APPEARANCE.
Five feet, seven inches is how tall Hikaru stands and the boy weighs roughly 137 pounds. His light brown hair is cut short and is quite choppy. He's got quite a bit of hair, even though it's straight it's no where near flat. His eyes are a medium brown, looking like melted caramel.
As for clothing, he's usually found in his school uniform, or in a pair of jeans and a shirt. However, on the rare chance you've found him at home, you'll be surprised. You'd find him bearing the traditional kannushi outfit, which is similar to a hakama. He wears a dark colored shirt and black pants, and a white haori. In the digital world, however, he looks slightly different. His hair has turned a dull silver and his eyes have taken on the same tint of silver. He now wears a plain dark green and black men's kimono, white tabi socks, and a pair of geta sandals.
PERSONALITY.
Silence. That's most of what you'll get from Hikaru if you try to talk to him. For a long time, his parents thought he was mute, not talking to them or anyone. He's not mute though, he would just prefer not to talk. He's a loner, and devotes a lot of his time to study. Hikaru is more of a follower than a leader, preferring others to make the big decisions and tell others what to do. He's quite naive, but he's not an airhead and actually quite smart, but he's book smart and lacks a lot of social knowledge and common sense. He knows enough to not step in front of a moving car, along with other obvious actions, but complex actions confuse him.
He's very devoted to his position as the student of the local kannushi. He's a loyal believer in the Shinto religion and believes heavily in the God that is enshrined in the shrine that he manages with his mentor. He doesn't smile much, being quite serious about his work, but the only time you may see him smiling is when greeting people who come to visit the shrine. He enjoys greeting the people that visit the shrine, even if it's not a lot of people.
Because of his social awkwardness, he tries not to associate with other people to minimize embarrassing himself. One of his greatest fears is public embarrassment, so he tries to minimize human contact as much as possible. This fear is quite debilitating, and limits his studies greatly since a kannushi spends a great deal of time around other people. His fear also limits him as a person, making him too afraid to be social. However, he loves to listen to people, even if he doesn't say much in return, just the company of another person and hearing them speak is pleasant to Hikaru.

"Sengen-sama, please let this pregnancy be a good one."
November 15th, Hikaru was born to two loving parents. He was a happy and active little toddler. He loved to play and explore, and his family supported his adventurous nature. He got into all kinds of trouble as a toddler, such as wandering out on his own, only to have his parents spend hours looking for him. But despite all his misadventures, his parents let him continue his adventurous behaviour.
Once he was thirteen, his parents sent him to Odaiba from the countryside to live with a family friend and learn how to manage a shrine that he runs just on the other side of the Rainbow bridge. A few years after starting to learn how to manage the shrine, he had to preform his first ceremony. During the ceremony he messed up his words greatly, and embarrassed himself in front of a good amount of people, thus his fear of speaking emerges.
He was always an alright student, but with his sudden quietness, his grades went slightly down. More focused on Kannushi training than schoolwork, he drops out of school much to his family's disappointment. His family's friend still keeps him as an apprentice but makes him get a part-time job as well. Now at seventeen, he's a high school drop-out, working a part-time job, and managing to study his work as a kannushi.
