Eyes snapping open, Ryusuke sat up with a start, his left hand coming up to grip his right shoulder, cringing as he did as it gave of a slow, throbbing ache with a similar pain emenating from his lower left thigh, something that didn't happen unless it there was a storm brewing, which confused him all the more since the forcast for the day had said it would be sunny. In fact there hadn't been a could in the sky when he'd left the school's dojo, and it was only as he began to slowly look around at his surroundings that he realized that things were very, very wrong. Rather than being surrounded by the varying mixes of grass, concrete, glass and steel that made up the majority of the Odaiba high school property he was in a small clearing in the middle of what looked like a forest, with not a single sign of civilization in sight. While he'd been camping often enough with his dad that the forest didn't worry him too much, what concerned him most was that everything had changed from what he could last remember off the top of his head. There was no trace of any of the customary smells that came with his hometown, nor any of the associated sounds. If he didn't know better he would have reasoned that he'd been transported halfway across the world, an impossible feat for so short an amount of time.
It was only when he looked down that he realized that the concept of time might be a moot point. Rather than the white gi and belt he'd been wearing was a completely different outfit, one that he would've never chosen beyond the tank top he felt under the black, neck clasped shirt, crimson longcoat and white cloth gloves. The pants didn't seem too bad and the boots would come in handy, but he couldn't remember changing into them no matter how hard he tried, although now that he put some effort into it he was able to remember what he'd been doing last - all he'd done was step out of the school dojo, walk a few meters down the hall and order a drink from one of the vending machines during a break in club activities. He was unable to remember anything beyond that save for a bright white light before waking up where he currently was, and the fact that he was of clear mind and did not feel dizzy or dehydrated meant that there was no concussion involved, and he'd never seen much point to many of the less accepted practices many students had.
Figuring that there was little point to staying where he was, Ryusuke stood up, the heavy duty boots sinking a centimeter or two into the soft ground before finding purchase. Glancing around again, Ryusuke decided that the best course of action would be to head to higher ground and try to get a view of the surrounding landscape, and while climbing a tree was certainly and option he had no desire to risk attempting to grip the damp, slippery wood with a metal hand, glove or no. Moving to the edge of the clearing, Ryusuke began slowly and methodically pushing through the underbrush with his prosthetic arm on the offchance that he touched something toxic, following the slight upward slope in the ground as he moved.

Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.
Tetsuya was unamused. He had just wanted to check the internet! Then suddenly he was lying on the ground in the middle of a forest! Angry footsteps stomped through the undergrowth, pressing down innocent plants and grass that got caught underneath his feet. He had just wanted to relax today, was that too much to ask? Granted, he was always "relaxing", but he was genuinely tired today. Then he winds up here. Speaking of which...
Where exactly was he?
The brown haired boy stopped and looked around for a moment, the fact he was somewhere he didn't know having completely slipped his mind until now. Glance to the left, peek at the right. He was lost. Tetsuya frowned and resolutely decided he was lost. Looking around, he spotted a fairly tall tree with what looked like sturdy branches. However, the tree was covered in a thick overcoat of moss. That wouldn't stop him though! The older teen stomped over to the tall plant and grabbed a branch, hefting himself up onto the limb. Branch by branch he slowly made his way up, the branches getting minutely smaller the higher he got.
He got as high as he could in the tree, the next sets of branches were too small for stable support. Despite being so high up, he was still too low to see anything of interest.
"Dammit!" he shouted and stomped his foot in aggravation. A sickening crack came from the branch below him and the wood fell away from his feet, leaving him dangling to the branch above his head. He hung there for a moment, until the moss decided to be slippery. Slowly his hands slipped off the branch, and he thought for a moment he would be lucky enough to hit the branch below him. He did, but soon slipped off that branch too. And the next. And the next. He continued to slip and hit another branch, until a few yards from the ground he slipped and went sailing towards the ground.
"Hot gas!"

Having trudged through the underbrush for a handful of minutes Ryusuke was starting to get used to the throbbing sensation his stumps were giving off, and had returned to being able to move with fluidity and ease. Pushing another wall of densely packed foliage out of his way with his prosthetic arm, Ryusuke stepped out into yet another small clearing similar to the handful he had already passed through. As he walked out into it he finally realized where much of his unease had been coming from - the forest itself was where much of his unease sprang from. It wasn't the possibility of wild animals that worried him, and it wasn't even the fact that he was genuinely lost. It had taken him awhile to notice it, but it was how the forest was arranged that had been giving him the nagging feeling of unease since arriving. It was subtle, and he probably wouldn't had noticed it if it hadn't been for the previous clearings he'd passed through, but there was no other word for it - the forest itself was arranged. It was not arrayed as a natural grown forest should have been - there was too much uniformity, even if it wasn't blaringly obvious, and the clearings were spaced too evenly apart, as if they'd been artificially made, which they hadn't. He'd had yet to see a single tree stump or any fallen or dead trees, which every forest had at least a few of. As it was he was getting nowhere by attempting to get to higher ground - while the ground continued to slowly slope upwards he'd seen no hill or mountain ahead, which was what he'd been hoping for.
Stopping in the middle of the clearing, Ryusuke decided to abandon his original plan, albeit with one small problem - it was all he had. Without knowing where he was and unable to recognize anything, even the local plantlife, he was stumped and for the first time in his life he had no idea how to respond to a situation. Producing a slight clacking sound from his prosthetic as he clenched both hands in frustration, Ryusuke was preparing to simply pick a direction at random and begin walking when he heard something he hadn't expected - the sound of someone yelling. Head snapping around to face the direction it had come from, Ryusuke didn't hesitate for a moment as he set off in a sprint towards the source of the noise, noting the numerous instances of cracking wood that he heard along with each shout. Bursting through another layer of underbrush just in time to hear someone shout "hot gas" of all things, Ryusuke stopped short a few meters away from where an man slightly older than him from appearances was falling towards the ground, simply staring with a deadpan expression and noting that he'd made the correct choice when he'd decided not to climb a tree earlier.
"........ you know, there's a reason I didn't try that earlier." Ryusuke said, simply standing in place for a few moments as he scrutinized the other man, realizing that he recognized him from somewhere, only noting a few moments later that he was another student from Odaiba High.
"Any idea where we are, or how you got here?" Ryusuke asked a moment later, moving forward with the intent of helping the other student to his feet.

"Hot gas!"
Okay, so he wasn't falling anymore. Well, not as fast anyways. A cloud of steaming hot gas puffed out beneath him. It smelled horrible, but just so long as he wasn't falling so fast anymore, he could deal with it. When he was couple feet above the ground the cloud dispersed, dropping him onto his behind. "Ow." he grunted. And looked up. A blonde teen was staring down at him. "Oh. Hi." Tetsuya sat up and looked around.
"........you know, there's a reason I didn't try that earlier."
"Yeah, well, it beats walking around in circles getting even more lost before." The brown-haired teen glanced around, wondering where the puff of steam had come from. He didn't have long to wonder though, the blond boy was onto his next question.
"Any idea where we are, or how you got here?"
"Good question, I have no idea where we are. And the last thing I remember doing is going online to check my email and surf the web." He stood on his own, ignoring the younger teen's offer to help him up. Tetsuya dusted himself off and looked around the tree, pushing various bushes and tall plants aside. "Okay. Whatever or whoever sent that puff of steam to catch me, come out." The man was curious to know if there was anyone else around and if they could help them get out of the jungle. Quiet whispering could be heard from the bushes off to his left. Suddenly a small, green and yellow winged lizard thing fell out of the bush. It had what looked like a pair of antlers or horns on its head. It was sorta floating, not having any kind of feet. It just had a pair of wings and floated on what a gust of wind would look like if it could be seen. "Oh! Hello! I'm Babydmon! I'm your digimon partner!"Well, this was quite the turn of events. Burying the flash of irritation that came with the other student's reply to his initial question, Ryusuke was tempted to retract his offer for assistance for a moment before the decision was made for him, the student climbing up to stand on his own and dusting himself off as he did so. Lowering his own gloved hand in response, Ryusuke made no comment as the other student took a moment to answer the second question he'd asked, again slightly irritated at the response while well aware that he had no right to be. If anything it made perfect sense with what he already knew, and seemed to follow the same series of events that had led to him arriving wherever they currently were. To put it bluntly, they'd both been minding their own business only to suddenly end up in the forest with no memory of how they got there. It wasn't enough information to act off of alone, but it was a start. His response did, however, bring one or two other points of interest to mind.
"Alright, you're just as lost as I am then. I just have a couple of other questions, though. First, where you alone in the last place you remember being, and second, are those the clothes you were wearing at the time?" Ryusuke asked, his hand rising to chest height but with his arm drawn in as he pointed at the other person's shirt with his index finger. The student, however, didn't appear to be listening, instead calling out into the woods saying things that Ryusuke didn't understand? Puff of steam? All he'd seen was the guy take a nasty fall and apparently brush it off. Lowering his hand and considering taking a step forward, Ryusuke was beginning to open his mouth to speak again when a creature the likes of which he'd never seen before emerged from the bushes, stopping Ryusuke mid step as he turned his head to face it. It wasn't the creature's appearance that caught his attention, but rather the fact that is was seemingly hovering in midair without any means of doing so, although that paled in comparison to what it did next.
All expression wiped from his face, Ryusuke simply stared with a blank expression, an awkward silence filling the clearing for several moments as his brain processed what just happened.

KUWAGAMON the WILD DIGIMON
[/sup] If Ryusuke was having issues comprehending what he had seen already, then this just might serve to send him into a comatose state.
In the distance there was terribly loud noise, a buzzing similar to a bee flying except quite amplified... And the noise was growing louder. A horrible roar shook the air, even louder than the buzzing as a large insectoid digimon came into view. Kuwagamon did not know what these things were but knew they were not digimon, and as a result merely wanted them out. That or dead, dead was always better since it ensured the creatures would never be back.
This was how it seemed to work to the champion digimon anyway.
Kuwagamon gave another loud roar as it swooped over the trees above the two teenage boys and the small Babydmon, the gust created from its wings making the foliage below lean and shake. The digimon circled back around as quick as it could manage, its scissor like pincers snapping in irritation. It was no longer intending to let the humans simply run off, as the longer the champion thought about it the more they realized it just wanted to erase the humans entirely. So it was then decided death would indeed be what it was aiming for, the insect digimon diving down towards them with its pincers agape and ready to snap closed to cut them in half.
Kuwagumon tolerated the other digimon in the forest, but just barely and only as long as they stayed out of its way. Humans however it simply wouldn't tolerate, especially not these two were causing such a disturbance in the champion digimon's opinion... Or maybe it just simply didn't like humans, read as 'anyone'. Perhaps maybe Kuwagumon just enjoyed cutting things apart, and just liked to feel things writhe between its pincers the short moment before one piece became two. The digimon's thoughts or feelings were never exactly stated, since all it ever seemed to do was roar.
Either way the digidestined better run, and fast.played by Jinx posts so far 1 bits £50 rewards transfer to... Hayate[/blockquote]

"Oh! Hello! I'm Babydmon! I'm your digimon partner!"
Tetsuya wasn't sure what to make of this new revelation. This thing had called itself a digimon. Not only that, but it was now calling itself his partner. He stared down at the 'digimon', still frankly quite in shock over the whole situation. He just continued to stare at the small, dragon-like thing. "Okay, so, digimon partner. Yeah. This is all just some fucked up dream." Tetsuya stood up and Babydmon stared up at him. "D-dream...? This isn't a dream! Check your pocket, I bet you have a digivice in there!" The small dragon digimon smiled proudly as the brown haired teen gave him a skeptical look and reached into his pocket. Sure enough there was something in there that he didn't remember being in there before. It looked like a small walkie-talkie device. "This?""Yep! That's it! That helps me to digivolve into higher levels!" Tetsuya was still unsure about this whole thing. Then he remembered hearing the blonde kid ask him something a few minutes before. "Alright, you're just as lost as I am then. I just have a couple of other questions, though. First, where you alone in the last place you remember being, and second, are those the clothes you were wearing at the time?" "Well, yeah. My dad is always out of town and stuff and I don't have a mother, so I'm always home alone. And no, actually, this is what I wear to school..." It was true, for some reason he was wearing what he normally wore on a school day, not what he had been wearing at home. Buzzing. Tetsuya looked up in the air to see a large insect headed for them. It was nothing like what he had seen before. The large red bug was headed towards them as well. Forgetting momentarily about the blonde kid and Babydmon, he dove for the bushes and started running. "H-hey! Tetsuya! Where are you go- oh!" Babydmon spotted the large Kuwagamon. Huffing, it floated up to face the large, mean red insect digimon. "Leave my partner alone! Hot gas!" The small dragon digimon puffed up and burped out a large puff of steaming hot, horrible smelling gas right into the other digimon's face. [/blockquote]

Blankly continuing to stare at the creature as it kept speaking to the other student, Ryusuke's mind finally snapped back into gear several seconds later, a number of different thoughts racing through his head as he considered every possibility he could think of, first and foremost the possibility that they were in a dream. While it was a very tempting idea to get behind, too many things both did and didn't add up, first and foremost being the fact that he knew the other student, although not by name - had it been a dream, chances were that he would have immediately recognized the guy, whether he was a real person from a memory or a figment of his own imagination. The very fact that he didn't know his name pretty much put the first nail in the coffin, followed by the fact that the sensory perception was too vivid - in a dream most people either felt everything or nothing at all, and while he was dully aware of several sensations he was able to focus on each of them in turn, first and foremost being the numerous small bruises that he'd picked up during the sparring match he'd been in right before "arriving" wherever they were. Finally there was the fact that he still had his prosthetics - while he didn't dream often, every one that he could remember had his original arm and leg rather than the metal replacements.
Still staring in the direction of the small creature but not really at him anymore, his eyes slightly unfocused as he kept thinking things over, Ryusuke was only vaguely paying attention to his surroundings until an impossibly large shadow swept by overhead. Followed by a roar and an incredibly strong wind that made Ryusuke automatically squint and bring up his right arm to protect his face as it tugged at his clothes and hair, his head turning around to track the object, the high school student's eyes snapping wide and alert as he saw what it was. Continuing to fly away from them was an impossibly large insect, something that the very laws of physics dictated should not have been able to exist with earth's gravity, let alone fly. Ryusuke's eyes continued to track the insect as it began banking around, roaring again as it quickly began eating up the distance between him, the other student and the small creature in the clearing with them. Hearing a sound behind him Ryusuke glanced over his shoulder only to do a double take as he saw that the other studen had dived for the bushes, not even bothering to let Ryusuke know that he was leaving or at least advising him to run.
"HEY!" Ryusuke shouted, beginning to turn to follow him only to see the smaller creature start rising up to meet the monster closing in on them. Making a failed attempt to try and grab the thing before it rose out of his reach, Ryusuke seethed for a fraction of a moment before darting into the bushes himself, following the path that the other human had taken only to dive to the ground a moment later out of instinct as the orange bug passed by over head, breaking his fall with his arms as he landed on his stomach. Sorely irritated, Ryusuke put aside all thought related to how they had ended up in the situation they were in and began thinking of ways to get out of it.

KUWAGAMON the WILD DIGIMON
[/sup] Kuwagamon gave a loud roar as it noticed the humans were running away, as if irritated that they had not stayed still long enough for it to cut them in half. Now it would have to go after them, and with all the trees in the way that wouldn't be entirely easy... Without cutting quite a few down anyway. The idea of destroying its own territory didn't exactly sit well with the insect, but it was a necessary evil if he was going to rid the forest of these humans. Besides, the tress would most likely grow back soon enough, like they always did.
"Hot gas!"
The attack grazed the champion's hard-shelled face, after a moment the digimon giving another terrible roar. It wasn't that Babydmon's attack had hurt or anything, no no nothing like that... It had simply ticked it off even more. Kuwagamon's pincers slammed together suddenly as if it was intending to cut the little in training to pieces, however his target was too small and instead the trees suffered from his wrath. This only served to upset the bug digimon further, proving that pretty much everything seemed to irritate Kuwagamon.
Too bad it had no voice or anyone to talk out its frustrations with... Though it would probably just cut whoever it was to bits out of anger. Speaking of cutting things apart, Kuwagamon resumed its search for the humans in earnest, deciding not to care about the trees for the time being as it went to knock some away with its pincers. This was how he found Ryusuke, as he hadn't ran off like Tetsuya. The insect was glad at least one hadn't gotten away yet, pincers snapping in anticipation before going to use them on the boy.
Hopefully, help would come. played by Jinx posts so far 2 bits £100 rewards transfer to... Hayate[/blockquote]

Ugh. Boys.
Well, they were back. Commandramon had insisted they return to the digital world to check up on his Bombmon squad, but no such squad could be found. They had returned to the place where they had first met, and all the horrible memories that came with it came flooding back. There was Kotone; scared, defenseless, being faced with a group of anthropomorphic bombs and the single missile that had joined forces with her after she made promises of power and wealth. Now look where they were - standing as a team, proud in the middle of the jungle looking down upon anything weaker than themselves and actually enjoying each other's company.
What was this world coming to?
Unfortunately Kuwagamon's irritating roar had interrupted their 'looking cool' time. Naturally, Kotone and Commandramon decided to go take a look to see if anyone was in need of their help. Finally, an opportunity to appear experienced and badass as these newbs ran throughout the forest for their lives. The large bug flew past the two, creating a gale of wind to pick up Kotone's long hair and every stray leaf nearby. All she had to do was give her partner a simple command and wait to see how the events would unfold.
"Get 'em, big guy."
From behind Kuwagamon's charging form, Commandramon hopped out of the foliage he had been hiding in. His arm snapped backwards and suddenly manifested a bomb in his hands, tossing it in the direction of the giant beasts' wings. "DCD BOMB!" he called along with the pitch of the weapon, watching it glide through the air with ease. Hopefully this wouldn't be one of those times that his aim utterly failed him.
Meanwhile, Kotone had taken the task to charge forward and beneath Kuwagamon and save the blonde midget from getting decapitated. Rather heroic, if she did say so herself. Her hands went out to tug and drag the fallen Ryusuke backwards by the jacket so he'd narrowly miss Kuwagamon's pincers. Kotone had underestimated how heavy he'd be and fell backwards in the dirt... but luckily they were still alive... by a few inches. In the midst of her fear and irritation after getting herself dirty, she called out to him.
"NICE JOB PISSING OFF THE BUG, GENIUS!"
Ah Kotone. Such a charmer. Always an ace at first impressions.

He didn't mind the jungle, not at all, in fact, it was really quite beautiful. Many trees, many colours, that all gave off many different natural scents. Not to mention, he could teach a lot to any one who would listen, in the subject of Jungles, trees, and things that lived in it. Human world, and Digital World a like. No, it wasn't any of these things that was bothering the fox-like Digimon, it was the fact that his companion, Hanako Kirin, was tripping over roots and sticks, every five seconds. "Ouch." Muttered Renamon's companion yet again, as he nearly landed face first into the dirt. Renamon reached out his paw to pick the poor teenaged boy, but in an instant he was back up again, and continuing to walk as though he never fell. There was a roar overhead, making the two of them stop in their path. Hanako instantly snapped out of his spaced out moment, and looked to the direction he heard it coming. What...was....that? he thought, brown eyes narrowing, trying to see if he could see what made that beastly sound. Nothing. It was all trees, but...he could still tell that it was close enough, or within running distance at least. Dragons? Two headed lions? What could have made that noise. Whatever it was, Hanako didn't think it was happy. He looked at his digimon, Renamon for several moments " I don't like it," he told the anthro fox-like monster, clutching at the whistle around his neck. Part of him wanted to leave, yet another part of Hanako was actually pulling him in the direction of the roaring, as though he had to, HAD to see what was going on, and try to help in any was possible. Plus, the boy let go of his whistle necklace ,a sudden new excitement in his eyes, this....was an adventure right? Through the trees, Hanako started running again, hearing after him his Renamon's voice "Hana, I don't advise yo-." for some reason his digimon stopped what he was saying, why was that? Didn't he want to say what was on his mind, the distraction, unfortunately, caused Hanako, to fall flat on his face. "Ouch." ------------------ Finally the duo had arrived, and what they saw was quite the chaotic scene. Hanako's eyes scanned over it all for a brief moment, only able to examine whom was attacking whom. A gigantic bug like Digimon that Hanako recalled was a Kuwagamon. "DCD BOMB!" Hanako's brown eyes whirled around to see yet another Digimon, with more reptile-like features, attacking the gigantic bug. What was he to do? Who was the bad guy in this situation? Perhaps Renamon had already figured out the situation, he was by far more observant than he was. "Renamon!"Yes!" The yellow fox Digimon dashed forward, blue eyes locked on to the Kuwagamon. Renamon wasn't a gigantic brute like this Champion Digimon, but he certainly fast, and clever, he kept running towards the monster faster and faster, until he felt close enough, but still at a distance. With one powerful kick on the ground, the Renamon lept in the air "DIAMOND STORM!" he cried, throwing his arms foreward, releasing sharp leaves in its direction. Hanako, meanwhile, grabbed at his whistle, still unsure of who was the bad guy, (Or maybe just not paying enough attention), and put it to his lips. It was old, but it still whistled loud enough. What he was hoping to do, was distract which ever Digimon that was the enemy. His lips stumbled, making him panic when it drop, and he leaped back, as though he was already in danger, which was certainly not at all the case...yet. Again, the brown haired Digidestined grabbed his whistle and fumbled with it, trying to put it into his lips. He certainly wasn't the most agile, brave, strong, or smart person, but he did get ideas, he was certainly one to pull through with them. This meant he was gonna try to get attention on him, try to at least. Once it was again in his lips, Hanako blew on it as hard as he could. THHHRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEETTT!!!!!!!

Ryusuke was just beginning to pull himself back up to his feet when a small red and black object fell out of one of the pockets in the new pants he was wearing, identical in shape to the one that the other kid had pulled out, and it was in hesitating on whether or not to bother grabbing it that he spent what little time he'd had left. As his right arm darted out to grab the device Ryusuke was forced to squint as sunlight suddenly found him, the giant bug from before ripping away the bush cover he'd dove into with vicious ease before its head lunged forward. Unable to get up to his feet in time to run, Ryusuke did the next best thing that came to mind as the sudden rush of adrenaline surged through his body and made the events around him seem to progress at a much slower rate. Eyes wide and alert and clutching the device, Ryusuke made a rolling dive in the direction his feet had been facing, aided by the sudden presence of another person pulling him to safety from the same direction. Landing on his side next to her, Ryusuke quickly scrambled to his feet as she yelled at him and began running towards the small creature that was now tossing explosives at the insect, nimbly climbing over the debris without any loss of his considerable running speed.
"What the hell are you talking about, it attacked us for no reason at all!" Ryusuke yelled, not bothering to look back behind himself since he was fairly certain she was right behind him - she either knew enough about what she was doing to take care of herself, or was a new kind of stupid to rush in and help him like that. Either way, Ryusuke nearly tumbled when he heard a very familiar whistle, one that he could've sworn he knew from when he was younger before forcing his attention back to reaching safe ground.

KUWAGAMON the WILD DIGIMON
[/sup] "DCD BOMB!"
As if it wasn't bad enough that his prey had been yanked clear of its attack, there was now a stinging sensation in its wings as the bomb had crashed into them and exploded. The beast gave an enraged roar in response to this, trying to keep in the air despite the damage done to one of its wings. The bug was not about to back down from this fight, not when it was battling to cleanse its territory of these foul humans and the even fouler digimon that appeared to be affiliated with them. Kuwagamon could not fully grasp why these digimon were fighting him, as if it had never heard of the concept of digidestined and the like... Or maybe it had and simply didn't care.
Whatever the case there was still an angry and oversize stag beetle for the humans to deal with, perhaps not including Tetsuya if the human had indeed abandoned the area as the champion thought. A smart move indeed, but ever so irritating to the Kuwagamon who wanted nothing more than to see the human who had fled cut in two nice halves. Call it sadistic or whatever is preferred, but really the digimon simply wanted peace in its territory and the trespassers out of commission. The digimon really had no concept of cruelty or sadistic intentions, for it was a fairly simple creature if one were to really look at how its mind worked.
"DIAMOND STORM!"
Suddenly Kuwagamon found itself under fire from Hanako's Renamon, the bug letting out an earthshaking roar of... Well it's angry, that much has been made obvious already. The champion shook its head as if to dislodge any of the little crystal shards, despite the fact they had merely scraped the rough exoskeleton that made up the outside of its body. With great vigor it went to snap its terrible and guillotine-like pincers at the fox digimon, though its damaged wing seemed to be giving it some trouble with the act. Its wings buzzed faster in an effort to keep itself airborne, but ultimately it seemed that soon the beetle would be grounded.
It was not about to give up the fight though of course, despite the fact that it might be losing. Quite frankly Kuwagamon had no concept of winners and losers, there were simply those who remained once the fight was over. The champion remained confident that it would be the one who remained, no matter what happened or what attacks were thrown at it. It would defend its territory and push the interlopers out, it absolutely would not fail.

Kotone heard Ryusuke, rolling her eyes dramatically as she brought herself to stand once she saw that Kuwagamon was effectively being fought off. She was pleased to see that someone else had come to their rescue, but wasn't ready to put in all their faith in them and call off Commandramon.
Speaking of, Commandramon was most satisfied to see his attack land. This high died fast, however, when he saw that someone else decided to rob him of his glory and show up. He glanced at Renamon and gave him an acknowledging nod in response to the help even though he wasn't happy about it. Seeing that Kuwagamon was struggling, he felt his more merciful side surface. It was only fair to try and warn the thing that it had no chance against him and Renamon, "ALRIGHT, LISTEN UP! You ain't gonna make this one out alive, Kuwagamon! So just crawl on back into the hole you came out of or TALK TO THE GUN!"
After cueing himself, Commandramon aimed the rifle square between Kuwagamon's... face (since it was lacking eyes) Kotone turned to look at Commandramon, obviously not thrilled about this. Ugh. There the lizard went again. Tossing death threats and mouthing off things bigger than he was. The thing that bothered Kotone the most was that she saw this as a possibility, and the idea of her partner killing a sentient being disturbed her. To keep him from committing any kind of heinous crime, she shouted to him from across the bushes, "DAMMIT, COMMANDRAMON! IF YOU KILL THAT THING I WILL SERIOUSLY STARVE YOU FOR A WEEK, UNDERSTAND?!"
Starve him?! For protecting his human!? Dammit Kotone. Commandramon spent most of those next few moments to keep himself from shouting back, but ultimately failed when he snapped his head in her direction - dropping his guard in order to defend both himself and his stomach. "FOR WHAT?! SAVING YOUR SKIN FROM THE BIG STUPID BUG?!"
Kotone's jaw dropped as he took his eyes and aim off the bug just to protect his future meal. Was he being serious? Indignantly, she shouted back, "FOR MURDER!"
It was obvious the two didn't get along. Why would they? Spoiled starlet and grumpy soldier did not mix.
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEET
"AGH!" Kotone threw her hands up to cover her ears, looking around wide-eyed to try and find the source of the horrible whistling. Dammit, this wasn't a soccer game! Why did someone have a whistle?!

Renamon cringed at the enraged roar that had erupted from the gigantic red beetle. It seemed that if anything, the Diamond Storm attack only got the Champion more angry, rather than weaker. What on earth had upset Kuwagamon so much that he was attacking so violently? Was had agitated it so? The fox Digimon hadn't noticed anything in the jungle that seemed out of place, or strange. He glanced around the area, nodding ever so slightly to Commadramon, what ever it was, he understood one thing, they both had to protect the humans that had stumbled across Kuwagamon at such a rotten time. Even if it meant killing it, he didn't care, if it was going to try to harm a human, he believed it hardly deserved to continue on in the Digital World, far too dangerous. Suddenly it's pinchers snapped towards him, in a desperate attempt to harm him or worse. Renamon had little time to react, but he tried to jump away from the Champion, fur bristled in a panic. Becoming a victim of Kuwagamon was not an option, he would not be the one in need of help. While dodging just barely, he stumbled, hind paw not finding the correct footing, and landed, hard on his back with a thump. "Grr." he snarled, almost dazed for a moment or two, he really did hate falling down, if anything, it should be his enemies falling to the ground not him. Pushing his front paws on the ground, he forced his body off the ground, and once again stood firmly on the ground this time. The fall, was discouraging, but he ignored it, and simply glared at Kuwagamon, waiting for it to strike again. "Leave this place." Renamon tried, in hopes that the enemy had learned that they, humans and Digimon a like, were not at all easy prey for the picking. With a fierce fighter like Commandramon, and one like himself, surely it would flee soon. A familiar female voice started shouting. It must be the ally Digimon's Partner, her name, escaped him at the time, but that was unimportant. He wasn't going to start getting distracted just ye- THRREEET He gasped, and whirled around. That was Hanako's whistle! What did he think he was doing? Meanwhile, Hanako finished whistled, dropping it from his mouth, and eyes shut firmly in fright. He was certain that he had distracted at least one of the monsters and he was certain he was about to be made lunch. The Digidestined waited in fear, whole body vibrating with trembles...and still, no one came for him. One brown eye opened, and then the next, a wave of relief washed over him in an instant. Yet at the same time, it still worried him, and at last, as he opened his eyes, he realized that he was not the only human. In fact, he gasped a little, he was fairly certain he KNEW most of these humans! He ran forward a little "R-Ryusuke?"
