"Don't worry, we're not going anywhere until help arrives..."
BlackAgumon nodded in thanks to Bearmon, his eyes momentarily drifting up towards Simon before they traveled over to Latch. The boy's eyes held that distant look again from earlier, though it was more like he just had to tune everything else out and focus on keeping conscious rather than he was starting to pass out. Still the dinosaur-like digimon couldn't help giving a faint whine as he noticed his partner was starting to have even more problems keeping upright despite the support Simon offered him, causing the digimon to go and sort of grab onto Latch's legs in an attempt to keep them steady. The situation seemed worse somehow to BlackAgumon now that Mouse had gone, as it just made it seem like they were more alone now... He hadn't gotten to thank her for helping either, but that was his fault for not speaking up quick enough.
The silence between them all after what Simon's partner had said didn't entirely help either, as it just made the fact they were far away from any help for Latch sink in more. The boy in question really couldn't bring himself to focus on that at the moment though, his thoughts consumed by the fact that he needed to keep breathing and keep his eyes open no matter what. That was really all that existed to him at the moment as they stood there, blood still trickling down from the puncture marks and tears in his skin that his own partner's teeth had caused... BlackAgumon was going to feel guilty about this for quite some time. He would probably actually never forgive himself for this, he didn't even think to blame Dracmon for the vicious wound; yes the dark digimon had created the situation but he hadn't personally caused that wound.
On second thought the digimon may never forgive himself, it bothered him that much.
He had nearly killed his partner provided David got here in time, and this went against pretty much everything that being a digimon partner meant and stood for. Not only had he failed to protect his partner he had turned around and inflicted damage on Latch... His partner may have struck first but he didn't blame the boy, but the blame could in this case fall on Dracmon. This could have been just BlackAgumon's unwillingness to believe such a harsh beating would have ever taken place if not for the hypnotism, as really that strike that had knocked him from the bench had been one of few times he'd been hit. The other times had never really been harmful, if anything actually gentle by the digimon's standards; Latch was angry and violent yes, but rarely if ever was he outright cruel.
"I think we will be on our way now... I'm...I'm truly sorry for the trouble we caused. Your partner is strong, I know he'll recover well.
Bearmon's voice brought BlackAgumon out of his thoughts, seeming faintly alarmed before he realized there was a car coming towards them. The rookie immediately recognized it as David's and calmed back down immediately, nodding to her a little and trying to keep Latch steady still as Simon stepped away from him. The boy's eyes barely shifted in the other's direction before they just went back to the ground, not saying a word just like he hadn't this entire time. Unlike when Mouse left Latch really didn't feel much of anything towards the fact the younger boy was leaving, almost relieved... After all he had tried to beat him up earlier and it just seemed odd to have him there.
The reptilian digimon beside the boy watched Simon and Bearmon leave, after a moment having to help Latch back down onto his knees since he was threatening to topple over. BlackAgumon looked back to the car as it came to a stop a small distance away, looking to his partner again and sort of nudging his shoulder a little with his head. "David's here... You'll be okay." He said quietly, trying to smile a little as Latch managed to focus his eyes on him and give a very faint nod. At the quickly approaching footsteps of his partner's brother he suddenly panicked a little, given that he'd been a little pink blob when David last saw him.
Hopefully he'd know he wasn't a threat.
