"I don't think evolving is gonna help you much, sparky," was it nicknames now? Or, was it just Ryu carelessly forgetting the actual name of his partner? Well, whatever the case, Sakura's partner had a funny way of describing this so-called process. Saying they would get 'bigger and more powerful', still, what was this fireball going to become? An even bigger fireball?
"Ehh," Ryutaro was hardly interested in what this Hanzo person knew about this world and its creatures. His own partner was from this world, although he didn't uh... communicate, was the word for it. He didn't communicate very well, with Ryu, yet the boy guessed that his fireball knew just as much as that other two digimon in their group. Exploring was the best way to learn about a new place anyway, and he at least was eager to do that much.

Hanzō nodded as he took in his partners words. This was something that he never realized until it was just brought up. Well, it would only seem right for that to be if they were all destined partners. They would need some kind of similar trait to connect with. Himself and Kyokyomon were connected by their honorable and ironically rule breaking traits. Hanzō never did anything wrong and helped people in need no matter what, but never listened to authority figures. Kyokyomon was as honorable as a samurai warrior, let alone being a beast/dragon experimental digimon broke the rules of the digital world.
Hanzō turned his head as Sakura came up to him and posed a question to him. "Well, I know that the land is vast. Have yet to run into anything worthy of worrying about. Fruit seems plentiful around here too. Though, Kyokyomon had to tell me which ones I could eat and couldn't. The place overall to me is amazing and like nothing you could find in our world." His expression staying clam and not displaying excitement, yet could tell that he meant what he said.
Kyokyomon also turned to look at Sakura. It seemed that she was tense around here. Was she worried about anything? Thinking about it more, Kyokyomon also noticed that she seemed subtly interested about it. If she wasn't interested, then she wouldn't ask Hanzō his opinion on it all. "This place has a lot of knowledge and lore with in it. All is a good experience for anyone in my opinion."

"It's definitely different." Sakura said, looking around at the scenery as she walked through the forest of trees and road signs. Currently, her view on this world was more on bizarre rather than amazing. Amazingly bizarre maybe? That sounded right. Of course though, she had only been there for ten minutes or so. She probably was judging things too quickly. She nodded when Kyokyomon spoke. That was a pretty good point too... As dangerous as this place probably was, there was likely some very interesting aspects to it as well.
Sakura was still nervous about this place though. What if they were attacked by a digimon their partners couldn't defeat? They'd have to run for it, and if they failed, they'd be goners. Sakura was no coward, but being in a situation where it was very possible, and easily imaginable for them all to end up killed for the first time in her life, especially with her little brother here too, it was difficult to even think about. The thought of the dangers of this place most definitely outweighed the curiosity she felt about it. Right now, she still wanted to find a way home fast.
Walking through the forest, they soon came upon an area of trees that had a bunch of large nests built on the lower branches. Sakura stopped as the nests suddenly erupted in barely comprehensible chatter. "What's happening? What did we walk into?" Sakura shouted over the noise, staring up at the large nests. Were these the bad digimon Wanyamon had been talking about.
"Oh relax. They're probably just debating on what to do about us." Wanyamon shouted back, still sounding very unconcerned, despite the fact that whatever was up there could easily decided to attack them. "Oh, and I know this place. It's a Poromon village." Wanyamon suddenly jumped up on Sakura's head. "HEY POROMON WE COME IN PEACE!" Wanyamon bellowed above all the chatter.
Moments later, the chatter suddenly stopped, and a bunch of fuzzy pink bird heads poked out from the edge of the nests, huge eyes blinking curiously. A few flew down from their nests to investigate the group closer. "Greetings strangers, and welcome to our village!" One finally spoke up.
((OOC: Feel free to take control of any of the Poromon as you please))

Of course it was different, they all knew they were in an entirely different world! A different place, where strange creatures called digimon lived. Although it did make the boy wonder just how different this place was from the world they knew. Were there schools here? Buildings? Ryutaro wanted to know, but he would have to wait to find out it seemed, for they were lost in a confusing forest—
”What?!” he called back at his sister, unable to comprehend what she was saying. Nor could he figure out just what was going on above them, with all the flapping of wings and the chirping and everything else, it was near chaotic. The teenager brought his hands up and covered both of his ears, his eyes followed DemiMeramon, but the fireball appeared to be just as confused as the rest of them. For once, Ryu’s partner had forgotten to put on a tough façade, there was instead a look of confusion in his eyes.
All the noise seemed to stop at once, and suddenly the area grew quiet. The kind of quiet that you would expect to hear upon dying... so, were they dead?
Ryutaro then noticed the Poromon, many of them in fact. He lowered his hands away from his ears and stared at the digimon curiously. They were just pink bird... things. They didn't even look scary. ”Thank... you?”

"Thank you!" Was Sakura's sheepish response to the Poromon's welcome. These guys were kinda cute. She certainly was relieved that the first locals they met here weren't one of the huge ones Wanyamon had described earlier. If digimon these tiny found this place safe enough to nest, it was probably unlikely there would be too much danger here.
Sakura glanced over to Ryutaro and Hanzo, but to her surprise, only spotted Ryutaro. She looked around for their companion, but he was gone. "Hanzo must have fell behind..." She muttered. Well, so much for following the more experienced person. They were on her own again, and as the eldest of the two clueless digidestined, she found herself in charge again.
Meanwhile, the Poromon was certainly happy to see their new visitors, despite their initial wariness. "Humans and digimon together! That must make you digidestined!" The one Poromon spoke, eyes wide in awe. The young digimon had heard stories about how the digidestined saved the digital world so long ago.
"Of course!" Wanyamon piped up happily. "We are the digidestined, bound by fate and destined to protect the digital world from evil!" She went on proudly. Wanyamon certainly wasn't the modest type around a crowd of eager spectators.
The Poromon all chirped joyfully as the Wanyamon spoke, pretty much swarming around the two humans and their digimon. "Please! You must tell us of your adventures!" Piped up another Poromon, the others following with a resoundingly unanimous "PLEASE!".
Sakura froze as the Wanyamon went on running her mouth. "Wanyamon hush it!" Sakura scolded, clapping her hand over her partner's mouth. Sakura was definitely getting frustrated here. Wanyamon was too insistant on them being 'digidestined'. Now they had a crowd of feather balls here believing they were here to fight 'evil' and begging to hear stories of their so called adventures.
Sighing, she turned to the Poromon. She saw the eager eyes and knew they'd be disappointed, but Wanyamon had run her mouth, and she had to set it straight. "I'm sorry guys, there is no adventures to tell about. These guys popped out of our computers into our world just today and we accidentally came through with them. We're just trying to find a way to get me and my brother home, and that is it." Sakura said plainly, ignoring Wanyamon's indignant huff.
As Sakura predicted, the Poromon's disappointed sighs echoed through the trees, and the atmosphere had quickly changed from excitement to disappointment. It was sad to see so many cute pink balls of feathers become so crestfallen. "You want to go home?" The Poromon asked, thinking. The Poromon all proceeded to chatter loudly amongst each other again, blasting them all with another wall of sound, before finally becoming quiet again. "Well, we don't know how, but Hawkmon might! He just went out to gather food for us, he should be right back!"
((sorry for the wait!))[/sub]
