Rain...There was nothing more dreadful to a young girl than rain. It left you without any way of emerging from within your home and made you a prisoner. This was the case for Sonia, forced to remain indoors as she wasn't allowed to play in the rain. Of course, this was made worse by the fact that her adopted parents both had to work. So, she was left under the care of Mrs. Junichi. Mrs.Junichi, while a nice old woman, wasn't very watchful. This due to her usually falling asleep within the living room while watching her dramatic stories.
Though Sonia didn't complain, for this gave her the chance to allow Sora from his hiding place in her room. Due to the size of their apartment, Sonia was gifted with a very large closet. It was almost the exact size of a small room, despite the fact that she had clothes within it. During their time within Japan, her parents had gotten rather used to Odaiba, which had turned their short time stay into somewhat of a permanent one. They had seemed to all but forget the letter, despite Sonia reminding them.
But as of a few months passed, they believed that it had been somewhat of a lost cause, telling her that it was likely that her parents just hadn't made any effort of contacting them. Yet, the young girl still believed and she still hoped that she would hear something from them. Though today, her thoughts were elsewhere.
Sitting by her bedroom window, the young girl sighed as she rested her head upon her hands before returning her attention towards her pink and white spotted laptop that held the image of a pony on it's screen.
"Are you sure that your world is connected to mine Sora? I mean....I haven't seen any other Digimon like you since we left that huge building. I even put it into Google and it doesn't say anything about it....."

"Are you sure that your world is connected to mine Sora? I mean....I haven't seen any other Digimon like you since we left that huge building. I even put it into Google and it doesn't say anything about it....."
BlackGabumon looked up at his partner. "Yes, I am sure our worlds are connected. How else would I be standing here in the human world?" He asked her gently. He scratched his ear, flashing the symbol on his left hand. "It is unlikely that you will see any other digimon so soon. You walk past the everyday, but they are hidden. Taking on the guise of animals, or in some cases humans."
"And I don't know what 'Google' is, but If it is a human device, it is unlikely to pick up any traces of digital presence." He shrugged, showing both his palms. He plopped down on the floor, still just enjoying being freed from his cage in the A.I.R facilities.

The mention of Digimon appearing as human beings caused the girl to blink before resting her gaze upon her new Digimon friend. It was a weird thought to think that they could change forms, but then she wasn't sure what the limitations were for such beings. In truth, Sonia hadn't really asked too much about what Digimon were capable of, simply believing that talking was the major aspect to their strengths. But if that wasn't the case, and they could change shape, then how many more Digimon were out there other than Sora and the ones she'd seen inside that building? Not to mention, how they could pull off appearing as everyday creatures out in the world?
"What do you mean? How can you be able to do that? I mean....You're pretty big Sora...and you don't look like a human being?"
Standing up from her window sill, the young girl walked over towards the Blk.Gabumon, looking him over with a calm expression. She didn't see anything really similar to her. She even lifted up his paw and poked the center to see if his skin was soft, which it wasn't.
"How can Digimon look like human beings?"
