Renee did not participate in the discussion that Raremon and Alraumon had between each other. She still did not dare to look at the raremon, ashamed of her behavior with the three guards, even if she was right... And besides, she was the illiterate one, her speech was inadequate to carry on a decent talk, without making the others decipher what she tried to say...
She was exploring and observing the surroundings, silently, as a shadow, lurking around. A curious, nosy one she was, looking at all that junk piled up in a room with amazement of a little child, maybe... maybe allowing her inner child go. Eventually, her attention was attracted to the painting that was hanging above the fireplace... Or, better to say, what was hanging below it...
It was probably the only thing that was not as corrupted, worn out and turned to rust and dust around this place... And it was ... a sword. An old one, possibly, but still in very good condition. Although the hilt was rather worn from use, the jagged blade, which bore a lot of tiny scratches and marks, was still sharp... It would require some polishing, but it was in good shape still. Curious, Renee reached with her hand for it, and then...
- That ... looks familiar...
Meanwhile the Raremon, who heard the alraumon's outburst, looked at her curiously, and shook his head. It seemed that the plant girl encountered the sangloupmon and his gang, she also talked about some evil Renamon. He heard rumors, but nothing more, not having encountered any she mentioned before in his past, despite being old. The reason was simple, when under the evil Renamon's leadership, the gang did not need to loot a village such as his... They weren't that petty...
- Calm yourself, child. We know not if they will attack, and if they will, I am certainly not going to try capturing him. We are too few, and too weak. And we are not versed in the art of war... Some of us used to be soldiers before ... but that was long, long ago... - he chose words carefully. In truth, he did not approve of that vengeance streak that hit alraumon. And certainly will not risk his people for it... And then...
- Hum?
The sigh made the renamon turn around quickly, the sword still held by the hilt in her hand. For a second it looked like she even stood in a combat stance, before looking at the jagged sword she held in both hands by the blade, the shimmering razor being mirrored in her hands. She ... she felt she couldn't look away from it...
- Excuse... me...

"But ... they destroyed my home and killed many of my friends! They are ruthless and will kill everybody if they really attack!"
She knew that it was too selfish to demand them to capture the Sangloupmon, but her grudge against the vampiric wolf and his cruel rider was too intense to simply abandon the idea. What's more, this could be the only chance she had of avenging the deaths of her fellow villagefolks and ensure the evil Renamon was dead for real. It was true that it was never Renamon's style to announce the attacks or raid a really poor village, but still ... she was sure that if Renamon was still alive, the raiding party was preparing an excellent battle tactic that would easily bypass what little defense the village could muster.
She wanted to continue trying to convince the elder about the necessity of capturing the bloody wolf, but he diverted his attention to her Renamon companion, and the sight wasn't really nice. It was like seeing again a certain somebody from the past.
"DROP THAT WEAPON!"
She shouted at the Renamon. That weapon she had in her hands ... it looked like that disgusting sword the evil raider leader always carried with her. There were many kinds of sword in the world, but the one the cunning vixen had with her was easily one of the easiest to recognize at sight due it's unusual shape. And now, that otherwise quiet Renamon had it on her hands and it was impossible not to think in THE Renamon when she looked at her. All the whole deal with Sangloupmon and the stress from having to deal with the Numemons and the Nohemon were talking a toll of her mind and she simply couldn't help but shout at her travel companion, it was better than leaping at her like it happened in the Village of beginnings ...

There was something about that sword that seemed so very familiar to Renee indeed... The handle, it fitted in her hand, it's very form seemed to be made to fit a renamon's 3-digit paw. Put ... it wasn't just that... Vivid images... Renee saw them, she saw... fire... feeling of euphoria of battle that long passed... There was no doubt about it, this blade was the clue... It brought something back... But then...
- DROP THAT WEAPON!
And the sword fell to the ground with a clanking sound to the fox's feet, she instinctively rose her hands in the air in sign of surrender, before giving the alraumon a bewildered glare. Was that really necessary? Why was she screaming at her again? What did she do wrong? Renee hated to be screamed at... very much...
- You know ... annoying, it is. - the fox sighed out, as herself, and shook her head, before picking up the weapon again, and placing it back on it's place on the wall. The Raremon shook his head too, not much for the fox touching the blade, but for the plant digimon to react in such a way. Really, she was just...
- Too impulsive, you are... But... - he said, and turned away again, looking in the window... The sky was black as always, from all those factory fumes, but it seemed that it was getting ... darker. Lightning stroke somewhere afar, cracking through the skies, and rumbling of the thunder was heard even here, miles and miles away... Clouds were darkening above the village too, metaphorically speaking...
- We do not have the strength to fight a brigade of strong, healthy and ruthless combatants... We're a bunch of handicaps who struggle for a living... But if what you say is true... - the voice of raremon suddenly rumbled threateningly. - We won't just lay unto the ground allow us to be killed... - the last proposition sounded very heavy...
- I must ... assemble the townsfolk... Tell them the news. And prepare a defense, however feeble it may be...

The Alraumon didn't speak at all until the Raremon left to organize a defense against the incoming raider attack. She was ... acting really out of characters and only the expression of both Renamon and Raremon made her realize at how she was being too impulsive and irrational.
"I'm sorry"
She apologized in front of the fox digimon and looked back at the sword.
The Renamon who caused so much pain, she always carried with her a wicked wavy sword like that one over there. I still remember how she pointed with it at those who were going to be executed. Everytime she announced something, she raised that sword and and ... I'm sure she took many lives with it. I'm sure you didn't know about it, but ... you shouldn't carry a weapon like that, at least not near survivors of the evil Renamon's raids
There was no need to have witnessed the whole massacre to know about the Renamon and her evil blade. Raiders often carried with them a signature item, and this evil raider's was a sword as twisted as her very soul. The rumor said that the jagged sword never left her hand and she valued it more than life itself, that she would kill her own mother if she had one were she to touch that weapon. Needless to say, for a Renamon to wield a blade like that was really frowned upon and those who were victims of the infamous raiders could go as far as lynching cocky renamons who tried to act like hardcore, dark and edgy tough guys by wielding those symbols of death.
"Maybe I should go to rest, I'm not feeling well. I think I will join them later when the battle begins"
She was calmer than before now, but anger still blinded her judgement. The plant digimon effectively turned the villager's battle into HER battle and now she was having second doubts about what she suggested them to do. If THE Renamon was still alive and orchestrated this battle using Sangloupmon as a puppet leader, then not even all the preparation and defenses they could muster would be enough. It was much easier to simply give up, but she simply couldn't forgive the fox nor the wolf. Knowing just how weak the inhabitants of this village were, it was suicidal to challenge the forces of Sangloupmon/the supposedly alive Renamon, but even if they had to die for her petty revenge, there was no going back.
Many years ago, she was too scared and inexperienced to fight back against the invaders. However this time anger and some years of off-screen training made her determined to this time join the battle and kill as many of the invaders as possible. By no means she was a merciless soldier, but the bitter experiences of the past taught her that those who feel no remorse deserve no mercy, if she didn't kill, she was going to be the one to die. After all, those raiders never showed any mercy for those they killed, so naturally there was no reason to hold back against the scum of the digital world.

The second glance Renee gave Alraumon was ... a pitying one. She could sympathize with that pain the plant digimon was no doubt going through... And... the fo knew she was feeling the same. Was she really in a position to berate the Alraumon for flying off the handle, when she herself acted irrationally around humans each time she saw them, ever since that fateful meeting at factory? And it wasn't even as personal as with this one - enslaved friends is horrible... But not nearly as horrible as seeing your village razed and all you care for mercilessly slaughtered. What kind of monster would do such a thing?
- Hmph, you're too soft...
- ... Silence.
Approaching the plant digimon, Renee stroked the back of her hand with her paw, shaking her head and looking at her with a pitying glare. - I ... understand... Sorry, I am... - she said. The raremon's glare was equally pitying. Not for one, but for both of them. It seemed that these two had seen enough pain in their lives to be actually considered part of this village of pain and misery... But they were outsiders. And it wasn't their battle to fight...
- You can rest in the next room for the night... - he said, waiving his hand towards the darkened doorway. - There is a closet there, where you would find ... less rotten blankets. But be prepared to leave as soon as possible... I do not wish you to be caught in a crossfire... I'll ... go alert the villagers... - with that the big slime creature went towards the exit, and disappeared in the dark of the night... One could have noticed... how hard the last few sentences were for him to say... The weight on his shoulders must have been immeasurable... And as he left, Renee, who ... listened to all of this, noted the few words Alraumon uttered last... "I think I will join them later when the battle begins..." Fighting... Renee really hated for it to come to that...
- He-he, somebody has a death wish? What a waste...
And as they were alone, Renee asked the startled plant digimon:
- Did say ... fight ... you will?

The alraumon remained silent. She could've answered with a cliche "I don't need your pity!", but she was not that kind of digimon and accepted both apologize and pity from the scarred Renamon. The Raremon pitied her as well and while he seemed to want them to stay away from the battle, the Alraumon was determined to be part of it and answered to the renamon's question.
"I have to fight, I owe it to a friend who died for me in vain."
She still remembered how Igamon sacrificed his life for the other hostages and her. Written in the mask Igamon left behind, there was a message saying how he entrusted the reconstruction of the village to her as he was more of a warrior than a proper leader. Alas, she completely failed to live up to his expectations and even after the rumor of the infamous Renamon's death, everybody left the village. The Alraumon really tried to unify the survivors, but none really believed in her capabilities and some even accused her of trying to seize the power now that their leaders were gone only because she was Jureimon's favorite student.
Indeed, it was her lack of experience as leader what she felt led to the ultimate destruction of the village and it was one of the reasons why she tried to learn how to become a proper leader. However, her desire for revenge was as big as her desire for leadership, and .. she really didn't think well the whole thing about joining in the battle. Hatred blinded her common sense and all she could think about was about avenging her dead comrades and friends.
"Now let's go to rest. Even if it's against the elder's wishes, I want to stay well rested to participate in the battle."
Said that, she coughed a little and went towards the guest room of Raremon's house in search of the mentioned blankets. Due she always lived in an area free of contamination and rich in fresh air and blessed by nature, the stagnant air and pollution in the village was affecting her harder than it would do in digimon more used to pollution. However, she wasn't going to let a small thing like that affect her, afterall she could handle a few days in this place if that meant having her revenge against Sangloupmon and discover if the rumors about Renamon's death were true or false.

Renee followed the alraumon to the resting room silently. What she heard... it didn't amuse her at all... Or was to her liking... She was not completely dim, and was able to spot when one says something with enough determination to do something. Reasoning was useless here - she knew she would fail to convince the plant digimon not to sacrifice her own life in vain... But that was a debt of honor, and honor, as usually, came before reason.
And...
Renee wasn't so keen on idea of leaving these poor wretches to their fate. But ... she hated violence too! If there was a possibility, she'd try pacifying both parties, but she, again, wasn't completely stupid, she knew sometimes peaceful solutions were impossible, like in this situation... But ... what she could possibly do? She was a compassionate heart, leaving these people, who suffered enough in their lives... She didn't want... But she couldn't fight either...
- So useless ... I am... - she muttered to herself as she found a nice blanket among the trashed and rotten ones.. Not for her, for the bold plant companion of hers. She indeed would need sleep, after all the stress of the day... She could see how she seethed with anger... Maybe rest will quench that, at least a little bit... Covering the Alraumon with it, she whispered:
- Rest ... you do... Join you ... soon, will I... - she petted the plant, and tucked the blanket around... Smiling gently, she hummed a tune to make the gods of sleep cast her spell on the smaller one soon... So caring, she was. But in truth, she wanted her to sleep sooner.
Soon, this would happen... And then, the fox stood up soundlessly, moving towards the doorway... She won't be able to sleep tonight. Voices and commotion started building up on the street as the Raremon assembled the folks. Useless to all this, to them, she was, indeed... But...
- He-he. You wanna talk? - the voice sneered inside her head.
- Yes.

The physically and mentally tired Alraumon simply went towards the closet and looked for some blanket clean enough to be usable. She was still pretty annoyed by everything that happened today and the desire for revenge kept her awaken. She simply couldn't stop thinking about those two murderers and how satisfying would be to see them destroyed, they caused her so much pain ... it wasn't even about honoring the dead anymore, it was a personal and irrational desire to see them suffering as much as she did.
"Thanks ... and you aren't useless."
Himika, as she decided to name herself, gladly accepted the blanket that the Renamon offered to her and weakly smiled at her. Then, she lied on the floor and slowly let herself the taken to the world of dreams, where she could see again those who become important part of her life.
"No, Igamon, no .. It should've been me ... zzz"
However, rather than good dreams, all she had were nightmares. All the pent up rage and frustration of the day fueled the nightmares she had at night, and now she was talking in dreams, about the horror ... and about the survivor's guilt she felt for surviving instead of the more capable Igamon

Time passed, and the fox would find herself in a place she was looking for - a room with no windows, or anybody else... Privacy was what she wanted... To think, and to talk. The voices from outside were becoming louder as the crowd was amassed by the raremon, but they were of no concern to her... To them. Or were they? Truth was... that neither version was completely truthful. She cared. And didn't care. At the same time...
- There... Now... talk, can we? - she asked a question to herself, and soon, she was the one to answer it... Other she...
- Yes, this one is nice and quiet... And I couldn't waste an opportunity to talk to you ... eye to eye...
Renee blinked when she heard that remark. Eye to eye? But... Aren't you just... a voice in my head? How... how you can... eye to eye... Why ... lone room ... need? - she asked in much confusion, not understanding where this was going, and only heard a somewhat condescending chuckle in return...
- Oh... I am. But I can be more... Create an illusionary clone of yourself, and maybe then we could talk...
- Clone? ... But... for what? ... Talk... like tis... we could... no?
- I suppose, but I miss the possibility of talking to somebody in person... Those rare occasions you give me are barely enough... I crave for more. So... how about it?
And a few moment's later, the Renamon stood still... Before, slowly, she rose her hands in the air. The clone technique she knew from ... who knows where, but all Renamons did, and she wasn't an exception. The arms then made a circle around herself, before locking down in something akin to a hand sign, her eyes closed, concentrated...
- Kohen... - her hands trembled a bit, before she slowly unlocked them, to finish the incantation, and opened her eyes suddenly, saying:
- Kyo!
And then, one would see that the foxes just ... doubled. It was like she split in two. Where there's one, let there be two... Identical copies... Or, almost identical. The difference was in... well, expression, stance, glare. Renee's remained unchanged, she was still herself, that somewhat meek, submissive self, with her flighty stance. The clone, however... Was different... It beamed confidence, authority, and a sly smirk was on her face, as she looked at ... herself? Stretching the arms a little bit, the clone silently sat on one of the chairs, one leg over the other.
- Ah, much better... Now, we can talk...

" ...."
Just as quick as she fell asleep she woke up, her face covered in sweat due the nightmares. She had still plenty of frustration and no matter how hard she tried, she simply couldn't go back to sleeping. It was one of those times were one simply had to so something to calm the nerves before ever attempting to go to sleep.
"maybe a cup of water might work ..."
The stressed plant digimon left the warm embrace of the blankets and tried to find the kitchen. Alas, the house was pretty dark at this hour of the day and it didn't help at all how dim was the light from the lightbulbs. Himika wandered from place to place looking for the kitchen and then she witnessed something strange: Her Renamon companion was in a isolated room whose lightbumb was stronger than usual, maybe to compensate for the lack of windows.
The Alraumon knew that it wasn't nice to spy others, but curiosity got the better of her and the fox digimon was acting quite suspiciously with the whole thing about being in an isolated room and ... splitting herself in two? What's more, the clone seemed to have a personality of it's own and spoke about now being able to speak.
"Split personality?"
She wondered. The vixen had a few times shown some sudden changes in attitude but until now she never imagined it could be due a separated personality. Or maybe she was just practicing her kohenkyo, the Alraumon jumped to conclusions too many times lately and the least she could do was to give her the advantage of doubt. Anyways, she continued spying them using as cover the wall between them. Maybe she could learn more about her apparently bipolar friend and avoid saying that might hurt her feelings the next time.

The exchange of glares lasted for a few seconds, before Renee turned her gaze away from the clone, not being able to hold it for much longer. She was unsure, uncertain, and it showed. The clone ... she seemed to look like she knows she's in advantage here, and wasn't ashamed to show it... Well of course she did, after all... they both shared the same mind... There were... no secrets between them...
- They... there ... fight will be... soon...- Renee finally broke the silence, and a smirk appeared on the clone's face, who only nodded. That threw Renee in confusion and uncertainty once more... But, they both were about to have a long, and something told her, that it would be an unpleasant talk too...
- Indeed. And you want me to step up again, don't you? - the clone chuckled. She was completely in control here, and she knew it. And enjoyed the position she was in. The one where somebody IMPLORED her.
- Yes... Please... Bandits... attack... will they... soon. My friend... and others... gonna die... Please... I fight... badly... But you ... master. Of combat... Only one... who can do this... you are. - and so Renee implored, no... she practically begged. Because she knew that she wasn't a fighter... And yet she was... her other self. It was ... weird to watch. She was begging herself to do something. And that other self...
- Nope. Can't do.
- But... but why? Villagers... they... defend... cannot... die... they will... Please...
- Why should I? You remember how these bastards met us? Met your friend? These pests aren't worth it. Leave them to their fate, Renee. - the clone replied coldly. The difference between them was quite obvious. For starters, she was literate. Her intonation ... cold, cruel. Her expression lacked compassion, showed only contempt. To this place, to it's inhabitants, she cared not what would happen to them. Unlike Renee, who had her emotions written all over her face, in her eyes.
- But... but... remember... I do... Fighting... you like... much... I ...control... full ... will give you... Kill them... you may...
- I like fighting, but I hate fighting in disadvantage. These scumbags are not fighters. They can barely walk! They will be slaughtered, and I won't ally myself with losers. They can all burn for all I care. - the cruel reply came...
Renee looked down when she heard that... Usually... usually her violent side only sought conflict, but now... now, when she needed her most, to save somebody... A lot of somebodies... And she refused to help. Just like that. Denied her plea... She closed her eyes turning away, that look in the cruel fox's eyes was just insufferable - they were laughing... Laughing at her, at her helplessness... But... who will have the last laughter? Renee's eyes suddenly opened, showering the clone with an icy, scolding glare.
- So ... be it. Force you ... I can not... - she turned to the door, about to leave, but then, tossed: - Then... I will fight... myself...
- W... WHAT?!

"..."
The Alraumon didn't know if facepalm or get worried about what she was witnessing. Oookay, the Renamon was kinda eccentric and seemed to have some mental issues product of her encounter with AIR, but now she was being ... a bit stranger than usual. One thing was to talk with oneself when alone, but creating a clone to talk with, and the clone answers back? That was insane
It was pretty strange to see the two Renamon speaking between them. One was quiet and calm like the usual Renamon and the other seemed to be her more courageous, rude and selfish side, kinda like ... how she reacted when the numemon and nohemon trio got rude with the plant digimon. What's more, the rude side talked like a jerk and didn't have the speech impediment of the quiet side, she even seemed to be merciless and didn't want to do anything for the victims and ... just what did she say?
"Renee?"
She suddenly realized that she never bothered asking the Renamon's name at all, and thanks to the rude Renamon, now she knew how the "normal" self was called. The Alraumon then wondered if she also gave a name to the "other" Renamon, as people with multiple personality disorder often gave names to their other selves. Nevermind, that wasn't the moment to think about stuff like that, what really mattered was that the Renamons now started to discuss about the helping or not in the defense of the village. The Jerk Renamon was adamant about not helping while "Renee" wanted to help but was unsure about her own abilities to fight.
Then "Renee" walked towards the door after the negative of the cruel Renamon and almost discovered the Alraumon, who literally hugged the wall and was concealed by the rotten wood door, but decided to look back one last time to say something about decided to fight by herself. From the tone of the jerk Renamon's voice, that was something shocking ... but it was even more shocking how just an .. illusionary? clone had her own personality and moved independently from the Kohenkyo user. Anyways, Renee was very close from discovering that Himika was eavesdropping and the Alraumon had a decision to make: Reveal that she heard everything that they said and add herself into the discussion, or escape while they still were talking. Whatever those two said next would determine what she would do ...

Oh my, how have the tables turned. One remark from the normally meek and submissive Renee managed to bring her the "initiative" in this talk, so to speak. What an unexpected turn of events it was - now the cruel and arrogant one was the one up, and it was the other who'd be in position to pull herself a chair and put one leg over the other, controlling the situation. It seemed that Renee decided to use the only weakness her counterpart had...
- Fight... I will. By myself. - she repeated firmly, turning around to face the clone once more. She looked back with a somewhat ... confused, startled... frightened glare. That one was incredibly unusual, at least for her. And there were reasons too. Because Renee did not know to fight quite completely... And that meant...
- You can't do this! You'll die! And kill us both in the process! - she exclaimed, and a mean smirk appeared on Renee's face. She started to slowly understand why having someone around your finger feels so good. But she didn't do this for any kind of satisfaction, just for the sake of greater good...
- ... Exactly. Understand... This battle... inescapable is. For you... So ... choice you have. Either ... you fight. And take ... chance ... to live through this. Or I go... That way... doom is assured. For me. And you... Mileena. - the two renamons clashed glares again, and this time it was the clone to turn away from that drilling gaze. The meek side had more backbone than one could have thought, or can see. It was a surprise even for the other self...
- Why are you doing this? Why the hell do you care so much about these insignificant wastes of space and data?
- Because ... I want to.
And that was pretty much it. "Mileena", as the other Renamon was called, couldn't even argue with it. It would be like arguing with a child who wants a piece of chocolate, or something similar. No other reason, aside from simply wishing it. Such kind of motivation was always the hardest to cripple... Then, suddenly... a smirk appeared on the clone's face. A somewhat... satisfied one?
- You're becoming shrewd Renee, I like it. - she grinned; - You got me cornered here - it's either I fight or we both perish. Guess I have no choice...
- Sword... I noticed... you like much. If you help... as reward ... the sword ... you can request. - Renee smiled back and winked, which surprised Mileena once more.
- Very shrewd. Well, it's a deal then. - she replied, and lend a hand for a handshake.
The clone disappeared after their hands touched, and Renee was left alone in the room once more. Or... was it Renee at all? At this point... it was hard to tell. Last, they BOTH looked confident enough... But maybe there was a difference. The fox stretched herself, flexing the muscles and throwing some punches in the air. Swift and brutal. Before storming out of the room, not noticing the alraumon at the door, and went straight to where the sword was hanging on the wall. Snatch! And it was in her hands again.
Mileena held the blade in her hands once more, looking at it's sharp blade, relishing in how comfortable it lied in her hand. She found a rug somewhere, and wiped the blade from the dirt and dust that stained it. A few rubs here and there, and the gleaming blade once more looked battle-ready - reflecting the scarce lights that were coming into the room. The fox's eyes glowed with eager fire.
- As reward... Yes... I'll do it. For you... You will ... belong to me. - she said to the blade, and approached the window. Uproar from the main square of the village was heard even from here. These pests weren't worth defending... but for a price...

Sandwiched between the wall and the wooden door, the Alraumon was unable to see what followed next, but at least he could make assumptions from listening to what they said each other. "Renee" as the passive side was called, seemed to have an unusual determination in her tone voice and was somehow controlling the situation while .. Mileena was she? was losing her cool and pretty much despaired the moment the Renamon with speech impediment confirmed her intentions of fighting in the incoming battle.
"The sword ..."
She didn't like at all what she heard next. That jagged sword, the battle lusting side of Renamon wanted it as a reward, and the obsession she showed for it was akin to the one "she" ..
"No, it can't be .. just a coincidence"
She wanted to believe this was just a coincidence, that her Renamon companion had nothing to do with the evil renamon of many year ago. The fact she liked that sword was an evidence too weak to assume she was THE Renamon and she already accused her of being the evil renamon back in the Village of Beginnings. If she were to accuse her again, their partnership might end here and now and the odds were that she was wrong again.
Thankfully, her doubts and suspiciousness towards the Renamon were interrupted by the loudness outside home. The Raremon elder most likely had already speak with the population of the village and everybody was debating about what to do next. Using this noisy distraction as excuse to "wake up", she left her hideout behind the door and acted as if she just woke up, moving next to the Renamon and looking through the window as well.
"*yawn*, what is happening outside?"
She said and ignored the fact she was holding the sword. Sleepy people were supposed to have their senses slightly numbed, so she tried to act like she didn't notice yet the sword.

Renee looked outside, listening to the sounds coming out from the central square. Shouts and voices coming out of there were startled. But... not very frightened. In fact, not frightened at all... She could make out several calls demanding to fight back, to "show the invaders what they're made of". This gave the Renamon some thoughts. These... rejects, they were weak, but at least they had spirit... And spirit was very important in any kind of warfare... Demoralized lion was often weaker than a daring goat... Maybe this fight won't be so hopeless after all...
She twirled the sword in her hand again. Damn, it fitted her, it was made for her hand... It felt so familiar, like an extension of her own arm... The fox's mind was made - this sword she would take with her - one way or another. Either as reward, or by stealing. Mine, it's mine... My precious... - she thought, looking at the blade in her hands again... And then...
- Huh? - she turned her head, only to see the plant digimon standing next to her. She looked sleepy, but this wasn't time to sleep! There was no time to waste on that, the fox knew it. Attack could happen any second... They needed to use all the time they have to ... prepare for the onslaught. Strength-wise, they were no match. But they were fighting at home... And that offered more ... less honorable tactics...
- Join the fight, I will... - she said turning to the alraumon, a vicious and anticipating smile on her face almost saying one thing - "I long for combat". - C'mon... I will lead the defense... myself. Enemies... will come here to die. - she gesticulated with her sword in hand, before nodding to follow, and jumped out of the window, following towards the square... A time of fate, a time of battle... A time of... Total war.
