APPEARANCE.
Years ago, Nicodemus entered the digital world as a 13-year-old child - and that's how he's stayed this entire time. He's of average height, 5 feet, though perhaps a little shorter than some his age. His hair is blonde, short, and easily kept, which is a blessing since Nicodemus seems to be less than obsessive about his appearance. He has a fair face for a child, and blue eyes that are nothing at all outstanding.
As most young boys are, Nico's clothing gets very little attention. He sports a simple dark t-shirt and khaki pants, as well as a khaki jacket. His only real accessory is a mouse and keyboard, which hang connected to each other. They perform the same style function as a fur boa, the connecting wires worn about Nico's neck and shoulders. He has easy reach if (and when) he ever needs to type. After all, what hacker would be a hacker without his keys?
PERSONALITY.
The years may not have passed in the Digital World, at least not enough to age him physically - Nicodemus is still a 13-year-old child on the outside but, in a way, has grown into the mental capacity of a young adult closer to 20. Interaction with the various creatures of the Digital World has helped him improve the antisocial nature he'd learned as a child in the real world.
Nico is not picky. If it would get something done faster or more efficiently, he'll do it himself with no complaining. He has no room for vengeful things and would very much rather a job was completed without personal attachment. However, because of this he tends to appear standoffish and cold to nearly anyone he meets. This is especially true for any of those that call themselves digidestined, though when it comes to these individuals, some of his humanity will come through. Because of Nico's situation, he strives to acquire the digivice of one of the other children in the hope that it will return him to the real world. This is his major goal and so long as he gains it, no measure is questionable.
Deep down is where Nico's true emotions are seething. Thanks to the events and consequences of his early time in the Digiworld, his usually-peaceful, happy, and lonely thoughts matured into something dark and terrifying. If someone claims to have a way to send him back, they will become his focus. Becoming a child again, despite the immaturity it would show, is not below Nicodemus.
HISTORY.
father; unknown, not even to him.

Nicodemus, before his abrupt trip to the Digital World, was the son of a clothing designer. His mother cared for him and he knew his father only slightly, as he would only see the man every few months and knew nothing about him except for what was shown on the outside. His mother loved him and he knew it - however, as her profession often demanded, she was away much of the time. Nico was given ample time alone to find a hobby, and he quickly found interest and skill in the world of the internet - and hacking. He became quite good at manipulating computer data, and spent nearly all of his time on a computer.
Nico panicked the day he - and the others of his group of digidestined - were pulled from the real world and deposited in the Digital. In his fright and with the hacking knowledge he'd come to obsess over, Nico found some way of altering his destination - instead of arriving in the same vicinity as the other children, he found himself alone on the outskirts of the Wire Desert. Even a child knows better than to wander a desert alone, and so Nico turned around and went towards the Yokomon Village instead. It was here that he met the first digimon of his experience. He was lucky - the digimon he ran into, for the most part, were friendly. After the initial terror and shock of this sudden event, it seemed that he'd arrived in a new and exciting world - and to top it all off, the creatures here were nice.
This went on for a little while - Nico wandering about by himself, making acquaintances with various digimon of and around Yokomon Village. He learned from them that most humans that came to the Digiworld became Digidestined - they had a predetermined Digimon partner and could travel to and from the Digiworld with the Digivice that connected the two. Unfortunately they had no information that could be of use to the child as to where he could find his Digimon or Digivice, but it didn't bother him. He already considered some of the Digimon he'd met as friends and this world had proved safe and more exciting than the real world.
Of course, it wouldn't last forever, but he didn't know that. One day, the child went out alone down a path near the village, having taken the way so often that he felt safe going alone. He met a Woodmon who quickly befriended the child; he was led quite voluntarily to the Digimon's "friends".
At this point and time, only two Digimon called themselves Harvesters - NeoDevimon and Astamon. After they got ahold of Nicodemus, they applied the same treatment every captured human received - the dark spore. It spread through the child's being with ease, taking advantage of the quiet, resourceful kid that had spent much of his time alone. Fortunately for him (at least he thought so, at the time), Nicodemus escaped before the Harvesters were able to reap the dark energy that had begun to grow. This was when Nico first learned that he could alter the world around him - if in very limited amounts. He quickly learned that the larger changes he made, the more weary he became and the longer it took to recuperate. However this skill helped keep him safe over the next months spent without a Digimon partner.
Now, the dark spore continues to grow, getting closer and closer to being completely.. him. Nico doesn't consciously know of the spore inside of him, understanding that the darker and darker thoughts he comes up with are the perfectly normal result of his desire to get home and tiredness of the world he'd come to be in.
