As Renamon began asking him even more questions Hopmon accordingly became even more flustered - how was he supposed to know what information was safe to impart and what wasn't? For that matter, why did he even feel that way to begin with? He could understand where Ryusuke was coming from - he wouldn't have liked being shoved into a situation without being consulted beforehand - but that was simply how it was, and the confusion he felt clearly showed through his face. He didn't know how he knew, but Hopmon sensed that bad things would happen if he and Ryusuke were seperated, although he was at a loss of how to properly explain it to them. He knew it had something to do with the digidestined of years and years ago, but the connection ended there in his mind. The only other information that immediately came to mind was the feeling that he and Ryusuke had been meant to meet for a long time prior to that afternoon, and while that was enough for him it obviously wouldn't be enough for the other two, something that was proven by Ryusuke subtly moving to the side again, Hopmon almost not noticing in time to move between him and his objective.
Ryusuke, however, was beginning to tire of the game, and had he not so recently dislodged Hopmon from himself with great difficulty and assistance he would have been extremely tempted to simply make a break for it. His longcoat would've provided an easy way to prevent Hopmon from reattaching himself to one of Ryusuke's limbs, especially since he didn't feel any particular attachment to it, but there was always the slightest chance of Hopmon finding a way through. He was appreciative of the other digimon's attempts to reason with Hopmon on his behalf, with her even going so far as to attempt to intimidate the purple digimon, although to no avail. Hopmon defiantly remained in place, calling her bluff while he and Ryusuke simply continued to stare each other down.

DIATRYMON the WILD DIGIMON
[/sup][/center] "KNOCK. THAT. OFF!!"
Diatrymon considered herself such a loving and patient digimon -- so when she heard several teeny tiny voices interrupting her sleep she decided to give them the benefit of the doubt in hopes that they'd venture off before getting on her nerves. Well, that was what she was thinking about five minutes ago anyway... now she was rather awake and not happy to put it gently. The ancient bird-type digimon hauled herself up from the ball she'd curled up into in hopes of getting a good long night of rest... finding herself crashing through the trees and toward the source of the noise before she could even think over what she was doing.
"You noisy, inconsiderate little bugs! Do you think you're the only ones in this whole forest?!" Diatrymon was practically seething with anger as she came to bring herself before the other three, flightless wings batting chaotically and taking out a few tree branches in their wake. One of her feet came down with a loud THUMP as she stepped closer to them, uninterested in any excuses they had as she let out a thunderous and bird-like screech... most likely the kind of sound that would still be ringing in your ears days later.
"Get out! Get out! GET OUT!!"
The bird screeched again, though a bit lower this time as her other foot come down to nearly crush the television on the ground there. She was hoping to intimidate them and get them out of here before she lost her tempter any further... though given how incredibly pissed off she was there was no promising she wouldn't let them off with only a warning. Diatrymon hated anyone interrupting her sleep and these annoying creatures would pay for that. She might have just right off attacked them, but no... Diatrymon considered herself far too nice for that! How lucky these little guys were that she came along and not some big bad monster that wanted to eat them up. Hell, she was practically doing them a favor!

Thump... thump... thump... Crash... Screech... The sounds of branches being broken and leaves thorn... A roar. Something coming at great speed... Closer... Closer... Angry... Very angry. A dark silhouette... Tall, big... monstrous... Emerging... Coming in the light... THERE IT IS!
- ... Jesus Christmon...
To say that the renamon was scared shitless would be a huge underestimation. She was simply terrified, petrified with fear when out of the woods emerged ... something. Big, scary something... She never saw such digimon before, and now looking at it, she wished she still didn't. Suddenly she felt so tiny weak and insignificant under that flaming stare the monster was giving them...
She forgot everything, the boy, the tv, the fact she wanted to ... you know, take the hopmon away from there to let the boy pass... Not that it really mattered anymore, at least to her... The monster was just too close to the tv - set and did not look in the mood to bargain, or listen, or accept apologies... She swallowed. This smelled of ... death. Horrible and sudden one... The screeches of the bird were not recorded as words, only as dreadful roars in her head. Paralyzed by fear... not even able to move... This was bad and would quickly turn worse... Unless...
Suddenly the frightened gaze of the renamon became more focused and resolute, her giving the bird a second glance, which was more ... measuring, judging, than afraid. But still, cautious. They couldn't fight this one - her a human, and a tiny hopmon, the two others being useless. Wait ... was this actually combat analysis in her head? Maybe, maybe... Still... Something had to be done... and fast. Tapping on the boy's shoulder, she said:
- Run ... we should. Fast.
And she would make a run for it... When the boy would. The fox wouldn't be the one to leave the two behind...

As the giant bird emerged from the trees behind Hopmon, drawing Ryusuke's attention and forcing him to mometarily cover his ears as it screeched, the teen found it strange to not that while he found himself appropriately afraid, he wasn't all that surprised by the new arrival, or her appearance - having already been sucked into a vending machine and chased by a giant insect only hours earlier before getting sucked through the laptop in his room, he found it oddly appropriate and was thus not surprised by it. What did catch his attention, though, was the fact that the thing was talking, and actually addressing them specifically - so far he'd only seen the small ones, or roughly human sized ones, capable of doing so, and they al - no, scratch that, not all of them as the purple blob in front of him had proven - most of the ones who could talk were also capable of reasoning.
It was only a moment later that the location of the television set that he'd arrived through came back into mind, and Ryusuke almost panicked before he saw that it was still intact, if admittedly closer than he would have liked to the bird monster's foot. While he normally would have agreed with the fox creature's advice to simply run like hell, that screen was the only way home he knew of, and he was not going to risk leaving it there. It scared him out of him mind, but staying there was the best course of action for the moment, at least in his mind - it was apt to change at a moment's notice, but the fact that the bird had opened dialog between them gave Ryusuke some cause for hope.
"A-alright, we don't want any trouble. I just came here to drop off the little guy in front of me since he followed me back home, and he decided to be difficult. All I need to do is walk past him, right over to that little box at your feet, and I'll be gone and on my way, and you'll never see me again. Sound good?" Ryusuke said, hands raised halfway in front of his body in a calming manner and speaking slowly and deliberately in an attempt to both steady his own voice and impart exactly what he had said - he didn't want trouble of any sort, but considering his recent luck that was probably what he was going to get anyways. Standing his ground while every ounce of common sense in his head was screaming at him to run, a small, nervous smile etched its way onto Ryusuke's face after a few moments.
Hopmon, however, ignored the giant bird, oblivious as ever while he kept his gaze locked on Ryusuke, determined not to let him past.

DIATRYMON the WILD DIGIMON
[/sup][/center] Diatrymon ceased her screeching just long enough to catch the end of Ryusuke's attempt at reasoning, the bird's head cocking to the side to get a better look at the boy. What? ...What?! Why was he speaking with her like she was some kind of crazy monster out to do them in? And here she was trying to help them. Diatrymon didn't like this, not at all...!!
"ARH! I can't...I can't believe this! This is the last time... the last time I'll say it! GET OUT!" Diatrymon's voice came out in a such a high pitched shout that the leaves on the trees almost seemed to vibrate in irritation. Her patience was undoubtedly slipping, metallic feather's practically standing on end as she continued to flail her wings in anger. The champion wasn't looking to make any kind of deal with anyone, she just wanted these pesky little munchkins out of her sight!
Diatrymon stepped forward, snapping her jaws with a loud clacking sound as she did... as if threatening to use them on the three if they didn't get out of there. Why wouldn't they run already? All she had wanted was to sleep! Was that so much to ask?! Apparently it was and she would make sure to return the favor. If they turned and fled now, she would give chase until they begged for rest as well.
As a matter of fact, she would make sure of it.
Before any of them could make a move, she swung her head down and snapped her beak at them with yet another loud clack... the action aimed particularly at Renamon as she found the digimon more of a threat at the moment. The bird had no intentions on hurting any of them as long as it was unnecessary though, still aiming to simply scare them out of their damn skin. If she was lucky, they wouldn't come back and would definitely think twice about stepping foot in this forest again! played by Minion posts so far 2 bits £100 rewards transfer to... The renamon tensed, flinching as the snapping beak came at her, but stood her ground regardless. Was she afraid? Pretty much already. But the human... the human was being so stupid! She told them t leave once, didn't she? Why did he insist? Stupid boy! They could have left and came here later, not to angry the armored oversized chicken... But no, he thought he could talk his way out of this, didn't he? Yeah right, watch that fail miserably.
- Ryusuke... Wise ... lady of ... forest... Angry. Wrong... we did. Leave now... Irritate ... not. C'mon... - the fox said, grabbing the boy by the shoulders in an attempt to drag him away, if there was any point to this and he wouldn't leave voluntarily. Why was she exposing herself to this? She should have been long gone! Or curled up on the floor in devastating fear... But ... who said she was herself right now?
Looking up at the angry bird who just did all he could to look more terrifying, and doing a remarkable job at that, the fox flinched again, a shiver going through her body, the boy would have felt it too. The fearsome creature was just too terrifying to stand so close to ... that steel beak and those metal claws would have torn her aside... And if her speech pattern wasn't irregular enough before...
- For ... ff... forgiveness... we ask... Apologies... muchly... No malice... No ill intent... Ignorance. We leave... Leave quickly... Leave now... Again... see us, you won't... - the fox tried to offer some sort of a broken apology, her tongue refusing to work properly, and gave a slight jab to the boy she was trying to drag off. Uh... just move already!

Shoulders flinching again as the bird screeched at Ryusuke's words, the meager attempt to reason his way out of the situation clearly failing and leaving Ryusuke at a loss. In all truth, he had no idea how to even begin to handle the situation. While he had no desire to get into a conflict with the bird, given that it was both much more intelligent as the insect as well as the fact that it had been at least reasonable enough to open dialog rather than simply attacking, it wasn't a simple matter of agreeing to go away. Leaving that place would mean leaving that television set near the bird's feet behind, and as far as he knew it was the only way home - while there were clearly other such moniters scattered about this world as evidenced by the one he'd used to return to his world the first time, he had no idea how far they were scattered apart from each other. Hell, he didn't even know where he'd start looking for another one - as it was, he would never had expected to find one in either of the places the last two and this one was. If he left now he would be trapped in this world for who knew how long, and that prospect terrified Ryusuke, with that fear outweighing what fear the bird instilled in him and allowing him to keep a somewhat clear mind, even if it was deadlocked between two choices. As the fox grabbed at his shoulders and began tugging Ryusuke took a half step back to prevent himself from falling over, clenching his hands into fists of frustration without thinking.
"It's not that simple. I can't stay here, and whoever that is is standing in the way of me going home. I have friends and family there, I came here to tie up loose ends so I could go back to a normal life, and if we leave this clearing there's no guarantee I'll get back home. I'm not leaving." Ryusuke said quietly to Renamon, lowering his voice so that the bird wouldn't hear him as he glared down at Hopmon, the little digimon staring right back. After a moment an idea popped into Ryusuke's head - just as unlikely to work as the first one, but still the only one that came to mind. Nearly turning tail to run out of instinct as the bird made a pecking motion towards Renamon, Ryusuke himself ducking instead, the teen held his ground as he reached down and pulled the black and red device he'd obtained during his first foray into the digital world and holding it up in plain sight of the bird.
"I'm not entirely sure what it is, but the little guy in front of me called it a 'digivice'. It's how I got here, and how I'll leave here if you'd just let walk up to that screen on your feet." Ryusuke said, still ready to run at the first sign of the other creature losing patience. Hopefully the bird would recognize what the thing was - every other creature he'd met seemed to be familiar with the things except for the fox, but then again she seemed to have a few brain problems, amnesia possibly among them, but it had still managed to draw her attention. With any luck the bird creature would understand, and allow them to simply go their own ways without it spiralling any further out of control. Fat chance, but still worth it.

DIATRYMON the WILD DIGIMON
[/sup][/center] Believe it or not, Diatrymon actually stopped her blind rampage at Renamon's apology, feathers lying flat a moment as she gave a loud snort. That's exactly what she wanted to hear... an apology for these bugs' unbelievable behavior. It was insufferable to think she would accept anything else, waiting for the three to leave as she decided to give them a chance.
. . .
Well, why weren't they leaving?!
The feathers along Diatrymon's neck stood up as Ryusuke spoke to her, head tilting to the side with a small cluck as she listened. It was a surprise to even her that she let the human finish, taking a deep inhale before opening her mouth to give a loud chirp of disapproval. What did it matter to her what he wanted? He had no respect for what she wanted, so why should she go out of her way to help him? This was the way Diatrymon's mind worked, patients nearly on the verge of giving way to rage the longer she had to deal with these creatures.
"I have a better idea," she spoke, her voice deceivingly calm despite herself, "choose the television at my feet or your life. I've about had it with you!" Diatrymon gave a sort of bird-like hiss at this, not trying to sound dramatic as she was incredibly serious. Whatever calm she'd managed to dredge up while speaking, it seemed to be gone now, the digimon's eyes narrowing on the three as she spoke one last time-
"Make your decision in five seconds or it'll be made for you!"
. . . one . . .
The bird gave them little time to absorb her words before deciding they would most likely fail to do anything... eyes already locked on them as if she were about to give chase. There would be no persuading her otherwise at this point, not that it was really an option to begin with. Yes, she was coherent and able to reason with, but that didn't alter the fact that she was practically shaking with anger. Diatrymon really hated being disturbed from her rest... really, really hated it.

The enthusiasm of having her apologies hit the right spot and calm the fearsome bird a little bit went to null when the human boy just stayed there, like a complete moron, and tried to blubber something, hoping that it would be enough to convince the bird digimon to let him go. Yeah right, FAT CHANCE. The only thing he succeeded in was driving her more angry. And he was driving the renamon angry too with his stubbornness.
- Brainless ... human. Not leave ... if ... with ... you ... endanger me... too. Aside. - she sounded quite irritated as she brushed by him, nudging the boy painfully at a side as she went, towards that little twerp that started it all, Hopmon. Selfish arrogant little brick. God, the renamon was soon to be wheezing with anger herself... Where did all this come from? She was just so benign and patient a few moments later... Well, even nice ones can get pissed.
- Come ... with me... If you ... want to live. - she hissed at the annoying in-training, attempting to just pick him up and run off - and she had to do it quick too - the bird started her countdown already. And in an attempt to win a few more seconds, she muttered apologies:
- Sorry ... sorry sorry... Stupid people... listen me... not.

Ryusuke had actually begun to relax for a moment as the bird seemed to listen to him, only for that hope to be instantly dashed through a moment later when the thing gave him its ultimatum. Ryusuke himself was starting to get angry now, his frustration overriding his fear, but not to the point of clouding his reason. Why did this have to be so difficult? The thing had merely walked into the clearing and given them two options, without explaining why it was doing so or what gave it the right - sure, it was bigger and probably stronger, but being bigger never gave someone the right to do whatever they wanted. As far as Ryusuke was concerned, this thing wasn't any better than the filth he dealt with as a kid. The difference, though, was that it wasn't human, either, nor did he know how far it was truely willing to go - for all he knew, the thing was perfectly serious about carrying through on its threat, and this wasn't like last time with the insect. It would only be Ryusuke against the bird if he decided to push the issue, and even if the little purple blob decided to help, there wasn't any way they would be able to hold the thing off long enough for Ryusuke to make it to the television and through it to his world.
To sum things up, Ryusuke couldn't take the chance of staying there and calling the bird's bluff, assuming it even was one. Clenching the gloved prosthetic hand with the digivice in it, Ryusuke restrined himself from squeezing any harder lest he break it by accident and destroy his ticket home. As Renamon walked forward and picked up Hopmon, who was too focused on Ryusuke to notice and began struggling in vain a moment later, the human shook for a moment in frustration, glaring up at the creature's head before turning and beginning to walk away, furious with himself for a number of different reasons. This wasn't over, not by a long shot. While he'd continue to search for other ways out, he wouldn't forget this place, nor how to get back to it - if he ever found a way to deal with the bird short of causing harm to the thing, he'd go back and make another attempt.

DIATRYMON the WILD DIGIMON
[/sup][/center] It was a good thing the three had decided to vamoose before she had counted to five, the only thing keeping her from going forward and teaching them a lesson being the fact that she really was too tired for this. FINALLY! Now she could sleep, given some other annoying creature didn't come along and screw around while she was trying to rest. Oh, how sorry she felt for anything that came along after this... if her patients were short now, they would be completely nonexistent than.
"Smart stupid bugs! Don't you dare come back!" Diatrymon spoke to them as they left with a loud huff, feathers still standing on end as her irritation lingered with the frustration of the situation. Rather than turn and leave right then and there, she felt the need to keep an eye on them for a short moment... just to ensure that they wouldn't be turning to come back.
The giant bird's head bobbed back and forth as she walked after the three, not to give chase or harm them, but rather to be sure they were actually leaving. The distance she kept between herself and them seemed to widen with each thunderous footstep she took, wings folded up at her sides now that she was too tired to be waving them about in anger. Diatrymon found her clawed wings actually ached slightly from banging up against all those tree branches, somewhat frustrated for letting herself get so worked up.
Only once the others were out of sight did she stop, cocking her head from side to side to look at the path ahead of her and make sure no one was there. With a content sigh, she turned back to the place they'd met, walking slowly until she came to the small campfire and television. The bird found herself irritated with the mere sight of these things, exhaling with a deep sounding chirp.
She needed to be sure they wouldn't return to this place and interrupt her sleep again, feathers flattening some as she gave a kind of hissing sound and lowered her head down, suddenly taking the television between her jaws and ripping it out from the floor. With little effort, her beak snapped together, an electronic zap and then the sound of metal snapping filling the air a short moment as she destroyed the television.
Throwing the useless mess of metal and wires aside, she felt everything was in place for her to finally get some rest... ducking her head down as she headed back to her nest. If they came back after this... well, she hoped for their sakes they wouldn't. played by Minion posts so far 4 bits £200 rewards transfer to... Pipismon[/blockquote]
