Hearing her younger sibling give in, Misaka grinned as she then held a blank expression as the strange fireball rushed over towards her, hiding behind her shoulder. While she expected to be burned, instead she just felt a strange warming sensation. It didn't hurt nor bother her in the least. Though it didn't make her feel any less shocked at being so close to a creature of unknown origins. After all, all she knew so far was that they were animals from a place called, The Digital World. Not only that, but that it's location seemed to be somewhere within the computer system or likely the internet.
Either way, this two seemed to have been trying to get them back inside, which was pretty cool. Though now it seemed that after hearing Kazai's decision to turn them in, the boy had decided to just go about things on his own. But while her sister attempted to apologize, the girl was quick to revert to her old stubborn ways and simply refused to be anything but responsible.
Looking at the girl with a undecided expression, Misaka rested on hand on her hip as she watched the small flame dash off after the other creature, hugging it as it proclaimed it as it's brother. It was such a touching display, almost like something she would do when she couldn't find her own brother. Even though it was pretty easy to find him. All she had to do was go to a computer lab or the arcade. But this sight was enough set her mind on her decision of whether to say something about this to their parents or to keep it quiet. This was the moment that sealed the deal.
"What my sister means is that she's sorry for what she said.....Isn't that right Kazai?"
Lightly nudging the teen's arm with her elbow, Misaka looked down towards her and then returned to staring at the boy and his little creature companion.
"If your worried about someone saying something about this....I won't say a word. I think what you guys are trying to do is really nice. Especially since if someone caught wind of such creatures running around, it would be a bad for them. Besides...You two probably have a pretty good start right? No need to try and go it alone when you can get it all done together.....Also...Even if I wanted to so say something, I think I'd wind up looking crazy by telling a story as fantastic as that..."
Smiling as she closed her eyes, Misaka then lightly removed a loose bang from her line of sight and then began walking towards the door.
"I'll get some more snacks for you guys....and I guess I have to see what I can find for you two as well...After I clean up this mess..."
With that, the teen moved down the hall and towards the stairway so she could get to the kitchen. She would need to get a broom for the broken glass as well as a mop.

DemiMeramon poked his head out from the bag at the sound of his sister's saddened voice. He didn't like being separated from her either, but he had already realized that if he wanted this boy to get him back to the digital world, he would have to go with him, rather than staying here. Once both he and his sister found their way back to their own world though, they could be reunited, no worries there. "Don't worry, sis. We won't be separated for long," he didn't know that for sure, but he hoped at least.
At Kazai's words, Ryutaro waited. With bag in hand he stood close to the doorway, but turned around to face her in order to show he was listening. When she started out, it had almost seemed to be an apology. It began as one, yet then the girl apparently had changed her mind and decided she did want him gone, as he thought. "I don't care about the stupid rain," he hated the rain, "I'm going home. See you around or... whatever." Ryu turned away from her again and continued toward the door.
But he nearly crashed into the older girl, who was also making her way back to the door. Truthfully, he had not been paying attention to her for the most part. She didn't understand, he wasn't worried about the digimon, he had never thought that Kazai would sell them out in the first place. And this girl could tell whoever she felt like telling about the little creatures, as long as it wasn't his parents. Ryu didn't need to get into that sort of trouble over it.
He waited for Misaka to exit the room before following her out into the hallway. "Thank you for your kindness but, I won't be staying..." he passed her by and made for the stairs. "Bye...!"

Kazai watched as Ryutaro left. Her sister's attempt at getting her to apologize may have worked if only he wasn't already leaving and he would have stuck around for just a little tiny bit longer. But in any case, he was stubborn, and she was going to be stubborn too. Kazai stuck her tongue out at him and paid him no attention. She didn't even watch him leave. She didn't care to see it. She walked back to her bed and sat down upon it, her legs hanging off the front of it.
DemiMeramon however was feeling very conflicted. Being that Kazai was her partner, she was somewhat naturally drawn to protect her, though at the same time, she didn't want to leave her brother. She couldn't believe that her brother would even consider ditching her like this. Did he not care any more? It was just terrible, sick even. DemiMeramon felt shunned from multiple directions right now. This was going to be the worst day ever!
"Kazai-chan! Go apologize to him! Don't let him leave?! I want my brother! WAAAAAAAH!?" DemiMeramon cried out as she hovered in front of Kazai. Kazai however simply huffed and fell onto her back with her arms outstretched on either side.
"Forget him. Boys are stupid," Kazai spat. She certainly wasn't going to chase after Ryutaro, not even for this little partner.
"Besides, we'll figure out how to get you back to Digiworld much faster without him."

As the boy left out of the house, Misaka sighed before frowning. Her sister was truly something else when it came to dealing with people. Even after it looked like they were getting along just fine, she had somehow found a way of pushing him back. The girl even went so far as to kiss him, which while may have been a way to avoid getting in trouble, took a lot of trust in even attempting. So obviously, the girl had to have some kind of feelings towards him. But it seemed that Kazai simply was determined to continue her loner streak.
Walking back up stairs with another tray of cookies and milk, the young girl set them upon Kazai's desk as she looked towards her mess from previous before proceeding to sweep it into the dust pan she brought along with the broom and snacks. Yet as she worked, the girl spoke slowly and in a way that she hoped would get through.
"You know....Eventually you're gonna have to let someone in Kazai. No one is an island...."
After finishing her pick up of the broken glass and scattered cookies, Misaka stood back up off the ground and then looked over towards the small fireball.
"You can help yourself if you want...Um...Whats your name exactly?"

After her sister returned and came upstairs once more, Kazai was still in the very same position. She was laying on the bed, arms outstreched and wide as though she were incredibly exhausted, although that wasn't even the case. She was simply frustrated. Nothing more and nothing less. There were so many difficult things. Ryutaro was difficult. DemiMeramon was difficult. Digimon were difficult. Her sister was difficult. She didn't have a choice though. She was just going to have to put up with everything.
Kazai remained laying there, not even acknowledging her sister after she came back into the room. She could hear her sister already cleaning up and setting something down, however she wasn't going to pay her any attention, at least she wasn't going to until she said something. That would make Kazai lean her head upward and look down at her sister.
"Don't lecture me, sis," Kazai spat at her. DemiMeramon however, had already made her way back to the cookies and begun to eat them. The taste of the cookies reminded her of when she first met Kazai, even though it had just been hours ago. Kazai had fed her and treated her kindly at first. The Digimon would then stop chewing to cast a fiery smile toward Misaka.
"DemiMeramon is my name! And don't worry! I'll be Kazai-chan's friend! I am Kazai-chan's friend!" DemiMeramon would say excitedly while accidentally spitting cookie crumbs from out of her mouth. However, at this, Kazai just raised her eyebrow and sat up.
"Yeah, okay... but we're still going to send you back to the Digital World."

"Well...Maybe I wouldn't have to if you didn't do things like that. I mean, you already have mom and dad thinking you're three steps away from becoming a mad scientist...All you need is to laugh...if you still can..."
Smiling as she stood by the door, Misaka looked towards the small fireball creature as it wasted little time in going over towards the plate of snack and going for it. As she listened to it announce her name, the teen smiled as she giggled while nodding towards the monster.
"Ok DemiMeramon...I'm sure you're Kazai's best friend...."
Though as she was about to walk out with the garbage she'd gathered from the floor, she then heard Kazai comment, causing her to have a calm expression as she walked over to her bed and sat down next to her.
"Speaking of which...How exactly did you two plan on doing that?"

DemiMeramon smiled. She was now determined to become a good friend for Kazai and in particular, to help out Misaka. She liked Misaka a lot. She was already sure of that much. It was surprising, though perhaps part of that had to do with the fact that Misaka had offered her good food. No one who gave her good food could possibly be that much of an enemy, right?
Kazai on the other hand now sat up on the edge of the bed once again upon hearing the question which Misaka had posed to her. How were they going to get DemiMeramon back into the digital world. It was now, finally, that Kazai remembered something. Quickly, Kazai turned around and reached for her backpack. She clutched it with her right hand and set it gently onto her lap. She'd dig into the front pocket, where she felt a number of things, such as her calculator, a couple pencils... her cell phone... and there it was! That strange device!
"I got this weird thing..."
Kazai held it out and showed it to her sister. Kazai then stood up and made her way with the device to the desktop computer. She looked at it curiously. It was still on the search engine Ryutaro had left it on.
"Maybe if I hook it up to the computer... I can find out something about it?" Kazai thought. It made sense, but she still wasn't sure. However, suddenly, the Digivice would begin beeping heavily. With this, the computer's monitor would begin flashing rapidly on and off.
"I think we did it! The portal's opening up again!" Kazai shouted excitedly, however DemiMeramon didn't say anything. The truth was, she didn't feel like she had made friends with Kazai just yet. She wasn't ready to go back. Kazai turned back to DemiMeramon.
"This means you can go home!"

It appeared that the strange device in Kazai's hand had somehow or another opened something within the computer. Despite Kazai's excitement towards her success, Misaka simply stood behind her in shock and possibly even terror. Just what had her young sibling stumbled upon? Technology like this wasn't even thought to exist, let alone be handed out freely to kids. Yet here she was looking at what appeared to be a portal right within the monitor of a computer screen.
"Hold up! How can you be sure this is the way to bringing DemiMeramon back home?"
While Misaka wasn't sure exactly what home would look like for the small digital monster, the teen didn't want to just toss the poor creature into the vortex and hope it was the right way. But at this point, there was no way of saying what was right or wrong. Everything was so complex and it wasn't as if she knew exactly what was happening?
Yet before she could say anything else, something odd began happening within the portal as she could swear there was some kind of noise emitting from it's center. Though as she slowly leaned in over Kazai's shoulder, something blue landed directly on her face, gripping it tightly and causing her to scream. Flailing her arms from one side to the next, Misaka instantly began trying to pull the object off her face, only to feel it's hold tighten further.
"GET IT OFF ME!!! OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!"
Misaka kept screaming as she stumbled backwards before slipping on her own feet and falling onto the floor. From there, the teenager slowly opened her eyes and blinked as she saw what exactly had been grabbing her. It was a tiny creature, one with hands and feet, along with a long tail. It appeared to have two small horns in place of it's ears, as well as a tail. One sharp fang was clearly visible as the being was smiling down at her.
"That was fun! Can we play that game again!?"
"Kazai....Please get it off me......right now..."
Her breathing was heavy, though she attempted to calm herself as she wasn't sure exactly how to react here. Just when it seemed that they were going to send DemiMeramon home, this other creature comes out. Just how many of these things were jumping around the world at the moment? Was it some kind of invasion? If it was, then shouldn't DemiMeramon be dangerous? From what she'd seen, the small flame only wished to go home. So perhaps conquering the world was out of the question.
Then what is going on?

"What th-?"
Kazai looked down at her sister who was now on the ground after having been attacked by a blue-looking moster. What was that? Kazai had no idea. It was so odd. It had come from the computer, just like the Digimon had earlier, yet it didn't look like a Digimon, or rather, it didn't match Kazai's perception of what a Digimon was. Weren't Digimon little fiery red balls that flew and hovered through the air? That thing surely couldn't have been a Digimon!
However, the question here was how to get the small monster thing off of her sister. Kazai stood there, worried and scared. She wanted to remove it from her sister, however she just couldn't get herself to do it. What if it switched its target and attacked her?! Kazai didn't want to be attacked either! Kazai almost wanted to run, but... she couldn't run either. She'd feel too guilty for just leaving her sister there. So for now, she simply stood there, shaking at the knees. There was no moevement which she could make now. She didn't want to make it angrier.
"Don't worry! I'll save you!" DemiMeramon stated heroically. She then raised her hands forward, pointing them directly at the little DemiVeemon. DemiMeramon was driven to protect both, Misaka and Kazai to the very best of her ability. She loved the two of them for having fed her so very well.
"Fireball!" She cried out as she shot a small ball of fire at the DemiVeemon. Unlike the fire on her body, this ball could burn it's target, and she had sent it right for DemiVeemon's back.

The creature had been so distracted by it's need for play that it didn't even see the attack coming towards it from behind. But when the ball of fire collided into him, the blue dragon was flung off Misaka chest and landed upon its stomach beside her head. Shaking off the impact of the attack, the blue digimon looked back towards DemiMeramon with a frown. Though this frown soon shifted into that of an upset expression as it then closed it's eyes and began to cry as it sat on the floor as if it were an infant.
"Wahhhh! That really hurt!! Wahhhhh!"
Misaka was already up on her feet by the time the monster had begun to cry, looking towards her sibling before turning her attention towards the monitor. Just what had come out of that thing? First it had jumped her and now it was sitting on the floor in tears.
"I thought that was supposed to help DemiMeramon go back home Kazai...Not send out another one....."
Calmly speaking, Misaka soon returned her attention back towards the crying blue creature that stood before them. Though the more she hear his cries, the more guilty she began to feel in having freaked out. After all, the monster seemed harmless. In fact, she was reminded of a small child as she looked at him on the floor. Within moment, the older teen found herself slowly inching towards it, remain cautious as she wasn't sure if it would attack her or simply just remain where it was. Yet, she continued to muster her courage before she knelt down and examined the being.
"Um...Hey...Its ok.....You're not hurt that bad...."
The digimon held it's hands up from it's eyes, looking towards Misaka with a blank expression, face still wet with tears. Then without a moment's notice, the digimon rushed towards her bended knees and hugged them as if it were her body before resuming it's sobbing. Misaka slowly rubbed his head before looking back at Kazai with a smile and a shrug.
"I don't think hes dangerous....Maybe he was just freaked out. But...is he like you DemiMeramon? Another monster from the Digital World?"

"Yeah! That's DemiVeemon!" DemiMeramon answered to Misaka. She was actually a bit sorry that she had attacked the DemiVeemon so quickly, but at this point in time there really wasn't much that she could do about it aside from apologize. The poor DemiVeemon was a crybaby, it seemed, but crying was understandable after being attacked by a strong fire attack like the one DemiMeramon threw at him. She knew she was pretty strong after all.
"That didn't work," Kazai said disdainfully. It didn't seem that there was really much of a way that she would be able to get DemiMeramon back. The portal in the computer had apparently shut, and her digivice had stopped reacting with the computer as well. Kazai reluctantly shoved her Digivice back into her skirt pocket. At this point, there really wasn't much that she could do.
"I give up... This isn't working!" Kazai said, now making her way back to her bed. She collapsed on top of it and fell onto her back, arms outstretched and all. DemiMeramon made her way to the girl and laid her warm body down on Kazai's stomach. There was no longer anything that could be done.
"Maybe the portal is one way."

DemiVeemon and DemiMeramon. Somehow she was sensing a pattern in these names. Of course, Misaka could simply be noticing a very small detail. As of right now, the teen was still about as clueless as her sibling. Though at the moment, the two digital monsters did not appear to be dangerous. In fact, they were very intelligent and docile. This was especially the case with the blue dragon clinging to her legs as she continued to try and calm him down. It almost brought her back to the times when she had to do the same thing with Kazai. The sight was cute.
Looking towards Kazai as she flopped upon her bed in defeat, the older teen picked up the small dragon as she continued comforting him as she smiled towards her sister.
"Hey what kind of talk is that? So your idea didn't work, at least you found out that your device is capable of making portals to another world. If that's the case than maybe you can figure out a way to make it work in a way that can help DemiMeramon and this little guy get home. I know you can do it...."
Laughing lightly as she held the dragon over her shoulder as if he were a baby, the teen then looked towards the window and sighed.
"But for now...I guess we just keep doing what your doing and hide them. I wouldn't like to think what would happen if someone caught one of them. They'd probably go nuts and try all kinds of weird stuff..."
It was just a theory of course. For all she knew there might be some scientist that would treat these creatures with kindness and respect. But she wouldn't be so foolish as to think that all of them were like that. Greed was a powerful thing, even more so when you considered just how much something like this would be worth. Had she been someone other than herself, she'd have done the exact thing that Kazai had planned to do. Turning them in would make them rich and famous, but it wouldn't be right.
"Anywho....You might as well go wash up for dinner. I'll have it done in a few minutes..."
Before turning away, Misaka noticed something laying on the floor. Kneeling down to pick it up, the device looked very similar to the one that Kazai had just shown her.
"Hey Kazai....Did you happen to drop your portal thingy?"

"No... I didn't drop anything," Kazai answered to her sister's question. She held her hands crossed now and her DemiMeramon returned to her hovering position just aside Kazai. She was still going to be cautious with this DemiVeemon and make sure that it didn't get a chance to hurt Kazai. It may have looked innocent, but DemiVeemon knew that you could never be so sure when it came to Digimon these days. Plus, she had a natural tendency not to trust people who didn't feed her so quickly.
"I've got mine right here," Kazai said. She reached into her pocket once again and pulled out her digivice. She extended her right hand, face up and open palmed, to show it to her sister. It was certain. Her sister had gotten the same strange device that Kazai had. The only thing different between the two of them was the colors. Nothing else. So many weird things were happening today, but at least her sister was like her now. They both had the same problems to deal with.
"I'm getting quesy... I don't think I'm going to be hungry tonight, sis," Kazai said. She certainly wasn't going to want dinner when the two of them had so much to do. How was she supposed to be hungry when monsters were coming from every which direction out of their computers. More could come! And if these monsters were just babies, Kazai was sure that their parents would be coming to look for them eventually... and their parents were liable to be very big.
"Well, I'm hungry!" DemiMeramon exclaimed to Misaka. However, this just evoked a response of Kazai rolling her eyes.
"Whatever, you're always hungry," Kazai sneered.

Misaka looked towards her sister and then back towards the device in her hands. She wasn't sure what she could do with it, other than keep it. In any other situation, she would have given it to Kazai to help her with her research, but for some reason, it felt like it was meant for her. Had it come out along with DemiVeemon? Did that mean something?
"This day just keeps getting weirder and weirder.....But at least I got this little guy to calm down..."
Smiling as she looked down towards the creature in her arms, she could hear his soft sores next to her ear while his head rested upon her shoulder. Though as she heard Kazai say she wasn't hungry, Misaka stared at her with a concerned expression.
"Are you sure? I can get your some broth if your feeling sick?"
Yet as she was about to approach her, the teen then heard DemiMeramon state that she, on the other hand ,was hungry. To that, Kazai made a smart remark, causing her to giggle lightly into her hand.
"Ok...I'll make you a plate, and one for you too just in case..."

"Ew... Broth." Kazai was 100% sure that that wasn't what she wanted. Broth was gross, and she was a bit disgusted that her sister had even offered it to her. A bit bratty, perhaps, but Kazai felt that her sister should have known better. Kazai liked beef, pork, chicken and chocolate. Everything else was pretty much a sidedish or disgusting. Kazai was, after all, a very picky eater. She didn't even like any desserts unless they had chocolate.
"And okay, sis, but... you know I can cook too," Kazai added. It wasn't like she couldn't make something of her own if she did end up getting hungry. Kazai was more than capable of taking care of herself, or so she felt. She wasn't really the type to cook for others unless they asked, but nonetheless, if she did get hungry, she could cook for herself. She also wasn't the type to ask for others to do things for her. She would accept it when they did, but she never asked for it.
"Are you sure you're going to be okay, Kazai-chan" DemiMeramon asked her, now hovering closer to Kazai's ear. She sincerely did hope that her partner would be okay. She didn't know Kazai very well yet, nor did she know much about being sick, considering that DemiMeramon had never been sick in her entire life.
"Yes, nothing is wrong with me!" Kazai retorted impatiently.
"But you just said you were si-"
"That doesn't mean something's wrong with me!" Kazai said, stomping her foot with a strong passion. "I'm fine!"
