Kyle was still unsure as to how he should be acting and reacting around this girl, so when she held up her hand and asked him to slow down, he simply looked on at her in confusion. It wasn't as if he had asked her too many things, nor were they too complicated either. After all, he had only asked her what her digimon's rookie form was and how she got him to his in-training form. However when she finally answered about the digimon's Rookie form, he noted it in his mind to look up the data on Veemon later on when he got back to the lab.
"Yeah, I'd say he's a dragon then." Kyle replied, still unsure of his answer. "I still don't know too much about the different kinds, but I'm pretty sure I've come across something on Veemon before." As for the rest of what she said about it not working as well in this world as it does in the digital world, he could only ponder on that thought. It definitely made sense since there wasn't as much digital data in the human world, which meant that it would be harder for them to collect enough to keep their energy up.
When the girl went on about him knowing more than her, he couldn't help but agreeing with her. However, he still couldn't really bring Gabumon here, even if he did revert to his in-training form. It was just too dangerous for a digimon, even a partnered one, to be around the AIR lab that he worked in. However, he guessed that he would have to give it a try some time or another.
As for her comment about not knowing how to get to the digital world, he looked at her with a confused expression. "You really don't know how to get there?" he asked in disbelief. Had he picked the wrong digidestined to study? He wouldn't be able to learn much if this girl didn't even know how to get to the digital world from her own. Thinking to himself for a moment, he figured that this would most likely be his only chance to befriend a digidestined, and thus concluded that he should at least give her that much. "Do you have a computer, or at least have access to one?" he asked. If she didn't, then this would be pointless. 4 paragraphs

"Wait? Different kinds of dragons? Different from Veemon!? I mean..DemiVeemon?"
Misaka wasn't sure if any of this was possible, but seeing as Tyern had been to the Digital World, he would likely know. Though this brought up the question of what the world looked like? Was it similar to their own or the complete opposite? While the small creature had given her some details, they weren't exactly straight forwards as they were more colorful and not descriptive. Though such a description was to be expected from a Digimon that acted like a toddler.
"What kinds of dragons!? For that matter, whats the Digital World like!?"
Realizing that she was now starting to sound similar to her new friend, the girl giggled before shaking her head.
"Never mind...I'll just wait in till later to ask you all that..."
Listening to him as she asked if she had a computer, the teen nodded before nodding.
"Yea...I have a laptop at home? Is the computer the way to getting into the world?"
It would make sense, considering it had been the same way that DemiVeemon had arrived. The computers had to be connected to the path to and from their worlds. But how to activate it?

Kyle nodded when she asked about other kinds of dragons. "Yeah, digimon are divided into groups based on their most prominent physical traits like dragon, beast, plants and birds to name a few." he explained simply. "So while your digimon is a dragon type, my Gabumon is technically a beast type, even though I'm pretty sure he's a reptile under that fur coat." he finished as he thought a bit more on his own digimon and the fact that he had a lower half that looked reptilian like the dragons, but the fake fur coat thing he always wore was what made him a beast type.
"The dragons are all different colors and shapes, but their basic form is the same - strongly built legs, weak arms, big heads and long tails." he said, not intending any offense at describing what they looked like. It was purely empirical data to him, and he definitely wasn't one to think about such things as someone's feelings before speaking. "As for the digital world, it's not too different from here. They're got different climates, though the main difference would be the areas in which they're all confined together in a small space." he was, of course, talking about file island, even though he hadn't been there just yet.
When she told him that she had a computer and asked if that was the only way in, he simply nodded at first. "Yeah, and you can only go if there's a port open on the computer. So you would either have to use the same computer you used to get him or find a way to open a port on your own." he said, gesturing to Demiveemon in the middle. "There aren't many who know how to make them - for the most part it's just luck in finding a computer that happens to be connected. I'd say it's about a one in thirty chance if you're looking in a small area like a suburb." 3 paragraphs

While Misaka wouldn't consider herself consistently lucky, it did seem as though the computer within her sister's room was one of the few that were connected. Yet how was that possible? What created the connection to the Digital World? The Digi-vice was part of it, but what else? It almost seemed like this ports were already available, though how could that be? So much was still lost to her, thankfully Tyern seemed to have a good grip on the basics.
"Ok....So there are ports within certain computers that allow access to the world. In that case, I'm guessing that the others can be opened up with a Digi-vice like this..."
Holding up the device she had retrieved on DemiVeemon's arrival, the teen then looked it over carefully with a calm expression on her face. She'd never seen anything like this in her life, nor did she realize just how powerful it was in till that very moment. What she had was a key to another world.
"But why would something like this just be transported to our world? For that matter, why are Digimon appearing now?"
That had been on her mind for sometime. At first she imagined that it had been a mistake, but it seemed like this was a common case for a lot of children when finding out about these creatures. Was there something happening that was forcing them out? Or was this all just some large misunderstanding?

"Not necessarily," he began answering her question about opening digiports just with the digivice. "From what I've researched so far, the computer has to already have access to the digital world. Kind of like how you can have a computer, but you need an internet connection to access the web." he continued, trying to explain such a thing in a simplified way for this girl to understand. "I'm not quite sure exactly how it works, but I did at least find a way to be able to locate computers that are compatible." he finished as if it was something that didn't really matter.
The next question that she asked, he couldn't exactly answer. Sure he knew that digimon had been around for a long time, but the only reason he knew that was because of his connection to the main group responsible for them. There was no way that he could let on to this girl that he was a part of the AIR group, and so he opted for a simple denial type of answer.
"That I haven't figured out just yet." he half lied. Truth be told he really didn't know why digivices were showing up to children, but he did know that digimon were not a new thing. "That's actually the main reason I have been looking around at schools lately. I was hoping to be able to compile data to solve those questions, but it's hard to do on my own." 3 paragraphs

Tilting her head to the side, Misaka nodded in acceptance of Tyern's answer. The truth was that it was tough to try and find out so much on your own, especially without giving away what it is that you were seeking. How he managed to run into her was pure luck, considering how she was sure that he had yet to find out about Kazai or Ryutaro. At least, she assumed that she was the only one he had found. Either way, he had quite the task on his hands.
"I see....Well..I guess I couldn't have expected you to know everything right? I mean, you're still new to this like I am..."
Laughing lightly as she gently lowered the sleeping DemiVeemon back into her bag, the teen smiled as she stood up and crossed her arms over her chest before closing her head and sighing.
"Then we better get you enrolled here! That way, we can look together. It will be easier since I know my way around the school and you have a good sense of how the Digital World works...."
It seemed like a decent plan. Two people working on something like this would help it run much smoother than just one person. Besides, she really couldn't just stand by and let him do it by himself. Perhaps working with him would help her get a better understanding of this world, maybe even answer some questions for herself.
"So what do you say? Do you want to team up?"
Holding her hand out towards him, Misaka smiled kindly as she waited to see how he would react.

Kyle, or Tyren as he was calling himself with this girl, nodded when she mentioned him being new to this. Well, he was new to learning about the digidestined point of view, so He could just focus on that for his response when agreeing with her. He figured that he dhould just keep that response to a physical one with just a nod. He had a feeling that if he said anything about it he would sound suspicious. Granted, he didn't think she would be sharp enough to catch his being untruthful, but he really didn't want to risk it.
"Yeah, I was definitely wanting to enroll in a school to help out, I just need to pick one." he said. Though he wanted to ask if there were any other digidestined here at this school, he didn't want to ask that - it would just sound too suspicious, especially since they were supposed to be few and far between. So long as he had one test subject he would be fine, or at least he should be fine.
"Then it's a deal, you show me around the school and I'll show you around the digital world." he said, hopping down and taking her offered handshake. "Well, at least as much as I know that is. I should definitely be able to further my research with a couple extra pairs of hands and eyes. Gabumon's a good help, but it's still just the two of us." he finished before walking towards the door to leave. "I guess I'll be registering for classes here tomorrow, so I guess I'll see you around." 3 paragraphs

It seemed like an even trade. Though in truth she would have given him a tour of the school anyway. After all, friends helped one another out right? While it hadn't been said, Misaka did think of Tyern as a new friend of hers. But still, getting to see this world of monsters was an interesting thought. It was enough to make her pretty excited. Of course, the girl managed to keep her cool as she nodded and smiled towards the boy as he began to make his leave.
"Ok...I guess I'll see you around then...."
Watching as he left, the young teen gently lifted her bag and placed it over her shoulder. Knowing that there was a sleeping Demi-Veemon within, Misaka was careful as she made her way out the shade and started to make her trek home. It was the end to an interesting day, one that would probably remain in her thoughts for the rest of that afternoon.
