hm ...That was it, just a simple "hm". Irene thought it would be a lovely place to write poetry, but with the distracting children at play, she couldn't help but watch. It was noon at first and she was sitting on a swing, her feet dangled and children stared at her before moving on to their business. A few adults thought she was a child until they came up to her. Their mistake wasn't very bothersome to the timid girl, she found it a little funny. To thee ..." No ..." Irene spoke to herself, she scribbled out the first two words. The pencil she had was a mere stub and no eraser. And by judging her paper, she kept writing and erasing numerous times. Hours past and most people left, it was getting dark out. During those ours she did observed the young ones, helped an elderly couple and stretched her legs. Irene sent a message to her father that she might come home later than normal. It was the responsible thing to do. " Having trouble I see, miss Irene ..." Tokomon spoke with a smile. He was less worried of being spotted now. As usual he kept himself in the security of her purse. This time with an ample amount of food for the both of them. He nibbled on an apple through out the day, keeping his stomach satisfied. Irene glanced back only to give her partner a gentle rub on his back, " I suppose so ..." she answered with a small giggle. She went back to her pondering and a goal to finish this ... or at least write a few verses.

He hated Dinosaurs, almost as much as he hated most people, save himself of course. They were just lowly and ugly lizards, hardly deserving any recognition at all. What had these gigantic lizards done at all besides exist? It was like giving the next average lizard all the attention in the world for just being a descendant of those nasty terrible things. What made matters all the worse, was the fact that the boy was stranded in the middle of a park full of two things he hated. Dinosaurs and Humans. Perfect, just absolutely perfect. It wasn't at all as bothersome as it would be though, because it seemed like it was starting to get a little darker. This of course meant that the stupid parents of the even stupider children would take them home and return sometime when the sun was brighter and more in the middle of the sky. While this boy who traveled through the partk was young and only ten years of age, he didn't like going to the park at day time. Actually, he didn't like being here at all, but the boy named Trevor needed to get away from the house that evening...he needed to get away from that witch that lived inside the same house. Taking up space and oxygene, that was what she was doing. Trevor had half a mind to hope that she'd trip down he stairs and die, in fact he was pretty sure it was more than half a mind. Trevor walked slowly through the park, surprisingly with out any shoes on. Why should he wear shoes? He wouldn't need any of he were walking in the grass, and he wasn't entirely bothered by stepping in animal poop. Plus, lo and behold Trevor actually enjoyed the feeling of grass in his toes, one of the very few things the boy actually enjoyed that was truly beautiful...and not just wanting to hurt others. With each step, the green leaves tickled the under skin of his foot. "Hmm." was the only noise he made, not a thoughtful hmm, just a normal hmm as though he were sighing with displeasure, as he usually did. Then something rather strange happened. Trevor stopped dead in his tracks, and stared hard in the direction of another person, green eyes narrowed into a deep glare. He didn't expect to see her ever again, not after the mall, and how she wasted her own money on him. What did she think she was doing here in the park? Here Trevor thought that Irene was a mature and normal girl, as stupid as she was, and then suddenly....she was at the park! His glare grew harder, considering his options. He could try to talk to her again, or he could leave Irene alone and pretend he never saw her. Despite wanting to leave the girl alone, he found his legs were leading him in her direction. What was he doing? Trevor tried to stop himself, but still, he felt his body moving to her. Whatever, at least Trevor could surprise her and make her want to leave. As much as Trevor hated this place, it was his park, and he certainly liked to make people feel unwelcomed. "Hey!" Trevor said, hoping she would hear him, and he was close enough, "Remember me, Irene?"

The first to react was Tokomon. He wasn't too fond of the boy in the first place. At first he was thinking Trevor was going to ruin his perfect state of happiness and zen. He will not let that happen. The small pink creature sat quietly as the child went towards their direction. He had a scowl on his face and thought, Why doesn't he just leave us alone? Certainly he does not like us does he? And by the way he acted in the mall ... Atrocious. These bitter thoughts grew and grew upon the brat he despised. Irene noticed the foul look on her partner. She wasn't too happy at all by his behavior. She looked at the boy with a solemn stare. Her expression turned to a gentler one then to a complete smile. Of course she remembered Trevor. In her view she didn't think he was the kindest person either, but at least give him the same respect as any other person deserves. " I do..." she said in a cheerful manner and held in some stutters, " How have you been Trevor?" Irene spoke once more with the same smile. On the other hand, Tokomon could care less about how this boy's sate of being. Although normally Tokomon did not hold grudges, but being called ugly was uncalled for. Irene swung gently on the swings, it felt like she was flying. Her body sailed forward and back in a rocking motion and she giggled. Once in a while it looked like Trevor was the taller one. Unfortunately her feet kicked her purse and suddenly her bag fell over. All the content slid out of the purse including Tokomon. The little "ugly" doll froze and waited to see what happens next.

Trevor's green eyes blinked, watching the girl from where he stood. He wouldn't have minded if she forgot him, it was only natural for someone so unintelligent. He would just have to make her remember him in some way, some terrible way. His toes curled a little in the grass, feeling each blade between his toes thoughtfully, what would she think when she noticed him? Would she be angry, or upset? These were usually the main emotions people got when they saw Trevor again, so he certainly wouldn't be surprised. "I do..." she finally said, making Trevor nod slowly in response. Good, so she was starting to get a little smarter than the last time he was her, this was good. Was that all she was going to say though? Certainly he expected a little more than just that, then, the bland peasant spoke once more "How have you been Trevor?" he blinked once more, and shrugged his shoulders uncertainly. There was a lot to say about that subject, he had been good and terrible, more terrible than good, but he knew it was never a good conversation to start with. "Not well," he replied bluntly, he never did care for small talk, and and soon as the awkward silence came around the better for him. Quite rudely, the girl started to swing on her children's playground, making the boy scowl and glare up at her. What was she doing exactly, wasn't he here to talk to her? She clearly had no respect for Trevor as company, well if she wanted his respect, she was certainly going to have to earn it. Trevor could tell already, while watching Irene swing, that she was doing a terrible job so far at earning it. "Do you enjoy swinging?" he asked her, his young voice sounded obviously pissed off, but he wasn't going to vocalize his displeasure yet. Then, the clumsy fool kicked her purse, making the boy flinch, not wanting to get hit boy any of the contents. Was that on purpose, but she was merely trying to make it look like an accident? He glared furiously back at Irene "Well now look what you've done!" snapped the boy "You've gone and spilt everything.". Usually Trevor, the gentleman he was, would have just stood there and made the lady pick up after everything she spilled, but something pink made him look in it's direction. It was the doll! The ugliest thing he had ever seen, and it still was. A small smirk appeared on his face, and he slowly walked up to it, hoping that he wouldn't go blind if he stared at it's ugly body for too long. "You still have this thing?" he asked, and knelt down "If it were me, I would have thrown this horrid monster away when I got the chance." then Trevor reached his hands out to pick it up.

" I do .. oh! ...I'm .. sorry." Irene didn't know what to say to that. Honestly she could care less if she knocked over her stuff, she was going to put it back. By the time she could react, Trevor started talking again. She looked uncomfortable of how Trevor spoke and him going to pick up the 'doll'. The one thing her partner did not like was other humans picking him up without permission. Her face showed a very concerned look and some displeasure. Either let him find out for himself or grab the 'doll' away from him and act even more suspicious. In the end she knew for sure this wasn't going to end that well. As he was about to be picked up, the small pink thing flailed to his feet. A light growl was uttered from the small creature and some slight hostility was shown. Tokomon gave a nip at Trevor's fingers, unintentionally scrapping his teeth lightly against the child's finger tip. He was ticked, but not enough to ever hurt a child, even a "Smart Alec" like the kid in front of him. " Don't you dare touch me with those grubby little hands of ours young man!" Tokomon barked out. A dark scowl grew on Tokomon's face. Irene was astonished by his reaction. She didn't know what to say, she just sat on the swing until it gracefully stopped. There was a very quiet and awkward silence in the air. Irene couldn't lie to the child, she didn't think he was stupid enough to think it was a 'talking toy'. That would be an idiotic thing to say. So instead she started to pick everything else up except Tokomon like nothing happened. " I'm guessing you have a lot of questions..."

It was so ugly, Trevor wasn't entirely sure if he even wanted to pick it up. Even if he did want to take a closer look at the doll. Come to think of it, he couldn't see any stitch markings in it, perhaps it was hidden in the fake fur. Somehow though, the boy couldn't deny it, as close as he was, this doll was starting to look more life like than the first time he saw it. Then much to the little boy's surprise, it moved to it's pudgy little feet, and growled....it GROWLED at him. His green eyes flew open in surprise, having hardly any time to react, he quickly felt a sharp pain in his fingers. The thing that Trevor had once thought was a poorly made doll had proved to be quite alive, and quite angry at Trevor, making the boy fall back on his bottom. He gave a little gasp, holding his fingers as though he were in terrible pain, when in fact, it wasn't that painful at all. Part of the boy was surprised and scared, but another part of him felt a sudden bubbling in his blood, the start of anger. Irene, she had lied to him, and now made of fool of him. Trevor was about to open his mouth to shout at her, when the horrid living creature did something that was even worse than what had already occurred. It spoke. "Don't you dare touch me with those grubby little hands of ours young man!"The human hardly heard the words, the sound of his heart thudding wildly, and mind straining to comprehend what had happened quickly drowned it all out. It was speaking to him. The boy stared at the ugly pink creature for several long moments, his face twitching every so often. The expression on his face was hard to tell, because it kept changing, from being completely blank, to fear, to anger and back again. It was as if he couldn't think rationally any more and his mind was shutting down, only allowing his body to react on emotions. Animals didn't talk, monsters and aliens didn't exist. What the hell was that thing? It was when Trevor's breathing started to get heavy that he heard a voice as clear as day break through his thoughts. "I'm guessing you have a lot of questions..."WHAT DID SHE MEAN GUESSING?! On the inside Trevor's whole being started going into panic, he couldn't think, his breathing became short and rapid. This was all to much for the poor little boy to take in, and yet...on the outside, his body stayed decently calm, and his face suddenly grew into a modest, sincere smile. "If my questions don't trouble you, Irene," he smiled up at her surprisingly calm, "I certainly would love to hear some answers. Please and Thank you." First of all, Trevor never said Please or Thank you, let alone in the same sentence, that was as if his body was just making his lips move, while on the inside, Trevor was suffering from a massive panic. Then the boy suddenly sprang to his feet, [pointing at the Tokomon, panic catching up to him "WHAT IS THAT THING!?" Trevor practically shouted "YOUTOLD ME IT WAS A DOLL! NOW SUDDENLY IT TALKS AND GROWLS..AND..AND IT...IT BIT ME!" The poor confused boy gasped for air in all his horror and rage "I WANT TO THE TRUTH! NOT SOME...SOME FILTHY LIE!"

Tokomon was getting a kick out of this. He never knew how animated humans could be. He couldn't help but give a light chuckle at the child, he was laughing at him. This made him felt better nonetheless. He was tempted to takes things further but he had second thoughts. Abusing the situation would be very immature of him. The little creature calmly waddled back to Irene and cuddled affectionately. He did feel some sympathy for the boy, if a 'doll' suddenly came to life and talked he would panic too. Now here's the explanation, Irene kept quiet waiting for Trevor to calm down. She knew that she couldn't give him too much information all at once. How Trevor asked for answers made her smile, because he was polite compared to a few minutes ago. After everything was picked up and organized she picked up Tokomon with care and held him like the most cherished thing she had ever received and he was. " I apologized that I lied to you ... " she began, " It a little digital creature called a Tokomon. From my knowledge, there are more of him but they do not look like him," her words were calm and soft, she waited a little so that her explanation could sink in. " Know it is far fetched I know but you can't really say it is a lie because, well," She didn't know how else to explain it so Irene lifted her partner carefully in the air towards Trevor. " Just a fun fact ... they do have feelings." Hopefully that was a reminder of him of what happened in the Mall. While Tokomon was in the air, he gave a big smile. His smile showed the rows of teeth, it was like looking into a sharks mouth. Irene sat back down onto the swing and gave a sweet smile. She patted the other swing next to her for Trevor. Meanwhile Tokomon kept looking at Trevor with his big black marble like eyes. Both of them would understand if he were to just leave without a word. When Irene first met Tokomon she was stupefied herself. It was a lot to take in but over time it was normal. As of right now, almost nothing could possibly surprise Irene.

His whole body heaved with each and every breath, it was as if he couldn't even breath he was so angry and panicked. His green eyes looked demandingly from the living doll, and then to Irene, waiting for an explanation. He could hardly stay silent for this long, so she had better start talking this very instant. Trevor was not amused, he wasn't even in the slightest bit mutual about this whole situation. He was angry, and he was.. though he'd never admit it, quite scared now. The boy had grown up living with a mind set that told him exactly how things were, and how things were done. The fact that there was something defying his world's logic was horrifying to Trevor, it made him feel small. As a rule, he hated feeling that way. "Well?" he snapped, eyes fixed on Irene now, what did she think she was waiting for? Had he really made himself look that stupid? Trevor wasn't in the right mind to care about his image, and how he freaked out, so this didn't go acknowledged for very long. "I apologized that I lied to you ... " For a Moment, his face seemed to soften at this apology. She didn't seem scared, she was sincerely apologizing. Or, maybe that was how he heard it, but for some reason, the boy quite liked hearing it. He shook his head and scowled ever worse this time, he was not going to let her get the best of him. She deserved his anger, she lied to him, and what's worse, she...owned that THING! Part of the boy was so angry and upset with...the both of them, that his hands clenched. Trevor found he almost wanted to grab the pink think and throw it as hard as he could. However, he wasn't generally a physically violent child, so he wouldn't. Especially after it BIT him. "It a little digital creature called a Tokomon. From my knowledge, there are more of him but they do not look like him," Trevor's expression changed from one of anger, to one of extreme doubt. What was she blathering on about now. A digital...creature? It didn't seem at all like something made out of just, data or pixels. Did she even know what she was saying? Or was she just making it all up as she went on, and why wasn't that creature speaking, or was it programmed not to speak unless told to do so. Again the image of throwing this Tokomon entered his mind, making him grind his teeth furiously, of course he wouldn't touch it. He didn't know what extent of harm this thing could do to him yet. Of course there was also the fact that he generally wasn't a physically violent child. It was when Irene mentioned "feelings" that made him glare at her even worse so. He didn't care, if human feelings meant so little to him, why would some hologram or whatever's feelings matter? "Feelings?" he spat back, glancing over to the creature warily, he didn't like the idea of being fully attacked by that thing, so he had to decently hold back what he wanted to say " Why should I act kindly to just some, stupid creature made out of Data. You said he was Digital didn't you?" he then paused and glared at the Tokomon this time "It's not like you're real, you must be programmed to react," If he didn't care about the feelings of humans, like stated before, he certainly didn't care about this ones. Mostly why he was being careful was because it...still rather scared him

"It's not like you're real, you must be programmed to react,"Not real? Right then and there Tokomon felt his temper rising. It was bad enough being insulted but now is being called a fake? He wasn't going to bite him again, he refused to. However, Tokomon had to say something by all means. Someone like him would not stand for such behavior. " You think you are so smart, do you? I have feelings, I do think, sleep, hunger, and thirst, even have the capacity to grow. I am by definition a living being, despite of whatever I am comprised out of." there was an actual tone of anger and he kept a sharp glare into the young boy's eyes. " I'm not some simplistic animatronic toy you humans have. And if you can't comprehend what I'm telling, then you are the one who is ignorant." Irene remained quiet as her partner was spitting out words. She wanted Trevor to here her best friend's voice. It would be her response as well if Tokomon hadn't jumped in. Her expression was different this time, a faint sense of abhorring anger could be seen if you looked closely. She didn't hate the child, only what was said. It was then she noticed a few people walking by with a slower-than-normal pace. Well isn't this concerning, Irene thought to herself. Casually she lifted Tokomon again to set him in the bag. When her partner was lifted he wiggled and flailed before relaxing inside the bag. He still kept a glare at Trevor and narrowed his coal-black eyes.

Trevor sniffed in the air around him, folding his small child-like arms across his chest, he was starting to get chilly, or maybe the chill was staring at the strange creature in front of him. What was it thinking about him now? Had his words finally sunk in to these nut-jobs? It seemed that lately since he's been in Japan, the people think it's okay not to listen to his words, and to think he was wrong. That was certainly not the case where he lived, anyone who bothered him there were sent home emotionally scarred, or at least, that was what Trevor thought. It was then that it seemed the little ugly pink thing, didn't at all like him words. It started to rant at him, king him step backwards in distaste, anger, and once again, fear. Instead of choosing not to listen and ignore the words entirely, his eyes narrowed once more at the creature, listening to every word it ever said to him. "You think you are so smart, do you? Those words stuck at him the most for some reason, what was that supposed to mean exactly? That this stupid little pink creature thought it was better than him? Once more the image of throwing it as hard as he could entered his mind, but just as before, he threw it away, he wouldn't sink that low. Would he? The dark haired boy WAS smart, he knew he was smart, and he wasn't going to let some pig-faced blob of pink tell him he wasn't, it didn't know ANYTHING about him. All he could do was glare at the creature as it continued speaking about it had feelings. Fine. "Fine then," Trevor sniffed, folding his little arms closer to his body, green eyes glanced at Irene. She didn't seem to impressed with his words either...no matter, it wasn't like her opinion of his mattered. "I was w-," he choked, and one hand clutched at his throat dramatically. Trevor couldn't believe it, had he really become so prideful that he couldn't do something as simple as admit to being wrong? Of course he did, because he had never been wrong before , he never had to admit such a humiliating subject, as to be wrong. Could he do it? Or would that seem to much like he was apologizing for being wrong. He really didn't like either of those ideas. No, he wasn't wrong, the assumption he made was incorrect, being wrong was entirely different, or at least, that was what he was trying to make himself think. His expression grew into a blank one, and he numbed his thoughts and emotions for a moment, "Fine then," the voice was cold and suddenly mellow , "My assumption was incorrect, It appears you do have emotions, even if it is anger. Congratulations," he nodded, for several moments, he could hardly believe he had been able to say that with out choking on the words. This had better please them. Then his green eyes seemed to brighten up as a thought crossed his mind, he turned to Irene "Were do you get one?" he paused "Where do you get what ever he is?" he hoped it didn't sound too much like he was wanting one as well, that would just make him look foolish.

She raised her brow as he choked on his own words. Irene knew what happened and won't mention it. It reminded of herself when she was Trevor's age. All alone, thinking that she knew everything. She wasn't really prideful of that, really it was she had so much time to spend with herself and the books she borrowed. That was her until she meet Tokomon. One small creature changed the direction of her life to the way she is now. She is, without a doubt, grateful for having such a companion as Tokomon. When the little boy asked where to get a creature such as Tokomon, she was stumped. " I didn't get him from anywhere, he just showed up one day when I came home from school." This puzzled her. From her knowledge, you cannot buy friendship. That would mean that the bond was placid or fake. Same with Tokomon as well. From anger came to confusion, his face showed that the child's question was a ridiculous one. It was as if asking: what color his her brown hair? That was his opinion. " First of all I would like to point out that I am no pet either. We have made a mutual agreement in the beginning that we were friends." Tokomon said, this time it was significantly calmer compared to how he spoke with Trevor before. " I came to her, when she needed me. And from what I've learned, I needed her." He paused for a moment. He was trying to think what else to say, " If however you are desperate enough, fate will decide if you may 'get one' or not. You simply cant' buy a friend as with a dog or a cat. It would be a fake bond I suppose, my kind is not some merchandise for every human."

He stared blankly at Irene and the ugly pink blob, trying to hide his emotions as much as possible. He certainly hoped they didn't think he was so desperate as to want to buy one of those creatures, even though he really did want one. He had enough money to buy one, he was certain of it, in fact, Trevor had enough money to buy three of them. It wasn't because they interested him, or because he wanted whatever powers they held either. He so desperatly wanted it because, SOMEONE ELSE had one, and not him. He was the most special person in this world, if someone as bland and stupid as Irene had one...he should have one too. He deserved something special, all the toys, all the presents, all the books in the world were not enough, he wanted something like this. Strange, considering the fact that he was so afraid of thing pink thing earlier. Even Trevor found this ambition slightly unnerving, but, it would all go away "Well?" snapped the boy again, anger rising once more. Then when she spoke he frowned, even worse, unable to comprehend, or accept her answer. She just found him like that? So easily found him? And yet Trevor hadn't seen one appear to him before, why did she get one? Why was it fair that this... PEASANT, should get a creature like this? No..He shook his head ,before noticing he did that, probably looking a little silly. No, he didn't have to have one, after all that "Tokomon" as an idiot as well, in fact, even worse than Irene. He didn't want one of those ugly fat monsters, he wanted something better, yes, Trevor would take over the world with that creature as his tool, and that stupid pink thing would be gone. "First of all I would like to point out that I am no pet either. We have made a mutual agreement in the beginning that we were friends." he looked back to Tokomon and scowled, he wasn't talking to the creature, how dare it answer to him. Irene should learn to control her pets, honestly. Trevor listened to its voice, rant on once more, making his shoulders rage with fury and embarrasment. How was Trevor supposed to know how to get one, honestly, he grew up in a normal world. OF COURSE he would think that you buy these things, it was the only thing he really knew was true, money and buying things. He wasn't a fool, he was quite the opposite, they were the ones acting like it was more complicated than it should be. Talking about "fate" Trevor didn't believe in that rubbish. Fate didn't make a person, people made fate, and if that wasn't true, Trevor himself made fate, he was in charge of his destiny. No "fate" was going to tell him where he would go in this life, and if he was "blessed" enough to get a stupid digital monster or whatever. "First of all, let me inform you, I'm not stupid, my question wasn't a stupid one, so stop treating it like it was," Of course, the boy didn't know what they thought of his question, but he felt like he knew that they thought it was stupid. " How in the world am I supposed to know that you are not pets, you don't look like humans, that's for sure," he sniffed indignantly. He wasn't stupid, that question was perfectly reasonable "As for fate, I doubt it exists. Everything that happens, happens, or is just a coincidence." the poor boy didn't even realize how foolish he must have sounded currently, but of course, he never would admit to it any ways. Irene covered her mouth with the side of her elbow. She pushed herself away from Trevor and Tokomon with her feet against the ground. It was a light couch, she had to clear her throat. " That wasn't a stupid question. I believe Tokomon wasn't trying to say it was or implying that it was a stupid question." Her voice was quiet but had a full graceful tone. She understood Trevor's view perfectly and wouldn't bash it. Irene was taught that every person has the right to think one way or the other. Irene had no right to judge it and should show respect. Which she does the best she can. Maybe if you were someone like Fred Phelps, she couldn't tolerate that kind of behavior. Irene felt it was her turn to speak. Although, she doesn't exactly know how Trevor will respond. If he can't swallow his pride, then she can't say anything about it. He will not loose her respect for him but more than likely she will think more differently of him. " He may not look like us, but he surely has the sentience of one. For all we know he could be a 'human' trapped in a creature's body." she paused and responded to the other comment, " It could be coincidence or fate. It all depends on a person's view." She covered her mouth once more, it was a yawn. She felt more lethargic than ever for some reason. Irene glanced at the ball of pink in her bag. He was still staring at Trevor. Well now that's enough of that. Irene lowered her head to Tokomon before speaking to him, " Please stop staring, you know better not to stare." Tokomon huffed out some air and lowered his head into the safety of the bag. He stayed quiet for a while then looked up at Irene. Irene giggled a little, " You're such a little baby." She meant it in a teasing sort of manner, it wasn't even close to being a serious statement.

"He may not look like us, but he surely has the sentience of one."
"Sentience for one?" Trevor echoed, not in a thoughtful way, but in a way that sounded like he was having a hard time believing her, and needed an explanation for this. Normally this was about the time Trevor would start completely bashing on what they said, this of course, made him shift uncertainly. This was why he didn't like Irene, she made him WANT to listen to a person, namely her, she made him think her opinion was...was VALID. Any fool would know that this ten year old boy, didn't think anyone's opinion mattered. It was only his that mattered, but for some reason he was always so interested in her opinion. No matter how unbelievably ridiculous it was to him. Sentience? Fine, he supposed it did have some sort of human like qualities, but it wasn't like he understood that before. Unlike Irene, who obviously thought he knew so much, Trevor was still learning, he was just still smarter than everyone else at the same time. It made sense to Trevor anyway. He folded his arms across his chest and scowled at the stupid little creature, before looking back to Irene. Honestly the boy didn't like either of them, but at least Irene wasn't AS stupid as the Tokomon. Granted, though, he still thought she was pretty dumb, even if he did almost care about her opinion. Almost...of course.
"For all we know he could be a 'human' trapped in a creature's body." Trevor blinked his green eyes, lips almost twitching at that statement. What on earth could possibly do that to a person. He knew of no such machine or tool that could take a soul, and transfer it into another body. It was impossible, unlikely, and completely illogical. If this was what Irene's imagination was doing to her, making her think such foolish thoughts...He certainly didn't want anything to do with it. He looked away, glancing at the older lady for several moments. Why didn't she just ask this Tokomon thing anyway? Was it that impossible for the creature to answer that question? Why was it being so quiet now. Or did Trevor secretly do more damage to the creature than he thought? That would make his day.
"I see..." he said, green eyes fixed on one Dinosaur Statue now, not really caring much for it. He just wanted to stare at something other than them. Them...why couldn't he accept that it wasn't just Irene, but also Tokomon. Perhaps because his mind was still having trouble coping with the shock, even though he appeared still okay. "Please stop staring, you know better not to stare." For a moment the boy thought that she was talking to him, which made the boy whirl his gaze back on her. Then, quickly, he realized she was talking to that monster. His jaw stiffened slightly, what was it thinking now? Was it thinking about how good he had tasted earlier? The mean young boy's bitten hand was clutched by his other thoughtfully. Better be more careful Trevor thought to himself though I doubt it's much powerful than that. He could take care of himself if trouble arises. He always did. "Why can't I get one?" the boy suddenly mumbled maybe too loudly, green eyes a blaze with unhappiness. He was special, he had to be, he was sure of it! But then...why hadn't fate smiled upon him, and given him some sort of creature to use? "What makes a person so special, that they could...." he looked away, and changed the subject after a few moments "At any rate, It looks like it's going to get dark soon, right? Don't you have a place to go?"

Irene studied the boy once more. She wasn't all that happy of how he was behaving. Then again she still kept in mind that she shouldn't do the parenting. Irene wasn't a mother. Unless if you count Tokomon, but Tokomon was a brother figure. "I see..."Irene knew from when he changed his attitude that he was not interested in the least bit. But why did she keep talking? The small lass didn't really know herself. Maybe it was because she rarely opens up this much. All this pondering and puzzlement led her to think of a question. If or if not people are born evil or raised to be evil. In Trevor's case Tokomon thought he was born his selfish and rude. Irene at first thought it was the other option, environmental attributes. Selfish, selfish ... greedy. Only those words came across Tokomon's mind. "Why can't I get one?" ... "What makes a person so special, that they could...." It irked him. All that complaining and such was driving him to his anger point. He shuffled around in Irene's bag to turn his back on the boy. Tokomon didn't want to yell or scold at this point. " Correct and yes." Irene spoke, " I'm not homeless or anything." She stayed relaxed. Irene wasn't going to show any other emotions until Trevor changes into a better mood himself. " I am also not in a rush or anything. Unless if Tokomon is tired or bored of this place." She studied the boy once more before asking, " Mind if I ask the same question?"
