"Wow! I never imagined that being a witch could be this much fun!"
Kazai exclaimed as she ran through the electronics store. Her Digimon, Witchmon, followed behind her as Kazai made her way through the DVD isle. Ever since Kazai had figured out the secret of the Digiegg of Darkness, she had begun learning the true meaning of what it meant to be powerful. Nothiing was off limits. Nothing. She could go anywhere she wanted, even after hours and at any time she wanted.
"I like... This one! This one! This one! And this one!" Kazai said as she pulled some DVDs off the shelves and placed them in her backpack. She then zipped her backpack and put it right over her shoulders once again. There was such a thrill here with shopping after hours. The store, and the entire mall, had closed some hours ago. It was nearly midnight right now and they had already hit up three stores.
"I told you... the more powerful that we become, the more dreams that I can make come true. That is the nature of power," Witchmon said as she finally caught up to Kazai. She stopped only a couple feet behind her, and the girl turned around to give proper attention to her Digimon. The two of them, both witches, would smile at each other.
"Kazai-chan... I want to give you the world," Witchmon professed. "And with my magic, I can."

Kiyoko hadn't meant to be out this late. Usually by now she was curled up in her bed either sleeping or playing on her laptop. She supposed her daily schedule was just another one of the things that had changed with the arrival of Koromon. The round pink Digimon was tucked in her arms as she walked down the lamplit streets, and she was pretty sure that he was asleep already.
But when they got closer to the mall, she realized that he was not. "What's going on in there?" he suddenly piped up, turning in the direction of the shopping center. Kiyoko stopped walking and tried to figure out just what her Digimon was talking about. A few of the shops were situated right on the outside edge of the building, with windows against the outside border, and suddenly she spotted movement in one of those windows--someone was in there. But that wasn't right, the mall was surely closed by now. While Kiyoko was incredibly curious as always, she hesitated for a moment. Whoever was in there could be some sort of dangerous thief who was robbing the mall, or an escaped criminal trying to hide, or... "Kiyo-chan, I think there's a Digimon in there!" Koromon snapped the girl out of her thoughts.
Perhaps it was against her better judgment, but if Koromon didn't seem to see any immediate danger, Kiyoko figured it was all right to get a little bit closer to the window. Soon she was right up against the glass, peering in and searching for the moving form she had seen earlier. "Hopefully if they're bad guys they won't notice us," she whispered to Koromon. The Digimon's red eyes stared intently through the shop window, also curious to see what another Digimon might be doing in the human world.

"Oh my god! The new iPad! I should grab this too!" Kazai said as she picked up one of those as well and placed it inside of her backpack. The girl, dressed like a witch to mirror the attire of her Digimon partner, was really having a blast tonight. Sure, she was pretty well off. Her father made plenty of money, but simply the thought that with such a powerful Digimon she could have anything she wanted and no one could get in her way was enough to make her bask in glory.
Of course, she didn't want anyone to know it was her. She didn't want her reputation to be tainted. However, whenever a Digimon such as Witchmon was around, advanced electronic equipment would begin to fail anyway. The cameras in the building had been disabled by Witchmon's aura, leaving only fingerprints behind, but Kazai wasn't very worried about those being used against her.
"Is that everything you would like, my lady?" Witchmon asked her partner. She stood behind her, placing her hand on the girl's shoulder. Kazai looked up at her with a warm smile after a moment or two.
"I think that's everything here... but maybe... we should get some more clothes!" Kazai stated enthusiastically.

There was this feeling in his gut that told Shuichi that he was going to get an earful when he got home as it was sort of late, but it technically wasn’t his fault that he hadn’t made it home at his usual time. How was he supposed to know that there was going to be some construction on his usual route home from the park? He really hadn’t any choice but to walk home the long way around, so maybe his mother would understand that fact. Of course, Shu knew that his mother was going to freak out, but at least he could say that there was no way that someone was going to sneak up on him since he had both a baseball bat, which he had been using to practice his swing on some rocks, and Puroromon with him.
Speaking of Puroromon, the little guy had left the safety of Shu’s head and began buzzing off in the direction of the mall, so Shu had no choice but to go after his partner just to make sure that nothing bad happened. Unfortunately, Puroromon had sensed two Digimon in the area and was going to investigate the matter, and Shu was sprinting along with the bat tucked under his right arm. “I have a feeling that I am not going to get home any time soon.” He was right as he turned around a corner to find a girl standing in front of a window with a Digimon, but she didn’t seem to be doing anything wrong. This was the moment that he noticed that Puroromon was hovering above their heads and peering through the glass, so for once Shu followed the crowd by looking through the window. He hadn’t been very quiet about it so he figured the girl had heard him come up. “I take it that there is a Digimon in there.” His partner tapped the window with his head, which Shu took as a yes. “I am so going to get in trouble for this, but my curiosity won’t let me leave.”Shu got a good grip on his bat and then slammed it into the window at a spot that wasn’t close to anyone’s faces, which of course made it shatter. He then proceeded to knocking out any sharp shards that were still sticking up. “Let’s go see what is going on, shall we?” [/blockquote]

"What do you think they're doing in there?" Kiyo asked quietly, in part to herself and in part to Koromon. It looked like the two silhouettes were going to leave the store and move on to a different one. Before Koromon could respond, though, he and Kiyoko both heard a buzzing sound, and the girl turned her head to spot an insect-like Digimon flitting about over top of their heads. "Another one?" she muttered. But if there was another Digimon, it probably had a partner...
And just as she had that thought, a young boy appeared, carrying a baseball bat. He seemed to think there was a Digimon inside the mall too, or at least his partner did. "Uh, hi there," Kiyoko greeted him. "I'm Kiyoko...wait...what are you doing with that?" The girl's eyes widened as the boy began to swing his bat. She stepped away from the window, hunching over to shield Koromon from any glass shards that might spray toward them. After the crash of the breaking glass had quieted, Kiyo looked up at the now-broken window, her eyes darting between it and the boy who had smashed it.
"Let's go see what is going on, shall we?" the boy asked. Kiyo assumed that he was talking to her, too; she was a little unsure how to respond. She had to admit, though, she was certainly curious.
"I don't think this is a good idea," Koromon said nervously, his voice trailing off as he realized that there was nothing he could do to stop his partner. Kiyoko took a few cautious steps forward, knowing full well that she could get into so much trouble for this, and slipped quietly through the hole in the glass before turning to see if the boy and his Digimon would follow.[/blockquote]

Content with all of her selected items, Kazai was just about ready to leave the shop. She had taken over $3,000 (you can convert to yen if you'd like xD) worth of clothes and electronics today and was now feeling content enough to leave. Granted, she wouldn't mind picking up another hat and skirt before she left the mall. However, before she could tell Witchmon that she was certainly ready to go, she heard a crashing sound. It was glass shattering nearby. With that, it was certain that someone was onto her.
"Witchmon!" Kazai screamed in shock. She wasn't sure what it was, but they had come in here using magic, and with the same Magic, Witchmon should have disabled all the building's security features. It couldn't be a S.W.A.T. team, could it? Kazai grew worried. She knew she ahd Witchmon to protect her, but she didn't want to have to deal with guns or anything like that. Nor did she want for anyone to see her face. She was only playing Witches, after all. She was just having fun.
However, Witchmon had already located the thread. They were now coming in from directly behind Kazai. And what else did she notice? There were two different Digimon coming along as well. A Koromon and a Pururoumon. Of course, she recognized the two In-training level Digimon. Still holding onto Kazai's shoulders, she'd turn the girl around. After this, she walked around the girl to stand next to her. They'd both face this threat together.
"Ah... Two more Digidestineds. Isn't this a pleasure?" Witchmon would greet the four of them. She grinned. She then turned to her Digidestined Partner and looked down on her with a wide smile.
"Kazai-chan.... They came here to stop us. They're going to tell on you and get you put in prison. If we don't take their Digimon on, I'd hate to see what happens to you."

The girl had started introducing herself to Kiyoko, but the boy was already past introductions. Of course, Puroromon had heard her name, so he tried to fly around in front of her face with what could be described as a smile on his face. Then, the bee landed on Shu’s head before he went into the store to see what exactly was going on, and hoped that there would be rice balls involved. There probably wouldn’t be, but a Digimon could hope, right?
Shu watched as the girl with the Koromon walked into the store first, which probably wasn’t the nicest thing that he did as it could be dangerous. Of course, it conflicted with the idea of ladies first, so he had made a judgment call. It turned out to be a very bad one once he saw exactly what was inside of the store. He didn’t like witches, and Digimon witches were just making him feel irritated. “Didn’t know Digidestined were supposed to wear weird costumes when they were out with their Digimon. Was that in the manual?” Of course, he was joking about the girl’s outfit, but on some level it was meant to be a little more hurtful than what his mind intended. Then the witch had to go and tell the girl that they were here to stop the girl from doing whatever it was that she was doing, which was completely a lie. This was definitely an evil Digimon that should be put in a corner or something. “The only thing that would happen to her is nothing. I don’t care what it is you all are doing in here. My partner and I were just making sure no wild Digimon was wreaking havoc, and seeing as how it just you two playing dress up we can go.” Shu turned to walk away and then glanced over at the other girl to give her a signal to do so as well. This was a fight that they couldn’t win.[/blockquote]

As Kiyoko walked carefully through the closed shop, it did not take her long to find the source of all the commotion. There was a girl, holding what was most likely stolen merchandise, and another woman--no, a Digimon--beside her. They were both dressed in witch outfits; while Kiyo figured that the Digimon's appearance was natural, the girl's probably was not. The boy with the baseball bat walked up, and the witch-like Digimon commented on what a "pleasure" it was to see them. Somehow, Kiyoko imagined that this was sarcasm.
When the boy made a joke--at least, she thought it was supposed to be a joke--about the witch outfit that the girl was wearing, Kiyoko almost had the urge to snicker. She fought it off, though, as she realized that the boy's taunting probably wouldn't get them to a favorable outcome in this situation. And just like that, the witch Digimon proclaimed that the two others were here to punish the girl for shoplifting.
"Whoa, whoa," Kiyoko said nervously. "I...I don't think we want a fight." Koromon continued to stare at the witches; he clearly didn't like this situation at all. The boy was a bit more vocal about their lack of intention to fight or make trouble, but Kiyoko still worried that his words might set off the costumed girl. As he turned to walk out, his bee-like partner buzzing behind him, Kiyo took a few steps back as well. "Uh, yeah, we'll be going now, I guess," she told the two, still clutching onto Koromon. Kazai wasn't sure how to take what Witchmon had said to her. Was it true that they could put her in jail? She hadn't done anything that bad... had she? She was a wtich. Witches couldn't be incarcerated. It just didn't make sense to Kazai, however, Witchmon had to know much better than she did, and even still, Kazai didn't want to be taken away from her family or anything like that. And in any case, what they boy had said to her, the way that he had mocked her, it wasn't making her any more docile.
"Don't say things like that! I am a real witch!" Kazai proclaimed to the both of them. With this, she'd reach down onto the ground and pull out the witch-like wand she had brought with her. If anything, the wand was rather cute. It was a purple staff with a star at the very top of it. Witchmon laughed and took a step behind Kazai.
"I'm going to teach you a lesson or two about magic and how to show proper respect for your superiors!" Kazai said in the most creeky witch-like voice that she could manage. With that, she waved her wand through the air, gesturing toward her opponents. Witchmon, who was still standing behind Kazai, waved her right hand to follow Kazai's wand movements.
"Abra Kadabra!" And with that, Witchmon summoned a wall of tornadoes in front of the two digidestineds who were now attempting to walk away. This would limit their options of escaping. Of course, this was Witchmon's Baluluna Gale attack.
"You dare challenge the witches? Beware our might! For this is a Witch's and Wizard's duel. Show us your magic!"

Shuichi was glad to see that the other girl wasn’t as idiotic as the witchy one, who probably had a family history of delusions of the occult. He probably could begin a career as a psychologist if he began to document her habits, but it seemed like a long and boring process so he disregarded that occupational path. This led him back to the plan of leaving the store without getting into a fight, which seemed like the best thing for everybody involved. Of course, it being the best option didn’t make it the destined option for the six of them.
The girl really thought that she had magical powers as she began to flick a weird looking wand around, which Shu ignored. Unfortunately, a wall of tornadoes appeared in front of them, which meant that that the only way out was to take down the Digimon belonging to the supernatural girl as the digital life form was the only one capable of whipping up such a wall. He turned to look back at the girl that was standing there and declaring a duel between witches and wizards, and Shu had this feeling that it had been a bad choice to investigate this matter.
“Do you honestly believe that you have the power to manipulate things like the wind? Even a simpleton could tell that your Digimon is doing all the work.” Shu had this feeling that his words were being wasted, so he stared up at Puroromon who looked like he was ready for a fight. He then glanced over at the other girl who had a Koromon and hoped that she would understand that this was no longer an innocent investigation. They were going to have to fight their way back out of this place. His digivice began to admit a light, which was the sign of digivolution for all that knew about it. "Puroromon digivolve to....Fanbeemon!" His smaller bee had just transformed into a much larger and stronger version with rapidly fired stingers. Shu simply pointed at the witch, and Fanbeemon was using his Gear Stinger to try and hurt the Witchmon. Now all they needed was for Kiyoko's Koromon to take it to the next level in order to make this a sort of fair fight, which would probably end with them retreating quickly if they got the opportunity.[/blockquote]

Kiyoko was, for a moment, relieved that she and Koromon would be able to get out of this situation fairly easily--until, of course, she realized that they wouldn't. At the witch-girl's words, Kiyo turned her head to watch as the stranger pulled out something resembling a wand--some kids' toy, no doubt--and started waving it around. Even Kiyoko knew that wasn't going to do anything...but her eyes widened when the girl's Digimon suddenly whipped up several whirlwinds, effectively blocking the exit.
And thus, it seemed that they would not be leaving without a fight. The younger boy with the bee Digimon hardly seemed bothered by the notion, which surprised Kiyoko. But she definitely wasn't expecting what happened next. A bright light began to radiate from the digital device that the boy had, which Kiyoko noticed was similar in shape and design to hers. And then, quite suddenly, Puroromon...changed. Kiyoko's mouth fell open slightly, surprised at having seen her first Digivolution.
"Wh...what was that?" she asked, just above a whisper and almost to herself more than anyone else. Koromon heard her though, and responded.
"That's Digivolving!" the pink blob said. "But there's no time to talk right now, we're going to have to fight!" Before Kiyoko could say anything, Koromon began to wriggle around, eventually freeing himself from his human partner's grasp and bouncing to the ground toward Witchmon. Despite knowing that he wasn't nearly as strong as his foe or even his ally, the Digimon was insistent on protecting his partner. He had only just arrived in the real world, he didn't think he could Digivolve yet. Nonetheless, he was determined. After opening his mouth and inhaling, the little pink Digimon spat a few bubbles in Witchmon's direction.[/blockquote]

Kazai eyes became quite bright as she watched Puroroumon digivolve right before her eyes. It was truly amazing, the magic of digivolution that is. Kazai loved to watch Digimon and find out all kinds of information about the ones she had never seen before. Honestly, Puroromon's digivolution was kind of gross, but not cripplingly so. Kazai had never liked bugs or insects, but at least she could find consolation in the fact that it wasn't a roach or anything like that.
"Ehehehheheh! Aqua Pressure!"
With a wave of her hand and her abilities of Hydrokinesis, Witchmon took control of the bubbles which Koromon had blown her way and used them to create a large dome of water around her body. She was incased right in the center along with her partner, Kazai. Kazai smiled and turned her head back simply to get a glance at her partner.
"Don't hurt the little pink one, he's too cute! Okay?" Kazai said with a smile. She usually didn't have a weakness to cute things, but she was feeling abnormally giddy on this particular night. It likely had something to do with how much fun she was having. Witchmon would only nod to acknowledge Kazai, but in reality, she wanted to see Koromon's digivolution as well.
"Mmmm... I've been waiting to test my power for such a long time," Witchmon said with a rather wicked grin. She held both of her arms outstretched to maintain the dome, but it wouldn't be long before she went on the offensive.

An unexpected event happened that Shu had not been counting on, and that was Kiyoko’s partner not digivolving into its next level. This would make things very difficult for them if they were not able to distract the girl’s partner long enough for them to escape. “This is going to become more difficult than I thought,” Shu muttered as he watched the bubbles fly towards the girl and her partner. It was a futile attempt at fighting someone that had superior strength. He needed to do something that would change the way that the battle was situated so that they had some advantage.
The Witchmon had turned the In-Training Digimon’s attack into her own defense, which just happened to be a dome. It wasn’t going to be easy to break through, so Shu was not going to even try to tell Fanbeemon to do so. They would keep shooting stingers at the dome, but only until Shu came up with something else that would catch the girl off guard. Of course, this witch girl seemed to be a true girl at how she proclaimed how cute the Koromon was, which made Shu think that his partner was going to be taking the large amount of the attacks from the Digimon.
“Kiyoko, we are going to need your partner to digivolve right now. Her partner is just too strong for us to defeat at this level, and it is a lot easier to go from In-Training to Rookie than Rookie to Champion.” Shu had no idea of knowing if this girl had an idea what he was talking about, but she was going to have to learn quickly to assist him in this fight. If only his partner could digivolve again, then this fight would be a lot easier for them.

It soon became obvious that Koromon was at a disadvantage here. The bubbles that the little in-training had launched toward his foe did nothing and were swept away easily. And it seemed that the other girl didn't even want her Digimon to attack the pink blob--apparently he was "too cute."
"'Cute'?!" Koromon cried. "I'm not 'cute'! Don't judge a book by its cover!" But as angry as the her partner might have been, Kiyoko knew that he still wasn't getting any stronger at this moment in time. The boy beside her urged Kiyoko to get Koromon to Digivolve...but how? The girl was still learning just what Digimon were, she had no idea how to make them change so drastically. "Koromon," she called out to her partner, "We have to help! We can't just sit here and let Fanbeemon take all the attacks!" Koromon nodded, but frowned. "Well that's easier said than done, Kiyo-chan...""But she called you cute! Show them, Koromon, show them that you're more tough than cute!" It was a pretty dumb idea, Kiyoko had to admit, but it was all that she had to go on at the moment. She had been surprised by Koromon's original reaction to the word and figured that if it had affected him that much, maybe she could use that to her advantage. But nothing was happening to Koromon. It wasn't working. "Come on Koromon! Do it for me! I believe in you!"Kiyoko's final sentence seemed to trigger something, and she was suddenly aware of a strange sound and a light coming from her pocket. She reached in and pulled out her Digivice--it was glowing, just like the other boy's had. With a shocked expression on her face, Kiyoko looked up just in time and suddenly saw her Digimon partner's body begin to glow as well. "Koromon digivolve to....." "Agumon!" Kiyoko's mouth fell open as she stared at her newly-digivolved partner. What once had been a small pink blob with antennae was now a bipedal orange dinosaur, with piercing green eyes and sharp teeth. "Pepper Breath!" shouted Agumon. He opened his mouth and produced a small fireball within, which he then sent hurtling toward his enemy as a smile lit up Kiyoko's face. [/blockquote]

OOC: Apologize for such the "blah" post. Well, this was quite unfortunate. The cute little Digimon that Kazai had been admiring only moments before had transformed itself into a ferocious Dinosaur. Two vs Four... and this didn't even seem fair. Their witchcraft didn't feel very magical. The flame attack hit the dome of water, causing it to evaporate to some degree. Steam Rose. The dome vaporized. Kazai frowned at her opponents.
"That's not fair! Two against one?!" Kazai said with a tantrum. She stomped her foot. Witchmon, however, was not worried in the least bit. She held up both of her hands.
"Why were you spying on us?" Witchmon finally asked. She wasn't usually one for words with an opponent during combat, but now was an exception.
