His head was throbbing, the pain was too great, this digidestend was frustrated as usual. He didn't know why, although it was possibly what happened this morning that caught him off guard that made him this way now. Cadmus didn't have an amused face, it matched the agony in his mind. He need somewhere to sit. Somewhere where he can sit in peace with his partner. Now Kotemon wasn't very a talkative digimon. He walked silently behind Cadmus. The golden eyes glowed like two spirits bouncing in a black abyss that was his 'face' as he walked. The moment they found a place to sit, near the water's edge, Cadmus sat quietly down then exhaled a deep sigh. He looked over curiously at Kotemon, who was standing still.
"You know, can sit down ... it's fine" he spoke in a weakened and tired voice. Kotemon stared back then plopped on to the ground and puffs of sand sprayed up into the air. A small chuckle crept out of Cadmus' mouth and shook his head slowly. "You're an odd one alright ..." he knew his partner would talk back. Although he didn't know why. Right now it was be perfect for the horned digimon to relax as well.
The sun fell to darkness and everything felt so tranquil, Cadmus' headache subsided. The young man went on his back to rest and smiled to himself. He looked at his partner again and he was motionless. "Okay ..." Cadmus sat up quickly, only to take Kotemon's shoulders to lay him back. " ... relax, at ease, this is one of the few time you can do this!" he chuckled again, this time with a little more energy he had earlier. But there was no response. It was only a soft blink of Kotemon's shining eyes. A small snicker uttered from him but that was just about it. Pretty sooner Kotemon was forming 'sand-angels' with his long sleeves while his feet were tapping against each other. You know, he acts like a total child ... and yet like a complete machine the next minute. Interesting. Cadmus thought to himself. It kind of reminded of himself, vaguely.

SnowAgumon was tired. She had been walking all day. She really just wanted to lie down and sleep. She had spent the day helping a friend of hers find their lost good luck charm. She had searched all day and she had finally found it. In a deep dark cave. She hated dark places. She figured she would come to Dragon Eye's Lake. There wouldn't be many digimon around and she could finally get some peace and quiet.
She was walking up to the waters edge, hoping to sit with her feet in the water, when she saw a human. She sighed to herself. Right when she thought she found a quiet place. Her curiosity was too much for her though and she had to investigate.
She walked up to the human, throwing caution to the wind, and started by greeting it. "Hi. My name is SnowAgumon. Who are you? You must be a digidestined, to have a digimon with you. Can I sit here too?"

Cadmus only stared at the wan digimon. What an interesting ... Agumon, but why is it white? She seems ... inquisitive. Although she might possess a large amount of strength, possibly greater then Kotemon's ... I might as well play it safe for now.He nodded slowly after giving himself a moment to observe SnowAgumon. Cadmus' showed no emotion nor any form of expression until a later after. It wasn't much. Only a dull look, almost relaxed if you will. As a kind gesture he patted a seat for his guest. He wasn't going to be rude to the new face, or at least not too rude. Possibly by the end of this encounter he would actually have another friend.
"Nice to meet you...by the way I have a name, Cadmus Stone and this is my partner Kotemon. He doesn't really talk much, not sure why I hope it isn't a problem."
Kotemon on the other hand kept staring. He sat there fixed on SnowAgumon. Nothing came across his mind, it was just a deep void inside. The silent digimon finally blinked, it resembled a candle flicker. Kotemon gave a slow wave then plopped his arm to the ground. An odd look came across Cadmus' face then looked at the other. A small shrug was given from Cadmus as well as a faint chuckle. The young man took off his shoes and socks then rolled up his pant legs. He carefully settled his feet in the water. A shiver crawled through out his body before relaxing a little. Cadmus' smile grew a little wider but kept it to himself.
"...So...why are you here?" he replied in a smooth voice. Surely there was a good reason, he thought. Cadmus kept his attention to his partner, very intrigued by Kotemon's actions. But why be this awkward? It wasn't embarrassing to Cadmus at all, it was catching him off guard at times. And definitely making quite an impression to the other digimon. [/sub]

SnowAgumon smiled a toothy smile a Cadmus. She dropped herself heavily into the spot he offered, Letting out a sigh. It felt good on her tired feet to sit down. She liked this person he seemed nice. She looked at his digimon, he looked familiar. She blinked and shook her head. He probably just looked like another digimon she had met.
"Nice to meet you...by the way I have a name, Cadmus Stone and this is my partner Kotemon. He doesn't really talk much, not sure why I hope it isn't a problem."
SnowAgumon grinned at him. "Hi Cadmus, Kotemon. It is my sincere pleasure to make your acquaintance." she had heard those words before and had thought it would be funny to use them. She liked how they sounded. They made her sound so smart. No, intellectual. "I don't mind the silent type, i talk enough for ten digimon, at least thats what my friends tell me."
When Kotemon waved at her SnowAgumon figured he must be shy, so she suppressed a chuckle and waved back cheerfully. She was really getting deja vu from this. She was almost certain she had met this digimon before, but......... somehow she didn't believe it. She tipped her head to one side, considering him, then brushed it off. It couldn't be that important.
"...So...why are you here?"
She groaned. "I was running around with my friend all day, trying to find his charm. It took forever to find and when i did it was in a huge dark cave. Now I'm tired and I know my friends wont follow me here because of th─.........." she complained, suddenly stopping short ".... because of the long walk" she finished lamely, shuffling her feet on the sand.

He jerked his head up a little that turned into a nod. Cadmus kept his focus on SnowAgumon, a glare that usually pierce into anyone's heart. But his eyes were slightly softer, not by much. His suspicions grew when she told her story. To top it off SnowAgumon's body language was a little off. Cadmus quickly disregarded that when he noticed his partner acted ... odd. Kotemon stood up suddenly, like something had gone wrong. The silent digimon walked over to SnowAgumon from behind and batted her head softly. His tail was wagging softly and kept pestering the poor pale digimon. During this time you could see Cadmus become a little annoyed of this. What in blazes is he doing?, with that thought he let out a small bark.
"Hey! Don't do that!" A slight grimace was shown on his face. Not once did he see Kotemon act like this. Maybe in his fresh or in-training, but never as a rookie level. Kotemon looked over suddenly, with out a word he walked back to Cadmus' side and plopped on to the ground, but kept his attention to the other digimon. It wasn't really a bad thing, Kotemon thought. Cadmus on the other hand believed that it was a violation of personal space.
Off in the distance the sun kept driving lower and lower. It was a falling angel descending to this world. The water was still calm and the sky was filled with colors that gave a cool vibe. The moon itself appeared with a glowing essence. Cadmus looked up and noticed it was partially cloudy and covered the moon's beauty he kept looking at the sky then back at the lake and sighed. He stood up and looked at the two. "Maybe we should find something to keep us warm ... " [/sub]

SnowAgumon shrunk a bit at the glare Cadmus was giving her. Did she do something wrong? She squirmed. Maybe it was because of what she said. She looked away from him, looking instead at Kotemon. It was still troubling her how familiar he looked.
Suddenly she felt something bat her head lightly. She turned her head and saw that it was Kotemon. She poked him lightly to get back at him, grinning. She loved to play. It was one of her favorite things. He kept pestering her and she let him, poking him back. She almost laughed aloud. She noticed his tail wagging and realized hers was too.
"Hey! Don't do that!"
She looked at Cadmus. Why shouldn't they? This human puzzled her. She was aggrieved when Kotemon looked at his partner, then walked away and plopped down. She gave Kotemon a conspiratory wink, before turning most of her attention to Cadmus.
"Maybe we should find something to keep us warm ... "
She nodded, "Oh yes, it is getting a bit cold isn't it? Hmm well lets see what's around." She was starting to feel the chill. She got up and shivered. She looked around for something, but all she saw was a cave. She. Would. Not. Go. In. A. Cave.

Kotemon tried to give a confused expression, but really his mask covered it like all expression he tried to make. Instead he tilted his head at a slight angle. He was tempted to disobey orders and continue with his curiosity. No. An order was an order. Personally Kotemon did not favor heat or cold, he wouldn't mind either. His partner however did.
Cadmus thought the cave was perfect. All he need was stuff to burn. "You you alright with this cave?" he asked, his focus was on the two. Kotemon nodded eagerly, then the icy-blue eyed male looked at SnowAgumon, " I don't mind if you disagree." His attention went back to the cave. It was a perfectly good cave! Hopefully his digimon would agree with him. Cadmus loves people who agree with him, but not with everything. It is because if people agreed with everything: life would be boring.
After a few moments Kotemon went back to pestering SnowAgumon. He couldn't help himself. To him it has been a while since he interacted with something similar to him. Cadmus looked back and noticed his interaction with the other. He paused with a confused look then shrugged it off. Kotemon stared right back then went back to poking and batting at his new friend.

"You you alright with this cave?"
SnowAgumon sighed. She really didn't want to go into the cave. She didn't want to part ways with her new friends either. Fine she would go with them. But she wouldn't go in the cave. She would sit outside it. Yes that could work. She would do that.
"No, err. Ok, lets go." she said a bit reluctantly. "I suppose it will work for the moment." She scratched her head. Maybe she should have said no? Oh well no taking it back now. She would do what she could with the situation.
Kotemon was poking her and batting at her again. She smiled. She prodded him back. This digimon was pretty fun, despite being quiet. She hoped they would stay here for a while longer. She missed having new and fun company around.

He crept closer to the cave, checking inside. To him it seemed perfect. Cadmus looked at his partner and spoke, "How about you find some foliage and wood." For once Kotemon answered, "Yes Captain." his voice was more like a bark. Before Kotemon went to do his task, he looked at the other and waved.
Cadmus brought his attention to SnowAgumon, "And maybe you can help me start the fire." He didn't have a bossy tone to SnowAgumon, it was more gentle. There was a pause of silence before he said something, "Do you ... think I'm aggressive? Or rather too strict." A frown grew on his face.
He had never asked this question before. It wasn't like him to ask something like this. More than likely why is because his partner wasn't around. "I know I'm not the most kind person to be around ... heck I even made a few people cry for being angry at them." His head lowered. Cadmus questioned himslef why he's telling this to a digimon he had just met.

SnowAgumon looked at the cave anxiously. She waved at Kotemon as he left. She kept a slight distance between herself and the cave mouth. She hoped Cadmus wouldn't ask her to enter the cave.
"And maybe you can help me start the fire."
She nodded. She would be good at making a fire. She sat down. Her feet still hurt. She hadn't had a very long time to sit down and rest.
"Do you ... think I'm aggressive? Or rather too strict.""I know I'm not the most kind person to be around ... heck I even made a few people cry for being angry at them."
She gave a start hearing this. How should she know? She had only just met this human. "Well, I think you are kind. Maybe a bit strict, but not too much. I don't think you are aggressive. And Kotemon doesn't seem to have any complaints." She reasoned. She was fairly sure what she had said was true.

" That's ... nice to hear." His voice faded. It was the truth, but it didn't feel like it. He had to speak more of his concerns. Something still didn't seem right. " I think that is what the problem is. Kotemon being okay with how I boss him around. No complaints just an 'okay'. I don't mind it but really, but maybe he could lighten up on the emotionless demeanor," he continued on until his partner came back, " I'm actually glad he's opening up to you," he admitted. Something about this new face gave him a reason to speak more than he wanted towards anyone else. Kotemon had a pile of twigs and such when he came back. He stared at the two and tilted his head. He knew they were talking about him but didn't mind it. Kotemon went into the cave to set up the make-shift fire place, Cadmus smiled and patted his head with a sense of approval. Surprisingly to Cadmus, Kotemon returned a response of affection with a hug. Could he have heard us all this time? Cadmus thought to himself. A tiny chuckle was uttered by the human then looked at SnowAgumon with a shrug.

"Hmm well maybe he likes being ordered around by you? Maybe he is scared that you wont like him if he isn't quiet? Or he might just feel so comfortable around you that he thinks talking is unnecessary?" She blinked. Either way it was something Cadmus would have to figure out for himself. She grinned when Kotemon hugged Cadmus. Emotionless huh? She laughed inwardly. It seemed to her that Kotemon was plenty expressive of his emotions. She stood up. "Ok, I guess I'll start the fire now. Stand back."
"ICE SHOT!"The freezing shot burned the wood and started the fire. She glanced at the digimon and human. She felt lonely looking at them. She wasn't as close to anyone as they were to each other. She sat down again outside the cave with a plop.

ooc: omg I'm soooo sorry I didn't reply!!! ;A; He paused before speaking, "Yeah, I guess that is plausible." Cadmus hesitantly returned the hug. "Never had a hug in a while. Thank you." He watched the snowy colored digimon in some amazement when she started the fire. Kotemon's eyes grew as the fire crackled.
The two sat with SnowAgumon, but Kotemon was the closest. Cadmus kept looking at the two. Maybe it was easy making new friends, he thought. It had been a while since he had talked to his small group from his school years. Ever since he met Kotemon as a tiny Kapurimon, he began to detach himself from others besides his sister and mother.
Come to think of it, when was the last time he spoke with people outside of family? This puzzlement grew the more he thought about it. It got to the point of when was the last time he got out of the house besides right now. His vision was darkened and from the real world Kotemon stared at him wondering what he was thinking. His curiosity took over and he started to walk over.
The masked digimon waved his sleeves over Cadmus' face. This brought Cadmus out of his pondering, but he flailed away from Kotemon. The human was very displeased, there was an irritated look and he huffed out some air. Immediately Kotemon scurried back to SnowAgumon, his golden eyes glared back at Cadmus when he shook his head. SnowAgumon wasn't sure what to do. It had been quiet for a while, which had been nice after her day's excitement, but then Kotemon had annoyed Cadmus. The human had shooed the digimon away and to SnowAgumon's surprise, Kotemon came and sat with her. She was a bit uncomfortable about this. She didn't like to get caught in the middle of anything.
"Ummm, I don't want to over-step any boundaries, but please don't fight. It's not good for partners to fight! If you fight with each other then you wont be able to fight the bad guys!" She told them. She poked Kotemon in the side. "Now go apologize Kotemon! I saw you start it. Hurry up or Cadmus might not forgive you." She lectured the digimon, ushering him back towards his partner.

Immediately Kotemon flailed when he was poked. He stared at SnowAgumon with a 'confused' look. Kotemon didn't really follow orders from others especially other digimon. When she asked to go apologized he only tilted his head. His reaction only made Cadmus roll his eyes.
Cadmus rubbed his eyes and felt his own hair before speaking again. "Kotemon, she asked you nicely." His partner looked over and waddled back. He wasn't too good with words so instead he gave an apology hug. Cadmus remained unresponsive. He wasn't mad at him anymore, but he wasn't glad either. He looked a little tired.
Finally he gave a delayed reaction. It wasn't a full hug, it was only a pat on the back. "Keep in mind little guy, you're one of the best things that has happened alright? Now don't forget that!" It was a really odd tone to such a thoughtful thing to say. His voice sounded like he was scolding but at the same time showed some sort of kinship.
