The village of beginnings ... nobody really understand how or why this place has the special properties it has. This is the only place where new digimon are born, where the dead are recycled to create a new life from their remains. A symbol of life and death, that's what this place is ...
Alraumon had been relaxing for a while in this area. There was a certain feeling of overwhelming peace in the air, almost as if the mere act of being here eased any pain. However, she couldn't stay idle for longer, she had a mission to complete, and still hadn't done something she also came to do in this place.
"Jureimon, Igamon, everybody ... I wonder if any of you is still here?"
She knew that there was no point in looking for dead people within the new life emerging in this place; but the strong emotions attached to her memories of her departed friends strongly pushed her to at least make sure those babies born from the discarded remains of her deceased friends managed to reach were sound and safe.
And so, once more the plant digimon wandered around the area, looking for anything that told her those special words, that her friends successfully granted new life to this place. She was afraid of the consequences of data absorption. The wicked, evil, unredeemable monster of Renamon had killed so many of her friends and absorbed their data that she wasn't sure if there was enough of it to create a new digitama/digiegg.
With nostalgia and a strange mix of peacefulness and sadness in her heart, she quietly walked from place to place. The alraumon wondered how many of the newborn babies were naturally born from accumulation of data in the digital world ... and how many of them were the recycled data of digimon brutally and mercilessly murdered in cold blood, victims of the survival of the fittest law so many digimon follow.

The village of the beginnings was, indeed, a place spurring with activity. A big kindergarten, it was, life flourished here, it was where most digimon were brought up, raised, and then released to brave the world. It was a place many began their path from, many held sweet memories of their childhood connected to this place... First friends, first teachers... First everything! Everyone, even the ones whose heart was encased in stone cherished memories of this place.
Which was why a certain fox digimon was here. This was what she was told. And why she was so very much out of place here. She hoped that here someone will surely recognize her. But alas, no luck on her part. No one remembered her, and ... well, she didn't remember herself being here also. Nothing spurred her memory, nothing sparkled it...
She came to caretakers, asked people who she met... But the answer was one and the same - they didn't record life of digimons that left the place, and there was too many viximons to remember every single one. As harsh and disheartening as it was ... she understood. But still, sticked around for a little more...
The place like this always needed hands - to ever expand, build, and repair. She found herself useful for a little while, helping out at the construction of a new house - her hands were strong, and she was used to carry heavy stuff around, stuff other, smaller digimon can't lift. She also knew her way with nails and hammer...
At the moment, she was on the roof, nailing some plank to another, and doing whatever she was asked to - she was agile, an acrobat even, so she was not so much afraid of falling off. However, the things she carried often fell off. like that hammer she always dropped at wrong times... She often was thinking about her past, or lack of it, at work... Like right about now...
*YANK!* - the sound of the hammer dropping and hitting the ground a foot away from a random passing alraumon was heard. Renee sighed out in relief - thank god it didn't land on the head or anything or someone would have been in for a nasty bump. Still, she had to retrieve it, didn't she? Gracefully jumping off the roof and making a flip in the air, she landed softly on her feet next to the digimon, and the hammer, bowing down to pick it up.
- Sorry ... about that...

Come to think about it, this was the very day when she met a special person. It was supposed to be like any other day, to talk with some digimon and the random human, listen to what they have to say and later leave to another. However, what happened that day was the meeting that shouldn't have happened. Two digimon whose fates were entwined encountered, and much drama would someday emerge result from that encounter ...
"Eh?"
The Alraumon was quite startled by whatever fell near her. She was daydreaming a little, thinking about the past, the present and the future when the tool fell and with a big "YANK!", it broke her concentration. She looked around to find what almost fell on her head and it was a hammer. The plant digimon hadn't realized she was walking right below a building under repairs.
Surely whoever dropped the hammer was looking for it, so she tried to pick it. To her surprise, something furry and dark-colored fell right in front of her and threw her off balance, falling on her butt.
"It's was my mistake, I ..."
The plant digimon couldn't blame the digimon for the accident, she didn't pay attention to where she was walking and ...
There was no reason to apologize at all. The digimon who almost fell on her was ... was ... THAT Renamon! The color of her fur ... that scar .. it was her!
"You!"
Her mind was playing tricks with her. Where there was a gentle renamon about to pick a hammer, she saw the wicked raider leader of before, grinning like a madwoman and about to pick her favorite sword. She simply couldn't let her to do that and leaped on the fox digimon before the many digimon under her command helped her.
And so, they ended up together on the ground. The Alraumon was pinning down the Renamon, her legs pressing against the fox's and her hands holding her arms. She had dreamed so much with this moment, now she could avenge her comrades and kill that villain. However, there was something wrong here. How could she kill somebody who was already dead? Why the renamon wasn't fighting back? And why her gang members were .. crying?
"Ah!"
The Alraumon finally realized her mistake and stand up. She was so focused in the memories of the past that memories and reality got mixed and she saw what wasn't there. The sword become a hammer, the Renamon's evil grin into a confused expression and all those Commandramons and Goblimon around them were just baby digimon now crying due the odd scene.
"I'm Sorry! I .. mistook you for somebody else"
How could she be so careless? She was proud of being mature and thinking twice before acting, but somehow everything got confusing. The Alraumon believed that she had already overcome the painful experiences of the past, but she didn't. In this land of life and death, the ghosts of the past came back to life, and due them, she almost injured a Renamon that had nothing to do with the massacre. After all, why would the famous assassin be working in the village of beginnings? Besides, she was already dead
Ashamed for her behavior, the Alraumon apologized to both the renamon and the babies she made cry. This shouldn't had happened ...

*Le Gasp!*
The sudden turn of events was sudden, when the random digimon who happened to be passing by when the renamon dropped the hammer decided to attack her unexpectedly. Renee did not expect such a violent assault, much less so from such a small and cute flowery digimon that she was caught completely by surprise, being tackled and falling down to the ground, despite the obvious difference in size, strength and weight.
The Alraumon, or at least the fox thought her to be an Alraumon, was ... well, scary. She pinned her to the ground, eyes burning with raging hatred towards her person, the icy-blue eyes looking back with a frightened stare at her. Why? What she did wrong? She just dropped the hammer for pity's sake! Why such a sudden rage? The plant looked like she was about to kill her or something, and in the light of current events, when something terrible was about to happen, a voice yelled in her head again:
- THE BITCH! LET ME AT 'ER!
And she would instinctively let control of herself slip, fright from fight being strong enough, but ... the next moment it changed. The plant ... didn't look so fearsome. At all. More like ... confused. And a piercing cry was heard from sidelines - some poor Wanyamon saw the vicious attack and got scared, immediately picked up by a caregiver and carried away, the Biyomon shaking it's head and muttering something about "reporting adults fighting in front of kids again". And soon the plant turned away, muttering some apology. She didn't quite pick what she said, it was rambly, and her thoughts were puzzled from the fall.
Just ... what the hell happen?
The fox still looked at the other digimon with a somewhat frightened look. She didn't do anything to deserve such an attack, did she? She hurt her head too during the fall, hitting with the back of her head against the floor, it now hurting much, as if there wasn't enough brain damage done already! She shook her head, trying to cast away the dizziness, and replied in her broken speech:
- Mean ... bad person... Did ... nothing you ... to. You assault... No reason. Just ... hammer drop. Nothing ... more. - the fox sounded clearly offended and sore about the head bump. It made her already irregular speech even more erratic. Frowning, she looked at the Alraumon again, and added:
- Stand... cannot. You ... on me. Off ... get... now. Please? - her eyes squinted as she rubbed the back of her head. No, really, what was wrong with people here? Renee was helping out like a good digimon, and this is the thanks she got?

"I'm really sorry for that. Let me help you."
Regardless of what was the vixen's answer, she grabbed the renamon's hands and pulled her up so she could stand up. It was bad enough that she attacked an innocent worker, but what made it worse was the fact the victim got hit so hard in the head that she was talking weird.
"How are you feeling? Do you need to go to the medic?"
The poor thing, she seemed to be a nice digimon with bad luck. She had a few scars most likely product of manual working and when she touched her hands .. they felt like the hands of somebody who used her hands a lot for rough and tough jobs. Basically, it would be impossible to believe she was THE Renamon. She wasn't young enough to be her reincarnation, and the cruel oppressor would NEVER act like this Renamon.
"If you need something, tell me. I want to pay for this sad mistake of my part."
Nobody would accept her as the future queen if she had a bad reputation in this place. She hurt an innocent digimon and had to pay for the consequences of her actions. It was simply fair for bad actions to be punished and was ready to do anything she could to try to amend for her error.

It wasn't that hard to make Renamon's irritation go away - she was a mild-mannered, kind digimon at heart, and didn't have a habit of holding grudges. Well, this renamon didn't, at least. So when the flower digimon started exhibiting genuine remorse about such sudden actions, the fox quickly forgave her, accepting her hand and her help to get up on her feet.
- Apology ... accepted... - she said, taking the small digimon's hand and lifting herself up. Then the fox looked at herself. Her fur was a mess from the fall - the ground near the construction site was littered with all kinds of rubble, which now stuck to her coat. She dusted herself up, obviously caring about not looking messy. Renamons took pride in their coats, and she was no exception to the rule.
Renee rubbed her head again when she was asked about the doctor, and frowned a bit. That was obviously a comment about her speech pattern, and she didn't like it much when people were poking and prodding the issue. Still, it was unintentional, and the fox was quick to forgive for that jab as well. Someone inside her didn't agree with such a habit, not one bit...
- How fast you are to forgive and forget...
And Renee's eyes widened in fear a bit more. Just ... what was that? That voice in the head! She heard it again! Like back in toy town, the factory... And before. The fox never figured out what exactly it was, and the voice never answered... Hmm... Maybe it was just the bump on the head that caused it... Eyes shifting back to normal, she looked down on the plant digimon, before replying:
- Doctor... no need... Only bump... remain will. Me ... talking like this before... was. - she explained, smiling sheepishly, and rubbing the back of her head, feeling a swelling there. She indeed had back luck with her head. First strikedramon head-butt, now this... People just wanted her more traumatized, didn't they?
- Renee! You ok?
Suddenly a voice was heard from the top of the roof she jumped from. The fox looked up, only to see a goblimon peering from the ledge, the construction helmet looking on his head funnily - it was too big for him. This guy was the one in charge of the whole repairs here, as unlikely as it would seem.
- I'm ... fine, chief... Return ... work to ... in a moment... - the fox called out in her broken speech pattern.
- Nah, tis ok. Wanted to tell you that you can take a break anyhow. You've been here since early morning... - the goblimon answered, before disappearing again, some loud swearing coming out towards the rest of the lazy workers, nudging them to work harder. The fox chuckled a bit, finding it funny - the chief seemed to have a soft spot for her. Turning to the former attacker, she said:
- Have ... free time, I do... It seems. But ... question. Why ... jump me ... did you? I ... reminded ... someone of? - the question was posed. And for some reason ... she sounded hopeful... Because she was... And because she wanted to know...

"Thank goodness you are okay"
Some might think that she was overreacting when she worried so much for a small hit in the head, but that's not something to simply shrug off. Even mega level digimon had to be careful when they fell and hit on their head due the devastating consequences of brain damage. It didn't help at all that the Renamon seemed to be suffering of some sort of previous brain damage as she mentioned she talked like this from before, but that could be just a speech impediment from birth.
Anyways, she said that she was forgiving her and there was no need for a medic. What's more, she was more than eager to continue working and it took her chief's order to stop her from continuing. She really was a hard working digimon.
"Why? Ehh .."
And now the Renamon was asking questions. There was no justification for what the Alraumon did, so she decided to tell the truth behind the attack. She would never get to be a good queen if she lied to other digimon after all.
"I mistook you for somebody I hate. She was a very evil Renamon who killed a lot of my friends."
The pained expression in her face and the sadness within her eyes were more than visible. It was very painful to remember what happened a few years ago. The screams for mercy, the agony of those unlucky enough to die slowly, the smell of burned meat and the tears of the children ... those were things she simply couldn't forget, images strongly engraved within her memories. And there there was the expression of that Renamon. She showed the most wicked of smiles as she ordered the death of so many digimon, and the viciousness with which she devoured the data of the fallen would chill the blood of even the bravest of digimon. If that renamon were still alive, the Alraumon was more than determined to return tenfold the pain she caused to her people.
"I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. She is dead now, but you look so much like her that it was like she was still alive and in front of me. Even if she's dead now, I simply cannot forgive her for what she did and I jumped on your blinded by my rage"

- Oh...
Renee's mouth went a bit agape when she heard the tale about an evil renamon who cut a bloody swath through the poor plant digimon's life, killing many. She was a good digimon, and she felt pity and remorse for the poor thing. In a way, she was more protected from such things than the alraumon - no memory meant no connections, no attachments that could potentially harm... But still, she understood. She still had Babamon - that nice little old lady that nursed her back to health back in the forest... The fox would feel horrible if something happened to her.
Still, that evil Renamon couldn't be her. She knew it couldn't. Renee abhorred fighting, and tried to to avoid it when possible. She had her violent outbursts, but it was just outbursts, her true nature was peaceful ... right? Right? At least she was thinking so.
- Well at least one of them got the right idea...
- Shut up. - she replied mentally, before returning to the poor girl. Her story obviously touched the fox, who knelt down, her hand extended towards the flower digimon, petting her on the head, and saying:
- How ... horrible. I ... I ... really sorry... am. Remind you ... wish not ... of that... Go away ... I will... wish you ... if... - she said, looking down remorsefully, before continuing:
- But ... not me... is. I ... peaceful. Fight ... know not... Poorly... Fighting ... bad. Babamon said so! - she said firmly, remembering Babamon's teachings very well. She told the fox not to harm or offend digimon weaker than she is, and not to harm anybody, if possible, because digimon must leave peacefully and all that... And she believed in it, truly. Only something truly mean and evil would make her want to fight... Her other part though ... it didn't need a reason...

Don't worry about that. This place brings back so many memories that even the bad ones emerges.
Definitively this Renamon simply couldn't be the raider leader Renamon. She seemed to be pure and innocent, one protected from the harshness of the world outside the village of beginnings by the untold law that states nobody can attack this sacred place. The Alraumon felt a bit bad sorry for depressing the hard working digimon with her sad story, it was never her intention to cause sadness in the heart of others.
The plant digimon regained her composure and shared with the Renamon a warm smile to prove that she wasn't bothered by her memories and accepted her petting if only because the Renamon was sincere and honest. She extended her hand to the vixen and offered her a handshake.
"I wish there were more digimon in the world who shared the same ideals Babamon and you have. The digital world of today is filled with people with bad intentions and everyday many digimons fights and dies in the eternal struggle for survival. If only we all understood each other this pointless bloodshed would stop"
She looked at the eyes of the Renamon and they didn't look like the eyes of a criminal. In fact, it seemed like ... they reflected some inner sadness. Surely this poor digimon had a harsh life as well before arriving to her new home and meeting her reinforced the Alraumon's determination to create a new digital world. It would be a digital world where digimon like Renamon and herself would never have to fight anymore, where they would instead play with the kids and .. simply enjoy life. Those who never had any worry in life ... she envied them because they still had their innocence intact.

The discussion with the plant digimon was turning nicer by the minute. It seemed she really was a good digimon, and this whole misunderstanding at the beginning was just what it was - a misunderstanding. Which would unlikely happen ever again, now that they knew each other better, and that the fox knew the reason. She could sympathize with the poor thing, and certainly didn't hold any kind of grudge against her. In fact...
- Hungry ... are you? Cafeteria ... with me ... come ... you could. Not too... far off. Free food... there. For guests ... and travelers. You ... traveler too, yes? - that was not only an offer, but a question for reasons for the Alraumon to be here. Out of pure curiosity, nothing more. The renamon enjoyed talking to somebody. She could practice that way... And ever since she and Ryusuke parted, she didn't talk much... Traveled alone... for quite some while.
The fox only nodded in silent agreement, hearing her words about the evils of this world. Indeed, she was awakened to this world only recently, but as she traveled more and seen more... well, she was becoming more depressed. This world had a lot of evil in it. She saw many tragedies, heard of even more. Alraumon as an example... And speaking of evils...
- Digiworld... bad place. Bad people... many. Looking ... I do, for them... Particular... Humans... - she started explaining, being reminded of what happened not too long ago to forget... No, she would never forget now, she remembered everything she saw ever since she was awakened in the forest... She was afraid to forget things... She even kept a diary, just in case...
Soon, they have arrived at the cafeteria - another crowded place here. There were a lot of children here, dinner time for them, and caregivers towering over them and keeping them in order. Taking place in a rather long line, the fox looked at the plant digimon reassuringly. She wouldn't mind having a dinner ... and talking a bit more...

"I haven't eaten anything since yesterday at night. I've been traveling on foot from the Tropical Jungle to the Village of Beginnings so far and I gladly accept your offer. "
The Alraumon had gathered quite a nice amount of data since her long journey began. In her small notebook she had data about the digimon and humans she meet in her travels, what they thought about the current digital world and even some comparisons about the visited areas compared with what she knew about them via Jureimon's lessons, maps and history books. Knowledge was power, and it was a power she wanted to use to create a new digital world.
What the Renamon said next was something unexpected but predictable. So she had meet bad humans as well. The Alraumon had read a bit about one infamous human from the past and never payed him too much attention. However, if there was another evil human in the digital world, that might meant there were more as well.
"I have read about a human gone bad before. He never bothered with File Island but according to history records, he did lots of bad things in the Server Continent. But that's all I know and it makes sense. Digimon can be good and bad, and the same might happen with humans too."
The plant digimon followed the vixen around the place until they reached a cafeteria. Surprisingly, there were a lot of customers in the line and they would have to kill some time until it was the turn. The mood was getting a bit too serious again due the talk about the bad humans, so it was time for some happier talk topic.
"The Village of Beginnings changed a lot since I was born like 25 years ago. It used to be only a vast area of mattress-like floor and only baby digimon lived there along one or two caretaker. But now look at it, since the defeat of the Dark Masters it's now brimming with life and it's like a small city of it's own."
Maybe it was due how now raiders and bandits took over the void of power left by the now deceased tyrants Devimon and the Dark Master, but the Village of Beginnings now looked like something completely different to what it used to be in the past. It had more digimon working as caretakers, and there were even guards defending the borders limiting with the other regions. In the old days, everybody lived in constant fear of the villains who monopolized the power, so even bad digimon either joined him or teamed up with good digimon to survive. In the modern times, the rise of organized and unorganized crime made things more dangerous than in the times of the dictators and the many kidnappings of newborn babies forced the good digimon to fortify the place that was supposed to be sacred and untouchable.

The two soon found themselves with plates full of food, and sitting on the table, a bit away from the main crowd, so that they could talk a bit between themselves. Renee took herself... Some piece of meat and some peas... The usual they were giving people here. She tended to take what others did, even when there was a choice.
She was silent as she ate, and listened to what the Alraumon told her... About humans... About how this place was 25 years ago... The fox remained silent. She didn't remember how this place was back then... Hell, she probably wasn't even that old to remember... But ... it did hurt sometimes... Like right now. People talking about days long past... And she had nothing to tell them. Empty place where her memories used to be. She sighed, looking at her plate, which was half-empty by that time.
- Remember... I do not... This place... Few things... remember... Came here... hoped ... answers find... Sadly... nothing... - she shook her head in disappointment. But it was only true, wasn't it? Her trip here was pretty much a waste of time. At least she did some good here helping out with building stuff... But still...
The renamon was a seeker. She looked for things. Be that her past, or ... other things. She was looking now for humans, particularly ... humans that had a hold on her friend... And possibly other digimon. She didn't follow Valus, he was useless. If anything, he'd lie to her and keep her off track, just to spite... And she also warned those she met... To be careful. And not to trust every human...
- Some humans... slavers ... are. Trap digimon ... implant ... control chip... Make them obey... My friend ... got caught... Warning ... humans see... Stay away... So far ... 50:50... Some humans ... good. Some ... bad. Never know... Could. Lie ... they do ... often... - she said, and took a bite from that meat loaf... Mmm... tasty.

"You don't remember your past? How that happened?"
She immediately stopped eating the moment the Renamon revealed something that might justify her strange speech pattern and raised her voice in surprise. She was no psychologist nor medic, but if there was a digimon in a terrible condition like that, she had to do something, after all the small hit in the head she caused on the fox might've worsened the amnesia
She tried to think about what could've caused her illness but that wasn't needed anymore. What the beast digimon said was terrific and most likely WAS the reason behind the memory loss.
"*gasp* What kind of monster could do that to innocent people? And the chip ... did they implant it in the head? And ... did you get a chip installed in your head?"
The Alraumon knew a lot about the past but little about the present. The situation of the digital world was even more terrible than she thought if foul villains like that were in this very File Island. And her amnesia ... could it be product of those evil chips? Manipulating the will of a living being was something very dangerous and the consequences could be devastating.
"Those humans, do you know where they are or how they are called? I don't want to cause panic, but it's important for everybody to know that there are evildoers kidnapping and stripping digimon of their free will. We cannot stay quiet like this, we must do something before the situation worsens"
As she spoke those words, she stand up and slammed the table with her hands. She thought that as much the enemies between her ideal world and herself would be just some bandits and bad digimon and humans. But the presence of this group of slavers who could control any digimon they desired and force them to fight for them was something that she alone couldn't solve. Maybe she should've asked the people she met before to travel with her, they could've been powerful allies ...
"This is a bit selfish of my part ... but could you guide me to where the slavers are? I want to know how is the enemy before thinking about a plan. That's how my mentor did everything. If you can't, maybe at least you could give me some directions?"

- Don't remember... why... I do not know... - the fox replied to the alraumon's question. She'd like to know the answer herself for that question, but ... alas, she didn't. And lack of that knowledge was ... rather painful to her. After a deep sigh, Renee continued on for a little while: - All know... that ... forest... was found... Babamon by... Many wounds... had... attacked .... probably... was. - she explained.
Renee remembered the moment very well... The pain... her body was sliced in many places, leaving visible scars... She was going to die... But Babamon saved her... Babamon... that sweet old lady. How was she doing, she wondered... Renee made a mental note to visit her... As soon as possible. She felt homesick for a brief moment... But those thoughts were disturbed by a sudden guess the plant digimon voiced...
A chip in her own head? She ... she didn't really consider the idea. Was it even possible? She didn't know. But ... Modoki didn't seem retarded at all when they spoke, and she had a chip... Or ... was she? She too, had a quirk considering speech, when you come to thing of it... Coincidence? Could be... could be not... She needed clues, clues she didn't have. So she answered honestly by shaking her head...
- Know ... not. I do... Could be... could be know... Friend ... has chip. All ... matters. I wander... look... warn of danger... Humans... trouble... big. - she shook her head. This was what she did, she warned people. Some believed her, some didn't... This one believed apparently. But ... the reaction was somewhat different... Very different. Renamon looked at the Alraumon with amazement...
Again, she asked questions. Many questions. And she had no answers, none... Why was she so persistent? It hurt Renee not to have answers. She either didn't remember them, or didn't know, which was equally bad. The fox looked away, not sure what to say... Wait ... did the plant digimon want to find them? All by herself... No.
- Humans... AIR ... called. Met... human... digimon bought ... from them... Knew ... little. Useless... Look for more... I do. You ... do something ... wish? - the fox looked at the plant digimon without hiding amazement. She was so small, and didn't look that strong, yet ... she was constantly talking about action, so energetically, with charisma even... This was ... curious.
- But ... what can we do?

"AIR ..."
The Alraumon calmed herself after receiving a small hint about what the enemy was and tried to analyze the information that she obtained from the Renamon. So there was this AIR organization of humans, and they captured and enslaved digimon through chips ...one of Renamon's friends was a victim of the obedience chip as well.
"What can we do, is to try to find more about them. At first I thought about telling everybody about AIR. However, that would only cause chaos because AIR is an invisible enemy, we don't even know where they are. "
The enigma of AIR wasn't something she could solve alone. She needed allies and data about the new enemy to even dream about taking down such invisible enemy. There was so much she didn't know about them, and about the digital world itself that she didn't even know from where to start. However, one thing that was sure, was that the Renamon could potentially be a key piece to solve the mystery.
"Maybe your missing memories are the key to solving this mystery, because maybe Babamon found you after you escaped from AIR. If only I could do something to help you to remember ..."
Then an idea came to her kind. It wasn't something really nice to do, but it might work and make her recovery faster.
"I have an idea, but it isn't a nice one. Data draining is something horrible, but sometimes it can be used for good things, like removing bad or damaged data, bugs and errors. I could try to remove the damaged data that affects you speech pattern, other bugs and maybe that would help to hasten your recover. I could try more, but I could remove part of your important data if I'm not careful"
The human counterpart of what she wanted to do would be like extracting malign tumors, ill tissue or inducing bleeding to remove poisons and relieve bloated areas. Her skill "hungry hand" could be used to absorb data, and she had some experience removing bad data from her days in the village. It was a painful experience for both the patient and the "medic", but lacking of proper medicine to deal with the illness, it was only only way to ease the problems of Renamon that she could think about. Once whatever prevented Renamon from speaking correctly were removed, it would be just a matter of time before her body fixed that part of her digicore with healthy data .. or at least that's what the theory about this intrusive and painful procedure said.
