School was over for the day, but Shuichi didn’t want to go home just yet, so he set out to practice his different ways to kick the ball on the soccer field. He set his stuff down on the sideline with Puroromon lying across the top of his bag, and Shu began to kick around a ball that hadn’t been put up yet. He was running all over the field while kicking the ball around, and if anyone happened to be watching then they would notice that this youth wasn’t even beginning to tire after ten minutes of running around as fast as he could.
This was to be expected of a kid with a partner who was as hyper as he was, but one wouldn’t know this as Puroromon was doing its best to not rush in and interrupt Shu’s practice. Of course, this didn’t last long as the little creature soon took to the air and shot out to intercept the ball that was about to be kicked by Shu. “Hey! What are you doing, Puroromon?” It seemed that the little Digimon did not like the fact that it had been left out of all the fun, so Shu began to chase it around the schoolyard.
Unfortunately, the flight pattern of a Puroromon is completely random, which mean that Shu had to keep switching directions After about fifteen minutes of what Shu would call extreme running, he collapsed in the middle of the field. Soon after he hit the ground, Puroromon pushed the ball over to his head and stared down at him with a smile on its face. “There are some days where I wish I had a leash for you.” The little bee looking Digimon landed on his chest, and Shu sat there looking up at the sky and waited until his body felt like moving again.

It had been a long day. A few shoots, a signing... all of the fun stuff that a celebrity had to deal with on a daily basis. Kotone was well-disguised by her large sunglasses, accompanied by her bodyguard who she had so-lovingly named 'Collin'. Little did anyone know that this big, tan man that had begun following Kotone around was actually Commandramon in a disguise matrix. To make matters worse, the tabloids even dared call him a possible boyfriend. Ugh. Oh well, she wouldn't tell the big stupid lizard what 'boyfriend' meant. Hopefully the clamor would quiet when they saw how she did her best not to even glance at the tall man.
'Collin' was not exactly happy with having to hide his true form from the world. It made him miss the digital world that much more... there he was something that would be FEARED! But here...? Well, he was still scary, but not in the alien monster way that he'd rather be.
The two were walking home while passing the school. Kotone found her brother crossing her mind as she went to check her watch. Huh. He should be out by now. Maybe he was still there. The girl went to glance around the playground but eventually saw her hyperactive sibling sprinting around the field playing ball with his giant bug.
Oh Shuichi.
When he saw that his partner had stopped, 'Collin' turned to see what Kotone had been looking at. Oh, it was the youngest of her family's royal blood. When he saw Puroromon fluttering about he quickly yanked the disguise matrix off his chest and handed it to Kotone as his form shrunk back into Missimon. There was no chance that he was going to pretend being human around a fellow digimon!
Kotone grimaced at her partner as he dropped the device in her hand but she sighed and pocketed it away. The two then made their way onto the field where Kotone was now standing over Shuichi who had collapsed out of exhaustion.
"Well hey, cutiepie." Kotone addressed her little brother with a warm little smile. She didn't even bother trying to keep herself looking pretty and/or clean of grass stains as she happily sat down on the field next to him. Meanwhile, Missimon dove for the ball to smack it out of the way of Puroromon and his partner.
"HAH! Silly game intercepted and terminated!" Missimon released a cackle the moment his claws clumsily snatched up the ball and started trying to fly off with it. Kotone, of course, took the liberty to swat the ball out of the small digimon's flimsy arms. Of course he would have cursed at her for doing so but Missimon was always willing to show restraint around her youngest brother. Instead he just pouted, and started floating in circles.
"Shuichi. I know I'm going to sound like a gigantic hypocrite because of--" she nodded towards Missimon, "But you really shouldn't leave Puroromon out in the open like this. Someone will see him... and capture him... and, you know, perform those crazy experiments like they were going to in E.T."
It probably wasn't the most sisterly thing to do to remind her youngest brother of that possibly-traumatic American movie. But, hey, fear teaches people lessons. Stays in their brain much longer.

The sound of the word ‘cutie pie’ gave Shu enough energy to sit straight up because there was only one person who called him that, and sure enough Kotone was sitting next to him on the field. “Howdy Sis.” It was a rare treat that his sister would show up at his school for no particular reason, so Shu began to wonder if there was something going on. He was probably just reading into it a little too much, so he was just glad that she was there at all. Shu knew how busy his sister’s schedule could be with all the glamorous jobs that she performed.
Puroromon had been resting comfortably on the ball, and then Shu’s sister’s partner had to disturb that rest by taking the ball away. This inadvertently led to him fluttering in the air until he came resting on Shu’s head like a floating piece of paper, and now he was staring at his partner’s sister with a curious expression when she mentioned him staying hidden like he was a mouse or something. That just seemed completely ridiculous to the buzzing insect, but it was something that he was going to have to hear about from Shu later on in the day.
While Puroromon thought it was silly, Shu understood the warning that his sister had given him, and let out a sigh as he prepared to speak. “I know that it is dangerous for him to be moving outside, but I hadn’t planned on him to start playing with me. He just jumped right in on it like a puppy would.” It was a pretty good comparison seeing as how a puppy and Puroromon had about the same amount of energy, appetite and playfulness, but fortunately a puppy couldn’t fly like his partner could.
“Besides, it would be very difficult for someone to try and capture Puroromon because he already flies like someone is chasing him, so he’ll be completely prepared is someone tries to capture.” These words brought a smile to his face as he could picture some guys trying to grab the bee only to run into one another. It would definitely be something that would make a good home video. “Of course, they would have to get by me first, which we both know is not possible.”

There that kid went again, blowing Kotone's logic out of the water. She couldn't help but feel proud of being related to him, only an Ichijouji could worm their way out of a tight spot using only their wits. The girl gave a rare laugh and placed a hand on his head, ruffling his hair some, "You've got a point." she admitted, nodding to emphasize this. "Good-looking and smart, just like me!"
It was more difficult to get along with Yuu who had been so close in age with her and the nine years between she and Shu was a huge gap. It was hard to get as frustrated with him as she did with Yuu when he outsmarted her or mouthed off. When Shu did it, it was just cute. Kotone's wandering mind suddenly made a realization, "Shouldn't you be home by now?"
Meanwhile, Missimon wasn't happy about being left out of all the fun and praise. The digimon floated over to Puroromon who had rested atop of Shuichi's head. The digimon's little red eyes narrowed challengingly as a smile crossed his sharp beak, "Psh. I bet I could fly ten times as fast than you, Puroromon!" The little digimon managed a laugh and began to circle the other, "Miss Ichijouji! If I wager that I can beat this digimon in a race...what shall I be rewarded if I win?"
Kotone rolled her eyes upwards then gave a shrug. "Bragging rights." she blurted without thinking. She should have known that something so meaningless as bragging rights would have been enough to motivate Missimon to egg on the other even further.
"Perfect! Come on! Bring it on!"

The compliment from his sister brought another smile to his face, which was twice in an hour. Someone should start videotaping the conversation just in case it became a common thing for him. “Yep! It is definitely a family trait along with humility.” [/b] It was definitely true that their family had the corner on intelligence as well as looks, but they also had a lot of issues that probably needed to be dealt with. Kotone’s question about him needing to be at home reminded Shu of what the time was, but he figured their mother wouldn’t be made since he was with his sister after all. “I probably should be, but I got to keep in practice or else someone might come along and beat.”[/b] It wasn’t a likely event, but Shu needed to be at his best at all times so that no one would think that he was in need of some assistance. The Missimon’s movements were not lost to Puroromon who looked down at Shu to see what he would get if he won this so called race. “If you beat the socks off of him, then you get an extra rice ball when we get home.”[/b] The bee didn’t need any more incentive than that as he was a rice ball addict, so the Puroromon was off of Shu’s head in an instant and began to fly around Shu and Kotone in a circular path . “Once around the soccer field seem like a fair race?” Shu wasn’t going to let them go to wild and fly around the entire school as it could lead to someone really taking notice of them, which would not be a good thing for any of them. He looked over at his sister to see what her assessment of this race would be and to see if she was going to try to stop it or not.[/blockquote]

Today was a nice day.
Pinamon peeped softly as she stared up from within Yuu's bag, up at the sky. She really liked the sky. She was able to fly sometimes! And that made the sky really cool. That meant that she could go anywhere she wanted. She could even touch those big fluffy clouds if she wanted! She would have to try that later next time she became big. For now she was small and she was not nearly as capable of flight. "Yuu! When am I gonna be Falcomon again? I wanna fly!"
"Sometime soon, don't worry." The boy glanced down at the book bag at his leg. He felt uncomfortable bringing the digimon around with him. Especially during school days. But today he desired company. Plus he had found that running around with her had drained a lot of the energy that would have been devastating while crammed into the bag all day. She was regaining energy now, though, while he fed her bits of a cracker snack.
When he caught sight of two figures in the field, he had not thought much of them. It was Pinamon's sudden excitement that caused him to take a closer look. This time he saw the two smaller, hovering shapes above the two. At that, it became painfully apparent who those two were. If it were not for his little digimon excitedly exclaiming to him that his brother and sister were there, Yuu would have probably kept on going. If he were to leave now he would most likely never hear the end of it from his little digimon.
"Yuu! Yuu! Kotone and Shu! Lookit! Missimon! Puuuuuuuuuuuuroromon!" she peeped loudly. It was as though she had not seen them in such a long time. He reluctantly turned and started walking over to them, much to Pinamon's delight.
It was not that he did not enjoy his siblings' company. Sure, they had their negative quirks, but what kind of person did not have those? No, it was actually the fact that they were together. He did not hate it, but a part of him....
He envied them.
They just seemed to get along so well. This was stupid, though. He knew it was stupid. As far as he was concerned, being jealous of their relationship together was an extremely petty act of selfishness. He himself did not get along horribly with either of them. Yet he could not help those stupid, selfish, envious thoughts from creeping up on him in the back of his mind. Logic did not help, it only gave him a headache. Sometimes that headache became a migraine. Only a few times it got that bad, however, but it still only fueled the negativity of the situation for him.
He stopped from dwelling on this to raise a hand as he walked closer and closer to the two. "Hi guys," he said, letting a smile curl at the corner of his lip. He did love his siblings, honestly. Those thoughts did not belong. Should not.
"Hi hi hi hi hi!!" Pinamon hopped gleefully out of her bag and skittered toward the two, hopping up and own excitedly. "We saw you we saw you all while over there, so cool!!"

fuck your war - no bombs are falling on me for sure but i'm scared to death that i'm living a life not worth dying for [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style,background-image: url('http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-l8FdJ6pCk_E/Tauw1jW_bII/AAAAAAAAAE8/f17TeGdxeWc/s200/Peach_Damask.png');,true] NOT WORTH DYING FOR .
Kotone stood back away from the three with a crooked smirk, knowing that trying to talk any of these three out of wasting their time with a race would be pointless. They all reminded her of little energizer bunnies... just going and going and --- "Hi guys," Kotone was surprised to hear Yuu's voice here of all places. When she turned to return the greeting she was interrupted by Pinamon's happy greeting. All she could manage was a soft snort while Missimon faced the small bird and soaked in the compliment. "Tch, of course it was cool!" What he did that was so cool...he had forgotten already. But his pride always got the better of him when it came to this sort of thing. And of course, his human partner could only roll her eyes as he took this praise. Now that her mind was in the right place she could finally turn to say 'hi' to Yuu that had decided to join them this calming afternoon... at least until her cellphone rang with its trademark pop song, ♫ Boys and girls pretend to know me they try so hard--♫Kotone groaned and dipped her hand into her pocket, promptly pressing the green 'CALL' button and held the device up to her ear, "Hello?". . . "Shit... Yeah, I heard you. I know. Okay...I'll be right over." With a scoff, Kotone pocketed her cell phone and turned her look towards her brothers, forcing a little smile towards the two. "I guess I left some papers back at the studio. They want me to come pick them up so I can finish signing them or something." Kotone rolled her eyes in a dismissive fashion - them being her brothers would probably know that Kotone did her best to avoid going through paperwork as much as possible. All the signatures...the reading... blech. "Missimon, c'mon. I need 'Collin' to escort me back."Unfortunately for Kotone, the hot-headed missile was by far too distracted with the promise of victory. The digimon was spiraling around Pinamon and Puroromon, taunting them and daring them to try and beat him in this race. With a twitch of her brow, Kotone began to grate her teeth together in response to this display. Oh well, he'd only have a few more moments of celebrating this victory prematurely before she went over to Shu and took his cheeks in her hand with an obnoxious squeeze. Kneeling down, she pecked her youngest brother on the forehead and pulled back, patting the boy on the head. "I'll be home later, okay?"As she pulled away from Shu and went to bid her other brother farewell, she just stared at Yuu with a semi-awkward smile. He had gotten a bit old for her to really dote on him like that... maybe that was the reason why she and Shu seemed to get along so much better than she did with Yuu. The girl's eyes darted back and forth once, from his face, to her feet, to the ground, to back to his face. With a shrug of her shoulders she offered him a swift wave that barely leveled with her side. "Make sure he gets home safe, kay?" she said to him without making eye-contact, silently ashamed that she couldn't formulate a 'goodbye' made just for Yuu. And with that, Kotone spun on her heels, a stray vein in her forehead popping with the frustration that came with dealing with a hyperactive (and proud) missile. "MISSIMON! LEAVING. NOW!" Missimon came to a complete halt so that he may face his angry keeper. The sight of Kotone's expression was enough to scare him into silence (and while he would have retorted with the same rage and volume, he knew better than to talk back when she was THIS angry.) The digimon faltered as he glanced between Puroromon and Pinamon, making a few unsure grunts before throwing his claw in both their directions, "We're not finished here!" he exclaimed in a shaken voice and then hovered over to Kotone's side. Kotone rolled her wrist out the same manner as her eyes would when handing Missimon his disguise matrix which he took with silent fear and placed it firmly against his chest. In a quick flash of light, the tall, tan man that had arrived with Kotone stood in the digimon's place. It was probably something of a comical sight, a man that towered over Kotone that appeared to fear for his life in her presence. The two turned in the opposite direction without a word to the boys, trying to look as cool as possible in the light of the sunset. - E X I T -

Shu turned when he heard someone call out to them, and he was surprised to see his older brother Yuu coming towards them. Of course, he had his little partner alongside him, and she seemed as hyper as the other two Digimon that were connected to their family. “How’s it going, Yuu?” He wasn’t sure what the heck the Digimon were talking about, and it didn’t seem to matter as it wasn’t directed at him in any way.
It seemed like this was going to be a nice sibling bonding experience, but the tone of the phone signaled otherwise as his sister had a call to take. After a minute on the phone, Kotone announced that she was going to have to go back to the studio to get some things, which brought a rain on Shu’s happy parade. At least he got a kiss on the forehead from his sister to show that she wasn’t leaving because she was bored by what the Digimon were doing.
Unfortunately, things got weird when Kotone went to say goodbye to Yuu as it had become an order-like question that needed to be followed. Shu wasn’t exactly sure how his older brother was going to take such an order, but his mind didn’t dwell on it as Missimon announced that this idea of a race was not finished yet. The young Ichijouji foresaw a race around the house that was going to leave many things damaged by the small Digimon.
Once Kotone and ‘Collin’ were out of sight, Shu had turned toward his brother with a smile on his face and a newly placed Puroromon on his head, which happened sometime during his sister’s departure. “And I thought that Puroromon was a busy little bee.” It was the only comment that he could think of saying at this point in the conversation.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 400px; bTable] "Everything's fine," Yuu responded, giving his little brother a smile.
Pinamon was so happy she thought she could have burst! When Missimon proceeded to let her know that something was cool (having already let slip from herself that she had said the same thing moments ago) she could not help but dart frantically in a circle, sparks sputtering out of her tail feathers out of sheer excitement.
These little electrical discharges did not go unnoticed by her partner. Missimon's taunting did not help at all with the situation, as his actons only proved to excite the hyperactive digimon. Yuu started to step in in what would have most likely been a pointless and likely self-destructive attempt at calming the missile digimon. His actions were unneeded, however, as his sister suddenly spoke up after speaking on her phone. He had not caught what was said thanks to his distraction by the others.
Paper signing? He let out a soft sigh. They were always getting her for that. It caused more of a hassle for her as she usually ended up having to go back to the studio or have someone from there follow her to the house. It was odd to him that she did not just do it and get it over with. Then again, this was Kotone. It was a show of defiance she could throw at them that was incredibly unlikely to get her fired (she seemed to enjoy working there, after all, just not having to deal with all the tedious things), yet be annoying enough to make... some sort of point. He was not sure if it had a real point but oh well.
Yuu found himself staring at his sister in a suddenly incredibly awkward silence. She showed sudden signs of uncharacteristic nervousness and unsureness before giving him what could probably be considered an arm wiggle and a clipped request regarding their younger sibling.
That was fine. Whatever. It is nothing. He grit his jaw and nodded, trying not to show anything. It was a simple request, one which he would have done regardless, but he appreciated the show of concern for their youngest sibling. Yeah, that was it, that was right.
Pinamon had to resist the urge to fling herself at Missimon when he gave them one last shout. Unfinished! They had to finish something! They were supposed to race, right? With every fiber of her being, she wished to be 'finished here' with Missimon and Puroromon. The fact that it had to be put on hold (whatever it was) and saved for another time ate away at her and made her want to cry. At least this meant it would happen later, though, right? Right! What? Okay! She started plucking up grass at random, any sign of being upset completely and totally gone from the bird's mind.
The young man did not watch Kotone and Missimon leave, watching his little digimon instead. She was so incredibly oblivious. It seemed nice.
He blinked and looked back over at Shu, letting the corner of his mouth twitch upward. That was a cute comment. He really thought that to. He forced himself to push aside... everything. He shuffled over toward his little brother, scratching at his head and letting out a soft laugh. "Yeah always running around," he muttered out quickly, dismissively. "Hey, you wanna stay here for a bit longer or start heading back now? We could do a lap or something I dunno." He shrugged. Athleticism was not something that held too much of an interest for the boy, but running actually sounded pretty good at the moment.

Puroromon was watching the little Pinamon who was messing with the grass on the ground like it was some sort of game. This brought on what he had been doing earlier, which was pushing a soccer ball around the entire field so that Shu couldn’t get it. This seemed like the best idea to cheer him up now that there wasn’t going to be a race within the next few moments.
Unfortunately, he was a little too tired to actually do anything at the moment, which was odd as he had felt as energetic as a bunny when Missimon and Pinamon had been so enthusiastic about flying around the field. It probably had something to do with the fact they had left before the race could start, and that would put a rain on anyone’s good mood even the cheerful little bee.
At this point, Shu was sort of startled by Yuu’s laugh at his comment, but only because it was something that he was not used to. It was almost as shocking as the words that came out of his brother’s mouth next. Shu had always known Yuu to be more of a bookworm type rather than someone who found entertainment in simply running around like a little kid, but since it had been his brother’s suggestion then there was no since in wasting it. Who knew when the next time they would be together in such a peaceful setting?
“I’m up for a little run around the soccer field if you are, but remember to stretch.” Shu didn’t want either one of them to pull something as it would be a very painful walk back to their home, but he was sure that his brother already knew about the importance of stretching before any physical activity.
Shu started to stretch even though he had already done it before kicking around the soccer ball, and as he was reaching down to touch his toes a thought popped into his head. “So Yuu, do you have any plans for the weekend?” If the answer was no, then Shu was going to suggest that they do something together, and if the answer was yes then he would just offer to make a plan for them to do something else together the next time they were both free.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 400px; bTable] Pinamon stopped flitting around the grass for a moment to stare up at Puroromon. She jttered and rushed her way forward, chirping happily at the other digimon. "Wanna play? We could play! Play? Should! Yes!" Not waiting for an answer, she started darting around again. Her unfocussed actions did not change much from before her burst of words toward the insect but she still seemed so much happier for it. Maybe he would run around with her!
The corner of Yuu's lip twitched. He felt a little awkward at the idea of stretching but that was what the athletic kids of the school did all the time anyway. Why would it feel awkward in the slightest? It still did, but he punched the emotion down enough so he could just do it. He followed his little brother's example, stretching like he was to help loosen his muscles.
"Plans?" he uttered thoughtfully. He thought for a moment. There were no friend-related events, no tests to study for, that he could think of. Of course things like that could change at the last minute but oh well. He had some math homework every night but that never took him so long that he would feel the need to spend the whole weekend on it all. Wait, his little brother was asking him this, that meant that he wanted to make plans with him, did it not? No wait, he could just be curious.
The boy smiled a little bit as he straightened himself from his stretches, looking over the field for a moment. "No I don't really have any plans. Uh why what about you? You planning anything?"

Puroromon stared at the little Pinamon that had asked if he wanted to play, but no answer was needed as the little ball of feathers was already on the move around the field like a metallic ball being knocked around by two magnets. She was moving so fast that the insect Digimon’s head was about to explode trying to keep up with her, so he decided that he would have to do the only plausible thing in such a situation. He took off from Shu’s head and began to chase after the Pinamon at top speed, and Puroromon thought that if he caught her then she would stop moving so fast.
Meanwhile, Shu’s eyes were observing his brother as he performed some stretching movements while thinking over what Shu had just asked Yuu, and he wondered how his brother would answer him. Would Yuu have actual plans, would he make something up to avoid being asked the second question that might lead to something that was more unpleasant or would he say that he was completely free for the weekend in question? This was something Shu wouldn’t know until the question was actually answered, but he was hoping for the last one.
Once Yuu did answer the question, a smile appeared on Shu’s face as he knew that they would be able to spend some real quality time together. “Well I was thinking of heading to Puroromon’s original home, and I was wondering if you wanted to come along. It might be fun spend some time exploring such a large place, so what do you say? Do you wanted to come along to the DW with me?”
