"You should get some sleep."Latch was pretty much already out by the time David said this, though he still heard him and gave a faint 'okay...' in reply for whatever reason. As the light was switched off he shifted a little as if to get more comfortable, even though movement caused him pain. Koromon opened his eyes to watch as best as he could in the small bit of light that came from the slightly open door, nearly advising his partner to stay still. However he knew that the boy was already asleep, having just managed shifting onto his side before he was out completely.
He only slept for a few hours despite how exhausted he had been, giving a muted and tired groan as he opened his eyes. Latch noted his body still hurt, but considerably less than before... Probably only because David had cleaned and bandaged all his wounds though. After a moment he slowly moved to sit up, taking his shirt off and just tossing it off to the side with a bit of difficulty. The shirt had been stained with his blood as well as the dirt from whenever he'd gotten knocked down, and it felt gross to be wearing it.
Without even bothering to put another one on he got up and left his room, realizing that after not eating all day he was starving. The boy didn't seem to notice that Koromon had bounced down off the bed and was following after him, though as his partner made a sort of 'uh...' noise he stopped and looked down at him with a sort of 'what?' expression. "Should you really... Be up moving around like this?" The in training asked quietly, looking up at Latch with a concerned expression. He merely stared down at the digimon a moment before shrugging, turning to continue on to the kitchen.
Koromon sighed and just hopped after his partner, realizing once again that this was exactly why he never really bothered to say things like this. Latch payed no mind to his partner as he went about getting himself some cereal, pausing a moment and looking towards David's room. He could tell that his brother was still awake, figuring it was his fault... Before he thought of something; he wasn't the only one that came home late now. After a moment he glanced over at the clock, seeing that it was about 3:34 in the morning.
Latch gave a faint snort before going back to his cereal, going and sitting on the couch after putting some milk in the bowl and fetching a spoon. He just sort of sat there a moment and glanced over at the door, as if he was expecting something... Then he just looked away and switched the television on. Nothing was on this late but he just wanted some sort of noise, flipping through the channels aimlessly with one hand while eating his cereal with the other. Koromon tried to jump up on the couch but couldn't quite make it, actually getting help from his partner after a few unsuccessful attempts; he was still feeling rather calm at the moment.

"Hoo boy..."
How to put this all delicately? 'Hey my name is Eli! So your mom married my dad and had two babies together before they got divorced because she's a crazy witch and he raised me in Australia without telling me you two existed! But he died and I've been staying in an orphanage for the past two years but they finally tracked you down without telling you! So...I guess I live with you guys now!' It's a good thing Eliya downed a few shots of vodka before she came here - how she got those shots...well, that was her secret.
Eli figured that she would only be able to manage this introduction somewhat drunk anyway. There was no way in her sober mind that she'd be able to spill her guts the way she needed to for these boys to understand exactly what she'd been doing here... but the sting of the alcohol in her system was making her a bit sick.
Her trusty sidekick Minomon had seen this as she stumbled her way up to the front of the complex, the address of their apartment scribbled on a piece of paper in her hand. She read the numbers over with a hard squint, then looked back up at the door. This was it... this was her one and only chance to make a good first impression... this was the defining moment in her life that her brothers would remember forever during their first ever meeting... this was––
"BLEGHHHGHHKKK!"
...shit.
Eli was suddenly standing in a pile of her own puke, staring down at its red color from the jello shots. She was absolutely stupefied by her luck, and to make matters worse Minomon heard her so violently vomit and had peeked out of her purse to see where that awful smell and noise was coming from. Of course, the instant he saw something red coming from her mouth - the first thing he'd do is panic.
"ELI!" he shouted, zooming out of the bag in a quick hover to meet her cheeks with his stubby hands. Giving her a little slap against the cheek to try and wake her from her zombie-like state, he was becoming a bit desperate when he say that her reaction was minimal. "¡¿ESTAS BIEN?!"
This was horrible! Eli was puking blood and no one was around to help her! He needed help and fast. Before the insectoid would allow Eli to speak and explain herself the digimon pressed his face and hands against the apartment door, slamming them hard to try and get whoever was inside's attention. "¡NECESITAMOS AYUDA!"
Eliya would have spoken and done whatever she could to stop but the moment she reached out to cover Minomon's mouth with her hand, she paused to continue vomiting on the porch. "AGHH ITS TERRIBLEGHHK!!" she screeched, having to pause while she choked on her own bile.
Minomon was simply horrified, and turned back to continue slamming on the door- finding whatever plea he could that would suit the appropriate situation. It was one of those rare moments (and possible worst times) that he spoke English.
"OH MY GOD THERE'S BLOOD EVERYWHERE!!!"

"OH MY GOD THERE'S BLOOD EVERYWHERE!!!"Latch had heard the noises of vomiting and some random words in a language he couldn't comprehend. He had heard a girl screeching in a language he did understand, Koromon having looked up at him as if urging him to go look. The boy gave a heavy sigh of irritation at the cry of blood being everywhere, instead of the alarm any normal person might feel. He very much doubted there was in fact blood everywhere, though he figured he should at least go see... Despite the fact he really wasn't feeling up for it, with how much his body still ached.
He put his cereal on the coffee table in front of him before standing up with a wince, either ignoring or just not seeing the concerned look that Koromon was giving him. Latch walked over in front of the door, hesitating in opening it and just looking back towards David's room... Why hadn't he come out or anything? The boy figured that his brother somehow simply couldn't hear the racket going on outside their apartment, or he really just didn't give a damn what was going on. He mumbled under his breath crossly for whatever reason, not really wanting to even look outside anymore.
However he made the mistake of glancing over at Koromon, groaning in light irritation at the look. "Why do you care so much about me looking out there?" Latch questioned, though the way he asked made it seem like he could really care less about the answer. "It sounds like someone's dying outside your door and you don't want to look at all?" The little digimon shot back, staring up at his partner still. The boy sighed, realizing the in training had a point kind of... He didn't want anyone dying, especially not right outside his door.
Even so he still appeared to stall in opening the door, his eyes going to his cereal a moment... It'd probably be all soggy and gross by the time he got back to it. It didn't matter he supposed, since there was more if he really couldn't stand to eat it after all of... Whatever this was going to be was over. Latch was finding that he really didn't want to look outside now, glancing back towards David's room and wishing he had just come out to deal with it... At least David didn't look beat to hell. Koromon seemed to be silently urging him on though, and he eventually got himself to put his hand on the knob and open the door.
...what the...
Latch stared down at the girl who was standing outside, noticing the vomit and looking at it in clear disdain and disgust. He had no real idea what to say or anything, looking Eli over and then Minomon before simply turning his head to give Koromon a sort of dirty look... As if blaming him for the fact the space in front of the door was now covered in red throw up. He gave a heavy sigh and shook his head, not even questioning the girl's presence or the digimon's yet as he turned his head to look back towards David's room. "David, there's some chick puking all over in front of our door!" He called back to his brother, hoping he would hear.
Probably not the first impression Eliya had been hoping for.

"David, there's some chick puking all over in front of our door!"
...What? Just his luck... David had nearly almost drifted off to sleep when his brother called out to him. Albeit, he was sitting hunched over at his desk, but it was better than absolutely no sleep at all. And he still had to get up in a few hours and go to work.
"What'd he say?" David murmured with a groggy voice, wiping at one of his eyes as he sat up in his chair. Erh... his muscles felt stiff by the way he'd been sitting, stretching a little to loosen them up as he glanced at the clock. He could barely comprehend the time however before Gigimon came and jumped into his lap, his attention going down to the in-training as he sat there. "Latch says there's a girl puking outside our door!"
Why... why was that something they should even be concerned with? Maybe it was the fact that he was still half-sleep that was making him irritable, but it wasn't his problem if the neighbors decided to stumble home at three in the morning wasted as hell. Groaning in irritation, he rested his forehead against the desk once more-
"WELL, TELL HER TO GO HOME!"
He didn't want to bother getting up, too tired and nerve-shot from his small conflict with Latch earlier to concern himself with anything else. Shutting his eyes, he was completely content with blocking it all out, exhaling slowly as he felt a bit of ease at this. Maybe he'd actually get some sleep after all...
"HEY! That's not nice, what if she needs one of those medicine cars?!"
Oh...yeah. Gigimon. David wasn't sure how he had even forgotten about his little bundle of energy and constant pestering, since...well...it was hard to forget something that was always in your face. By now he knew the little lizard-like digimon probably wouldn't let him be until he got up and went into the other room, a fact that made him sigh and sit up once again. After a quick glance at Gigimon, he went and plucked the in-training off his lap, getting up from his chair and placing his partner onto his shoulder.
Gigimon wiggled a little and struggled to keep a grip on David's shoulder as he headed out of his room and into the living room, in the end using his tail as an anchor of sorts as he wrapped it around the back of David's neck some. With ear's perked, the first thing Gigimon even noticed was Minomon, blinking and prodding the side of David'd head with one of his feet. "Hey! Hey! David, she has a digimon! She has one!"
Apparently Gigimon was over whatever small grudge he'd had against Latch earlier, as he looked over at his partner's brother and smiled happily, actually glad to see he was well enough to stand and move around already. David on the other hand, wasn't entirely happy about his brother's decision to get up so soon, shaking his head as he went and took the door in his hand, opening it a bit more and peeping out to see Eliya.
Tired and out of it, he wasn't even about to connect to the fact this was his sister, the memory alone that he even had one faint and nearly nonexistent. All he saw was some drunken teenager spewing her guts out in front of his house. Great.
"Uh...fuck... Are you alright?" The question was nearly forced through gritted teeth as he realized that he really didn't have the energy to fake being nice at the moment. Not when he was this tired. "Do you need a phone or something?" David asked, having to guess she wasn't from this apartment complex. He was sure he knew most of their neighbors and she definitely wasn't one of them. He had to wonder why she was here...
and why...
Wait.
Gigimon's words finally caught up with him and he blinked, staring at Minomon a moment as he realized the little bug-thing wasn't some stuffed animal but instead a digimon. He didn't say anything, just staring blankly as his mind worked hard to wake up still.

Utterly exhausted and shaken from literally spilling her guts on the floor, Eli was about ready to stand up and run the hell away from this horrible scene. Too bad it was only moments after Minomon called for help that... that ... person... that boy... who she was gazing up at now with wide, adoring eyes from her spot on the ground covered in her own vomit had stepped into her line of vision. Could...this be....? One of her brothers?
Her teeth grit shut as she stared up at him, feeling tears slowly well in her eyes. It was like looking in a mirror! Granted... a less-attractive male version of herself... but she knew in her heart that this had to be one of them! Minomon had begun hovering in front of Eliya again, waving his little stubby hands in front of her face. Why had she been crying?! Did it hurt that bad? "Eli...? Eli...Moshi-Moshi?" The trance utterly confused Minomon as he turned his head to look at the boy who had been standing in the doorway - as if scrutinizing him.
"David, there some chick puking all over in front of our door!"
David?!
"O-Oh moye god!" Eli blurted as she struggled to stand up, brushing herself off for only a moment and staring at Latch in utter shock. This was her brother! He must have been Latch! ...Or maybe just a friend of David's but... well he looked so much like her and what would a friend of David's been doing here at 3 am!? "I-It's you! It's reallay, reallay you!" she stammered drunkly, even though she probably would have reacted the exact same way in any other situation. Honestly, the shock sobered her up quite considerably.
Then who must have been 'David' stepped out, and she felt herself only becoming that much more emotional. She knew he had been older than he did when their parents separated but... he hadn't recognized her. Probably not all grown up like this.
"Xin chào, Xin chào! The bug chirped happily, floating up to Latch and butting him gently with his pincers. He then went to Koromon, Gigimon, and David doing the same thing, giving little kisses in greeting much like one from Spain would. "M-m-moy name is... Eliya... El-Eliya Wintahs..." She began, cuffing her hands over her heart as it felt like it was about to beat out of her chest. Her entire body shook with fear... hoping that they wouldn't think that this was just drunken dribble. "I-I'm...F-from Ostralia.. M-moy fahtha was yo-yours, too!" she pointed at Latch, eyes wide and then switched over to David. "N-N Riv Portah is our motha!...Oi..Oi.."
She was suddenly overwhelmed with emotion as she threw her arm up to furiously wipe away her tears. "Oh god oi shoulda known not ta drink before this..ah..oi'm not usuallay loike this oi promise it's just...aa..waaaaaaah!" The girl began to sob uncontrollably, hating herself that the time she finally met her brothers it would be like this. "Oi was just so nervous, hah! Oi...W..waaahh..."
Minomon was watching his partner a bit sadly and started patting at her shoulder with his stubby hand. He never thought he'd see her so emotional... his poor little girl.
Suddenly Eli's hands dropped from her face as she bit her lip extremely hard, spilling the marbles then and there from excitement, horror, and embarrassment.
"OI'M YER SISTA!"

"WELL, TELL HER TO GO HOME!"Well he should have expected such a response really, considering the time and that unlike him David had a job to get to in the morning. Even with knowing this Latch gave a little irritated huff, assuming that he would be left to deal with... Whatever this was all by himself. It wasn't really like he had anything better to do or something like that, it was just that the fact he had to deal with some drunk girl's vomit at nearly 4 in the morning was a real pain in the ass. That and the fact that his body still hurt from everything it had been though today, though it wasn't like he'd ever admit to this; the pain was just getting a little annoying was all.
It was at this point though that he finally realized that the girl was staring up at him... And... Wait, what she crying? What the hell, did telling someone she was throwing up everywhere really warrant crying? Or... Maybe she actually was vomiting blood and she was hurt somewhere... No, no she didn't look like someone who was experiencing internal bleeding really. At this Latch calmed back down again, feeling stupid for even feeling slightly riled up or alarmed... Yes alarmed, it wasn't like he wanted her to die or anything."O-Oh moye god!"...That definitely wasn't a local accent, the sound of it making Latch blink in surprise and look at Eli confusedly. What was she freaking out about, the fact that he looked so blatantly beat up? That would explain the shock on her face he supposed, though Latch honestly didn't think he looked that bad... He'd been hurt far worse before after all. He had no idea the girl he was looking at was related to him, his mind not even taking such a thing into consideration with how odd the current situation was to start off with."I-It's you! It's reallay, reallay you!""...Huh?"
The boy didn't understand what on earth Eliya was talking about, shooting Koromon a look of confusion as if the little pink digimon knew the answer. Instead the in-training just gave his partner a similar look, to show that he didn't know what was going on at the moment either. Latch looked to his brother as David came forward, stepping aside a bit with a faint wince... He really shouldn't be up moving yet. He wasn't about to go and sit down or anything yet though, just looking back to the girl and finally truly acknowledging Minomon's presence... Er, he was pretty much forced to as it spoke again in a language he didn't understand.
Latch just barely refrained from jerking back as the little bug went about greeting them, however Koromon accepted it; to him, it just seemed like he had another friend now. The boy watched as Minomon moved down the line, still not understanding what in the seven hells was going on. He had to guess that an explanation was coming though, as the girl seemed like she knew them somehow... He still couldn't see how though. No, he still hadn't put anything together or thought she looked familiar; he had been so young when they were around each other last, he didn't remember her at all.
So what came next was quite a shock."M-m-moy name is... Eliya... El-Eliya Wintahs..." "I-I'm...F-from Ostralia.. M-moy fahtha was yo-yours, too!"Latch almost instinctively leaned back a touch as he was pointed at, looking rather perplexed at the moment. The boy didn't even remember having a father, let alone a sister so this all seemed very odd to him. He watched as Eli's finger pointed to David, his gaze leaving the girl to go to his brother a moment. He wondered something... Did David remember having a sister at all?; he was older after all, there was more of chance if this was even all true.
His eyes were forced back to the girl as she started to, of all things, sob uncontrollably. Latch heard Koromon giving a little whimper, though the boy was still more focused on trying to figure all of this out. So he and Eli shared the same father and they all had the same mother, but she was Australian and... Oh god it was way too late to go and trace his family tree or whatever it was he was trying to do. He didn't really see any reason to try thinking about it more, when all they really needed to get out of this whole thing was-"OI'M YER SISTA!"...Yeah that, that was all they needed to know.
Latch seemed almost awkward at this, a behavior he rarely exhibited since he just seemed pissed off at everything usually. He looked off to the side a little, part of him wishing he wasn't all beat up at the moment... And shirtless, that sort of mattered too suddenly. Wait no it didn't, he didn't care... Should he even care whether or not a blood relative was seeing him shirtless? ...Why the hell was he even thinking about this?!
He gave a little cough for whatever reason, looking Eliya over a little as if trying to figure something out. Now that it related to the current topic he started to see the resemblance, glancing over at David after a moment as if he needed to in order to finish adding everything up. Latch opened his mouth to speak, then seemed to think better of it, closing it again and giving a faint shake of his head as if to drive a thought away. The boy simply didn't know what to say, seeming like he was waiting for his brother to speak instead.

David found himself looking over Eliya as he stood there in the doorway, for whatever reason... finding she seemed familiar somehow. Did he know her? He was almost positive he didn't, though part of him was almost dreading some horrible idea of who she could possibly be. After all, he'd done his fair share of trouble making throughout the years - him forgetting some random girl didn't exactly seem like something that could be impossible. This wasn't really something he wasn't to think about though, reassuring himself this was just some random person with no connections to him or his brother whatsoever.
...Well, that was until she introduced herself.
David was almost too busy shooing Minomon out of his face to hear Eliya, though once he picked up what she was saying he froze a little. Wait... what? Blinking in a sort of stunned confusion, he stared at the girl a moment... part of him wondering if she was playing some kind of joke or something. But then, how would she know either of their names? Not to mention their mother's... no, this would definitely be a stupid joke to play on someone. However, despite however authentic it was meant to be, David found himself in disbelief.
"You're...?" David's voice trailed off some as he found himself examining the girl quietly, part of him feeling sort of sick for whatever he'd been thinking a few moments ago, just kind of washing his thoughts of it. Well... this would explain why she looked familiar. Before David could bring himself to give any kind of formal respond Gigimon pawed at the side of his head, tail swaying so much he nearly lost balance off his shoulder and fell to the ground.
"David, I didn't know you had a sister!" Gigimon was definitely excited, seeming to miss the point that David didn't even know he had a sister. Or... actually the more he thought about it, the more he realized he did know. However, he never actually expected to meet her, let alone have her show up at his doorstep drunk and puking all over the place. The boy had been old enough to remember Eliya existing, but not to the point where she became any kind of occasional thought to him. As a matter of fact, he sometimes forgot he even had a sister... most likely why he never came to mention it to anyone. Not even Latch.
"Uh... yeah, I forgot." Still somewhat stunned, David spoke as this was an everyday thing; like he had forgotten in the same way someone would forget to buy milk when they went to the grocery store. However, this sure as hell wasn't a casual thing, part of him wondering why he was acting so calmly in response. Moving to the side, he went and opened up the door some, as if offering to let Eliya inside.
Their apartment probably looked like a bomb went off inside, but he didn't even think about it, just looking from Eliya to Minomon and back again; still trying to put this together in his half-conscious state.

SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED!
Woah. Looks like you two had a crazy nightmare about having an Australian sister! That makes no sense! Thank goodness it was just a dream...
