something, anything interesting. He saw movement in the corner of his eye. He saw a girl tugging at the window.
"Excuse me, but would you perhaps require some assistance?" He asked barely suppressing a laugh. This girl looked hilarious trying to open the window. He strolled over to help her. "I don't suppose it was you that made that crash?" He watched her intently. He was sure she had a digimon. He couldn't see her very well though, she was facing the window and he couldn't get a clear look at her.
